I never have any idea why people rate Walmart so low when I think it's a great store and you have the best deals for almost every item and they have so much here from technology to food and ice cream and utensils for your kitchen as well as car stuff. Always free and open parking and plenty of carts at all times. I believe in Walmart! I had to get a wine bottle opener and it was a last minute run As I have 3 at home but I wasn't home so at Walmart they had one for 97 cents!

I will start here, I remember when the Hall Plaza opened, not many stores. Before the Walmart came in, this location was a Pharmor, a one stop shop for groceries, a pharmacy and even a video rental store, then become a Menards. Next, very clean location, nicely stocked, friendly staff. A lot to choose to from, from food, cleaning supplies, media and more. The prices are decent if you are doing a price comparison. Weekends are pretty packed but check out times are pretty quick depending on the line. Very welcoming location from the several times are I have shopped here.

I always need a drink after I visit a Walmart and today was no different. Not sure if its the large crowds all rushing to get their items, or the huge location and trying to locate that one item that you need, or just the discombobulated feeling you get after rummaging through the racks. Or maybe its all of the above. My biggest complaint here is that its just so hard to find things at their stores. Its always so unorganized and untidy. I'm a bit of a neat freak so all these things are stressful and induces the love for alcohol after each trip. Yet for some reason I keep coming back. Walmart is like crack.

Nothing terrible about this location. It's your typical Walmart - pallets of products everywhere, crowed, but not terrible.

They have a good assortment and open at 6:30 AM! They have "redone" the Novi location so they always have a checkout.

They deny entrance 10 minutes before closing. Just needed to grab 1 thing. Frustrating and would be nice to have a warning posted somewhere.

Roscoe Square isn't a bad looking shopping center for Chicago's Roscoe Village neighborhood. What…read morestood out to me during my visit here is that it has two supermarkets which are Mariano's and Jewel - Osco. Other stores in the shopping center are Supercuts, Sprint, Petco, Toys "R" Us, GNC, Wing stop, Meatheads, PNC Bank and Orange Theory Fitness Center. As for my visit, I came here on two separate occasions which were to utilize the Red-box machines at both Walgreens and Jewel - Osco, plus for a TCF Bank visit at Jewel - Osco. It seems very redundant to have two Red-box machines next to each other, as well as two supermarkets in the same center. It would be more beneficial to put one of the two in another neighborhood versus both in one neighborhood, but that's just my opinion. Moreover, depending on the time of your visit you may encounter many of the Lane Tech College Prep students due to the campus being next door, so don't be surprised. As for future visits it would most likely be for TCF Bank deposits which I do like once every month, but since there are so many Jewel - Osco locations scattered throughout Chicago/Chicagoland with TCF Bank branches attached the chances of regularly visits for me are very slim. The Christmas tree was tall with different kinds of decor including mini gifts, stars at the top, balls and Christmas lights. It also has a gift beside the Christmas tree. The Christmas light outside looks pretty amazing when it's on. It has a different color including blue, red, yellow and violet. The reindeers and snowballs outside were looking great. This Christmas decor was bought by this mall. And if you're looking for a decor that has a fair price and has good quality you can come to this place. My mom highly recommends this mall. We will be back here after she's done at her work to buy another Christmas decor.

I hit every furniture store along Central Avenue and Belmont Avenue and this place was the best for prices and selection and it's also large and clean. Don't fear - most of the styles on the floor are very "Euro-esque" which caters to the clientele in the neighborhood. I witnessed a European lady buying couches in brown leather with chrome legs and tassels and financing it too. But they also have less aggressive traditional American styles. Just ask for Ali or Besam. If they don't have it in stock they will get from their warehouse in Elgin. I was looking for a very specific piece. My room is small and there is no room for bedside tables so I wanted a headboard/hutch with cubby holes to hold a water glass or clock radio. I use a futon with a wooden frame as a bed and I wanted a hutch to match. Ali and Besam found EXACTLY what I had in mind and it was only $80 so I was very happy. My hutch is sturdy, solid wood and made in Malaysia. It is nice to have a small locally-owned business in the neighborhood with excellent prices!

In order to revive this neighborhood and to boost the business activities, free community parking lot is available on Central. If you feel like paying unnecessary money, I guess you can also utilize paid street parking along Belmont. Hubby and I took advantage of the nice weather to walk down there and check it out what this store was about. Think about "Cook Brothers Warehouse," "Forman Mills," and those major discount retailers (TJ Maxx, Ross Dress for Less, and Marshall's). "Save & Tell Outlet" is like a combination of these three, with the entire downstairs basement featuring all furniture. Since we were on the lookout for a bed frame, we took a peek and found some possibilities. S&T is having a grand-opening special during the month of March on most of their furniture, saving up to $400 on some of the pieces. S&T carries overstock or liquidation from Macy's. The old Macy's tags were still present on their clothing items. I saw some young girls picking out bras and panties. I wasn't that curious, yet hubby was and went straight to the section. He then reported back to me that four (4) bras were on sale for $17. You do the math, and I would say that deal was pretty good! I also saw name-brand perfumes, kitchenware, curtains, shoes, and blankets. Overall, it's a decent store for the convenience of neighborhood residents.

My most recent example is that I had been told by a tech recently that one of my client's meds couldn't be filled yet (understandable - due to insurance) and that I should call when he has two left. That's cutting it too close for me, so I called it, and a second one, in last Thursday. Tuesday, Client's brother gets a call that meds are ready. We go there Wednesday, and neither med is filled. The pharmacist said she could fill one within 15 minutes, but she had to order the other one - the one a tech had told me to call in when he had only two left. I do not think they always staff the pharmacy well because there has been a long wait a lot of times, with only one register open. We seem to be doing better when we hit it around 11am. Like all (most?) Walgreens, they have hours in the day where the pharmacist is on a lunch break, so check before you go if you need to see the pharmacist. Regarding the rest of the store, there are some great employees, but there happens to be staff that act as if it's a huge bother to help us at the register. Overall, with the vast number of Walgreens in the city, I'd avoid this one unless it is logistically ideal.
