So there appears to be an internal scam going on at Walmart. They are charging my card anywhere from $50 to $200 and most recently $420!they are delivering packages to my house with a false name... likely they plan to porch pirate. Fortunately, I've beat them to it every time although they continue to try and now are even leaving packages out in the driveway versus up by the door, so delivery appears to be in on this scam. Walmart does not even list a phone number to report and the employees at local store could care less. The only way to fix on my own is to delete the app and discontinue ordering groceries for pickup. Worse store ever! I usually shop other Walmarts and this was the absolute worse!! Walked in and no carts at all! I even asked the gal at the front that was doing absolutely nothing and she didn't even budge. Ended up carrying everything. This is by far my favorite Walmart. They're always great deals in this store. The shelves are always fully stocked. If you find that a shelf is not stop., the associates are always willing to look in the store room to accommodate your request. They have a variety of items that most Walmarts don't carry. They also have an excellent clearance in each department. I also enjoy the fact that there's someone always around to help. They have weekly mark down so you can always catch a great deal. The store is always clean and well maintained. There's also a McDonald's inside in case you want something different. The deli has great meal starting at just $3.48. There are also other prepared foods like subs and fruit bowls to choose from near the deli. This is just a great overall shopping experience. read more

My husband and I went to the liquor store in Walmart. There was an older lady at the counter we asked for help finding a certain type of liquor just stood there and told us no, I asked her if she had anything else like it she just said nope. Wasn't helpful or nice. We got another alcohol, I had my ID (I am 26) my husband didn't, he only had his electronic motor vehicle ID (which cops now take now). They wouldn't accept it, and wouldn't sell us the alcohol. The old lady was rude about it the whole time, a youger woman came (must have been a manager) she was nicer and said they couldn't accept it. At this point I was so irritated at how the older woman was though, he had his Id out in the car but we just decided to leave. Walmart should change their policy to accept the virtual IDs from the department of FLDMV and put someone who actually helps behind the counter and has people skills. read more

This place really has no idea how to staff. There is consistently a wait to cash out, any time of year. I truly hate coming here. I generally drive 7 miles down Interstate 75 to Target rather than the two miles this place is from home. Today I waited in line for 13 minutes. I was the fourth person in line. Between the people and the associates it's a fiasco. No matter the time of day. Always an ordeal. The parking lot is consistently loaded with buggies, baskets whatever you want to call them. Where are the cashiers? You cannot make people wait in line on Saturday and Sunday's for 30 minutes and then the cashier announces the line is closed. No options except you have to go wait in another line. Don't say you cannot hire cashiers when the self serve machines are not working. You have plenty of customers. Pay more if you need for key times but don't treat your customers this way. I have been coming here 6 years but in the last month , it is ridiculous. Holy crap, worst experience at the auto center from any Walmart... it's like the McDonald's workers for "auto mechanics" no offense McDonald's workers... oil change and 4 new tires, over 5 hours and the mechanic has 6 teeth 2 in his mouth and 4 in his pocket. So apparently it's Walmart policy and state law that if you're with someone who isn't 21 and the person buying alcohol who is 21 [also paying separately], the entire party must be 21 otherwise no alcohol can be sold. Seriously? How is this enforced? If I'm a parent and I have an underage child and I'm buying alcohol, are you going to refuse service to me? This is our go to Walmart, nicest and biggest one around here. The reason for three out of five is 90% of the employees don't give a damn. My most recent upset happened when I bought a stroller. I made them check to make sure all the parts were in there while I dealt with my two-year-old. They told me I was good but when I went home and put it together three wheels were missing. I was SO upset. Not to mention like 30 checkout lines available and only TWO OPEN. My advice to anyone purchasing anything from here if it has pieces that can be lost take it out and check yourself!! read more

I finally got the nerve to use the Walmart app for pick up. I followed all the instructions and showed up during my designated time. I was informed it was a "bad" day and they were running behind. At first I was very understanding and actually very appreciative I was immediately given a $20 gift card and a goodie bag and was informed my order would be out in 10 minutes. I had a really amazing experience the other day in the fabric department. I was looking to check out but no one was around (I had yet to ring the bell for service). A girl walked by who was holding her Walmart vest in her hands and looked to be on her way out from a shift. She saw me at the counter and went out of her way to ask if I needed help when she saw I was shy to ring the bell. She said she would be right back and got a fellow employee to come and help me. I believe her name was Dianess (not sure on the spelling), and she was just so kind and cheerful that I felt compelled to write this review for her. I work in customer service myself and think people often only "Yelp" when they have something negative to say. I'd like to change that. So Dianess, this one's for you. This is the first place I dropped by every time I am in the area (so far twice). It's great that it's the only place around that is open 24 hours and as far as I could tell, the prices here are actually cheaper than other walmarts (in California). They should have closed this location when the one on SR 70 in Bradenton opened. Or they should have their staff visit and get some training on customer service. Every time I go there, the service just gets worse and worse and these people want to be paid $10-15/hour? I do not particularly like shopping at Wal-marts. People that work as cashiers are complaining about their jobs other people that work there, never enough registers open, they ring things up too many times, then you wait in line to get a refund etc. It is more of a convenience issue. But my last two visits reinforce my decision to only shop at the one on SR 70 in Bradenton or not at all. On 08/03/15, I ran in for a few items while my family waited in the car, There were two older men behind the deli counter. I saw that they were having a difficult time managing the two people in line so I decided to run through the store and get what I needed and then return to the deli counter. When I did, I was the only one. I was told by one of them (who was trying to get a price gun to work) that someone would be right with me. One guy, must have been going on break or home because he took his apron off and walked right by me standing at counter. Didn't say hello, acknowledge me standing there. The guy who said he would be right with me continued to fiddle with the price gun. This went on for several minutes. I mean really? Put the darn thing down for a few minutes and help the customer. its not like he was taking anything out of the oven or time sensitive, Every time I come to this Walmart, I never feel like I am the priority. The store wasn't that busy and there were only two chickens and still 40 minutes until the next batch was ready. The two in case were shriveled up and over cooked. I got my lunch meat home and bits of other meat shavings on my turkey. I threw the bottom and top slice off because I did not feel like eating cross contaminated meat from a unclean meat slicer. The next day was the icing on the cake, why I will NEVER shop at this Walmart again. I bought a package of Huggies Diapers for $7.97 and used a $2.00 off coupon. I got home to only realize I grabbed the wrong style. The next day, I returned to customer service to exchange the diapers for the correct style. The lady behind the desk said I couldn't do that because I used a coupon. I proceeded to tell her that I didn't want my money back just the correct style diaper. The coupon was good for ANY Huggies brand diaper. They get reimbursed from the manufacture. She said I already reaped the reward of using a coupon so I could only get $5.97 back and would have to go back and buy another style diaper for $7.97 and use another coupon or pay $2.00 more. In all my life of working retail and customer service field. I never heard someone hold on to their decision on a purchase under $10.00 as if it was their money. I JUST WANTED AN EVEN SWAP. HUGGIES SAME SIZE, DIFFERENT STYLE which THEY had my coupon IF I or my daughter had walked in with NO receipt and said we got as a gift, they would have taken our driver license number and have given us the $7.97 back or a gift card or an exchange. I can ASSURE YOU , Because I have bought things back before and NO QUESTIONS were asked. I told her she was incorrect in handling this request and I know why I dislike this location and her comment was " Well you still shop here don't you?" Well we EXCHANGED the diapers at another location that strives to provide excellent customer service. read more

Never any registers open. They have all the self check out and only 2 employee staffed registers open. The time of day does not make a difference. Weekends, early evening. Plenty of the employee supervisors standing around talking at the end of the aisles, just looking at the lines. Pharmacy is no better. Lines 6 people deep and only 1 register open. 4 or 5 new bays and no cashiers. I am switching to mail delivery from my insurance carrier. read more
