WOW. SHAME ON YOU!!! On this cold, wintry mix Halloween I decided to pass out a bunch of these ponchos clearly priced for $.50 on CLEARANCE. Imagine my surprise & disgust when cashier & "customer service" both told me there was nothing they could do about the fact that although they were marked $.50, they rang up for twice that, they couldn't sell it to me for clearly ADVERTISED price because they have no way of proving that's how much it is because someone FAILED to place sticker on individual packet (there are obviously hundreds in the dilapidated cardboard box) WTAH. I've tried calling Walmart 4 times to get ahold of anyone in electronics and still nothing then I called the operator and instead of finding someone to help me she transfers me to electronics to not have anyone answer again. Piss off Walmart read more

If you wanted to be treated like garbage make sure to stop by the electronics department and visit Chasity. No smile no eye contact and ask me what I wanted as if I was bothering her. When challenged on her lack of a greeting or smile she put on a fake sarcastic smile and continue to speak to me as a customer as if I was a piece of garbage. Typical trailer trash Walmart employee. She didn't give a rat ass about the customer and it was clear that I was bothering her. I should have known better to even go to Walmart. This store was the closest one to my work area and to my hotel. Some of the workers are very rude, but it's a fully stocked, clean, well kept store, nevertheless. Besides the general/obvious merchandise, you can still find Cubs and Bears gear, here. The many times I came here I didn't wait lone to checkout. This Walmart is just a little difficult to get to since it sits down a hill off the main road. There are two ways to get there and neither way is marked well. However, the store itself is a clean store and well stocked with merchandise. In some spots it seems overcrowded with merchandise (on the grocery side), but it's navigable throughout the rest of it. The signs for the aisles were not in the correct location when we went in, so we ended up having to search for the particular items we wanted instead of being lead directly to them. Staff is plentiful, but seemed to always look the other way or put their head down when customers came relatively close. The door greeter on the other hand was positively bubbly though! We went straight for the self checkout since we didn't have all that many items, so I can't comment on the number of lanes open. read more

Twice now I have come to the walmart to get an oil change. Twice they have taken over an hour and a half for a simple change. Back home at my local store it takes no more than 20 minutes. Not only this but they aren't qualified to know about the car. They told me I needed a special oil which I've never needed before, and then proceeded to not know how to reset my car to warn me to get another oil change. My advice, do NOT bring your car to this walmart. read more

3 times I went to this Walmart with my children and they were accused of stealing. And each time they didn't have anything on them but their cell phones. And one time I was grabbed by a greeter and started going through my bags. They need to stop going after the people that aren't stealing. It's not stealing until you try to walk out of the store with an unpaid item. Sucks that this is the only Walmart in town. read more

I don't like going to this Walmart usually except in a pinch. Today I had to go because I needed to return some items. Well the service counter person was rude and accused me of stealing because I didn't have the receipt. I wasn't planning on returning the items but realized I bought duplicates. I had to explain that to her THEEE times plus she kept checking the packaging and then finally opened the boxes realizing I hadn't even opened them. Won't be going back there. read more

This has to be the worst WalMart I have ever shopped in! The supervisors are as rude to the customers as they are the employees from the floor to the registers! Why would the Store Manager Wally I was told his name is let this behavior go on? I over heard a girl I know now her name to be Amanda treating another employee Cassie whom was being very helpful to me, with such disrespect while I was trying clothes on! If that were me I would of quit my job on the spot, she kept her composure while the other girl unreasonably yelled at her which even sounded threatening to me of her job. My question would be should she have locked me in the changing room to make this girl happy? Someone should tell her that doesn't make a good supervisor abusing people & her authority! I'm done shopping at Walmart in Dubuque until they clean house I don't come shopping to listen to grown adults act like spoiled , rude children. read more

Stopped in Sunday evening to pick up a couple items and out of almost 30 checkout lines only 2 were open with at least 3 to 5 people waiting in each line. Happens to me every time I go here...which is not very often!! read more
