I love this store in Bay shore gardens. The customer service couldn't be better. I asked the butcher if he could cut a special roast for me, he said" this is Publix, we can do anything", hey they really do. I was waiting for an order for an order by the fish counter, an a off duty worker named Marilyn asked if I need help, she couldn't have been more delightful. The BEST! Great quality produce and meat. The best fried chicken and sub sandwiches. But the thing Publix does even better is take care of their communities! Every Publix that could be open right after Hurricane Ian was open. They were receiving shipment of food and essentials a day later. They had good food, water, TP and batteries before and after unlike stores like WalMart. They stand alone among grocery stores. I grew up in Florida, my family has been here for many generations. My work took me to the East and West Coasts for decades. There are no grocery stores left like Publix. Thank you for taking cate of your customers! read more

So, of course Publix is wonderful to shop in. Always clean, well-stocked, fresh produce and meat. Employees are overall nice and helpful. Now- if we could stop allowing non- service animals in the store that would be great. "We're not allowed to ask about their animal" is so assinine. If the untrained, dirty, animal is on a 9' leash and the owner is parading around obviously desperate for attention with their super adorable pet.. chances are: NOT a service animal. Problem is they piss and poop in stores and bite people. Not sure why their rights trump mine. What about MY FEELINGS???? Also, ever noticed that all Publix, there are more managers than cashiers or deli people. So many chiefs and not enough Indians. read more

Every time I come here is a bad experience and I can not reiterate that enough. Zero enforcement of mask policies, so what's the point of having a rule of you don't enforce it. What's next, people coming in naked? People not having to pay for their stuff? I'm confused on where the line is on what is and isn't okay here. Britany was a terrible cashier also. I specifically went to the 10 items or less line and had the two morons ahead of me with 25+ items each. So what's the point of having the line specifically for that? She had the audacity to ask if I was calling her slow after I mentioned to her what line she was cashiering for. Physically she wasn't slow, but she could've been at least twice as fast if she actually did her job and removed these people from the line. So I guess I am calling her slow, mentally at least. Publix, please fix your staff and your rules before I encourage people to come here to see what rules we can flex and how hard we can twist your arm before something gives. read more

Ok I've never wrote a review in my life but this was the worst experience I've had at any publix . I won't be back at this location the women behind the deli sandwich counter was so rude. She was rolling her eyes at me the min I started waiting in line she had no problem making the 10 other people's subs but as soon as went to order my one sub there was a problem you would have thought I asked her to move a mountain. She was slamming the toppings on and smashing and squishing the sandwich as if it was WWE, Lettuce tomato and onions flew everywhere it was just a overall horrible experience. read more

This Publix gets the job done. I only shop very very early in the morning right after they open but the staff are nice... if I'm giving them slack, for it being so early and they haven't woken up yet. The produce and bakery are better than most. But unfortunately there have been times where they don't have what I need at this store whereas they have it at other Publix stores. Why this is I have no idea; But I digress, this Publix gets the job done. If you just need to make a quick trip for a few essentials, this is the place for you! read more

Amazing grocery store! I shop there 3-4 times a week! It's clean, has friendly and helpful employees and an awesome selection of fresh meats, seafood and deli. Their buy one / get one is such a wonderful value! I also use their app to get extra savings . Remember to try the fresh bakery items... one of our favs is White Mountain bread baked fresh daily! One last thing to remember are their deli subs made fresh in front of you, and fried chicken to die for! read more

In general I find Publix to be a little pricey but you cannot beat their Deli. The best subs, fried chicken, and one of the widest selections of quality deli meats and cheeses around. They also run really good deals in their ads a lot of the time which makes up for some of the priceyness on other items. read more
