I have a question: Why are so many reviews to do with online orders, and not the store itself? I will leave it to the folks at Yelp to figure this one out and decide what to do with said ratings. Anyways: It is pretty typical for a Walmart experience to have lamps in the same aisle as kitchen blenders. They're both housewares, I suppose? The store was reasonable clean, well organized and stocked, no department I'd walked through looked like a tornado made its way through. However, it is noted their selection seemed to be slightly smaller than some other Walmarts outside of Chicago proper. On the one hand, while I can understand not all stores can stock every single item. Heck, I've seen a Target in TX that had a full-on Deli and Bakery department! My complaint is how tight this store is. The aisles, and even the parking lot were just about the narrowest I've ever seen. If someone is looking for an item, there's a lot of waiting that has to take place. Traffic jams... welcome to Chicago? I can't speak for the staff, as I didn't have a chance to interact with anyone. I was able to get my items, pay, and leave without incident. Half of the self-checkouts were closed, but as it wasn't very busy, the wait was minimal. Final verdict: As far as Walmarts go, it wasn't bad at all. However, this comes with the caveat that you'll encounter a hilarious amount of traffic in the aisles and parking lot. Would recommend?: If this is your local Walmart, sure, just bring your patience. Would return?: No, only because there is a bigger Walmart closer to me. read more

First, clarifying this location. My order was placed ONLINE. And it was shipped from BOLINGBROOK. If there were anything in my order to come from a store, it w/b from Diversey near Cicero, which is NOT on the list of Walmarts here. That being said - I want to talk about the LOW-LIFE Walmart delivery person who, rather than following the instructions in my profile [to leave all packages w/the security person at the lobby desk], they decided to leave my $35 pkg. OUTSIDE, at an OPEN GATE on the side of the apartment bldg. where ANYONE could walk up and take it, which they did. Closing the gate for the picture was supposed to make me NOT KNOW that it stays open 24/7. A refund is fine, but WTH do you think I ordered the stuff if I didn't want it? This person s/b FIRED. I know you need your job, but then you should READ. The delivery instructions were clear. If there was traffic, sometimes you've got to 'suck it up,' that's the type of job you have until you can do better. I will start here, I remember when the Hall Plaza opened, not many stores. Before the Walmart came in, this location was a Pharmor, a one stop shop for groceries, a pharmacy and even a video rental store, then become a Menards. Next, very clean location, nicely stocked, friendly staff. A lot to choose to from, from food, cleaning supplies, media and more. The prices are decent if you are doing a price comparison. Weekends are pretty packed but check out times are pretty quick depending on the line. Very welcoming location from the several times are I have shopped here. read more

I am very disappointed. I placed an online order on 7/8/26. I monitored the app. It said delivered. The driver sat in front of my building and dropped off anything. I called the store for a resolution and was told to wait. I waited more than 48 hours. Kept being told my order was coming, it did not. On the following Friday I was told the order was canceled and it would be 72 before my money was returned so that I could reorder. I am disabled and live alone. I need apps like this. But to be told to wait up to 5 days to get my groceries is completely unacceptable. I was hung up on and gaslight. Walmart do better.​ read more

Do yourself a favor and don't place an order for curbside pick up at this location. It takes about 20 minutes to get your items to the car. This is the only location that has this issue. The store is a sad mess. The employees seem to lack any sort of energy or willingness to help in any sort of way and that's probably a reflection of management. Lines are always unnecessarily long even the self check out. As mentioned in other reviews the lot is horrible. There is no reason they can't improve the appearance and keep up with the pavement. Stick to any other location besides this one. read more

Not sure what happened with this location. But it's not what it used to be. Prices have more then trippled. Not a very good selection of women's clothing. The fabric department has been so condensed it's ridiculous. Also the pet area also has been condensed and the selection of treats is poor. Walmart can do so much better. The only good experience I had during this visit was when I checked out. The cashier was very professional and courteous. Thank you Mr. Elijah for your great customer service. Nothing terrible about this location. It's your typical Walmart - pallets of products everywhere, crowed, but not terrible.

I have been to a Walmart in multiple states and this is one of the worst. It's crowded with what seems like 100 employees, and most of them appeared to be standing around talking or laughing or just generally in the way or watching you, and some of them are rude. I was going to the self checkout and a security guard held up his hand in a stop motion shaking his head... WHO DOES THAT? If the section is closing just say that. I'm a human being and if you presume I can hear or even read lips it takes no time at all to say this section is closed in the first place. This location is not well kept, there is junk everywhere even in the early morning hours. Clearly they do not straighten up a single thing before going home at night and as I walked by the restrooms a very stinky smell assaulted my nose. The refrigerated sections barely seem to be keeping the food cool but they don't have to worry about me eating anything from there ever again. read more

With all of these one star reviews, you can tell that Walmart is not doing nearly enough to improve their service to the public that they thank so much! I will say that their representatives on the phone are always nice and helpful. It is a shame that I have to call them so often. They finally switched my store for my shipping/ deliveries so that maybe I can actually receive a package or two instead of their drivers saying that they attempted to deliver and were unable to. I live in a very large building with receiving room and door staff....impossible that they were not able to deliver. If you do not have enough (dollar worth) for delivery and order a few items for shipping.....they may still deliver!! I was even given the phone number for the store to talk to the manager. I called at least 6 tiems and no pick up. I finally called the pharmacy who then paged the manager for me. I told him my issues and he then informed me that he will follow through and that the extention that I clicked was a fake number so no one would ever pick up. I always need a drink after I visit a Walmart and today was no different. Not sure if its the large crowds all rushing to get their items, or the huge location and trying to locate that one item that you need, or just the discombobulated feeling you get after rummaging through the racks. Or maybe its all of the above. My biggest complaint here is that its just so hard to find things at their stores. Its always so unorganized and untidy. I'm a bit of a neat freak so all these things are stressful and induces the love for alcohol after each trip. Yet for some reason I keep coming back. Walmart is like crack. read more

I came into this Walmart to get some medications from the pharmacy on a Wednesday afternoon. The pharmacy was great and the pharmacist really sweet. That said, the actual Walmart store was kind of a let down. It just reminded me of KMart. It was bland, boring and kind of meh. The men's clothing selections were limited. The grocery area unkempt and the housewares generic. I will say they had a nice electronics department.,I guess I was expecting more from this Walmart. I haven't been to a Walmart since moving into the city 5 years ago but was on the hunt for Halo Top and decided to do a grocery shop. To my surprise the Walmart was clean and organized . The produce section was shockingly large and the produce looked good! The meat section also had more options then Aldi carries (which is where I typically shop). In terms of food - this Walmart had an abundance of options at reasonable price - and while it was busy there due to the amount of space I didn't feel overwhelmed, Check out process was easy- most lanes were open and I didn't have to wait long . Upon arrival I dialed the number listed to check in for pickup. I dialed the number 20 times. No answer. I then walked up to the pickup door and the person that came to the door was not helpful. He should be fired. He kept telling me the order wasn't ready for pickup when he didn't even ask me for my name nor what pickup spot I was in being that I couldn't check in since no one was answering the phone. I even called the Walmarts main line and again no answer. The staff I was speaking to was so rude and had no knowledge of how to properly handle his job. I ended up having to ask another employee for a manager. Upon waiting for the manager the boy/girl was yelling out she's not moving from in front of the door. First of all why would I move if the woman just went to get a manager. Doesn't make sense these people have to be on some hard drugs. The manager and security finally came and asked me what was wrong. I had to explain to them what was going on and they kept saying the orders weren't ready and I'm like then why did I get a confirmation email saying that the items were ready for pickup. This is the most dumbest experience. I swear I never have these issues when I shop at Target and from now on I am never ordering from Walmart for pick up ever again. So unprofessional. After 15 mins of waiting in the cold they finally asked me what the name was on the order and what parking spot am I in. Jesus Christ this is ridiculous. It was a hassle to park my car when I came here because they have no vacant parking . There are a lot of cars there. When I enter there are a lot of customers. It's the weekend so there are a lot of people buying their groceries. Some of the products that I want are not available and some are already sold. Even though they have many products in their inventory, they are already sold immediately. I asked one of the staff if they had a stack of the products that I wanted but he told me that they were already sold and they don't have them in their food storage. I only bought some chips and cookies. They have a long line at the counter so I wait almost 15 minutes before my turn. I had a hassle and tiring experience in this store. read more

Really sketchy. They appear closed at least an hour early. They barricade the main entrance with shopping carts and dim the entrance lights all to deter customers near closing time. They also close the main registers prior to closing time. They close the self check prior to their 11pm closing time and say as much to any customers coming in. I came in at 10:40pm to buy steaks I witnessed employees cleaning the inside and underside of the machines with a large sprayer with fresh produce still on the nearby refrigerated shelves. This all seemed to be very unsanitary. Entry staff was rude on the way in and security staff was rude on the way out. Amazon, Cermak, and Costco, can have my business. read more

Walmart delivery service 3rd party is horrible, they are lazy! They will give you substitutions even when walmart is fully stocked. Or you order sugar free they give you it with sugar. You order Spring water they will give you Purified water Call the 800 number they don't give you anything for the trouble you went through they say they're gonna credit your groceries back sometimes you get it all your money back and sometimes you don't this is the worst service ever! Worst Walmart I've ever been to. Waited over a half an hour to try on clothes at the fitting room while they tried to find someone with a key to the doors. I was there yesterday around 5:00 pm in check out self buying my stuff when I need help I called out for the three lady's standing there talking the whole time one of them had there back to there customer. And the 3 of them We're telling each other no you go first I don't want to go and help them . Next time that happens I'll be calling the manger on them in person so I called and spoke to a manger on duty I hope those three lady's get in trouble because you don't do that keep people waiting if you don't like your job or dealing with people go somewhere else they were Africa American lady's one of them was short the other female was taller skinny and the last one was chubby. As all Walmart stores, they have almost all you can think of and zone times, they have way moooore. Clothes, food, electronics, beverages, Tons of toys, outdoor gear, camping supplies, home goods, and automotive items. and all basic stuff are inside and very difficult to beat the prices. This is the best place to be to shop. Excellent for your pocket the prices are even better than ever. You get more for your money every single time you shop at Walmart. I love it. And I can't believe how consistently kind everyone was. They were professional and able to do their job at a 100%. and they have people there that help it go smoothly. Walked in to return a couple of items that I ordered online it did not take long to do it. Afterwards we walked around the store and some aisles were a mess and some the employees were unloading the merchandise to the floor so it made it look worse. I saw a sign in Spanish that was misspelled, And on our way out at the register, the young lady who helped us looked like she did not want to be there and unfortunately she had that look as if she smelled something bad, I just paid for my merchandise and left, So do expect good prices, not a lot of quality and definitely no service. read more

Like usual, the store is crowded. I also had some time in the parking lot, but eventually found a spot to park. I do not always go to this store, and I just visited it to buy some supplies that I needed, particularly for arts and crafts, and also had to buy groceries as well. I bought groceries first. The store is crowded, and most of the selections are already a mess, but there are still a lot of stocks. I do not have a problem with the groceries I bought. Everything that I needed is available, including its particular local brand and just about everything else. The prices are reasonable as well. There is a sign of low prices everywhere inside, and I think it is true because the prices are all really reasonable. I was done with my groceries when I realized that most of the products, I bought were fresh and of good quality. The arts and crafts selections are also a bit disorganized, but I don't mind because the most important thing to me is that I get to choose from a variety of options and everything has a pretty and interesting design. It would be a great help to me, and I definitely like it. The checkout had a really long line, which was not a shock to me, and instead I patiently waited, even if it took a long time. The products here are good and affordable. I do not have a problem with their products, but their service is really sometimes on the down side. read more
