My 20 year-old Black Daughter who is a College Junior and Entrepreneur who also drives an ambulance, along with her roommates was profiled in this store by what she described as a Caucasian woman with gray hair and another woman whom she believes to be of Asian descent. They shopped for items together for their apartment, paid for them and were then harrassed for about 15 minutes. One of her roommates (6'4 270lbs Black male football player) allowed them to scan each of his items to show his receipt matched those items that he picked up out of the cart. He understands what could happen if he is seen as a threat. The other roommates had gone to the car with their portion of the purchases. My daughter was embarrassed and angry. They had been extremely rude to them from the beginning of the process. Aside from that, after waiting on line and then for an additional 15 minutes the food that should have been frozen or cold was no longer as it should have been. She stated that she wanted a refund for the entire 52 item order. One of the employees walked her iver to Customer Service. After a few more minutes she was told that her refund would appear on her card in 7-10 business days. Her refund never appeared. Before she involved me, she wrote to corporate, was given phone numbers to speak to the site manager, as they were unable to assist her at that point. Then Corporate indicated they needed to speak to the store manager. Thus far there has been no resolution. Perhaps they never closed out her transaction. Perhaps someone restocked the items before everything was processed. She is 20 years-old and trusts the digital age. Therefore, she has no paper receipt and never received her refund. For months, she is getting the run around. One hundred and fifty dollars isn't a lot of money in general but it is to a student who is supporting herself. It would cost me that much in gas and tolls to go in person and try to get someone to be accountable. It's the principle. Needless to say, she and her fellow students' will be shopping at Target from now on.

I have no clue whether this Target has a staff shortage, or whether they are deliberately trying to…read morecut costs here, but checking out here is a chore. Monday of Christmas week, there was ONE person working at a register. Christmas week! This is peak time for full shopping carts and gift cards, for which checking out at a register is preferred. The cashier just kept looking around as if to say, "Is anyone else coming?" Fortunately, I was only fourth in line (that's still bad enough). When I was finally at the register, she phoned for assistants, but by then, the line at this register was about 10 people and stretching into the main aisle. This is in addition to everything I wrote about years ago. Later in the day, I was at the Target in Saratoga/Wilton, where almost every register was active. The only reason I'll sometimes shop here is out of convenience, since it is the closest Target to me, and in a plaza with a few other stores at which I shop. But I'd pretty much prefer shopping at any other Target in the area when possible.

Would've preferred Walmart but sadly, had to come here to pick up some little items for my son's…read moreapt off campus. Ugh. Messy, unorganized, and workers don't want to hope you unless you "Force" eye contact and ask them where things are. Good news is, we only bought 3 items bc we knew were heading to Walmart next. Too bad their company values are sh*t. Gone are the crowds... probably all at Walmart now.
