The blueberry lemon blondie dessert was delicious! It had a great balance of sweet & fresh ingredients.

This place was a treat. The cocktails were great, place was modern and clean. Catfish sandwich on a biscuit was delicious with fresh fruit on the side. My husband has chicken fried chicken with greens. I had a taste and it was delicious. My only hesitation for 5 stars is the biscuit was tasty but re-warmed. Fresh would have made it 5 stars!

Awesome spot in Columbia with fantastic biscuits, overall great menu, cool space and just a few service issues. A bit more friendly / attentive and this place would be perfect. Nice text-based waiting system, inside and outside tables and didn't mention biscuits?

Love that they have outdoor seating and our dog can sit next to us. It has a small parking lot but as busy as this place is, we had to resort to street parking. The food is great, waitress was very attentive. Very nice.

Biscuits and sausage gravy with a fruit cup

Great breakfast this morning at Ozark Mountain! Our party of 2 was ready for their biscuits and sausage gravy, one order with scrambled eggs and the other with a fruit cup. The gravy was flavorful and although we added ground pepper, it really wasn't needed! The fruit cup was full of fresh, sweet strawberries, blueberries and red/green grapes! We are definitely set until the dinner hour! Service was attentive but not overly so. And despite a fair crowd, the noise level was super low! Can't wait to come back!

A trip to COMO cannot be complete, without a breakfast at Ozark Mountain Biscuit & Bar. I was in town for a family wedding, so it was a great excuse to pop in and enjoy a delicious breakfast. All my previous visits, I always ordered something with their famous, "biscuits". This visit, I changed things up and ordered pancakes with a side of bacon. The pancakes were a light golden color fluffy and came with pure maple syrup. They were equally as flavorful as the biscuits. So I'd recommend them, too. The side of bacon was three crispy strips. My choice of beverage was a simple cup of black coffee. Again, a great breakfast at OMB&B. Typically I would have enjoyed one of their Mimosa's or Bloody Mary's, but since I was going to a wedding reception later with an open bar, I resisted the temptation. Otherwise, I highly recommend, them both.

So good I returned! There's a small lot, also street parking nearby. Both visits no wait so that was a bonus. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. All of the food was very good. The standard breakfast, eggs were slightly over medium, but the sausage was very tasty, one of the better sausages. The potatoes looked over but tasted great. Very crispy. Their jams are great, get them! The chicken biscuit sandwich was great. I wasn't expecting the collard greens and gravy to be on the sandwich. It was good. Chicken very tasty. Well cooked. Definitely recommend!

Waitress was cool. Food: subpar, over salted, sausage was weird tasting, biscuit was dry, potatoes were booked pretty hard. I didn't even take my remainders to go. Coffee was also not great. Best part about this place was the beverage I had and the place is super clean, bright, and airy.

Stopped by for late lunch. Good food but it was just alright. I had the pork tenderloin on biscuit with mild Gouda grits. Overall lacked flavor.

The food is excellent. The chicken sandwich was perfect with zucchini pickles. My husband had a dish with gravy. Not the best.

First time adding it to my list of go backs, food was great, service was friendly and prompt. It gets busy so prepare in advance.

I couldn't have told you a single thing about this part of the country. But after one lunch at Beet Box, I'll be talking about Columbia for a long time. The Lamb & Eggs is an absolute masterpiece. On paper, it doesn't even sound like it should work. Then it shows up looking like a beautiful mess--a mishmash of flavors, textures, herbs, vegetables, creamy elements, perfectly fried eggs, and incredibly seasoned lamb. It feels like chaos... until you take the first bite. Then it all makes perfect sense. Every ingredient has a purpose, and somehow it all comes together in one of the most memorable dishes I've had in a very long time. As incredible as that bowl was, the Za'atar Fries with Harissa Mayo somehow stole the show. Crispy. Battered. Perfectly seasoned. Every single fry had that satisfying crunch on the outside while staying fluffy inside, and the harissa mayo was the perfect finishing touch. These aren't fries you order because you're looking to round out the meal. They're fries you'll be thinking about long after you leave. I came into Columbia knowing absolutely nothing about it. I left wondering how a place this good isn't on every food lover's radar. Beet Box isn't just a great lunch spot--it's a Godsend. Six stars...out of five!

Things started out well, the BF had a tasty Manhattan and I had a mocktail that was subtle and delicious, and not overpriced as mocktails often are. But alas. The house salads that we ordered were overdressed in a vinaigrette so acidic we couldn't finish them. And there wasn't much to them. Other than greens and fried shallots and pickled red onions, there was a tiny dusting of some finely grated cheese. And who needs two kinds of onions and nothing else on the salad? Then we each had a bowl of the matzo ball soup, which was ridiculous. Three matzo balls sitting in a quarter-inch of broth that was so unbelievably salty that we couldn't eat that either. We ended up asking for hot water to dilute the broth to a level of saltiness that was edible. The chicken was okay and the matzo balls were okay. A little gummy. But the broth was just awful. It all made me wonder if the chef had lost their sense of taste due to Covid or something. Seriously. I've had that happen to me a couple of times and all I could taste was really basic stuff like sour and salt. And our waitress was totally uninterested in trying to make our experience better. She wasn't rude, she was just indifferent to the fact that we'd been served two courses that we absolutely couldn't eat. Didn't offer us anything to compensate or even express any sympathy about it. We got out of there as fast as we could and made ourselves feel better with an Andy's frozen custard.
