Basic Walmart, but unlike most I've been to, doesn't have a lot of allergy free/gluten free products at all.

First, you need to advise the pharmacy with the same information over and over again while standing in front of them. They're so busy thinking up their next excuse that they don't listen to what a client says. Once you pass that stage it's the wait while you watch everyone scatter about like the Keystone Cops. No matter what it is it's not because of them, and corporate is worse. I only use them because my insurance company is in cahoots with them and I am forced to use them. Pretty sad but I hear Rite Aid was worse. Just saying.

I've never been to a pharmacy that has been so consistently awful. I worked as a pharmacy tech for nearly 10 years while I moved and worked my way through school, so I'm aware of a lot of their tactics and can see through a lot of the bull. Because of these experiences, I've also tried to be understanding and patient, as I know there are a lot of moving parts and behind the scenes action. I filled a prescription over a week out from when I needed it, just because this pharmacy has that type of reputation. According to the app, the prescription needed to be approved by my insurance, but told me nothing more. Four days later, I noticed the pharmacy canceled the order, which I only happened to find out when logging into the app, so I called to see what the problem was. I was told that the medication was not in stock and it would be there in two days. A few more days passed and this still hadn't happened, so I called again. This time I spoke to the pharmacist in charge who gave me a number of excuses...my insurance flat out wouldn't pay for it, the medication wasn't in stock and then it was, then it needed a prior authorization, and then they didn't have the right insurance information, despite having had prescriptios filled the previous week. At this point, I told him to pull the prescription and I'd go elsewhere. After hanging up, I found a different pharmacy, but much farther from home. Including the call, my prescription was filled in less than an hour. The pharmacy tech I spoke with immediately found the real issue, which wasn't one of the excuses I'd previously been handed, so I don't buy this store's many woes. I began using the Walgreens app and there hasn't been a single time I've put an order in that I haven't had to call this pharmacy. When I brought this up with the store, I was told that they thought a new app update was probably the issue and that I should "start calling everything in"... to a pharmacy where it isn't unusual to wait on hold 20-30 minutes to speak with someone. This doesn't begin to scratch the surface of what we've dealt with here. My wife and I have been struggling to think of how many of our visits haven't been a battle. I've rehashed a lot of these same concerns with various managers and nothing ever seems to change. From my other experiences, Milford doesn't seem to have many options as far as pharmacies go, but I'll gladly drive out of my way to avoid experiences like this. We all already get caught up in life's stresses. Getting a prescription filled shouldn't be a fight.

They even shipped me head gear that was marked "not for sale - sleep lab only". I asked specifically for the Resmed "Slimline" CPAP tubing, and they sent me some generic bulky tubing. In the beginning, I recall that reordering supplies was easy and accurate. More recently, I can't say the same. I just got my supplies today. I ordered hose, mask and nasal pillows and got hose and white filters. When I called to ask why I didn't get my mask and nasal pillows, I was told that they were out of stock. It would have been nice to have a note in the box (or a phone call) saying that the rest of my order would ship separately when back in stock. I had never, in five years, been told that something was out of stock. In orders prior to that, I was sent the wrong size nasal pillows twice, even after calling and asking that my record be updated to the proper size. While I like the guy who was my first therapist, he fell asleep while talking to me during my first or second appointment. What a sterling representative for wearing a CPAP (yes, he had sleep apnea, too). Otherwise, he was friendly, helpful and informative. I have only had a need to see one other therapist since then, I think. I recall that being an okay experience. The front desk staff has been pretty variable over the time I've worked with MedTix. I've experienced everything from very helpful and friendly to surly, bordering on hostile.

I called to see why I had received a bill and was told that I need to reapply every year for the hardship program. I tried to explain that for 9 years I have never had to pay or reapply and I never got anything in the mail telling me this. I got nothing accomplished with the billing dept. I explained this to my pulmonary doctor who asked me if I would prefer to change companies. I proceeded with changing companies. I then called the old company to come pick up the equipment I had from them. It is now over a week and they have not made arrangements to pick up their equipment. They told me to get my doctor to fax a discharge note to them. They received that fax 10/28/2025. They still asked doctor to let them know what equipment I had. If they don't know what I have how can they bill me? The story is very long but I tried to touch on the main things. They are the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. I am on a non invasive vent in case you wondered what equipment I had from them. I have a new one from the other company and just want the items picked up before they bill me again.
