We're new to the area and stopped by this Wal-Mart on a Monday after work. It was also pay day so naturally the parking lot was packed, but the store didn't seem as crazy as the parking lot. We only visited the grocery side of the store to stock up for the week. It was fairly clean and organized, which I appreciate! My main complaint is the lack of options and variety. The aisles also aren't as clearly marked as I'd like. Overall, we'll be going back because it's the closest to us and it wasn't a terrible experience. I'll update if anything changes. read more

I'm not fond of this Wal-Mart location. It's easy to get overstimulated when there is no sense of direction in various aspects, a large part of that being the staff. There are many machines roaming around, stocking during peak hours and what seems as a lack of care. I did encounter an employee on the floor who was helpful in assisting with a damaged popcorn box as I was concerned with it still being on the shelf. Fatima at self-checkout is also helpful and kind. Other than that I am concerned with the amount of employees on their phones and not looking up to greet customers, offer help/support or appear as present. Speaking of greeting, the front door needs to be more consistent with customer facing, customer engagement and if checking receipts is a policy, it needs to apply to all and not just some or when personal conversations aren't taking place. read more

Store 500 @4:20 PM June 3, 2026, register 33 supervisor was Lydia. I was at self checkout, and I was rudely accosted by a young man who was anti-black he was supposed to be taken care of 4 registers, that needed attention and he stood there watching me the entire time I checked out, I asked him did he have a problem and he said no I asked for another supervisor cruel tongue with with glasses. He said he was supposed to be standing there watching me not taking care of the other registers, he was assigned the entire time I laughed and asked for a new supervisor I got hateful Lydia. Lydia said that she was only worried about me videotaping the staff. The Walmart staff lies to the people in the store saying you are not allowed to videotape them. The only people that could lie to you like that are policeman the Walmart staff they want their privacy and I understand that, but if you want your privacy, please find another job if you do not want to be in customer service so if they lie to you and say, please do not videotape you are allowed to videotape because it is your first amendment, right yes Walmart is on private grounds, but the first amendment is still the first amendment. Lydia was unprofessional. two males were also unprofessional, and WILL help her LIE but what showed the most was they were anti-black this male watched me check out on number 33 at 4:20 PM, June 3, 2026, like he was going to tackle me if I was a criminal which made me feel very scared and very nervous as if he had a gun. Recently visited the walmart on Woodrow Bean with my toddler granddaughter. My granddaughter was in the cart and we were shopping in the pet supply' area when an employee rammed our cart and caused my granddaughter to hurt her back . The employee said sorry i did not know that you were going to pullout in front of me. Several customers that were right there told her that i was stopped and looking at products long before she blindsided our cart. She just stood there and finally mumbled something that i assume was sorry and went about her business. The customers in the area were concerned ( too bad she was not ) and offered to support us if we wanted to pursue this incident with someone in authority if there is anyone in authority. I purchased the road hazard warranty there and that is a complete ripoff, I have had several issues with this service and not once have I had these issues repaired at the store, so I asked for a refund of this fraudulent warranty and Walmart refused to refund my money. If you are thinking about buying a smart tv from here, DON'T. My husband and I bought a 75" Samsung smart tv and we were so excited. Got home and mounted the tv up just to find the whole screen was completely damaged. We took the tv back and unfortunately they didn't have the same one we wanted. So we compromised for a 75" Hisense smart tv, got all the way home and that one was defective as well. We returned that one same day as well. I spoke to a employee who was very rude and saying all the TVs are new and so are the boxes and XYZ, but from the looks of it all the boxes look tore up from the floor up as if someone dragged the TVs all up and down every aisle of Walmart. Have been to this Walmart everyday but Sunday and I am pleased. For some "good" reason this Walmart seems cleaner, their staff is very nice and attentive which is awesome but I cannot deny it is odd and I am not complaining. Their garden section seems to nor be well stocked yet you will still find anything you need. Waiting to check out takes 5 minutes tops. I do wish they had better fresh salads selection but for being a Walmart I definitely give it a 5 out of 5. read more

Never purchase a tire inflator from Walmart. I used it once and it did not work. I had my receipt and I had purchased a warranty for the device, however, Walmart refused to honor the receipt as well as the department that regards the service warranty. My receipt was past the 90 day limit which I understand but the service warranty that I had purchased was well within the time frame to have been reimbursed. I was very upset as I had my receipt along with the original packaging and the item of purchase. I never thought that I would encounter such a blatant disregard of Walmart not honoring their own policy. The issue was somewhat resolved with a gift card, however, the gift card did not include the purchase of the warranty. I am totally disgusted with Walmart and I will contact their corporate office regarding the disregard of their own service warranty policy. They don't even deserve one star. I honestly don'I really don't understand why employees are allowed to be on their phone while working. I needed some help and saw an employee in between aisles on his phone; so I apologized for interrupting him before asking him for help.. and trust me I wasn't being rude.. I've worked retail before so I understand customers can be rude. But he literally just blank stared me and walked right off slowly while still being on his phone. I'm wondering if we have to be pushy to get retail employees to help recently. Like I get it; you want to go home, or you get along with the management. I don't need to tell you about Walmart's prices or products they carry. You've been, you've seen the commercials. You know what's happening in here. So I come to this Walmart for two specific reasons. 1. Oreos. As a former Pricing Coordinator that had to travel weekly from store to store verifying prices of competitor's, there are certain product's prices that are engrained into my brain. And it's not just their everyday prices that are engrained into my brain, but also their average sale prices and how often they go on sale (price checking became very tedious after awhile). Among these products are milk, bread, ice cream, wine, eggs, most Lay's products, and OREOS! Everyday prices for Oreos between Walmart and Albertsons are virtually the same (we're talking a penny to two penny difference), but Oreos go on sale at Walmart much more often and for a much lower price. I pretty much can stock pile up a months worth of Oreos for the price they're dishing them out. 2. People of Walmart. I have missed the "People of Walmart". Walmarts are just not the hangout on the Westside or Eastside. But this Walmart, this Walmart right here...this Walmart right here house some of the most fascinating characters I've ever seen. There was a time before Walmart that the Northeast was the booming side of town, but this ever-expanding city made it's way to the city limits. From that point on this Walmart was the place to be, the place to be seen. People actually dress up to come to this Walmart...I'm talking heels for ladies and slacks for the fellas. Luckily, the city has recently regained interest in the Northeast and revitalization and inner-expansion will be taking place over the next few years, but for now I will enjoy the lady wearing bunny slippers with jeans and a picachu hat. Just going to quickly rattle off the deets you really want about this Walmart... Service sucks. You'll never get a smile. It's impossible to find someone to help you. Always packed. Rather disorganized. Sloooooooooow lines. Everyone I know from high school runs into me here (note to self: always look your best at this Walmart). I've shopped here quite a few times during my visits to El Paso and it's been okay. They have really good prices, and you can find almost anything you would possibly need. They have a pretty good grocery section as well, but the lettuce and salad can be a bit expensive. My only concern is the checkout lines. I've gone a few times and the lines were horrible. They didn't look so bad, but they just took forever to get through. There were a lot of people in the express lines that had way too many items, which bothers me a bit. Bought an Xbox live card ($60) and the store never activated it. Obviously I couldn't tell it didn't work until I tried using it. When I took it back with evidence that they had not activated it, I was told that they did not care and they wouldn't do anything about it. Talked to several employees (a couple were actually trying to help), managers, and supervisors, ALL USELESS. I visit this store a lot, being that it's closest to where I live, but most times I wish I had more options. Just walking in the door is annoying. You have a gauntlet of employees at times and not one of them can send a greeting your way. Getting paid to just stand around and look at their phones I guess. Most of the employees and even managers here are very unapproachable, they usually just ignore you even if you obviously look like you need help. If you do decide to "harass" one of them for help locating an object then you better watch out for the evil eye you get because you tore them away from their precious stocking. The majority of the time they have no idea what you're asking for anyway, so you're better off just looking around for yourself. Most of the self check out employees are rude. You're bothering them if they have to come over to check an ID for anything, you know, do their job. There's one guy in particular that will walk over to put in his code and walk away, ignoring you the whole time, even when you say hi or thank you. Great job! The bathrooms are always trashed, feces spread on the walls or toilets most times. I know that most Walmarts are a hit and miss with decency. I am usually able to find what I need at this location, but I must comment on the lack of knowledge by the pharmacy associates during two visits. Nothing peeves me more than for a sales associate or other representative of a business to say 'I don't know', and then fail to ask a co-worker for the answer. I have been to the pharmacy here on two occasions, and during the initial turn-in of the prescription, was told that certain information from the insurance company was needed. When I asked the question 'does your system have the ability to look up that data', I receive responses from 'yes, it can', to 'yes it should'. During my last trip to fill a prescription, the pharmacy associate initially said 'no, we can't pull up that information'. When I stated that the information was pulled up on their system during my last visit, he replied 'oh, you know, I'm new here so let me ask another person'. I wound up spending 2 hours with a back-and-forth at this Walmart location waiting for one simple medication to be filled. And this was late in the evening with an almost empty store. I had to go back to the window four separate times. As I kept walking back-and-forth to the pharmacy from the food or other section, I wondered if I was possibly the subject of a John Quinones WWYD segment. I will never again use this particular Walmart pharmacy. When I have experiences like this, I think nostalgically about how this country of ours used to thrive on excellence, and doing our best. They are so rude specially the fat ladies. I asked one of them that was taking a tape from a table if they have pink wipes all she said was "what you see there is all they have". She couldn't get up to show me where they were thing is since I'm short I couldn't see them had to ask a customer to help me grab them once I had found them. Then while grabbing things from my cart my blueberries felt off all over the floor and another fat lady came to ask me if I could pick them up. Really!! You want me to do your job. We already scan our own products what's next to put things on shelves so they can get fatter. I actually think this is a decent Walmart. We had really nice Walmarts in the Northwest, and this one is right up there with them. Yes, the customer service is usually bad, but that's because the people have a sh** job. Once you get the girls laughing they treat you great. I agree about the checkout lines. They are mismanaged. I just always buy my stuff in the electronic department. This is the nicest Walmart in El Paso. It's nicer than the Westside Target. Do NOT waste your time in the Westside Walmart, take the drive over to the Northeast and shop here. read more

Very rude people here, the workers will either just point you in a direction or they flat out do not know. Had to find my baking materials and the worker who was assigned to that area pretty much ignored me after I had asked her if there was any Candy Melts. Parking is horrible be careful there are plenty crazy chihuahua license plates that don't' follow the signs. And a Mexican flicked me and my son off after stopping at the stop sign. Very rude. Service isn't the greatest at Wal-Mart stores, but this one has employees who aren't friendly in general. This is a busy store, you're often taking turns walking through an area to get by. Employees here have seemed to never give a mutual "excuse me" in these situations, or even give eye-contact with a friendly smile. One female employee coming the opposite direction as I was going in a small space didn't even attempt to act like she would step aside while I walked through first. Instead she bulldozed her way through, making ME stand aside and IGNORED me when I said politely, "Sorry, excuse me." I'm not saying I need to be treated better than the store employees, but being treated in a less polite way than if we were two people squeezing through the same place?? Very rude. The pharmacy deserves it's own review. Wow. If you want to be treated like just another number, wait for days for a prescription, and have a hard copy of your prescription LOST, go here. The worst Walmart I have ever visited. The pharmacist and cashiers at this store are rude and refuse to call supervisors to resolve issues. When I called for a store manager I waited 15 minutes only to learn there was not one in the store. The jewelry manager came out to see me and agreed that The pharmaceutical employees were making rules up on their own, rather than following standard procedures most Walmarts support. As a couponer, I have complained more than ever getting a good or even a decent service from them. I have complained to their store managers, and their customer service managers, and preaching to coorporate of how screwed up this store is management and their service. Why does their service matter, just shop and go, right? Wrong... when you coupon at stores like these you want to be able to pay the least amount out of pocket... not here. They will make up stupid rules like, "you can't use that coupon here" or the famous "you didn't get what it shows on the coupon". Whoever is hiring these employees should get a thorough evaluation because this Walmart store is supposed to be the closest store to shop at for me which distance should be upmost convenience. I had a customer service manager give me a false name while walking away from me and muttering something that was supposed to help my shopping trip. Rude. All around rude, filthy, disrespectful, and discourteous. I can understand that most of the population is hispanic, but when a situation between a CSM and a customer escalades to where the CSM doesn't like the customer... do not gather 4 other cashiers around you and have them stare down a customer while talking in spanish! I know they weren't talking about the price of the Polly Pocket toy or how many ounces the body wash had. No, I know retail etiquette and this store has none. Overall, I rather spend the gas to travel to the Gateway Walmart or even to Sunland as a nice road trip away from the stupid excuse of a store to be called a Walmart. Apparently this is the place to be in El Paso. Seriously. The parking lot is always full, no matter what time of day. I'm not a huge fan of Wal-Mart, but especially this Wal-Mart. I always find it in a constant state of disarray. Items in their cosmetic section have been torn open and have obviously been used, or are missing. Customer service is...meh. I love this walmart in general. This review is for the service center. We ordered tires with the promise that they could be put on the next day at 10:30. So we went in at that time and the tires were not in yet. They said they would call when they were in and that we could get the tires on right away. So 1:30 rolls around and we call them. Go figure, they are in! But now there is going to be a 3 hour wait for us to get our tires on. My husband goes in and explains what he was told and they still won't let him get them on. So he had to pick them up and go else where. Stay away. They obviously have no concept of customer service! read more

Wal-Mart Grocery Pickup at Transmountain is great. I am temporary physically disabled and cannot walk in the stores. Carts are not always available and they are not made for tall people. So I decided to try pick up. Omg - I got everything on my list and I have been there more than once. They coordinate this so well, the cold stuff is cold. Rebeca is the one that has helped me each time and maybe this rating is because of her but it is perfect for me and I have some my independence back which is great for th self-esteem and recovery. This service is perfect for anyone who has a tight schedule. It keeps you from overspending and impulse buys. You can create a grocery list. I add things to my cart, then when I am ready to pick up, I don't have to worry that I forgot something. read more

The you check outs are never open and I was told by one employee of store that they could not have them open cause of a problem with theft on them. Is dirty, merchandise is never organized. It's Walmart. What else do you expect? This location seems to be cleaner and more updated than the Mesa store. I stay away from the Mesa store, crowds are bigger and traffic is worse. This location is located near a lot of food places such as Taco Bell, Applebees, Denny's and many more. Parking seems to be readily available without walking to the end of the parking lot. One thing they have over the Mesa store is that there are more cashiers that work at this store. That itself is unusual for a Walmart. read more

I went to get a pick up, the guy told me to get it from the customer service and talked to the lady/ manager about the order said she will look to the back... Nothing, then she tried looking through 3 storage where they kept the pick ups and she said i couldnt find it but then another assiocate came to help told her about the order then he said he will check it in the computer for the order number after that the lady said maybe its at the photo shop and i repeatedly told them the guy told me to pick it up at the customer service and finally the lady came and apologize about it and got my order all because of that associate. This is the worse but glad she found my order. That associate could've just look up the damn order number and this whole problem wouldn't be a problem! Ugh! read more

The Super Walmart on Trans Mt. has the worst service ever starting with the Store Manager, Laura. I had an issue and tried to speak with her on a professional level and she was unhelpful, rude, and demeaning. The co-manager was no better. They need to learn their policies and be more willing and able to assist customers versus turning them away. Sam Walton would be highly disappointed to see who they are promoting into leadership roles. I tried calling their main office to file a complaint, but no response once the call was transferred. Totally disappointing, because I actually used to like Walmart. Oh well...Target here I come. read more
