Never had an issue here. Employees are friendly and respectful. People complaining about stealing and getting caught... well... maybe keep your trailer trash at home. Another customer being denied the purchase of a shotgun. They are doing their job. You can't trust the reviews of customers that shop at Walmart... I really enjoy Walmart BG. It's new, clean, and the employees are mostly nice. My only area that is frustrating to work with is the pharmacy. I'm not sure why they can't be like the pick up center as even though these employees are running around and doing heavy lifting- they always are polite and get the job done. Transactions should be simple not inconvenient or unpleasant. I feel like the managers of this store do a great job and perhaps walmart pharmacy is just a franchise of the location similar to having fed ex in their building. read more

I've had a long history with these two loss prevention clowns, who have been following me and my elderly mother for about a year now. But on March 2nd, 2020, everything changed... I had hesitantly walked into the Battle Ground Walmart at the request of my mom, who needed to buy a few things. We shopped without the usual harrassment until we exited the grocery side exit/entrance. Miss loss prevention girl (pictured) was coming into the store as I was leaving with my elderly mother. She quickly locked eyes on me and got on her phone. She then followed us outside and began filming. I walked my elderly mom to our car, which was parked in the handicapped parking directly in front of the store. As I wheeled my cart back to the store, little miss LP girl yelled out, "you like posting people's pictures online?" I said "I do!" I began filming her, and I noticed her hiding behind a short dude wearing a trenchcoat as she yelled out, "somebody's husband is real pissed off at you!" This was a threat made by her using her husband as a scare tactic... Ha! These clowns have been harrassing me and my mom way too long, of course I posted your pics on the internet, what did you expect??? I believe this female LP crossed the line when she made that threat, so I went to my local police dept to file a complaint against her erratic behavior. The police officer listened to everything I said, and I showed him pictures and video of the incident. He said he knew her, her name is Sunny/Sonny and that he would go talk to her and get back to me later. Couple hours later he knocked on my door. Officer (I won't use his name) said he had just talked to the tall loss prevention male (who also follows me around and likes to make childish faces at me). Officer said the reason they're following you is because your mom is opening packages and putting the merchandise in her purse, while you (me) block the security cameras from seeing what she's stealing... I SHIT YOU NOT! My mom and I are innocent!! I couldn't believe what I just heard!! The officer asked me, "how old is your mom??" I told him. She's in her 80's! He actually said he found this hard to believe. He also said this was the weirdest thing he's dealt with. The officer was actually there to issue me a "no trespass order." Let me get this right... Loss prevention thinks my elderly mother and I are working together as a team stealing from Walmart... I am banned from the store, but my mom can still shop there?? This sounds like a set up. Loss prevention wants to lure my elderly mother back in there, without me to protect her, so they can approach her and falsely accuse her of stealing... I'm on to you.. and they know it! It's bad enough getting falsely accused of stealing, ruining your name and reputation, but making up lies because you have "no evidence" to back up your lies is another story! I wouldn't go here if I didn't have too. For groceries it's Albertson's with coupons. They sell the Nicorette Gum I use so I am forced to go there for this. The gum is locked up and I have had long waits before waiting for an employee with Keys to come and unlock the cabinet. Today was unacceptable. I rang the little buzzer to Paige an employee, waited 10 Minutes, no one showed, pushed it again and waited another 5 minutes or so and still no assistance. Went to Customer Service and told them I had been waiting about 15 minutes and nobody is showing up. He paged someone so I went back to wait some more. Another 10 minutes or so went by and still nobody. Finally went back to customer service and asked to speak to the store manager. She finally came over and I told her that I understand why they lock stuff up, but having customers wait 30+ minutes for an item is unacceptable. Went into Walmart at 4:30 PM, came out at 5:10 PM just for 1 item that should have only taken 10 minutes max. This issue keeps happening way too often. Walmart, fix your system for customers who request items that are locked up. It is unacceptable. read more

My mom goes to Walmart all the time. It's not a horrible place to shop, but it's certainly not as good as Fredmeyer or Safeway. The staff are usually not super friendly, but I get it (Walmart isn't a good place to work) because of the rude shoppers the place is filled with. Other than the people that go to/work at Walmart, it's a pretty okay place to shop for groceries and anything else you may need on your shopping trips. Everything is organized easily enough to find what you're looking for. Sometimes they're out of things (usually 2% milk cartons, big cottage cheese tubs, and some coffee beans), but they usually have other substitutions that may work for what you need. The only real problem I have with this place is the pickup situation they have going on. Without it being rush hour and everyone trying to pick up groceries on the way home (which is hell, by the way), the wait is usually around 20 minutes, even if you get there when your appointment time is. I think they're pretty understaffed, which is why they only have two or three workers wheeling out pickup orders, as with inside the store handling the cash registers. If you prefer contactless shopping and don't mind the wait, this Walmart will take care of your needs. read more

I love the fact that a Walmart Supercenter came to Battle Ground. This makes it so much easier to get the odds'n ends we might need. However, it is a Walmart and sometimes employee training appears to be lacking. I "tried" to purchase a cut of fabric. Employee was new. She was talkative to me and others. I wondered if the my cut would ever be finished. After mentioning to her I was still waiting for her to finish, she couldn't figure out the pricing "gun". No .. she didn't get help. So, I left to finish my shopping. When I returned she still hadn't finished but was working with someone else and didn't know how to price my item or the other person's. After tracking down another employee, the job was accomplished but WALMART, train your employees before putting them on the floor by themselves. read more

I came in tonight looking for an item that wasn't sold online but was said to be in stock at this location. I asked 3 different sales people no one knew what I was talking about. I looked up the barcode and ask if the last woman could scan it. She said "looks like we have two" 'awesome' I thought so I asked if she could help me find one I was met with a blank stare. The manager happened to walk by so I asked if he could help. I offered the barcode or item number he was extremely cocky and rude. He took a look at the photo "yeah, we don't have that" the employee said "it says two in stock" he rudely replied "I said we don't have it" and walked away. The description says mask required, but that's not true I was there today and saw them allowing customers to enter maskless. When I complained to the young employees at the door, they claimed they can't enforce the rule. Yet, there are many. businesses in Battle Ground that do enforce mask rules. I bet they are enforcing the "no shirt no shoes no service" rule. If someone tried to enter without pants, surely they'd be able to enforce a rule. I'm not going back. read more

The stores handling of statewide mask requirements has left elderly and handicap patrons who park at the East entrance at a loss and the handicap parking useless. In this heat with the time it takes an elder or handicap person to walk up to the door just to find it locked is absolutely ridiculous. Clearly misguided management. I spoke to BOTH the door attendantS at the West entrance and recommended that another minimum wage employee be stationed at the East entrance as well, or simply one at each instead of two at the West entrance. I brought in a return with a valid receipt I pacifically told the customer service agent to please do not put it back on my credit card since that credit cards paid off and has been canceled, to please put it on a gift card. She did it anyways and then got the store manager involved to told me that there's nothing they could do they can't Cancel the transaction Which is in fact bullshit they can. So now I get to spend the next 2 to 3 days trying to recover my money when the bank told me that it will not go back onto the card because the credit card has been paid off in the account has been closed. This is a (ONE) customer service review (Roman). Now I don't know which gender Roman was so I can not identify them that way. I bought grocery's. Jug a milk (heavy), creamer (heavy), brick of cheese, tomatoes (please don't smash), onion and a small 3 lb bag of corn meal. No (friendly or otherwise) greeting, ran my order and the peoples order behind me up on my ticket! (The customers caught this). Didn't know how to separate the order! Scolded us for not using a dividing stick (which there were none of). All this, I would not of complained BUT, when you put my tomatoes underneath a few pounds of heavy items and cram them all into one bag, I have had it! Any person who every cooked a meal at home would know you can't smash fruits and veggies for the most part. ROMAN needs to go back to stocking and get out of the check out lanes! read more

I just spent over $100 of my hard earned cash trying to pinch some pennies at Battle Ground WA Walmart. The cashier didn't say hello or thank you to anybody in her line. When it came to me, she rang me up, handed over the receipt and started the next customer's order. My stuff was still on the bag spinner and she put the next person's purchases on top of mine! Granted, I did have about 8 bags and the next customer only had a few items. I even apologized for turning the spinner to get my bags and got no response. No smile, no thank you, not even a hint of friendliness. Nothing. I'll remember that next time I go shopping and spend elsewhere. read more

I really love the Walmart pickup option. Having kids and being pretty busy makes this option awesome! However, they need help in the pickup department. Last time I went I waited 40 min for them to finally bring my groceries out when I had already received an email saying they were ready. When the nice lady finally came out she apologized and said they don't have enough help back there and it was only her working. All the pickup spots were full so it was really busy and she was in over her head. She said Walmart refuses to hire the help even tho they need it. That's ridiculous. There needs to be at least two of them working back there! People were leaving after waiting an hour. Thankfully I didn't have any thing better to do but wait. Also I had already paid and didn't know how it worked if I were to just leave. Don't offer the fast pickup option if you can't get it done. read more

There were no baskets at the front so I asked someone if they were located somewhere else and they told me to check the other door and walked away. I walked to the other side of the store to check for baskets and there were none. I asked another Walmart associate and they they suggested I check the end of every check out line so I did, and there were none. I then asked another person and they said they must all be in use then walked away. I asked the person that was walking away if I could just use a Walmart reusable bag ? They didn't answer me, they just turned to another employee and started talking to each other for awhile. I interrupted them and asked again and the girl said security would follow me so I probably shouldn't. I said I wasn't going to steal anything I just don't want to push a cart around to get ten little things. And she looked at me and said do what you want but they are going to follow you. Walmart in BG. Not impressed. The prices at Fred Meyer are comparable and even Albertson's on certain items. Customer service wasn't very impressive either, might be because of how poorly they treat their employees but I shouldn't see it in their faces while I'm shopping there. I am new to the area and was glad to find the was a newish Walmart nearby. I shopped there weekly at first because I was familiar with their products and had not discovered better deals at other stores in the area yet; however, I was forced to shop elsewhere numerous times because they were always out of the products I needed. I was never able to complete my list because of this. I used to have no problem doing this at the walmart in the town we had moved from. I would get so frustrated I stopped shopping there for my groceries and household items such as laundry soap and shampoo. It is too bad they cannot keep their shelves stocked. Their summer items got wiped out the first part of summer and they never restocked. What a shame. read more

It's a walmart. They don't differ much to be honest. I go here for household items I feel I couldn't find cheaper elsewhere. Walmart is great for this. I never buy their fresh produce or meats though. I've had bad experiences with both of these (different walmarts, but I no longer trust their selections anymore). Customer Service is obsolete. Most the time, I'm okay with this, but Wal-Mart is a large store and finding where an item is can be exhausting and employees usually don't know either. Also, their customer service line is always long even though there are 4 employees behind the counter, usually only 2 (or even 1!)are helping customers. My daughter (who is 6 months old) was fussy I was asked to go to an open checkstand from the back of another lane I was in. I thanked the guy as he unloaded my cart and before I had a chance they asked for my ID because I had purchased wine. They then scolded me for not knowing the tax exempt policy THAT ISNT POSTED ANYWHERE! After making me feel dumb the supervisor then told the cashier "its not your fault" basically letting me know it was mine. It was completely unprofessional and made me feel completely unwelcome as a customer THAT doesn't know the tax exempt laws at EVERY STORE since I haven't lived here that long. read more

We got a slip and slide and put it together then checked out water in the bottom and there were two huge holes and you could tell that someone put glue all over the holes trying to cover them up. Will be taking it backup the Battle Ground Walmart where we got it. We've already had issues with Walmart and here is the other story short: We got an iPad Pro at the Walmart in Orchards, and it has scratches underneath the screen and it had nothing inside of it. You'll more than likely spend more than you should here. Items are stocked incorrectly; so the price tags on the shelves don't match up with what you bought. Coupons won't be scanned. The cashiers scan one item multiple times, after which you have to go over to customer service to stand in line again to have their mistakes corrected. In the evening, they turn out the lights in the back of the store and then there's a guy that randomly comes out of one of the dark aisles asking what you're looking for--a bit startling at times, especially at midnight, when you're not expecting to see an employee hanging out in a dark part of the store. There are always people living in the parking lot in vans and cops driving around the lot in circles looking for something. I recommend going to Fred Meyers or Safeway. read more

It's a walmart!! When we first moved here the only walmart we liked was the one in Woodland. But considering we live in Ridgefield that is a little ways, especially if you need something right away. Finally in Battle Ground they built a walmart and here we are. It is one of the first buildings to be built in what is now called Millcreek Town Center. Keeps growing around Walmart. I like this walmart. Fairly fresh food. People at the selfcheckout are very nice. Considering that normally something goes wrong when i go through. Very seasonal. Good prices. Easy drive. Good place to get food and homeware. Always ready for the holidays. read more

I keep giving this place chance after chance since it is close by where we live but I have decided to travel to Woodland walmart from now on. This Walmart is HORRIBLE at restocking items. I have an odd schedule so I'm usually there after midnight. That's the time things are getting stocked. I'm ok with that because I like when it's less busy. The staff working at that time has always been really nice and helpful. Especially at the handicapped lane, which is usually the only lane open. First, I have no high expectations for any Walmart. Their employees are treated horribly & I really try not to shop at any of them. That being said, the Battleground Walmart is one of the cleaner Walmarts in the area, & definitely less skeezy. My two stars are based mostly on the way a cashier treated my husband and I as she rung up $420 worth of our groceries and came to the final item--a bottle of red wine. Our children were with us, & she said she'd need to see all our ID's, even the kids'. What the EFF? 1) My husband brought his wallet so I could leave my obnoxiously heavy purse at home, so I didn't have my ID (I'm 43 & certainly didn't think if my husband had his ID that I would need mine, too. Again I'm 43 & look my age). But the cashier with her who she was "training" said they wouldn't sell the wine to us because our kids were with us & we might be buying it for them. 1) what the EFF? And 2) on the very slim chance we were buying it for them--we were not--that would be our prerogative as parents. We had to go get the manager, who was barely 20 himself, who said that his staff "didn't have the training" he had & that obviously he would allow us to buy the wine. Damned straight you will! I needed it after spending $420 on scarcely a week's worth of groceries that would have been much cheaper down the road at winco. Where we would have been treated better by employees who are treated better. Long story short--that was the last remaining Walmart that still occasionally got our business. Not real impressed with the customer service with the Walmart. When I was purchasing some cookies at Christmas I was using the u-scan and it rang up wrong. When the associate came to help me I told her the problem, she said she couldn't do anything about it, I asked if the PIC could be called over she said that there was only one PIC on at the time and was really busy and it could be a long wait before they could come help. So I told her forget it gave her the cookies and had her remove them from my purchase. I used to work for Walmart in Topeka, Ks as a Dept. Mgr. in fact I helped set that store up. I was Bentonville trained. This Walmart is not run in a way that ANY walmart I have ever been is, and I've been in A LOT of walmarts! Poor Mr. Walton would be so disappointed if he were still alive! Horrible, Horrible, customer service. NEVER order from Walmart and pick up at Battle Ground. Wa. On 4/2/2016 around 4pm I went to pick a small package I ordered from Walmart online. First of all the Walmart app doesn't help at all, like they indicate it will. I walk to customer service, and they tell me to walk to the pickup area. Ok , so far so good. I go to the pick up area. push the call button, and wait, and wait, and wait. Finally after 15 minutes, I call the store operator. She said she would tell a manager that I'm waiting. 5 minutes later, a manager comes by and says she will help me shortly. Not true....She goes back to help several registers with what ever problem they are having, then disappears. 5 minutes later I go back to Customer No Service, and there she is. I tell her I still haven't been helped. She says: " Oh Yeah". This isn't the end, but I',m tired of writing. Needless to say, don't order and epick up anything from a Walmart store. t read more
