Horrible service at the STAPLES location in Corpus Christi, Texas. They can never get an order correct. They are horrible at delivering an order. A young man by the name of Johnathan was in the electronics area and saved me. He noticed my dish soap was leaking on to the motorized cart I was riding and quickly stopped me to let me know. Our "one hour" estimate for our oil change took over two hours, no explanation. It's like they're on island time

I spoke with the employees here at this Walmart and they told me that the water machine is not working. The reason for why the machine is either turned off or not working is that the customer must boil the water before drinking it. The only issue I have with this is that the machine is made to filter water to make it drinkable. Most people use these machines to save money and reduce plastic waste in the environment. One of the department manager or support manager named Rudy agreed with me. As customer we are pretty much doing Walmart job for them we have to check our self out . Who wants to do all that shopping and than have to check out to after working all day . Imagine how difficult it is for elderly or handicapped Employee never know stuff or act like they don't cause they don't want to help. Never can answer question there always standing on phone texting or talking to there coworkers while your waiting cause they have to put in there code every time you by liquor and other item . Instead of getting something that we can scan our I'd our selves since they have us doing it all anyway we could scan or Swipe it or show it to camera our License so it verify our age and verify license is real instead having to wait for one person to help everyone. Sometime you barely move item and machine detect something than again you have wait for worker to verify the camera.There no carts half time usually in parking lots. Items are in wrong spot on shelf's. The fruit and vegetables and bread have mold on it so make sure to check it . My string was out date for two month was gross had call company get money back . The first time I ever came to this store a huge rat pass by the isle I was on I like to faint I am terrified of rodents .told a worker who acted like it was a normal thing ‍I have also noticed the greeter only checks certain people receipt I notice they do it for elderly and other. I am white they don't check mine but will for others that aren't. 4109 S Staples St, Corpus Christi, TX 78411 Fri 8/5 the wrong order delivered. I never got my items placed another order for 9pm delivery did not receive until 930 am the next day Sun 8/7 my order was supposed to be delivered between 12 & 1 pm I'm still waiting and have had to cancel plans. I have had a problem with 5 of my last 7 orders and with 17 orders in the last 30 days from this store. Each of these orders has not only inconvenienced me, I have wasted hours of my time waiting and communicating with support. I want to specifically call out the automotive department. Initially it was a simple tire patch but as they were pretty busy and we are on our way out of town after a week's vacation, I ended up needing to put it back on myself. The heat index was 120 and I'd already been out in the sun getting it off and wrangling the donut from the bottom middle section of the van and wasn't enjoying my second round. That's when a man, who's name I failed to grab came out of the garages with much more efficient tools than I keep in our van and made quick work of swapping out the tires! He saved my family and I so much time and exhaustion and I'm gonna remember this for a long time. Again, THANK YOU! And please ask around and find out who helped us. Unfortunately the Wal-Mart I live closest to is my least favorite Wal-Mart in the world. I'm not even going to start on how many times this Wal-Mart has frustrated me, but instead, I'll list the one good thing they've done. I bought a bike from them but returned it because it was too big, unstable, and difficult to ride on the poor excuse of a sidewalk that Corpus Christi has. Returning it was no problem and they gave me back all my cash. Thanks for operating like you're supposed to that one time, I didn't expect you all to be so competent. Also big props to the auto center that does oil changes and all that. They're laid back but always on top of their game and friendlier than any of the other workers there. I took my vehicle in for new tires. I'm here two weeks later because they stripped the lug nut lock key for my tires and I cannot remove the tires now! They didn't tell me they had stripped the lock, but in the comments put on that I stated the "Lock was damaged" beforehand. Cannot believe they couldn't just be honest when they first broke it. Now I have a flat tire and cannot leave their parking lot until I can get on the spare. I'm not looking for anything special, just a new key, or for them to remove the locks so I can get to my tires again. read more

I came here to use the Walmart 2 Walmart money transfer. The line was a little bit long but not too bad. The price was very reasonable, about 20% of what Western Union would charge. It was worth the wait. The employees were friendly, and one even stayed to help take care of the customers waiting in line instead of going to lunch. That was awesome. I did not shop in the store itself, but from what I saw the produce looked very fresh, the store looked clean and there were hardly any checkout lines. This is not a Walmart Supercenter review, rather it is a review for a particular employee. A number of times I've made late night runs to the electronic, tv, phone section. There is a woman there named Ann and she is so capable and kind! She takes me to the section I need to survey for whatever obscure thing I need. She KNOWS her section and is happy to share! She is quiet and kind, wants to help the customers who come her way, makes life easier by sharing. She has a lovely smile, professional and personable. Terrible customer service. Walmart is always the one store I feel I can count on and this time they have completely failed me. I went shopping for a coffee maker that was about $79 online and when I went in person to ask about it the lady that was "helping us" scanned the barcode of the item, scanned a new price and told us "now it's $99 online too." I was so upset because instead of helping us she went ahead and changed the price online for something higher than what was previously said online. I understand that in store the item was $99 but online was different. I don't understand why she had to be so rude and change it when she saw I was clearly interested in the item. It was busy yesterday when I made a quick trip in. I wanted to look at the Christmas merchandise that was marked down. Shelves were messy and sparse. Aisle had baskets full of merchandise that made it hard to get around. Now this sounds like a bad review but I am here to give a thumbs up to the employees. They were hustling. They were trying their best to get ahead of the game. They were putting out merchandise and straightening as fast as they could. I am writing this review to warn other seniors in my area about losing part of your groceries when checking out at the Wal-Mart at 4109 S Staples in Corpus Christi, Tx. I am a senior citizen and I always appreciate when store employees are helpful. But I am writing this review to report a checker at this Wal-Mart whose actions seemed intended to cause me to leave behind a portion of my groceries I had just paid for. My receipt information is this: 12-10-17 02:01:40. There was only one checker at this time. When I had paid for my groceries there were two central air filters that did not fit in a bag. As soon as I made my payment by credit card the checker, a young hispanic woman, handed me the receipt and one small bag of my bagged items and then immediately began scanning the items of the person behind me. She did not offer to help me get my bagged items or give me any time at all to get my bagged items. None. I was not slow in checking out, either. But by the time I had placed the two large air filters in my cart and was reaching for my bagged items. literally no more than ten seconds, I realized that the items I was looking at through the top of the bags on the little bag carousel were not mine but belonged to the person behind me. That is, this young woman checker had already placed items belonging to the person behind me in the bags facing me that should have held my items and did so so fast that they were already there by the time I placed the two larger items in my cart! I didn't take the bags but was just looking at what was in them and she snapped at me, "Those aren't yours." I asked where the rest of my groceries were and she very quickly swung the bag carousel around 180 degrees because the bags with my items in them were on her side of the carousel, not mine, and not where I could reach or see them. "Sorry." she said, and continued concentrating on the person behind me. I hope that someone with some kind of authority with Wal-Mart will do something to stop this young woman from causing any other seniors in this area that go to this store, and I'm telling everyone I know about this, from losing grocery items they have just paid for. I am livid about this and I intend to post this warning as many times as is necessary to get some kind of response that Wal-Mart gives a darn about their senior customers. Again, this happened 12-10-17 at 02:01:40 and there was only ONE checkout lane at the time. Check the video and you'll see what this young woman tried to do and had I not been very vigilant I would not have had all the items I had just paid for when I got home. It is obvious what this young woman tried to do. What is not obvious is whether or not Wal-Mart cares enough about seniors to do anything about it. read more
