I ordered groceries to be delivered. Less than half of the items arrived. I tried calling the store, who transferred me to the pick up and delivery department, but as usual, they never answered. I finally just called 1-800-Walmart. The AI assistant tried to help me but told me I couldn't get the rest of the groceries, and a technical error prevented her from refunding me. I asked to be transferred to a real person. He was actually able to help me, although replacing my missing items was not an option. He processed my refund and was very pleasant. This is not the first time that a delivery from this Walmart has been botched. As a matter of fact, it's either missing items or simply not delivered at least 50% of the time. If it wasn't for the decent prices, I'd quit going there altogether. So frustrating! read more

The workers in general act like they could care less and I get it man your working at the crap walmart in town but good lord man. Do not use pickup from this store. I've tried and given them many chances. My groceries were given to someone else once. No apologies just oh well, 75% of the time they never ready on time or at all on the day I wanted to pick them up. Today was the last straw. I waited for an hour for an order that had been ready for almost 2 hours at that point . Called the store about 30 times, letting it ring and ring and ring trying each depart. Last call I just let it ring and roll for 10 min and got customer service. She was polite and said yes they are behind and that 60 min was completely normal and they had been taking up to 2 hours to bring groceries out. That I needed to be patient. I did not have another hour and thank god I didn't have a car full of kids like some customers. I had no more time to wait at 4:00 on Sat I had to leave and just cancelled my order. We will just start using another store even if more expensive at least they manage to fulfill pickup orders. read more

Hands down the more unorganized, worthless, unprofessional walmart. Went in yesterday to cash a check, it was closed. Called ahead today to make sure they were open and accepting paper ID'S. They said no problem. I get there and they're not accepting paper id's. It's honestly infuriating that the employees have no idea what's going on or what the rules are. read more

Of the 2 Walmart stores in CR, I highly prefer the this one. Likely because you don't see as many 'sketchy' people in this location, but it's also much more clean than the store on the SW side. I enjoy stopping in here when I'm on the NE side of town. Much cheaper place to go than Hy-Vee for groceries and the selection of items in general is great. The NE location actually carries different items than the store on the SW side; specifically for the health conscious person; more organic and gluten-free items. Still, if you want fresh-er produce, meats and deli items shop elsewhere. read more

Just bought some things from Walmart, thought I'd use the restroom before I head home. A staff member pulled their cleaning cart in front of me. I ask "is this bathroom closed?" And he responded "it will be I'm cleaning it" I'm appalled by the rude behavior!! Are you serious? Walmart staff is going to be that insanely rude and block me from the bathroom? I understand if it was an urgent reason like the bathrooms were disgusting, but it was early in the morning and I was the only person there about to use it. How embarrassing on Walmart. Cashier Sarita is completely incompetent. Please pull her off a register and provide her with more training. It took us 25 minutes to get through the line and we only had one person in front of us!! She could not figure out how to make EBT payment. Stood for 10 minutes, spinning in circles looking pleadingly at other cashiers but did not say a word. Final a manager noticed and came over to help. I ordered a pickup for groceries the night before. I picked a time available to pick up. Never got my order. The time to pick up my order it was not ready and said they was busy. I was to pick up the order between 7pm-8pm. At 7pm got a message the order was not going to be ready. I waited till 8 to call. After being on hold for 20 minutes was told the order would not be ready until the next day. I cancelled the order. read more

This store is a mess. They do not go by first in first out. The first night I worked there, the first pallet of frozen goods didn't all get put away. The frozen food was out for the entire shift and put away at the end! They like to stick new employees in the hardest departments so the people with "tenure" get to do the easiest. I went there for a few things and when I got to the front to checkout there was NOT A SINGLE LANE MANNED FOR CHECKING OUT. Then only the self check outs on the far end. I told the girl there it was ridiculous there were no manned lanes. She said there were but they are both on break. It was 8 pm and there were alot of people in the store. I'm done there. 2nd time with no checkouts. So now its Amazon or Target. Walmart doesn't pay me enough to check myself out. read more

This review is specifically regarding the Pick Up service. I've used this service several times because of the "convenience" of it. Everyone I've worked with has been very friendly but I feel this area is grossly understaffed. Each of my orders have been delayed or "on time" but I've sat in the pick up parking spot over 20 minutes for the on time orders. This is a great service idea that could be really helpful if WalMart could provide the staff to support it. As of right now, I will no longer be using this service as it's more of a hassle than anything. read more

This is the worst Walmart I have ever been to. Dirty, cluttered, items left by other customers all over the shelves, a staff of people who clearly hate their jobs, and are untrained at customer service, and don't know anything about the store. Never had good service here. My friends were buying two hats and they had them on and we're walking around talking with them on again WITH THE INTENTION TO BUY. An assistant manager then comes up and tells them to take them off, they obliged. He then circles back around and tells them to take it off and he won't have that attitude in *his* store (even though it's not his store what so ever) and tells them to put it back where they found it. They didn't find it in appearance and I haven't been around this Walmart too much because I usually go to Edgewood since they seem to not have a stick up their ass all the time. My friends are trying to explain they don't know originally where they go and he starts to get an attitude. I then step in and try to resolve the conflict because I didn't want any drama and since this Walmart loves to target teenagers and call the cops on them I felt I should step in being the oldest in the group. He tries to interrupt me and I then interrupt him by repeating sir. He then talked down to me and repeated "you really don't know where the hat section is?" I said no because I don't go to this one. He said put it up at the cashiers I said okay, where exactly do you want it? and he walked away through us. Mind you, we weren't being disruptive or anything. They only had the hats on because they liked them and they were making fun of my beanie I had on while other younger teenagers are riding the carts that move and we knew for a fact that they didn't need them. I will avoid this Walmart at all costs, thanks for the overpriced pancake mix and low selections of healthy food though. :) read more

Do not go to this store unless you want to do self service checkout. After spending almost an hour shopping & with well over $200 in merchandise in my cart, left my cart & walked out of this Walmart for the 2nd time in a month. Wednesday 12:15 pm lunchtime with only 3 checkers and one of those had one arm in a sling. All three lines had at least 6 people in the line. I walked to customer service to ask for a manager & there was one person working with at least five people waiting. I had the same thing happen earlier this month & walked out then. Today I thought I'd give them another chance. Never again! I'm switching my prescriptions to Marion & I won't be spending my money at this store again! read more

I bought an Apple I phone 6 at the cr ia west store and I am so disappointed and frustrated! I was told that they could transfer all my contacts etc! They couldn't! They showed me nothing about the phn! It seems 2 me f a person is hired 2 sell cell phones they would no what they r selling! I spent good hard earned money on this phn! Never again! This store is ok. I had an issue with a cake, but it was taken care of in a timely manner. I would never go out of my way to go here. I have not found a Walmart in Iowa that doesn't contain sketchy shoppers and employees. read more
