I got to Walmart at 5:30; specifically to pick up a rotisserie chicken, but there were none available. It's the heat of dinner time you would think they would have rotisserie chickens available through the store; I was able to find a cold, rotisserie chicken in the refrigerator, so I grabbed it. Most Walmarts would give you a 50% off discount because number one it's cold and number two it was cooked several hours ago. I mentioned this to the cash register and she shrugged her shoulders and said well there's no discount there's no sticker on it. Instead of being helpful, she just shrugs her shoulders. I would not recommend this place.

This is a fine Walmart superstore. Good location, fair prices, and decent customer service. Came here after voting right across the street on Halloween 2024 and had a good time shopping. 4 solid stars!

Too crowded...disorganized, a few good things to choose from. The first aid section by the pharmacy was severely lacking. There were barely any Band-Aids and what little stock they had was full of damaged packaging, stained, sticky packaging, opened and "sampled" boxes, and even boxes slit open with knives. I had to carefully pick through the lot to find two boxes that weren't too far gone. The women's bathroom was disgusting. No need to get into detail there. They do have a fun selection of Funko Pops and Handmade By Robots, so that's good.

They don't even sell Walls. It's false advertising.

Wellmart is where you buy a well so that you can put someone down it and then tell it to put the lotion on its skin or it gets the hose again. This massive and extremely busy NE Atlanta store was a very useful stop for me but the lines were so damn long and service wasn't great at all. I got asked to display my receipt on the way out and they perused it for far too long. Incompetence or suspicion, not sure which. The shelves were a little barren of some of the things I needed, and parking was tricky. I didn't know Atlanta area people were so angry and competitive. I try to avoid going to Walmarts and this particular store is a good example of why.

Wow, Walmart has stepped up their retrieval service. Very cool to scan your email and have your item come out.

Target, you've just been one-upped! This Wal-Mart has been one I've been to many times, since my parents live not too far away from it. It's right across the street from Shorty Howell Park (ah the memories of many a Cross-Country Meet there in High School back before it was paved), and is located off Pleasant Hill Rd, about 2 miles off the 85 Pleasant Hill Rd exit (although you're better off taking the Steve Reynolds Blvd exit). There is a lot of parking, but getting out can be a hassle due to how they arranged the entrances and exits. More than likely, if you visit, it WILL be packed. I dropped by this Wal-Mart to pick-up a gift item I ordered online for our annual Christmas "Adopt-a-Family" routine. One of the families we adopted (typically it's 2) was a single mom and her 7 year old son. He had asked for many things, but one of them was a Hotwheels Storage Case for his Hotwheels. I researched a couple places but Wal-Mart had one I liked and was only $10, so I ended up getting him that plus a cool Hotwheels Stunt Track to go with it. During the online process, I had the item shipped to this store location, and got both texts and an email letting me know when it would arrive. My son tagged along with me, and was complaining the entire time about being hungry and wanting Subway. My recent memory served to tell me that this Wal-Mart would probably have a Subway in it, since most of them do these days. When we walked in, we were greeted with a nice, clean Subway on the right hand side. It actually looked cleaner than most stand alone Subway's I've been to. It made him a happy camper, and certainly made my day a heck of a lot more better. That was until I went to retrieve my package. I was headed to find customer service, and was looking at my phone to see about my package location. It mentioned a "Pickup Tower". As I was walking, I looked at my son, and asked him what the heck that was ... and as the words came out of my mouth, I saw this behemoth Orange Tower behind us. I almost said out loud, "WTF" because it looked like some massive space ship. We walked on over, and I could not believe how freaking easy it was to pull up my email, and scan the barcode. BAM, the space ship goes into motion and this elevator shaft brings down package 1. I grabbed it, excited to see it go for number 2. My son was impressed too. We just stood there in awe as package 2 came out. I almost wanted to buy something online right there, just to see it work again. And thanks to that, my day went from "eh" to "winning". Funny thing is, I could care less about anything else going on in that store that day. They had Subway and they had the Pick-up Tower. Now if only this Wal-Mart could cure a broken heart ... Make this a pick-up spot for your online Wal-Mart purchases for sure!

Overall My…read moreexperience at H Mart in Duluth was genuinely delightful. It's bright, spacious, well stocked, and has the kind of energy and selection that makes you want to wander the aisles "just for a minute" (and leave with three bags). Selection and Variety The selection is excellent, especially for fresh produce, fruit, and Korean and Asian grocery staples. There's also a lot of diversity in products and shoppers, and the store clearly serves a high demand area, which helps keep the variety strong and restocking frequent. Prices and Deals We loved the prices, especially the number of discounted items. There were plenty of sale items that felt seasonal or promotion based, and the discounts on produce and fruit in particular were great. Samples and Food Experience There were enough food samples to make the trip extra fun and easy to discover new items. It adds to the overall experience and makes the store feel lively and welcoming. Store Layout and Cleanliness It's easy to find things, the store is clean, and the space is big enough that it doesn't feel cramped even with high traffic. The overall atmosphere is brighter and larger than many stores we're used to. Service and Atmosphere Service was good, and the atmosphere felt upbeat and energetic. The large local Korean population seems to support a strong, well curated H Mart experience here, and it shows. Personal Note For transparency, we live in Washington state, so visiting this H Mart was a refreshing experience, especially because of the scale, selection, and overall vibe. Would we return? Absolutely. We'll come back again whenever we visit Georgia.

Not at any other H-Marts, but at this Duluth location, things have just gone awry in the past few years. For one, they allow religious harassment at their door. I really don't appreciate being flagged down and chased by Bible "advocates" outside their door. I find that really intrusive, and bordering harassment. One time, this bawdy Korean lady chased me toward my car with this religious pamphlet...when I clearly told her "NO"...not interested. I mean, what more can I do or say without being chased like that??? So rude! I can't believe H-Mart is letting these folks harass their customers like this. Not all the people that shop at this mart is a Catholic, or Christian, or religious at all. Even if they are, they STILL may not wish to be harassed like this. For some folks, religion (or spirituality) is a personal thing. Religious harassment is so offputting...and inappropriate? I mean, this is a supermarket!!! It's just beyond the pale. This right here made me drop 2 stars off the bat! Then their weird food court hours. I mean, most food courts are up and running from 11 am on...but here, they start opening past 12 pm. I think on the day I was there, they were opening the food court closer to 12:30! That's just not acceptable. Lastly, I find their layout extremely awkward and uncomfortable to manuever around.

After thawing them in the refrigerator for a day, I immediately noticed several red flags: Appearance: They were perfectly round and completely flat like coins. They were also missing the small white side muscle (abductor muscle) that natural scallops always have. Texture & Aroma: The texture was much tougher than usual, and the smell was noticeably different from fresh/frozen scallops. Despite my doubts, I rinsed and stir-fried them with prawns. Once cooked and tasted, it was undeniably not scallop. It was processed fish cake (surimi) made from mixed fish with scallop flavoring--essentially imitation scallop, similar to imitation crab meat. Despite being an imitation product, the package was labeled as real scallop (가리비 관자) at $14.99 per pound (totaling 1.16 lbs for $17.39). Mega Mart sold an entirely different, lower-value imitation product under the label and price of genuine scallop. I sincerely hope this was an isolated mislabeling mistake by the seafood department rather than a systemic issue. Accurate food labeling is critical, and customers deserve to get what they pay for.

"Namdaemun" immediately made us think of the famous open market area in Korea and we assumed the store would be Korean focused. In reality, the selection and overall vibe leaned overwhelmingly Hispanic and Latin American, with very few Korean items. Name vs Reality The name feels misleading. We came in expecting a Korean grocery market concept, but most of the products (including the bakery) were predominantly Hispanic. The shopper base also didn't feel very Korean, so it didn't come across as a Korean market experience. Selection If you are looking for Hispanic, Latin American, South American, or Central American groceries and produce, this place may actually be a solid option. It just doesn't match what the "Namdaemun" name implies. Atmosphere and Cleanliness The atmosphere felt more like a discount store than a bright, modern market. The store felt more cramped and less clean, open, and bright compared to places like H Mart or Mega Mart. Visually, it also leaned more flashy and cluttered rather than clean and curated. Who I would recommend it for I'd recommend this market for shoppers specifically seeking Hispanic or Latin American grocery items and produce. If you're coming in expecting a Korean market experience because of the name, you may be disappointed like we were. Would we return? Probably not for what we were originally looking for, but I can see it being useful for people shopping for Latin American ingredients and products.
