Absolutely terrible. Lines are ALWAYS long and no one bothers to add a line or atleast call someone in to help out. And then the store pickup thing, you set it for a specific time and sometimes i have to wait at least an hour and a half to get what i need. Please do better. read more

We are leaving from dropping off my brother at college and we got a flat tire. We already put on the donut ourselves but still have a 3 hour drive home and would like to be safe. This auto center closes at 7pm we got there at 6:50pm and explained we need a tire, we could even put it on. Basically we were told no sorry it's too late they need to close!?? So we have to drive home unsafe on a donut and they were completely unwilling to help, no empathy. We have a full family in the car. The lack of car or even want to quick offer a solution (all other places were closed we checked) is ridiculous. Shame on this place it's disgusting. read more

First of all, Walmart going to all automated checkouts is BS. I don't get paid to bag my own groceries. And I'm not getting any discounts. This location decided it needed to renovate. However, they thought it a great idea to do so while the store is open. Meaning, tons of isles blocked tons of things moved constantly people in carts in the way. Couldn't they have just closed for that? Oh, and they attempted to fix the parking lot. They only paved portions of it. It is a nightmare of potholes and cracks. Do better Walmart. read more

We drive to the other side of town for weekly groceries at Walmart rather than shop at 13th ave Walmart. I feel for the manager because the customers are so horrible. They spray paint the isles, steal right in front of you and make a mess. How do the employees keep up? I dont feel safe there, so we don't shop there anymore. read more

So...this is not the Walmart to go to if you want to stroll leisurely. This is the Walmart to go to if you want to run in and grab something fast and run out. This is not a very clean Walmart. If you're catching Covid somewhere in Fargo, it'll likely be here. I say that because mask enforcement is sporadic here and staff rarely have the mask over there face properly (i.e. covering nose and mouth). Additionally, it is a heavily trafficked Walmart (it's in the middle of the Fargo area). The shelves need to be rezoned better. Management needs to really get on top of some of the workers -- clearly things are not being organized, fixed up, or cleaned. It's sad to see this place go down. However, with all that said, it still is a Walmart and has the necessities you need. P.S. Social distancing is definitely not happening here. The lines can get bad, space can't happen, so people start bunching up. read more

This place is down right embarrassing. I was there on December 4th, 2021 and we were I mean digging through the tops of the shelves where the excess was stored and I legit had to climb up a few shelves to get what I needed, only to find out it was opened. I was immediately irritated and I left. Now I ride the city bus and so we walked over to the bus shelter and my 5 year old daughter screamed bloody murder! I asked what in the world was going on? She was totally freaked out because....The ground was saturated in blood, so was the entire bench, all the windows, there were bloody socks there and the packaging to a machete. I called the city who wasn't concerned so I then called police who came out to investigate it. read more

There was not a single cart available in the entire store. They were all outside. Yet they can have 2-3 people "guarding" the doors. I'm guessing they were originally there to maintain social distancing and making sure people had on their masks.....now they are just out there to visit with each other or play on their cell phones! Maybe they could go in and work at a checkout for customers or stock shelves or better yet ...CLEAN! This is the worst Walmart! Bathrooms are NASTY. This was the only stall that was decent enough to walk into. Anything gross you can imagine was in the bathroom. Clogged toilet, no TP, urine and feces places they shouldn't be. No paper towels. Does anyone clean it??? I got my one item I came for and left. read more

A super-Walmart, complete with a large grocery section equal to the rest of the Home/Pharmacy section of the Walmart on the other side. It's pretty good, although some of the fruit you have to be careful of... a lot of people handling means a lot of bruising and aging of the vegetables and the fruit. The prices here are somewhat reasonable, though you have to check - a $10 bag of chocolate here is only $7 at Target. The lot's pretty darned big. But at least the cashiers were friendly, greeters were out, and lots of the lanes were open. read more

After getting home, I discovered a $.70 difference on my receipt from the sign posted in the produce department. My bad, I decided, and vowed to be more careful next time. Two weeks later, buying the same item again, the sign was still stating the lower price but self-checkout again rang the same higher price. I reported it to the CSM at the self-checkouts and she seemed to say she would report it. The next week, same price on the sign and same higher price at the register. I went back to the Produce Stocker and explained the problem and got a non-committal reaction. One week later - - SAME SITUATION. I am done shopping at this store. I was a proud Walmart employee for 9 years, part of that time in this very store. There are many things that can go wrong by accident, but willful mis-signage over this many weeks after the discrepancy has been brought to the attention of multiple people is more than I will stand for. Everytime my husband and i go shopping at the Walmart on 13th all the shelves are completely empty. Always lines piling up and only 2 registers are open and the self checkouts are always full and alot of the self checkouts don't take cash. Also, the restrooms are super unsanitary. No one flushes the toilets and last time I went into the restroom someone pooped on the floor in 1 of the stalls. Please hire more cashiers and open more registers in order to reduce lines and so customers don't have to wait to check out. Plus stock shelves whenever the shelves are almost empty. Also, clean the bathrooms. No one likes seeing dirty toilets that haven't been flushed and mop the floors. read more

When Wal mart first came to Fargo I was the 23rd employee hired to set and open the store. I was proud to work there and so were 95% of the associates that worked there. We took pride in helping customers and "zoning" at the end of the night making sure it was ready to open in the morning. Now I am totally embarrassed to say I ever worked there. Most people I know call it the Ghetto Walmart. Unless I know I can get in and out of there in a very quick trip I will go to Target to get what I need. I MIGHT go to 52nd store to get what I need but not always. You go in now and shelves look like they haven't been stocked in years. Automotive and Stationary being some of the worst. I was in today to buy Clear Anerican water and as in the past multiple trips the shelves are mostly empty. Looking underneath the racking there are dozens and dozens of bottles and even garbage behind them. Even just trying to find people to actually help find any products that speak English or even care to help is a challenge. I am actually embarrassed to say I gave 8 1/2 years of working to that place. read more

This Walmarts cashiers think they deserve 15 and hour or more in pay they can't even do simple math I swear I had a return because it was the wrong product that was in the box the total that was going to be given to me was 69.85 I told them I have .15 so they can just give me a dollar back the cashier says ok hold on because that will make his drawer short I told ok don't close your drawer so you can keep the change and just give me a dollar he said ok next thing I know he closed his drawer and proceeded to give me .85 in nickels just nickels and I told again to keep the .85 and I was going to give him the .15 then he tells me why didn't you tell me when the drawer was open he's a dumb sob I swear and they always wander why they are short change it's because they don't listen at all and act stupid what the hell kind of math are they teaching in schools nowadays read more

The store itself is decent enough but this review is for the eye care center. If you want to wait almost a half hour just to pick up contacts you've already ordered a week ago then this place is for you. I was standing around for about 15 minutes while there were two employees huddled in the back room. No one was there to greet me or say they would be with me in a minute or even acknowledge I was there. There was another bored looking guy that seemed to be waiting that ended up leaving. A lady finally came out of the back room (still not acknowledging my existence) so I walked up to her and said "excuse me" she ignored me for a few seconds and said she was busy helping someone else walked back into the room. Finally she finished whatever she was doing and without a smile comes and asks my name. At this point it's getting close to a half hour of waiting just to pick up some preordered contacts. Very unprofessional. Her nametag was flipped over so I couldn't see her name. I won't be wasting anymore time here, many other places offer competitive prices on contacts that can treat their customers better!! read more

Very frustrated dealing with Walmart on 13th Ave. in Fargo. I drove an hour and a half to come and pick my groceries up and then they were not ready in time. Call the number for pick up and no one answered the call after at least five minutes of ringing so I called the other number and nobody answered again for at least five minutes eventually I finally got a hold of the assistant manager Laurie who basically said there was nothing she could do about it, didn't give any help, Had no idea when the order would be ready and just gave a trail of excuses. She finally just canceled my order and then I asked to talk to the manager Orlando Washington and he basically gave the exact same excuse. Nothing they could do about it not willing to help I will not be going to get my groceries at Walmart on 13th Ave. ever again. Very disappointing. I'm done with Walmart in fargo. read more

They have everything, for reasonable prices, and hardly ever close. One stop shop. They have a lot of employees present usually that are very helpful finding things in this massive store. Seriously you get a work out going from one end to the other, god forbid you forget something and have to go back! Went into service department for oil change. Oil change was fine. Requested that they inflate tires to upper limit of tire range (44 PSI), they actually lowered them to 32 PSI. My car was finished at 12:04 and placed into parking lot. I was sitting in the waiting area 10 feet from the counter, and was never called, either in person or over the public address system. I had to go up and check on the progress and was informed it was completed. When I asked, the cashier/manager/service tech said, I wasn't here. read more

We don't usually shop at Walmart in Fargo, but after this trip, we'll be going back to Target. It was a Saturday-mid day, so it was expected to be busy. Driving through the lot, the cart return lots were so full we could barely squeeze through the isles. Once inside, we collected some various 5 items and went to the checkouts. All the self-serve lanes were closed. We stood in line behind ONE customer for about 25 minutes while the checkout clerk chatted with the other workers about going on break soon. A new cashier came, and we eventually got through the lane. On the way out the door, we realized the case of pop we purchased was dripping, but didn't want to go back in after the wait. In the parking lot, we opened the case to not have it drip inside the car. 3 cans were broken and leaking in the case of 12. On this trip, we also stopped at the Subway. The workers were rude and pushy, and because of that, we ended up not ordering everything we wanted. I was not even halfway to the counter to pay when the worker began yelling at me. We were the only ones in line. The sandwiches were not well made and falling apart. By far the worst Subway experience I have ever had. read more

I went to Walmart with a list of things to purchase, and my first stop was to buy face wash. I found what I wanted to buy and I was about to head out to get the rest of the items on my list, but I was stopped by an employee and told that I had to pay for my less than $5 face wash or put it in a locked box that a cashier would later open. The rest of the items I had to buy were more expensive than that face wash and I have to be treated like I'm buying an expensive video game or electronic device. That alone made me not want to stay another minute in that store, and I took my business to a competitor. The Walmart stores in Minneapolis don't do this!!!! I understand they're trying to prevent shoplifters, but instead they're reminding me how run down and unsafe their stores are. Not only do they never have enough checkout lines open and rarely restock their shelves, but now you have to be hassled for buying products from their stores! We were on vacation and needed an oil change. Stopped at this Walmart at 6:50 PM, Auto repair closed at 8 PM, an hour 10 minutes away. After waiting for the disinterested employee to stop her gossiping conversation with one of the mechanics, no I'm not kidding or exaggerating, I asked for the oil change. She told me they stopped taking cars in for the day. Good for me, if it takes their mechanic over an hour to perform a 15 minute oil change, I don't want him within a 100 miles of my car. Took it to one of the other Walmart's and got great service. Time for management to take a closer look at this store. read more
