Several restaurants include Cork 1794, Chipotle, Jimmy John's, Pinkberry, Icing on the Lake, and Bar Ronin. Other businesses include banks, a physical therapist, and a gym. A few storefronts were empty, and a large empty space was fenced off in the parking lot, but overall the buildings looked nice. I visited this mall to eat at the restaurant Cork 1794, which I highly recommend. I easily found a parking spot in the lot outside, and the area was safe and clean.

Ross buys overproduced and unsold merchandise from manufacturers at a discount. Typical merchandise includes clothing, footwear, linens, home decor, beauty products, housewares, etcetera. When I was walking around the store, I noticed that the racks and shelves were full of miscellaneous merchandise. Especially for clothing, customers must really sift through the racks to find what they like. I selected a bath mat for $7 and a jar of fig preserves for $4. Both of these products had prices that were significantly lower than what other retailers would charge. The cashier interacted with me in a very friendly manner. Overall, Ross is not one of my favorite stores, but I like to shop here occasionally to find bargains.

They give you a ticket with a bar code where you can use any scanner while you shop in the store to get the status of your oil change (such as in the bay being worked on). But one of the best things about going to Erie is picking up things they have that we haven't gotten yet. Put in an order for Vernors and had to go pick it up. Of course, I bypassed their curbside pickup, which is very convenient especially when you're trying to avoid going into stores. And Pennsylvania may not have the mask mandate that we do in NY or they just don't enforce it because there were wayyyyyy too many people inside not wearing masks. But I digress. Ended up picking up my pop and also a bunch of little things we don't have like these store brand personal pan frozen pizzas, some really cool wing sauces I haven't seen before. Some potato chips I've never seen before, I think one of them was Frank's Hot sauce chips. And a couple of mixes and spices. They're a lot cheaper in Erie than in WNY. Was in Erie Pa on Mother's Day and we decided to stop at the Mill Creek Mall. I purchased two pair…read moreof slacks and we drove the 2 hours home. I put the pants in my closet pleased I found a pair for a specila occasion on Weds the 15th. Reached into the closet for those pants and discovered the ink security tag was still on them! I was furious! I get mistakes happen, but darn it!! I just hung up with Justin the Sales Manager (after getting bounced to two other departments) who sounded like he was 17 years old, had marbles in his mouth and a sinus infection as well. I explained what happened and he asked me to bring them back. I again stated I was 2 hours away from his store and an hour to the nearest Macys from my home. After a number of "ummms" he offered 25 Macys bucks for his store and that was the best he could do. I wasn't looking for anything outrageous - a gift card to compensate for my time and gas....no he couldn't do anything else. Not impressed with my first time at a Macy's - definately my last!!
