So I have placed an order online, and it was canceled because there supposedly was none in stock. So I called and spoke with 1800Walmart, and talked to a guy named Muhammad. He told me to reorder for the alternate which was just a difference in color, so I did so. He stated he was going to expedite it. I then drove to the store, and my phone dings, and it says order delayed until tomorrow. I then call the store from the parking lot because I'm already disgusted. I speak with a guy he is calm, and nice about things he says he is going to try to fix it. He puts me on hold and a woman picks up. I tell her I'm on hold waiting, and she says she is taking the call over. I have to spend five minutes explaining it to her again. She then says there is nothing she can do. She is not just going to give me something I haven't paid for.... Are you calling me a thief cause that's how you made me feel.....Excuse me ma'am you have $450 dollars of my money tied up...... Ummmm it's been paid for twice. I ask for a manager she claims to be the HR manager. I ask if there is a customer service or higher manager there she states no. I proceeded to let her know I'm in the store, and I went to the customer service desk, and I asked Eli for a manager (Eli was cool, and wanted to help). He contacts Porcelain who tells me she is the front end manager. She tries in every way she can to help me, she even called her boss trying. There was nothing she could do, but she tried. It's not always what you tell someone, it's how you tell them or if you even try which the First Lady did not. The First Lady also lied she is not a manager, and she was not the only manager in. I even gave her a chance to admit she was not the only manager there, I warned her I am super nice until you cross a line, and then I will walk through hades to be as petty as possible. As far as customer service she needs demoted, and retrained in customer relations. Porcelain needs a raise, and could teach the other lady how to treat customers. I will be as petty as I can be, and will be contacting every manager I can all the way up the chain. If nothing is done they will lose me as a customer, and a Sam's Club customer, and I'll be taking a huge corporate account somewhere else as well. As far as Walmart's go, this one is below average. Parking: Medium sized lot that is always full. Tough to get in and out since the lot is shared with several other businesses. Selection: Produce is never well-stocked and the quality isn't great. Items will be mis-labeled and ring up a different price than advertised. Normally Walmarts honor the advertised price, but not here. The electronics and craft/fabric section are scarce. Customer service: It feels like everyone is burnt out and/or hates their jobs. I can never find an employee when I need help. You will not get a smile, greeting, anything. They seem to enjoy being as least helpful as possible? They also don't do grocery pickup (the Walmart in Xenia does). There are so many places you can go that have better service, prices, and selection. Try Meijer on Col Glenn, Target on North Fairfield, the Walmart in Xenia, or Kroger on Dayton-Xenia. Literally anywhere else. Your average Walmart. I like that the lines here aren't too bad the times I've gone. But I usually go on the off hours. The layout is the same as every other Walmart I've been in so it's super easy to find everything. Sometimes as you're walking down the aisle you'll see people leaving their already eaten food on the shelves. Who does that?! read more

I'll be the first to admit that Walmart isn't ever my first choice for my shopping needs. Negative stories and jokes about Walmart and its often unique customers aside, I've usually shopped elsewhere. Based on multiple visits to the Walmart Supercenter in Beavercreek, it has become a regular part of my shopping rotation. What was good about this Walmart? The grocery store portion of the supercenter was surprisingly good when compared to other area grocery stores like Krogers or Fresh Thyme. The produce department offered a large selection of good looking, fresh fruits and vegetables at fair prices with a surprising amount of the inventory being organic. The meat section was equally impressive and I came away very pleased with the quality of steaks, particularly the NY Strip, which looked fresh and possessed a nice red color with plenty of intramuscular marbling. The biggest surprise was the availability of beef tongue, tripe, oxtails, and...(gasp)...beef cheeks! All of which were priced noticeably less than what you'd find them at Whole Foods. As for the non-grocery portion of the store to include the checkout lines, it was, as you'd expect, the standard Walmart selection and experience, somewhat chaotic but still reasonably efficient with enough open lanes to ensure wait time for checkout wasn't overly long. The one negative was the parking lot, which seemed small given the size of the store, and had inadequate access to/from it from the street. The Walmart Supercenter is what it is...a Walmart. It's a very well known quantity. That said, this store held some lesser known, but very welcome quality, as well. read more

Picture your first time in a cake decorating class, and that's the cake this Walmart Bakery will present you with. I picked out the "sophisticated" 1/2 sheet cake, which is ironically the exact opposite of what I received. The cake was supposed to be gold on the sides, which ended up being an inconsistent pastel yellow that spread across the top as well. The decorator crammed the letters together towards the end to fit it on one line. Your average first grader could have done a better job. Pathetic. read more

Wanted to purchase a power tool, a circular saw. I go back to the hardware department and they are all locked up behind a glass case. Why? I understand with small valuable things, but these are in larger boxes and kind of bulky. It would be very unlikely someone could shoplift these. Regardless, i ask a employee to unlock the case for me. He can't find the key. He calls for someone else who supposedly has a key. Nobody showed up. I asked him 3 more times and 3 more times he called for someone. Nobody ever showed up. After 30 minutes i gave up and left. Went home and ordered a better brand off Amazon at a lower price. Yeah, i have to wait a couple days but at least i dont have to stand around in a store. read more

I wouldn't wanna give them even one star! Long short story....It's really annoying that every time I go send money gram, they always make me filled out the form! I went too many Walmarts and from different states and their not like this one! if you have send money gram before you don't have to worry about filling out the form again. All they do just ask for your phone number and who you want to send money to. I went to send money gram twice and they even ask where I was born and my date of birth! Most employees are rude and miserable looking all the time. I continuously have boxes in my way when trying to get to a shelf from employees stocking shelves. Wow! I have been coming to this Walmart for almost fifteen years and this is only the second or third time that I have received customer service that went above and beyond. Tyler, from the Electronics Department, was one of the most knowledgeble sales reps I have come accross. As Wallmarts gos, this one is just eh. Its not always the first place I go, but it is certainly convenient. I will give it huge props for having some things I haven't seen on the grocery side of a Walmart before (like tongue and beef cheeks), and the quality is really good (definitely good in my belly!). The one thing I was shocked they didn't have - dried chilis (was looking for Ancho at the time). That being said - Its produce is also pretty good and it has a good selection. Its great for a quick stop on the way home to pick up that one item the hubby needs (or I need) fr cooking something. On the non grocery side, its also got merit; from needing last minute bubble wrap and boxes (great selection there) to needing standard bath and kitchen items. I'm sure I'll be back. read more

Ever since the remodel, I really like this location. The place is clean, the staff is very nice, and the shelves are stocked.
