Typical WalMart...not good...... A girl inside was riding a bicycle and almost decapitated me....I went to complain to a cashier who did not care and she said there was no one she could call about the incident. Now, A big negative : No One There Washes Hands so the entire store is contaminated by personal hygene emitted micro organisms: YES...this is an issue for a place selling food.....from the Men's Room....hot water never comes out....automatic water faucets gives a small fraction of the water to wash and completely sanitize hands and so does the automatic soap dispenser. Walmart just cares about not spending money on water...cares not about the spread of germs out of the restrooms. WATER IS CHEAP...WalMart is cheaper.....and dirty dirty dirty. , Do not touch anything ! Health departmants require 130 degree hand washing water for at least 20 seconds....how can 4 seconds of room temp water clean germs ! Another biggie: Employees not trained....I got spoiled chicken tenders that an employee found on a shelf in an isle somewhere out of temp and it was expired because a typical WalMart employee took it back to the meat case for resale.....shame on me.....should have gone to Aldi. read more

I placed my online grocery order, over 100.00 order. When I arrived at the pickup time they said I had already picked up. They gave my whole order to someone else. Because of the pandemic I did not want to go in store so I was told to wait and a mgr would come out to help, I waited almost two hours, an attendant stopped by at one point and said mgr is still coming. I finally went in and they said no mgr is available. I had to leave without my order and with no resolution. So frustrating, I'm sure it will be equally frustrating to get my refund. Wasted time, money and energy. Plenty of other options for groceries. read more

They say insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Well, that's exactly how one would describe my experience with Walmart. Insanity. It's not that I go there much, but every now and again I find myself having the need to enter into the land of "rollback pricing". And when this happens, I always say to myself, "this time will be different...this time will be different" and it usually is different. Different in a "I didn't think this could suck anymore than last time but..." or "which circle of Hell am I in this time" kind of way. And it doesn't matter which particular store I go to; it's all the same scary bad dream that I'm stuck in with no "kick". On my latest visit, I entered repeating my Walmart mantra in my head: "this time will be different...this time will be different" and for a millisecond, I thought it would be. Until I got a few feet in the door and was hit with a lingering rancid BO of... something. I never actually saw the beast (it had to be a beast...that smell was not human nor of this world) and that probably saved me at least a couple of therapy visits but whatever was there definitely left an impression. I imagine the beast to be a large hairy/scaly/fleshy combo creature that feeds on bologna and motor oil. And it has a mullet. And now I'm wondering if there is an invisible portal that opens up in Walmart stores that allow putrid, sweaty, lunch meat smelling Wal-Beasts to bounce back and forth from their Wal-Demon world to ours without ever being seen (only smelled) as they come to stock up on supplies for their impending attack to extinguish the human race. We won't see them coming, but they were here all along. And for those that survive "the war", they will tell their grandchildren that the fall of mankind all started at Walmart. Okay, this review just took a really weird turn...I digress. So, after clearing the Wal-Beast fog, I grabbed my cart and set off on my mission to find poorly made yet inexpensive products, but after going too far to turn back and yet not far enough to have actually found anything I needed, my cart made a weird battle cry type of noise and decided to wage war against me. That damn buggy fought me and it fought me hard. I wanted to go left, it would turn right. I wanted to go forward, it wouldn't budge. And so it went until I finally gave up and left it in the middle of the store for the Wal-Beasts to use on their next visit. Feeling beaten and a bit nauseous from the initial gas attack, I decided to call it a day and attempted to retreat while still whole. That endeavor proved to be easier thought than done as on my way to the exit I managed to trip, stumble and get knocked around by either items in the aisle, runaway kids, disgruntled employees, invisible Wal-Beasts or all of the above. I finally made it out and back to my car with absolutely nothing to show for my trip down the rabbit hole...well, nothing except maybe my life. I only hope that next time I have the urge to do some big box discount shopping, I'll remember my classier friends at Tarjay and finally put an end to this insanity. read more

Yeah, it's Walmart, so you go in there with a certain set of expectations. However, even as far as Walmarts go, this one is exceptionally bad. You can even see it in the very design of the parking lot. It is designed in such a way that if you want to enter or leave the store at a streetlight, you MUST use the driveway at the very front of the store. This means that when you come AND when you leave, you have to drive on the driveway that separates the store from the parking lot, which means you are waiting for shoppers to cross the street both when you come and when you leave. There is no other way to enter or exit the parking lot. This fairly well sums up the entire experience of shopping at this Walmart. It seems like they are constantly out of inventory on many products. They also seem to be lacking some of the better products in other Walmart stores, which leads me to believe that this particular location is targeting one of the lesser six demographic groups that Walmart has identified and is trying to cater to. A quick glance at the customers would indicate that Walmart is correct. It is very common to see people with small children at all hours of the night, people who can't figure out how to use the self checkouts, and people fumbling around trying to figure out which items they are and are not allowed to purchase using food stamps. One time I needed an item at this Walmart but I couldn't find a complete one, all of the boxes had been opened and were missing parts. I asked an associate if there were any unopened boxes in the back. I'm not sure if this employee was accurate or not, but he told me that this location has the highest incidence of open boxes of any Walmart in the country. I have no real reason to doubt him. Depending on where you live, it is very much worth it to drive a little more and visit a better location. If you live to the north, the location on Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road is much nicer. To the west, Windward Parkway is leaps and bounds better. To the south or east you may be out of luck, though I would personally make the drive all the way down to Perimeter to avoid shopping at this location. It's that frustrating. read more

Either lacking the particular items or took you forever to find the supplies.Go to Office Depot or staples..It will make your life easier and happier. I spent 1.5hr getting my oil changed and tires rotated at the tire center. Before its taken avg 45mins for basic oil change. I give them 3 stars cause the techs are nice and apologetic for the wait times and it's always fun to people watch at Walmart. read more

Waiting in sporting goods again. I know what to expect but the store is close. There is about a 75% chance no one will show up even after calling the store (while in sporting goods waiting) 3 times. With this location being on Pleasant Hill, the traffic in and out is always ridiculous. But this is probably one of the few decent Wal-Marts I have ever been to. The parking is not usually a problem for me because I don't mind walking anyway. You can't really expect the best of the best, considering that it is Wal-Mart. Checkouts are always going to be long so I always use the self checkouts which helps cut down the wait time. I must say that this one isn't as ghetto as all of the other ones I have visited. Extremely disappointed with Walmart. Every shipping experience has been an issue but this time I used the pickup service. I decided to order my son's Christmas tree while in Mississippi during Thanksgiving. The idea was for me to be able pickup the tree while returning home. After a 5 hour drive, I get to Walmart and the tree is not even there. The associates were nice with the exception of one in the garden center. I had no intention of coming back out after a long drive so the pickup department manager canceled the order for me and I went to the garden center to find another tree... well the tree was stacked too high for anyone to reach without a lift. Instead of the cashier calling for assistance in the garden center, she said her line was backed up and everyone was in lunch. That was not going to work for me so I went to Customer Service and asked the manager if he could radio assistance in the garden center. He was nice and did just that. I went back to the garden center to wait for no one to show up. When I did go to the register to checkout, they couldn't accept cards because of system failure and the register didn't have cash in it. I have experienced the system failure twice before at this location. You can have an A plus staff but if you don't provide them with reliable equipment, inventory, and adequate staffing for the holidays, both consumer and staff suffer. read more

This Walmart is HORRIBLE I mean all Walmart's are hectic, never no parking, rude staff, everything's always unorganized. But this one I have never had a normal trip.. I ordered a phone online and chose to pick it up in store they didn't scan the IME so the phone was unable to be activated, I ended up returning the phone and having to do it all over again and instead have the phone shipped to my home. The customer service lady was super rude I asked a simple question and she kept telling me "I AM NOT SPEAKING TO YOU I AM SPEAKING TO THE EMPLOYEE" but at the end of it she didn't even solve the problem the electronics manager ended up helping me and telling me I'm better off returning it because it will be a lot simpler.. my husband also got into a very bad accident driving near this Walmart someone tried cutting him off to get into the Walmart parking lot and smashed his car severely I thank God he is okay, but the people who go into this Walmart are a little bit off! This Wal-Mart is very close to my home, but I avoid it like the plague. This Wal-Mart is always trashed and the shelves are usually empty. They never have the items that go there for. There are ALWAYS screaming children and alarms going off. The customer service is TERRIBLE. The check out lines are ALWAYS extremely long and heaven forbid that you need to return something at the customer service. You might want to bring a snack because you are gonna be there for a while. There are associates wandering around who appear to be doing nothing instead of opening up another register.The store is dirty and the shelves are disheveled. A convenient location if you are around Duluth. If you are in a rush, go elsewhere. Prepare to have 10 - 15 minutes for check out, regardless of cashier or self checkout counter. Shelves can be half empty so don't expect your usual items are always available. I guess this is the standard practice for the big boxes to reduce the inventory cost and restock frequencies these days. Check item prices carefully AT THE cashier / self checkout counter. You do not want to wait another 20 - 25 minutes at the customer service counter because of wrong price at the check out, which seems not to be an isolated problem. I was upset in a few occasions when this happened, especially when I have refrigerated / frozen groceries. If you need to go to restrooms while shopping, go to the one in the back near the TV / electronics. The front restrooms by the check out are bad and best to avoid. The one on the back is better, more tolerable. The check out and customer service experience left something to be desired. Target is way better on this. read more

This Walmart is always busy unless its after midnight. Personally, I never had a problem with this store. But, one thing I noticed is the ridiculously long lines. Self-checkout is almost a must when I go here. If they actually organize their workers and open more lanes, lines will not be so long. read more

Oh my goodness 3week saga for tires. They cannot order tires you have to to .com then wait a week. 3 tires enter bit where is the 4th? Come back friday... not there friday.. but will be here by monday. Come back monday.. wait 45 minutes to see a person from the department. "You canceled your order wednesday!" I have been going to this autocenter for about 2 years to get my oil changed and haven't had any problems. Basically in and out in like an hour. That did not happen the last time we were there. I needed new tires so I called to make sure they had 4 of the tires I wanted. They told me they had 7 of them. So I go in to get my tires changed and the guy working with me said that their inventory doesn't update regularly and that he would check personally to make sure they had 4 of my tires. He comes back and says they do have enough. I go grocery shopping for about an hour and a half and they still haven't called to tell me my car is done when before they told me it would take at most 45 minutes. When I ask if my car is almost done, they tell me that in fact they don't have 4 of the tires that I need. I'm really mad at this point. The manager tells me that he can drive to Tucker to pick up the remaining tires that I need but I'm not going to sit there and wait with groceries for all of this to happen. The manager also told me that I could go trade out my produce for fresh if I wanted. No, I'm not going to spend more of my time doing what I already did because your employees messed up. I don't do well in these situations so I call my husband to come help. He speaks with the manager of the autocenter who is not very helpful but tells us that he will upgrade our tires for the same price as the ones we picked previously. My husband then asks to speak with the store manager because the store manager needs to know how bad the service is in his auto center. The store manager barely speaks English which makes the situation even worse and reflects badly on the store. He isn't very helpful either but at least he knows how upset we were. We ended up having to come back the next weekend to get the tires put on at the rate they promised and got a free oil change but we still won't be back for auto purposes. read more

Decent Walmart . I just moved to Georgia from NJ so any Walmart here has been an upgrade to the disasters that are Walmart up North. The customer service is really quite nice. Purchased a dog tag for only $6 at a machine located at the entrance of the grocery side of this Walmart. Such a great purchase considering places like petsmart charge so much more. the management at this location is terrible. Im amazed people who hate customers as much as theses managers do, how did they gravitate toward customer service industry. They will prevent you from going over their head to corporate. They lie to your face. Managers will stand around talking to employees while all the self service lines are broken and no registers open. Drive to the Krogers or Publics. Be prepared they will not hear your problems only tell you we will look into it. read more

This is the WORST Walmart in the metro Atlanta area! The management sucks. The store is under stocked. The cashiers lack work ethic. I saw mold on some fruit in the produce. The cash counters may be plentiful, but why have them if only two cashiers are stationed- and the two that are working provide slow service. Workers are outside smoking- harming customers with second hand smoke- they should have a area where the employees smoke & not harm customers. The gossiping ladies in the deli department over cook the food- it's all so pathetic! I am over this Walmart. I will just have to pay a bit more a Kroger & Target. read more
