This Walmart doesn't seem so super. The parking lot is a problem in the dark, for sure. Inside, it's like the stores in Lodi, Turlock, Richmond--not quite super, but with a grocery. None of the areas were truly staffed and employees were bouncing between locations, but not quite literally. Product was stocked decently and sort of organized but they were missing sizes in the men's clothing and there were a lot of re=packaged items. Who wants re-packaged underwear? The cashier was friendly and since he was one of three handling the crowd, I'm impressed that he kept calm. The self-checkout lanes seemed to be unattended somehow. read more

On 3/10, I placed an order and was confirmed. Before driving to store for pickup, I had even called the store if my ordered item was in stock because I did not want to drive there for 3 hours only to be told it was out of stock, CSR replied to me confirming "Yes" my items "ARE IN STOCK". Then I started this long journey. When I got there you know what, what I questioned did happen. I was told my order was canceled as the item was "Out of stock". Grrrr!!! This store locks everything up! Good luck if need men's socks, underwear, t-shirts, fishing gear, razors, make up, dog leashes, etc... this place is Fort Knox! First of all I get it, loss prevention! However, the inconvenience this causes and the time spent waiting for a busy associate to come open the case, then they tell you which check stand you can pay for your stuff, the line is always super long because it's just one check stand. It's so frustrating! I'm weaning myself off of this place! Go to Target, CVS, specialty stores or order from Amazon especially if you value your time! Honestly, if you know what you're getting or browsing for gift ideas, its great, yes its crowded but what did you expect from Walmart? Its a popular place so you're gonna have to expect the long lines, etc. Definitely want to say, be courteous of the workers, they definitely got long shifts with lots of customers to satisfy that it can be overwhelming. The workers are respectful and sweet as long as you're doing your part to do the same. I went into the tech today, and Connie, Marc and their team lead was all so helpful! My item had some complications, but making jokes and also having an understanding of the situation makes this a great experience. Connie also helped me move my heavy item to the front of the store since I didn't have a cart and grabbed me a cart! 10/10 for Bonnie, she is lovely! I would rate 5 stars but, the lines are definitely really long and I would honestly say that the aisles are pretty tiny together especially when there is lots of customers. DO NOT DO PICK UP ORDERS!!!I've done 3 pick up orders at this location, all on different days and times. It really makes no difference when you pick up, you will be waiting 30 minutes to an hour for your order. There doesn't seem to be any system in place because even the workers bringing out the orders go from car to car with the same bag trying to figure out which order goes with which car. Save yourself the time, do your online shopping somewhere else. read more

They have the bike accessories locked in cabinets. As well as items in other departments. Only one employee has a key to these cabinets. Evidentially this employee was out to lunch. Waited 40 minutes for a bicycle tube! How about a lock box and any employee can swipe their card... read more

My husband bought some snow cables which were faulty & broke on us. When we returned, we took our receipt along with the defective cables that was purchased a little over a week. The customer service clerk stated we do not refund defective snow cables once they are opened. We then spoke with Alex who called himself the "Coach" who also refused the refund of this defective item. When asked why will you not refund this defective snow cable, Alex the Coach stated, "because I choose not to & I don't have too!" Note, the manufacturer's warranty stated a full refund will be issued by the store of purchase to include Walmarts policy of accepting refunds with or without a receipt. We left without our refund & currently dealing with this issue about Coach Alex's "I said so decision." Very disappointing & frustrating situation! Shop at Target! I don't think I will be going back there any time soon. It felt like going to a walmart in a prison. Very strange walking through the motion censored corrall door inside the store. I went in for a few things, and everything I wanted was strangely locked up. Ok, I can deal. But after every associate does not have the key needed, though they where all polite. I just about gave up and compromised for other products not under lock and key. I got an earful with my wife about everything not being what she needed. I'm not looking for a sorry or anything. Just... There are plenty of other stores that are better epuiped to handle my and my family's needs. The one thing I liked though, was the bearded guy with the big cheerful smile. Don't EVER get your car's oil changed here. They worked on my Honda last month, and 2 weeks later, it was making a wheezing sound and leaking drops of dark oil under the engine. I took it to a Honda service shop, and they told me the engine was almost ENTIRELY drained of oil, and would have seized up. Further, Honda showed me that they had put in a perforated oil filter, which was causing oil to mix. I am taking this up officially., with their management, and if they don't respond, then we are going before a judge. read more

My husband and I bought tires from Walmart online and had them sent to this location for us to pick up as this was the closest to us. We then made an appointment for my husband to go have them put on our daughter's truck, WORST MISTAKE EVER. He was told that it would take an hour or so to change all four tires, after an hour and a half they only had 2 tires completed. He then spoke to the manager about the time concern and was told "well sir we're not nascar here." Then after that, come to find out, they sent the employee that was working on the truck to lunch before it was finished! Worst service ever, and no help from the management whatsoever. read more

We come to Walmart for our essentials and we expect mediocre customer service. This location was well stocked and fairly clean. As usual there were very few checkers with astronomical long lines (get more checkers Walmart). We opted to do self check out, because that's the best way to control loss and provide an iota of customer service.... when we were leaving, the lady at the exit door, who is supposed to check receipts as customers leave, was playing with signage. I walked past her with my 2 items in hand with my receipt showing- she barked at me "where is your receipt!!?" I said it's right here and waved it so it could be seen with the items I had purchased. She ordered me back into the store so she could check the receipt. Really?! You need to look at my sunblock and panty liners. Maybe if you went and opened a register you'd be more useful. I HATE WALMART!!! I have NEVER received any level of good customer service!!! I just left the Walmart on Mitchell Rd with once again HORRIBLE customer service!!! I'd rather drive the 10-15 miles to shop at Target in Turlock than deal with the crap from Walmart which is 2 mins from our house. I bought multiple of the same items, that had NO SIGNS ANYWHERE ON THE ISLE or the shelves that limited the quantity. I get to self check out and the lady loudly causes attention to us saying you can't buy all those. I told her there were no signs. Her reply was customers rip them off the shelf and we announce it every hour. I told her while I was in the store I never heard the announcement. They pick and choose who they want to apply those rules to. The rude employee told me to put the items in the cart and I told her No you can put them in the cart!! Then she ordered my daughter to move my purse, cause I told her she can put the items back. Last bad customer service experience was trying to buy a bike and the temporary store manager had to step in. The employees told me employee, Michael is always rude to customers. IM TRULY A TARGET CUSTOMER FROM HERE ON OUT!!! SO LONG TO WALMART, they need to actually live by their founder, Mr. Walton's ideals. I fear they have been lost for good! read more

My Ceres Wal-Mart night experience started when I walked in through the entrance. As I passed the front bathrooms, I cought the scent of a thick muster of human fiecies. I noticed a senior citizen greeter, her eyes were nearly open, with saliva leaking out of the side of her chap liped mouth. To be honest I didn't know if she was alive or dead. As I walked past the withered hag, I couldn't tell if the horrific abomination of stench was coming from the restrooms, or if the smell was lingering from the greeter. I literally gagged as I tried not to vomit As I brushed through a crowd of meth and heroine addicts, hoping my arms wouldn't rub against there track marked arms in fear of disease. I asked an employee to direct me towards the cough drops, he acted like he didn't know English, I know he did. I located the coughdrops. As I reached for some Halls cough drops, a 350 LBS woman in a moomoo reached right in front of me. As she grabbed for her cough drops, she dropped a box of vagisil she was carrying. As she bent over to pick up the box, the woman farted on me. I could sworn it was a shart. In disgust, I was ready to check out. It looked like 15 registers, and only 2 were open. After an hour of waiting, due to register complications, I got ringed up and was on my way. Of course the alarm went off at the exit. The woman who then seemed to become alive stood off her stool and drug her feet to aproach me. It took ger nearly ten minutes to read my receipt of ten items. As I was walking to my vehicle, I noticed a group of thugs, following me, the faster I walked the faster they walked, I finally just made a run for it. Got in my vehicle and got away. I'm never going there again. read more

I agree with the other reviews. This place is the worst. It's always crowded. The employee's don't ask you if you're finding everything okay, or if you need help finding anything. A lot of the items aren't priced especially in the children's clothing/accessories section. There was a plastic tub full of socks. None were priced, didn't know if it was clearance or not. The store is a mess. The aisles are too small, you feel cramped walking down them. Then when you go to check out, you have checkers who have no clue what they are doing, they are unhelpful. There is no customer service...Never heard a " Hello, how are you doing?" " Did you find everything ok?" I felt like I was bothering the woman that checked me out. I'd rather go to Target where it's clean and customer service is awesome and people are happy to work there. read more
