Went into the Council Bluffs Walmart on May 6 at arounbd 2 or 3 pm. and needed some help in electronics. What I encountered was a overweight, rude, uncaring woman (she had face piercings) who wouldn't lift a finger to help me with straight talk. She said that she represented Verizon, and when I mentioned to her that Verizon had bought Straight Talk she still refused to help me. Low, class, lazy, and and ghetto. If you can. please shop elsewhere and avoid the likes of her. read more

THis particular Walmart rips you off so bad. Every time we go, we have to have someone go "check" on the price. Usually they just never come back. They have big signs for a price, then charge you a higher price at the register. Then they say they can't adjust the beer prices! THEN DON'T HAVE A HUGE SIGN SAYING IT'S A LOW PRICE WHEN YOU DON'T CHARGE THEM THAT! The makeup is always higher than the posted price, the produce is also always wrong. Placed 5 holds on my bank account, cancelled my orders and are now trying to avoid releasing my funds.

I tried to order a few items for delivery from the Walmart on 16th in CB for the last 2 days and every time I try to order something I get an email and text message saying order canceled return violations. I have never returned anything to walmart! I've called the customer service number who are idiots they told me they could not see anything on there end but they also notated in my account that it should not happen which makes no sense if I never did anything wrong! I did it again a little while ago once again it did it again I called customer service got an idiot on the phone who could not even speak English I asked for a supervisor put me on hold for 10 minutes and then hung up on me! Will never use Walmart online ever again! They can't even answer a simple question or spell an email correctly to put in their computers to find out what's wrong with your order! read more

During my visit today in the customer service area I watched some real racism/discrimination from an employee....these 2 young adults whom don't speak English and they have beautiful very dark skin and trying to return items. These items were clean, unused, perfect condition. But this employee, the second her eyes landed on these two the whole energy in the room changed... Her eyes squinted, and when they came up to the counter, all she was roll her eyes and just look at them, and then she looked at their things and said I can't return these. They've been used yet, they haven't been used... her name is Mel... and her attitude was disgusting enough but when she started acting the way she was with these other 2 it got worse. Mel hunny you should quit your job and maybe go to hell... apply at the local Walmart down there. read more

Good old Walmart. this Walmart just opened last week and you can definitely tell, in a good way. Everything is super organized, clean, and just new looking. The older woman who checked my wife and I out was a tad slow with ringing us up but I'm sure she'll get better with time and experience. The only bad things were the floors. They were really slippery so i can see someone who isn't expecting it, slipping and falling. Other than that, its just like any other Walmart, not super special about this one that sets it apart from any other. read more

I came here last minute to get scrubs for my clinical and when I wanted to try it on to make sure they fit, the dressing rooms were closed at 7pm. I asked one of the associates if someone can open the dressing room but he was admin that he couldn't because it was their policy. WHAT???!!! Seriously! I never ever had that experience from any other Walmart regardless of what state/ city it was in. I wasn't the only one upset about this as other customers dropped their clothes off a rack as soon as they found out they couldn't try it on. Reopen your fitting room!!! read more

This is a much less busy location than the other location in town. Speedy self-checkout doesn't usually take longer than a minute at most to get into. So to address the "People of Walmart" typical question, I haven't notice anything like that, just the average person from Council Bluffs. I would recommend using the Walmart Pay to speed up checkout and submit recipes to be compared with local advertised prices. I have saved dozens of dollars with the app. read more

Went to Walmart last night after movie night with the kids Wow what a mistake. We picked up all our stuff and went threw line 6 The check out guy was out there. When it was done in payed and my wife said let me see the receipt. The guy charged us for 5 gift cards we only had 3. We went to customer service the man and ladies there were great. But they needed a manager. After 40 minutes a manager showed up she was rude. She wouldn't let the employee or my wife explain what had happened. By this time I just wanted my money back. I can say my money is good anywhere. No one should have to put up with that kind of customer service. The only good thing about the whole trip was. When we left. read more

The new Walmart is quite, especially compared to the other one in Council Bluffs. I noticed many of the same faces from the other Walmart now working at this location. It's easy to navigate and like always, prices as hard to beat anywhere else. The location is literally a mile away from our house, which makes driving in a hurry convenient. One thing you'll notice that's new is the cosmetic counter now requires you to either pay for your cosmetic purchase there, of get a locking tin to carry items until you're ready for checkout. This was due to major theft at the other location. I guess it's cheaper to pay someone to man the station than it is to lose all that money. And who doesn't love another Redbox location? I've only been there a hand full a times, and each time, something has upset me. With the other location in Council Bluffs, it was always a game of chance with many things... you can 1. Expect to stand in line for quite a while 2. Deal with rude customers who park their cart in the middle of the aisle and won't move even when you say "excuse me." 3. Gamble on the chance of getting rotten produce 4. Deal with employees who don't know where anything is. I thought with the new Walmart opening, things would change. Nope. They still only have 4 checkers (super slllllloooooowwwww checkers) on a super busy Saturday afternoon. There's hardly anyone ever out on the actual floor helping guests. And to top it off, Walmart rolled out this huge nation-wide program to help consumers eat healthier food. You can see the little green man label next to healthier choices. This is coupled with insurance and consumers are given a card that they use in order to get reimbursed. Each time we've gone there, no one knows how to use the card, even the managers. Finally at this last trip, we went to customer service because i was sick of loosing this potential reimbursement for purposefully buying healthy food. They had no idea what it was again... then I asked to speak to a higher up manager We were basically told to come back when it wasn't as busy in order to speak to a manager. If there was a method to give a minus 10 I would bestow that on this location today. Went there to pick up a few needed items. Parked on the East side since the main entrance is close. Noticed a beautiful new Nissan Sentra and stopped to basically take a look. By the time I got to the main door, a young man named Mitchell approached me asking if I took photos of that vehicle. I told him no was just admiring the looks of the new car. I even went as far as showing him my phone app to verify the statement. This is where it got very stupid on his part. First off, I don't challenge easy. Next threats to keep me from entering the store were made. No sweat I told him at this point I didn't feel comfortable entering WalMart now. This is where words were exchanged. Not polite and to the point of a threat. Again I do not challenge easy. I then made the vow never to return to any WalMart. And this will be a statement that I will stand by. At my next stop I contacted the store and spoke to the asset manager and explained the incident. She apologized but damage had been done. This young man wasn't a manager as claimed and had absolutely no authority to approach me with "his concerns ". My recommendations do not, repeat do not shop, trade or even use there parking lot to turn around in. This is a toxic environment and needs to be avoided. And just plain go elsewhere. Went into Walmart to do my grocery shopping and replace a battery to my watch. I received nothing but a bunch of lip service, and lazy associates, and the customer service was absolutely terrible. I could not replace the battery because of the covid 19 penademic. Yet when entering Walmart, their was not any sanitizer to put onto your hands, and customers including associates and management was not practicing the social distancing that the CDC is recommending. The greeters have attitudes, and the associates are rude. I went to a different Walmart and the jewelry department was closed. So I ended up not getting anything from Walmart. It is my opinion that Walmart does not care about there customers at all. They are too big, and have plenty of money and it does not matter what I think or anyone else. I have made the decision to stay out of Walmart and go to other places that will appreciate my business. As far as getting a battery for my watch, I went online and ordered a battery for my watch and the tool kit to change the battery for my watch. I will only go into Walmart now if what I need is not available anywhere else except for Walmart, is when I will go to Walmart. Otherwise, I will go to Amazon online. Walmart, is a sour place to shop, if you need assistance, you will play hell getting it. Why they simply don't care, they waste people's time, and what's more is if you buy an electronics from them, and you use it and something malfunctions, and you take the item back, and it is past 30 days or 90 days they will not honor the item. So because of that I have taken my shopping needs to amazon, where they will honor there products, and they make sure I am happy with my product. Walmarts associates are smart asses, and do not care about their customers. My advice to others is stay away from Walmart, buy your products from other reputable businesses, where they will appreciate your business, and leave a Walmart alone, the you cannot find the item you're looking for, get online and order the product from Amazon. Walmart is not worth ruining your day and getting aggravated, and wasting gas and your time by going to Walmart. read more

I went to this store at 6:45 AM to beat the crowds. I was there to buy something out of electronics. An employee walked by and called for assistance at 6:55 AM. At about 7:15 someone decided to show their presence and help! Seems to me the employees at this store could care less if they worked or not. Complete failure at Customer Service!!!!! read more
