What I like the most about this store is the really friendly staff. I've always had really good experiences with the customer service desk when I make a return. As of December 2021, supply chain has been an issue and some of the items are pretty gutted. Like juice boxes, crackers, chips. A little known secret is that the Sam's brand chocolates are really really good. Try the 60% dark chocolate salted caramel bars. You will find them in the candy aisle on the very top shelf. The pharmacy department is really good and has lots of vitamins. I also love the cosmetics department because they have tons of varieties of brands and colors. Located right off of Dallas Highway comma it's super convenient to get to and there's a Zaxby's and a Martin's as well as House of Lu restaurant quite nearby. read more

Placed an online order that was supposed to be delivered same day. 4 days later they still haven't delivered and will not refund my money. This place is terrible and the app is useless. This is not the first time I have had problems with this store but it is going to be the last because I'd rather pay higher prices than have my money stolen. To have a live person in customer service tell me "I'm sorry, my hands are tied". All because the driver marked the order delayed. Our shopping experience is fine as long as we do not shop at night, like 8pm or after. They take all of its cashiers off line! No matter how full your shopping cart is you're on your own! One time recently about 10:45pm they started turning the lights off in some areas of the store! RUDE! So not only are we doing the employees job checking our own groceries but they turning the lights off to let the customers know "Its time to go!" Everyone doesn't like checking out their own groceries. I don't! Its stressful. ALL of the stores should keep at least ONE cashiers on for the customers! its common courtesy. This happened last night and I'm still just so annoyed. The home owner placed this order yesterday and the delivery person decided this was the best place to stack the order. So shis is not the main door. This is in front of my door (I live down stairs), and I understand maybe not wanting to go up the stoop of steps to place all this on the front porch bc it's heavy, but wtf!? My review is STRICTLY for the bakery! Lol. I've gotten two, cupcake cakes for my daughter's birthday from this location and they were cute and tasty. The first time I did a Minnie Mouse cake for her first birthday and the second time, I did an ice cream cone cake. Both were beautifully decorated and taste great. Both times, however, there was no one there to help immediately in the bakery section so I can to find someone over in deli and they are almost always busy. And there seems to always be confusion with getting my order, but I guess because that person may not be bakery but nonetheless I'm always satisfied with the end result. read more

While walking in a couple with a fake service dog walked in. Last time I checked this is a grocery store and also serves food. Real service dogs are allowed, but not your friend the dog just because you didn't want to leave it at home. While walking around purchasing my items, I made it to the frozen food section and started walking out into the isle and their dog was walking and pooping down the main isle. I found an employee to notify them an he put a yellow cone at it so people wouldn't step in it. I told him what direction they were headed, he went after them. 20 minutes later while at the register I get a text for more groceries from my wife. I walk down to the pastry isle and had to go around the sine pile of poop that was there 20 minutes ago only smaller due to people walking thru it and tracking it thru the store. People, leave your dog at home unless it is a need, and ADA clearly defines what a service dog is. This is not the place for dog shit just because your dog barks when you leave your house. read more

Truthfully I hate going here, sadly it's the closest place to the house to get groceries. I'll never understand the Walmart theory of having 20+ registers and only having 3 open. It makes no logical sense. You may as well take out the rest of the registers and put some food carts up while you wait in line. After what felt like forever I got my stuff rang up and selected "cash back" on my transaction. I told the cashier I wanted small bills for the $20 I was getting back. She replied okay. She then proceeded to open the register grab a $20 bill and slam close the drawer. I told her I needed change, her response "not my problem, nothing I can do about it". Now I used to work at this Walmart store years back and I know there are things you can do but ultimately I was irritated at this point and decided to walk off instead of making it a bigger deal. Realistically driving to Publix or Kroger's is worth the time to avoid the typical Walmart problems. read more

Pick up here is horrible! Kiosk doesn't work, and then cars drive around while you are trying to login. Guess what? They give them their food first even though they don't check in! This Walmart is very clean and most of the time we are well taken care of. Today on the other hand was a different story. A deli employee made some inappropriate comments about my husband to another customer. When we went to report the problem, the manager failed to understand why we were so upset and threatened to kick us out of The Walmart if we didn't go on. Best Wal-Mart I've ever been to. I've been to Wal-Mart's all across the country and even to one's in other countries. I feel lucky that this one is just right around the corner from me. It's one of the cleanest stores anywhere. I'm surprised at the other poster about the price dispute. Anytime I've ever had a price come up wrong, they always go out of their way to fix it instantly. I've also returned many items with no problems. I also use the pharmacy a lot. There is one person in there that knows me by name everytime I arrive. I even once saw her someplace else and she recognized me and said "hi". From talking to other friends, she also knows them by name on sight. Makes this store seem not so much like a giant chain and I like that. I buy all my major electronics here. I'm a "techie" person and there is one guy in electronics that knows more than any other salesperson I've ever met. I asked him about his background (expecting it to be computers or something) and he told me that he had no technical training, but when he was assigned to this department he spent all his spare time online doing research. He was recently promoted to a manager (not surprising), so I have to seek him out for big purchases to get his advice. It's also in a very safe area. I go there all the time at 3:00am and always feel safe. And unlike some WalMart stores in other parts of town, I don't get the "bag search" when I leave this store. The auto department has done several small jobs (replacing light bulbs, etc.) for free or for just $1. It's where I get my oil changed because I can drop off my car, do some shopping and it's done by the time I finish. The one thing I don't like is the SubWay in the store. While their food is just fine, the back dining area is dimly lit with no windows. Feels like a dungeon with their dark colors. read more

literally the worst Walmart i've ever been to. Called to check in on one of my orders, and my phone was ringing of 30 min straight. Decided to start heading to the Walmart while my phone was ringing. When I finally pulled up, someone answered asking how they could help and when I started talking , they hung the phone up on me. When I walked inside to get some help, the people I spoke to didn't have an answer for me so instead of directing me to someone who did, kept insisting that they would know nothing about it. If you want good customer service then I would avoid this store at all cost. Tried to exchange a game unopened for a different game and was told since it wasn't the same price that they couldn't do it. Hubby went to this Walmart a little after 7am this morning in a rush to pick something up and the doors were LOCKED!!! There were people inside (employees apparently) but the doors were locked with buggies were pushed up against them at the main entrance and the garden center. *Management Failure* I first must say 100% supporter of Walmart and its staff. Walmart generally speaking is great. But individuals who display quality service should be recognized and those who fail especially in management should be pointed out. A manager name ZACHARY has the worst and most awful temperament of any manager in any profession I've ever dealt with. My family probably spends thousands of dollars a year year at Walmart, primarily at this location and when you try to make a return he makes it so inconvenient as well as just having a nasty attitude, when you see him on the floor and ask for assistance he keeps walking Breathes hard looks away and points where the item is you're asking about. And has the attitude that you're bothering him. I've had problems with him multiple times. Ordered 1 hour prints (stays open til 9) and the only person who knows how to work the machine left at 6, I ordered at 7 , no one called and let me know there was a issue and I waisted a 30 min trip when I arrived at 8 they told me someone could come in at 9 and help me if I'd like to wait , the one staff member that I talked to was nice but really! I went to this Wal Mart today because I figured it may be bigger/ better than the one on hwy 41. I was wrong. My biggest gripe was that I purchased water by the gallon, it was $.82 @ or according to the price on the shelf $2.28 for a case of three. I got to the register and found out the bar code on the case doesn't ring up so they must ring them up separately defeating the point of purchasing the case which brought the price to a lower price. I brought it to the attention of the CSM walking by and he didn't care to change it either. Rip Off! read more

I stopped in about 8 AM for some bottled water and sodas. I returned to my car to find a pick up truck parked next to me. The truck had fishing rods in the back with rod tips, lures, and hooks hanging 2 feet over the tailgate. I found a store employee and reported the unsafe condition. The matter got his full attention. Grocery pickup has become a disaster. There was a time you waited no longer than 15 minutes for groceries that was said to be ready for pickup. However, now the wait can be from 1 hour to 2 hours. This Walmart in Dallas, GA stays crowded but it is one of the cleanest. I had one bad encounter there Tasha in apparel. Rude, nasty attitude and will use profanity at you. I was asking about the coats for little girls and asked if they had more sizes in the back and she gave me the nastiest look and told me what I see is what they have in a very hateful and nasty tone. Now I didn't say anything because I was too busy replaying my own words trying to ensure I had not said something to offend her. I checked my memory bank to see if I knew her because I didn't understand, but nope I was just asking for customer service. Apparently I had offended Tasha because that clearly is not her job! as a Walmart associate. She is Rude and has no business working in customer service!! But the highlight and the reason I didn't file a complaint against her was the lady in cosmetics, Elaine! She was great! Very Helpful and even smiled and helped me find what I needed! Thanks Elaine! This review is only directed towards the fitting rooms at this Walmart location. All other service that I encountered was fine. And I normally don't put reviews on here that are negative. In fact I haven't made a review in a long time. But I just had to express my opinion on this one. I was at Walmart getting an oil change and the lady told me that it would be about an hour and a half because there was a few cars in front of me. Which was understandable. No problem there. So I figured I would do a little shopping. I needed some cheap clothes for the vacation I was about to go on so I went to the women's clothing department and then to the fitting room. Now, I understand that Walmart doesn't always have the most cheerful employees so I wasn't really expecting a warm " hello! How are you? Do you need a fitting room?" When I walked up there was one woman talking to another about when she could have her break. Completely ignoring the fact that I was there clearly needing help with a room. So I waited until there conversation was over. And still nobody was even close to asking me if I needed anything. So I just walked towards a room. The lady then said "go in that one" pointing to the one I was clearly walking towards. Whatever. So I went inside. Tried on a few things. Picked out what I wanted and what I didn't want. Then walked out. I asked the same lady if I could give her the ones that I didn't want. Because I just assumed that's the right thing to do rather than putting them back. I've worked in retail before and that is what we told our customers. Plus the experience that I have had in the past with other fitting rooms at other places. Anyway, she said nothing and held out her hand. I then said "yes?" Kinda wanting this woman to at least look at me. She said nothing. So I handed her the clothes and looked at her annoyed. She still did not look up at me. I guess you would have had to be there to understand how incredibly rude this lady was to me for no reason. The look on her face clearly indicated that she was not happy to be there. Again I want to explain that I had perfectly fine customer service everywhere else in Walmart. Maybe 4 stars on that.
