Pastry/ bread: freshly made, pricing can vary. Customer service: it's good, friendly and welcoming. There's an older lady, she is nice, but I don't know if she has a hard time finding the items in the computer. She tends to charge different from what is written on the glass door. I only realized this after I grabbed a stuffed bolillo, marked $4 displayed on the glass. But once I went to pay, the total came out to $6.50. Which I stopped coming for a while. Today I came by just for the coffee. Never really had their cafe de olla. But today I decided to get an iced latte banana bread cafe de olla with oatmilk. First impressions the coffee looks good. First sip, was nice, all I tasted was the banana oatmilk. Once I took a sip of the coffee, it was giving bitter and burnt. Like the coffee was just sitting all day just burning. Wanted the strawberry tres leche but they were sold old so I tried the mocha with Ferrero Roche on top and it was bomb. My wife literally purred when she tried it. Inside the bakery has a lot of options, I was drawn to the chocolate muffins but one dessert at a time, so I definitely need to go back. The lady at the counter was very polite and the prices are decent in my mind. Lots of space to move around and even has some seating. Nice music playing too! Fast and friendly service. Bakery was very clean and welcoming with ample seating. Food was delicious! I bought bolillos as I was looking for sandwich rolls. Croissants were an option as well. This place used to be so good! Once they started to renovate about 5 years ago I believe. The bread got stiff, the prices went way up and the staff became rude. Haven't gone back since! When this bakery first open was good. But I feel over time it keeps becoming not as good as it used to be. The price is high compared to other Mexican bakeries. Riverbank has some really good bakeries and very inexpensive and just as good or better than Betos. The quality is no longer there. read more

Literally eat Mexican Bakery in the 209 This Far tha I've tried. Concha's are moist and the little Elote sugar coated sweet breads are SO SOFT and delicious. The bread for tortas is also really good. Fantastic bakery located very close to the I-99 freeway on a small shopping center. I am NOT kidding. This is THE BEST concha I have eaten outside of Mexico. Soft, flavorful, a good amount of topping. Simply DELICIOUS! Cash and credit card are accepted. There is easy parking. They had many types of Mexican pastries and they were all very fresh and soft! The guava-cheese croissant is better than the best one in Tampa. That's huge, as Tampa's flagship panaderia is very good. Beto's is better. The variety of pan dulce is terrific, with tons of options beyond conchas. I'd swear one bread I tried was a cream scone. If so, it was an A+ cream scone. Even buying at 7 pm and eating the next day, the pastries tasted fresh. Don't be put off by the location in an unprepossessing strip mall: the store is clean, the baked goods are fresh, and the staff are extremely helpful. Pay attention to what they charge you. We went in last week and went to pay, we had 2 bags of bread the lady was counting them and entering into register... and she says $42 .... WTF!! Pre ordered and paid for 24 bolillo de leña, for a birthday party that I was having order was to be picked up at noon. ( i was making tortas) I showed up at 12:30 for pick up with the cashier looking confused as they there was no bolillos ready for my order. After she went to the back and found the order slip and payment she let me know that the bolillos had not been made. "They forgot about my order" I asked if they can still make them as my party didn't start until 2 they used the excuse that the oven was broken. To say the least I received the bolillo I ordered. I'm all about supporting small businesses and when my son's birthday rolled along a couple weeks ago I decided to try my local family owned bakery. I ordered a cake for my son which was half a sheet as well as a flan and other sweets to try. The cake turned out amazing, it looked beautiful and tasted fantastic. I love that it was not Ridiculously sweet like most supermarket cakes tend to be and all of the teenagers all loved it too. This place sells cakes, and variety of breads and cakes to choose from. I don't really recommend this bakery because it's daily schedule is messy, and this expensive.
