Pickup and delivery services are always days late, and no one answers the phone to inform how long the delay will be.

This is just what you would expect--a bargain bin store. Pretty large, plenty to dig through…read more I like that they have 6-8 bins of food items that are kept separate, and usually a few of cleaning materials as well. They lay out glasswear on tables for easy looking also and usually have a pretty good selection of miscellaneous glasses/vases/etc. There is a second half of the store that is not bins, but still bargains for food items, housewares, furniture, supplements, and more. This side is not always a discount at all compared to other places, but you can still often find items that are a good deal - just be wary of expiration dates on foods. Last time I went the restrooms were out of order, but usually this is not the case. Overall I love coming here for the hunt--it's not the cleanest but also not dirty compared to others I've been in. Always crowded when I go, and I always find something(s) from each side to take home with me!

Been here a few times and never had a poor experience. I usually stay away from the bins here…read morebecause there are some dedicated hardcore customers so I kinda figure all the good stuff is gone by the time I get there. Love that you get new items at discounted rates. Using the app to find the current price can be a little annoying since you're scanning almost every item you look at, but if that's how they lower prices I can overlook the inconvenience. Some days it can be overstimulating if they are busy, but that's just how it goes. My number one tip is asking for them to open an item before bringing it home. Make sure you use the outlets to test electric items. Some boxes are handled rough and can be damaged, always better to double check before purchasing.

The Blackstone District, as a neighborhood, is a nice little area of businesses, eateries, and…read morebars. I love that everything is so close together, so that it is easily walkable once you find a parking place (which speaking of that, can be a little hard to come upon a parking spot!) But once you DO find a parking spot or get dropped off, there are so many places to go and eat and drink and hang out. Our favorites are Nite Owl, Crescent Moon, First Round, Scriptown, and Mula. I do think there is a premium on food and drinks, when it comes to Blackstone. Could you get a cheaper drink elsewhere in town? I think so, but you're paying that extra cost, I think, to be in a district with lots of different places to check out instead of staying in one place with one menu. I have a few friends who live in the Blackstone District, and that's also not an inexpensive housing area to look at when house hunting. But they do love the easy access to a lot of businesses. Right now it's HEAVILY under construction and it can be very hard to find a place to park and then walk to your destination. Some places have even CLOSED because of the construction messing up the access to their buildings, unfortunately. Overall, I think Blackstone is a nice little spot with some good businesses. I hope it doesn't go the way of Midtown Crossing where they added a bunch of business and then it kind of went downhill and places ended up closed (aside from the construction woes) and it ends up kind of a ghost town. But for now, Blackstone is a hip little area to check out, definitely!

I love this local pocket of businesses on Farnam. There is something for everyone from hair salons,…read moreto yoga, to coffee, bars and restaurants, games and fun. If you're looking for something to any night of the week (even mondays) Blackstone is where to go. They recently had a construction project hurt a lot of business so it's more important than ever now to get out and support all these awesome beloved businesses.

I don't shop at this JC Penney's too often, and this experience is kind of why…read more We went to the shoe department, after stopping by Sephora because I was with my wife. We get to the shoe department and there were a few other customers that were being helped. My wife grabbed two shoes that she wanted sizes for, I grabbed one, and the lady in front of us grabbed two. For the other customer, and my wife and I, they didn't have any of the sizes for any of the five pairs of shoes. Statistically speaking, there probably should have been at least one size that they had, but didn't. I thought this was kind of ridiculous. So its safe to say, that when I'm looking for shoes, I probably won't be going to JC Penney's.

Went shopping at JCP today, had a $10 off coupon, I noticed a 5% off for Veterans, so I asked the…read moreyoung man if I could use that coupon too as I was a Veteran. I looked at me like I had 2 heads and no way was I a Veteran. I told him that I would never lie about such an honor and asked if he wanted to see my DD214 aka discharge papers, he said yes then had no idea what it was. His attitude towards me was not very inviting. If you are going to offer such a promotion then management should teach cashiers what to look for so as not to questions those of us that have served. I hope he has some type of knowledge on what Memorial Day is really about and not just a big party day. This would not stop me from going back and I get that there are people who pretend to be Veterans, but I was not one of them and don't care to be treated as such.

This big shop has been a fixture of Omaha's Old Market for many years…read more It's a beautiful space filled with amazing leather and fur products. I have to admit that the prices here are out of my normal range for jackets, mittens, etc. I don't think they are probably overpriced, it's just that things of these materials and quality are expensive. I came here to get some sheepskin slippers. At $119 they are among the lowest-priced items here. Still - to me, they are worth it. I know they will last a long time and are soooo cozy and comfortable. Slippers from other places might cost half as much, but these slippers are way more than twice as nice. The online selection is broader than the in-store stock. The slippers are available in other colors on the website but only the natural color is in the store. I admit, when I got these slippers home, there was a seam in the right slipper that rubbed against my little toe. So I did go back to exchange them and the staff were fantastic about making this exchange super easy, and they made sure the new slippers didn't have that defect. They encouraged me to bring these ones back if I was less than 100% satisfied. I am wearing them now and I can verify I am 100% satisfied.

Highly recommend, but I own 6 of their coats so I am biased. Classic and timeless. Ditch the black…read morepuffers and get an American made Overland coat. Life Changing.
