I had the best shopping experience today, all due to Kendra Walmart Associate. She spent more than 20 minutes helping me find some bras for my mom. Believe me when I say it was a challenge to find just the right bra for her. I explained to Kendra what I was looking for and the size. She never gave up. I would have been there a lot longer and probably would have given up if it wasn't for her. She was never bothered that I was taking up a lot of her time. Her attitude was awesome. The only thing this Walmart has going for them is a customer service. That's on the good day. As to the quality of the items they have and that's if they have it in store is definitely not worth coming here any longer. It's never been consistent with what you're looking for. This is BY FAR the worst place to make an online delivery order and have all your items actually delivered! I have been ordering deliveries from all the Modesto Walmart stores and this Ceres Walmart and this Ceres Walmart almost always screws up and there are missing items. Today, half my order was missing but it said it was filled. One screw up a couple days ago caused me to have to postpone my granddaughters birthday party because of missing items. Today, AGAIN, the items I really needed were missing along with half the rest of the order. Do yourself a favor and don't go through the stress and frustration of dealing with the Ceres CA Walmart for deliver orders. Order from another local Walmart or another competitor. I am BEYOND over the employees at this store , I have been nothing but harassed since my first visit : I do my best not to come to this store but this is the closest store to me as single mom running on FUMES. I pay for Walmart+ to be able to skip lines . I have been told by multiple employees there's no way I have that. One of your employees has stopped me every time one time snatching my debit card out of my hand and blocking me from leaving. today I was about to go ask for the manager there was 4 female workers chatting about non related work and sharing pictures. I went to one of them two times to ask for assistance they said they would call some one we waited and waited and no one help. So I went back and ask if at least they had a scanner or something to check if they had the prod she reply what ever you see is what there is and everything is online now they continue with their conversation folding the same baby clothes multiple times pretending to look working. Maybe next time I'll look for the manager so they can re-educate their staff on customer service don't they know after all the customers contributions are who are paying their salarie. Worked here once. I got scolded on several occasions for assisting customers. Apparently, helping customers wasn't part of my "job description" and I was forced to ignore and walk past customers needing help. I couldn't just ignore people, so I helped, and thus got in trouble. Also, very cliquey high school drama. Even when ignoring all customers, the expectations to complete assignments are not realistic or reasonable. Most managers are rude, passive aggressive, and some will even verbally abuse employees. Only way to survive is to 100% ngaf, stay silent, and regret your decisions. In 2021 it was so exciting to finally be welcoming a WM Superstore to this area. The old store was extremely poorly stocked and disorganized! Now two years after the Superstore opening the disorganization and low stock has gotten much worse, if that's possible. All this is not rally reflective of Walmart in general but of poor management somewhere along the line here. Getting a new store certainly has been disappointment. If I feel so inclined I can drive within a 50 mile radius and find much nicer kept Walmarts. Let's try some better management folks!! read more

I was here on Saturday with a group of moms. Our kids had sport events out here in ceres. The moment we walked in we were racially profiled by an AP associate. She kept walking by me and other mom making comments like "they are all in here stealing but I already called the cops." Or "when I was paying she said that even if I stole a pack of gum I would go to jail". Which I laughed because I don't need to steal anything. I am a business owner and I don't understand how can Walmart have someone working for them with this racist and ignorant mentally. She's a liability to Walmart and her behavior was 1000% unacceptable. She must of been on some type of drugs because her behavior was unexplainable. She also caught up to another mom from our group as she was walking out with her kids and asked her for her receipt but didn't ask anyone else but her. Another mom also said the AP associate pointed at her when talking to security and said she's one of the thieves. We spoke to Eric the AP manager he excused her behavior by saying she was new and was overzealous. When I asked for her name because I was going to call corporate he said he couldn't give me the associates. If you are Black or Latino i suggest you go somewhere else unless you want to be racially profiled and harassed. read more

One of the WORST walmart's i've ever been two. Not once but this is the second time i've been stopped because they believed I was stealing. Both times I showed them a receipt and all my items were paid for. The didn't check anybody in front of me nor behind me. I should not have to tolerate being treated like this. Such a shame because I really did like how clean this Walmart is, but the workers are such @$$hats. I was doing shopping, and towards the end of my trip I need to get a watch. The watches are locked, so I look around the watch counter for help, but nobody's there. I look for a button to press, and I don't see a button. Ok... I guess I'll just ask a worker. So as politely as I could, I walked up to an employee who was working on produce, a latino-looking man I would say around in his early 40s, and asked if he could please get someone to open the watch locker for me. The response? This man just straight up yells at me saying that there's a button I need to push. I tell him "well... there wasn't a button..." So he frustratingly says that he'll come over. When we get to the watch station, he's looking for a button and he can't find one. SURPRISE! There wasn't one in the first place lol. Then he yells at me again pointing to someone and says "That man! He'll help you out!" For thinking that it was appropriate to yell and give me a $hitty attitude, I tell him that I don't need his help anymore and he can leave. I wish I had his name, but I don't. Luckily, the nice man named Arthur said that he was sorry and he was helping someone else in another aisle out. Completely fine. He unlocks the storage for me and brings me over to self-checkout where I encounter someone named Mike supervising the area. Arthur politely tells me that he'll help me from here, so I thank him. Mike then tells me he'll check it out for me, so I'm thinking that he'll just scan it and it'll be a separate receipt. So I go to the back to let other people use the self-checkouts as I'm in the way, but he's not doing anything. After a few minutes I walk back up to him and ask him if my watch is ready. He then tells me to make me feel like I'm stupid that I just walked away instead of checking out my things. I was never told I had to self-checkout all my stuff in order to get this watch. He just made me look like some kind of fool when he couldn't even communicate proper instructions. Not to mention I didn't want to do self-checkout. I had so many items (way more than 10 per the self-checkout policy) and I would've preferred if I went to the register. Nevertheless, without doing ANYTHING to the watch, he gives me the watch to scan at the self-checkout. Seriously? He didn't even do anything, all Arthur really had to do was give me the watch instead of bring me over to this guy. Okay, whatever, so I scan all my things and leave. I'm just shocked how these employees treated me. Next time I walk into this Walmart, I love how clean it is and the cheap prices, but I'm not saying a word to any employee. You guys are rude AF and I sincerely hope you get more training, because not only is this unacceptable behavior as an employee, but even just as a person in general. read more

This is the biggest Walmart I have ever seen lol, it's like the size of a football stadium. The staff was nice and friendly; they actually walked customers to show them where items were located instead of pointing. I thought opening a new Walmart in Ceres would change the things up compared to the new one but NOOOO! Yes, it's bigger and it has more a variety of but it's trash. I wouldn't even bother going, if you can go to Winco (literally almost the same prices) or even Target. I would trust me. I don't see walmart even changing. I hope management sees what customers think and express here. Various of Reasons. 1. I've noticed it's more women than men that tend to have an attitude for asking a question or comment on something. They just stare you DOWN.. and say " No, I am sorry" or " I dont know" and leave you hanging. 2. It seems everything is very unorganized as you have tyo walk through isles to find the items you're looking for. 3. The customer service itself ... is complete trash. They give you so much drama for wanting to return / or exchange an item. 4. The pharmacy itself is ridiculous. They'll inform you it's ready when in reality it's not even ready or have they started. The line is insane and just the workers itself are distracted from their tasks. 5. This only happen once, I am not sure how many people help with bringing shopping carts back to its 'designated place' for customers, but sure they do have an attitude... so they can go through instead of having manners. 6. They tend to check receipts due to the race/ ethnicity .. or what you're wearing to see you didn't steal anything. read more

I notice many people have said many negative things about this Walmart. But my most recent time I went there it was very good! I know many of the employees are some what okay-nice-people. Okay so my situation was purposely to buy some Timothy Hay for my new bunny I recently bought. I knew that Walmart stores sold them because it was in there online website. I went to the animals department in the store and I found only one bag left. Unfortunately that bag had a rip in it. I went to find someone to ask if they could find another bag in the back, one without a rip in it. The man checked and said they don't. Later on I found the manager of Walmart (His name is Spencer) and I let him know what was wrong with the bag and he told me that he would give me 10% off because of the rip. And I ended up leaving as a happy customer:) I'm just really glad that I ended up finding the manger. read more

This store is a pigsty. This is the dirtiest, most filthy store in the area. If you got to the Save Mart in Ceres you'll see what a clean grocery store should look like with clean shopping carts, clean parking lot, etc. If you then go tot the Walmart in Ceres you will be totally grossed out because of how dirty the store is. They don't even put out hand cleaning wipes any more for customers to wipe the filthy carts that don't roll because of the dirt and hair stuck in the wheels. This new Walmart is way cleaner from when it was down the street. I gave it four starts cuz a display fell over and it cut my leg. No big deal. I went to customer service to ask for a Bandage and something to clean it. Cuz it was bleeding. They bring me sanitizer wipes for the carts. A customer who was listening to what happen said don't use that. So an other employee went out of her way to look for a first aid kit. Her name is Rhonda she didn't find nothing but just her going out of her way showed that she cared. Also the managers were nice too. We end up buying bandages and spray to clean it. They asked if I wanted to make a report but it was just a cut on my foot. No big deal. I would just ask them to make sure their displays are fixed on the shelf's correctly, and Maybe keep first aid kits on hand. read more

Do not order online! I ordered simple felt Christmas stockings for a party from them because they were scheduled to arrive the day before my party. I got a message on that day, that they would not arrive until after my partying. I contacted the seller that Walmart uses and they told me to send them back for a refund and would not give me a free shipping label (it was their fault why I returned them). It costs me $13 to send 10 felt stockings back!!!!! Ridiculous and I will never use them for holiday shopping online, or rely on their shipping dates. They advertised one thing but didn't live up to expectations. No wonder Amazon is getting most of my business. read more
