They are ticking me OFF. They sold blue bird debit cards yrs ago. You could load funds on the Amex BB card. Blue bird has decided to end the blue bird program by next summer, 2026. However, Walmart has decided to prevent customers from loading money onto the card with ZERO explanation to the customer. You can spend money already on the card, but can no longer load money. Why they would do that a year in advance of the card being discontinued, is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. They don't even bother to tell the customer, either. They blamed it on blue bird and blue bird said it was a WALMART issue. This was inconsiderate of the customer's needs. Completely illogical. Even the managers have no clue that this happened. Don't count on the conley road Walmart to ever have what you need in stock. There are pallets full of things needing to be stocked around every corner. This is not a supply issue.. this is a store issue. The entire store is trashed. I am also weary of their products after seeing frozen food returns sit in carts for god knows how long and then put back on the shelves. The employees are rude and not helpful. I have also had several occasions of ordering photos for pickup at this location and they are either not ready even after notifying me that they are, or they can't find them. I will be driving across town to shop at a different Walmart (if I even go to Walmart again) from now on. read more

This Walmart on Conley is extremely crooked. They're taking in false advertising as a business plan. They will post a price on something but when they ring it up it will come up several dollars more. When you let the m know this they check and say they'll sell you one at the price posted but you will have to pay the higher price for the rest. If you argue them that false advertising is a crime, and tell them that they are trying to fuck you over, they will stand there like the idiots that they are and repeat the same ad nauseum bullshit over and over. The scooter was acting up so I went to get a different one. Apparently they're bigoted as hell and had been following me. They wouldn't listen and I was about to get a weapon that I carry out to make them move. I didn't but I refused to cooperate with anything they wanted. So unclean, mostly empty shelves. Product all over the floor -- and the smell in some areas is wet and moldy. They have just given up. And don't bother looking in the app for what's in stock. This is the oldest Supercenter in the area and that alone is the reason for three stars. First, the good things, the store is clean, the items you want are usually in stock, the staff is polite, friendly and helpful. And unlike many Walmarts there is always someone to help you. However, for a Supercenter it is small, and therefore feels crowded. And despite remodels, you can see the building's age. It is in a strip mall that includes a Lowe's and a Sam's Club and many smaller stores therefore the parking lot therefore is always full. I will always shop there tho as the positives far out weigh the negatives. read more

Conley Walmart is getting a make over and hopefully will be back in shape soon. The old manager got the store in bad shape. Also the employees are not suppose to be putting cold things, that have gotten hot back on shelves. Always remember to look at your product. I always keep a pin with me and mark on cold products hot,if I see them laying around. I honestly don't know who y'all got that was rude. While waiting on my elderly mother to finish her appointment at the vision center, I went in search of cologne. It is now all locked up in a display cabinet. The brand I buy costs 8 bucks....don't laugh, it smells good. Next to the locked perfume cabinet are other items which cost 18 to 25 bucks and about the same size containers as the perfume... LOL After finding a worker... who was stocking product on shelves.. who's first response was "I don't work in this department", she finally went in search of a phone to page for whoever has the perfume key. Half an hour later, my mother was finished with her appointment and we left without any cologne. I ordered a case of it online from perfume.com. This place was nice and my go-to since moving to Columbia in 2001. Now it is a pit and a waste of time. read more

This Wal-mart store on Conley road, is becoming a disgrace. They never answer the telephone. They are extremely short staffed, and the managers/higher ups could care less. Two employees who were exemplary workers, have put their two week notice in, due to being worked like crazy. One of them was working customer service, AND was a cashier at the same time the other night, which is ridiculous. The employees are having to work like crazy and this is before the holidays even start! They are smart, they got out of there. Walmart thinks they are so slick, but business 101 tells you to respect your employees, and respect your customers. I suggest everyone go to Aldi. They are cheaper, and they care about their customers. Also, their money system was completely down yesterday, ALL DAY LONG. (Western union and Walmart to Walmart) No one cares what customers need. Wal mart on Broadway is NEVER dependable on their stocking. 1/2 their items on my list are not on the shelves. I have fallen due to medical issues and both times associates have been present and after looking at me they have returned to work. I do a lot of business in the photo department. It is NEVER open as designated. If open I have to search for 15-20 min for assistance. Hopefully, if I try one of the others I may get lucky. read more

Like most busy people, I love curbside pickup to save time. I will not be using again, as I've received bag salads that are all expired. I have tried to phone the "pick up" and customer service lines at this Walmart location, and no one will pick up. I even called Pharmacy, to see if they could transfer me to management, but their response was "yeah, I'm sorry, they're not good at picking up the phone over there". I don't blame her at all. Today's experience was a fail. I know you're busy. And these are tough times. But you've had months of practice. Yet... No one picked up the curbside service phone number. No one picked up the main store number. I waited for 15 minutes then flagged someone down (of the several who were not busy) to let them know. Then You tell me my order was already picked up by someone else. You didn't believe me at first when I said it wasn't me Until I showed you the order on my phone. I had to ask you to refill the order and you said to come back in an hour. I have a family and a schedule too. You wouldn't even consider delivering it even though you made the mistake. I called to cancel and demand a refund. At no time has anyone admitted a mistake or apologized. read more

The way they organize their market side (grocery side) makes it very easy to navigate and find what you need. This is a Wal-Mart. By now, you should know what that means. It's generally clean on the inside. However, this is the Wal-Mart that all the on-campus college students use. It is always busy ... always. I've gone in there (out of desperation, just being on that side of town, or coming from Sam's) late in the evening or even night time (after 8-9 pm) and it's still packed. The parking area is a labyrinth ... they have random green spaces that divert the outer drive lanes from getting to the exit lane and funnel you into a main shortcut lane in the center. That lane through the middle has a stop sign for every aisle it bisects. Meanwhile, people with fewer scruples will just blow past you across multiple lanes at a diagonal. If at all possible, use another Wal-Mart. I've driven all the way down to the Grindstone Wal-Mart just to avoid this one. read more

Never been the biggest fan of shopping in Walmart the prices and selection are pretty good though but now with grocery pick up definitely a little different. When I got off work I (had been running around all week,not really paying attention to the news) I decided I better run to Walmart, because we're pretty much out of bottled water, and I need to get milk since everybody in my house is a cereal addict. After grabbing things I definitely did not need, and of course the milk, I made my way over to the water aisle. I stopped in disbelief. There was no bottled water. WHAT?! I was confused, so I ask a customer "wow what do you think happened here?" and then giggled. That is when she informed me that there is a pending snow storm tonight through tomorrow. Oh. Crap. We need water. I only drink bottled water, and I drink on average 6-8 bottles a day. So I started looking for a worker ( yes I was going to be that lady, I had to be as embarrassing as it is/was) none to be found. I kept up the hunt and finally found a gentleman about 7 aisles over. He was putting stuff up on the shelf as I slugged over to him sheepishly. As I explained that I was sorry "to be that lady", and that I apparently am a water drinking enthusiasts, that clearly didn't watch the local weather reports,the gentlemen said "would you like me to look in the back for you, and if there are some cases back there how many would you need?" Soo nice that I didn't have to beg him or feel as if I may have been an inconvenience. He returned from the back with my four cases, and helped get them into my cart. So nice to know there are good employees out there that don't have to be told or asked to help the customer but in fact take initiative and do a wonderful job. Delivery service is HORRIBLE, Three deliveries and three fails! Delivered rotten fruit, half the items missing, and terrible customer service when trying to get a refund. OK, well to start, If you only want to find half your llist go here. They do not hire enough people to stock. I have gone in on days and the entire dog food shelf is decimated. For the last 3 months they have not stocked the essential oils...yea I know . I have been a person that does ordering and this is either laziness or a byproduct of corporate greed. DO NOT go here if you want a one stop...not many other places are better, however , I will supply pics of things like lettuce, green peppers, and other basics that are gone. Came here for an oil change.. They said it would be an hour but took close to two hours. They were clearly lacking in organization and teamwork. I reviewed before. I STILL think the cleaning is very good. They need a full time person in the jewelry department, especially during holidays. Most employees are very nice even though they appear "pooped" out. I have gotten on the intercom myself a couple of times in the paint and jewelry departments. This is the only walmart I go to because the folks are nice and I can find everything I want with no problem. I am with Aaron F., this WalMart is old, run down and a little dirty. Compared to the Grindstone Parkway location, this one is just not worth patronizing. Furthermore, I was in a bind and needed to have a battery in my car replaced. The sales clerk in the auto department was really impatient and distracted. He was downright RUDE to the people in front of me. When I returned for my car, he was arguing with one of the mechanics AND a customer--SIMULTANEOUSLY! Sam's Club is right next door and offers some auto services (Their hours aren't as flexible as WM, however) and they were MUCH nicer, more accommodating and not quite so dysfunctional. I give them two stars only because the location is convenient to I-70 and Highway 63. read more

This Wal-Mart is a flipping joke, there is an older woman with glasses that works in the electronics department and she is so rude! Went there 2 days ago to buy some school supplies and food and for my husband to buy a new cell phone. We grabbed a few supplies then headed to get the phone, online it shows the iPhone 6s was indeed available at this store, we even found a card to take up to the counter to buy said phone, the lady told us that they don't have that phone, she then grabbed the card and went to look for said phone, we told her we want AT&T towers for phone she asked again if it was Verizon or AT&T, I said it was for AT&T. She then brings said cell phone up, didn't scan the card but the device and told us it would be almost $500. We said that we were not paying that for a straight talk cell phone she it shows online that it was way way cheaper than that for $150. She then became rude and told us that she told us she didn't have one for that, so I asked her why is there cards out on the floor for the iPhone 6s and why does it say online available in store now? She rolled her eyes and said that she didn't know and how she is only one person and can't do it all. Before she "helped" us she assisted another man and there and we were in line behind this man, another man asked if he could get assistance in obtaining headphones and she mouthed off to him on how she is helping this other man, then it's us, then she will get around to helping him that he just needs to learn how to "wait his turn" and kept saying, " I'm only one person, I CANT help everyone, I can't do it all". The phone rang like crazy while we were there and she got attitude because it was ringing, refused to answer it. We didn't purchase anything from that store, we took our cart and placed it in the clothing area and left that store. We planned on spending at least $350 in that phone, phone card, school supplies and food. Called and talked to manager and he says he will look into it, how she wasn't trained to address customers like that, and how he knew exactly who I was talking about. So I took it as they have had problems with her before and if that is the case they should of fired her when they noticed that her actions have not changed since they addressed her the 1st time, but obviously they like losing money. We come to this Wal-Mart because it is closer to us from Hallsville, but here on out we will take our business to another one in Columbia. This is not the first time we have had issues with this store, and nothing has been done about the flat out disrespectful employees, we fully believe people and businesses deserve another chance, like going a different day of the week etc.. But this is getting old, out of the last 5 times we have been there 4/5 have been uncalled for by actions of employee's, you are there to work, to treat customers with up most respect, not to be rude, nor hateful or playing on cell phones or talking with other employees or customers catching up with one another. If you want to get paid to chit chat and stand around doing nothing but finger popping one another's rectum then find work elsewhere. read more
