In April, BTS collaborated with Korean food companies Paldo and Hy to launch Arih, a consumer packaged goods brand that blends Korean and Western flavors. Arih products are sold exclusively at Walmart. The brand's title is inspired by the Korean name, "Ari," which means "fine" and "beautiful," and the letter "H," which is intended to represent happiness, harmony, and health. As a BTS ARMY fan, trying the ARIH "Modern Noodle" line was an absolute must. The product comes in seven flavors: Black Pepper Tteokbokki, Gochujang Butter, K-Super Spicy Seaweed, Spicy Seaweed, Soy Sauce Butter, Truffle Bulgogi, and Vongole. I placed a pickup order at Walmart Supercenter in Farmingdale, NY by first simply placing an order online and choosing a timeslot for pickup. The next day, I received an e-mail that my curbside pickup was ready and I received a text message with a link to select I'm on my way when I'm heading to Walmart. Once I parked in one of the Curbside Pickup parking spots, I selected I've parked and entered the spot number and color of the vehicle. Within 5 minutes, a Walmart associate brought out my items in Walmart bags. I showed a barcode to the associate and the associate scanned it before handing over my order. I can't wait to try the Black Pepper Tteokbokki, Gochujang Butter, Soy Sauce Butter, Truffle Bulgogi, and Vongole Arih noodles. There are no Walmarts in the city at all so coming here is a treat. For me at least. It's gigantic ha but it does get quite busy. The parking lot can be a little hectic but it's big . Super centers usually have a huge fresh food/grocery section. On 11/15/25, I went to the Walmart Farmingdale location, looking for a certain skin care brand, and the two customer service associates that I spoke to did not know enough English to tell me where it is located. Both spoke Spanish. I had to use my cell phone to write down the name of the product and show it to the associate who knew more English. I was not the only one who had this experience. There was a gentleman in the next aisle who had to enter a product name on his cell phone and show it to yet another associate. To prevent this incident from happening again, I asked another associate if there is anywhere on the Walmart app that would tell me where products are located. She did not know what the word "located" meant. She explained that she only speaks Haitian Creole and French. So I Googled the question and found out the answer: in the app make sure you have the right Walmart location and then Input the name of the product in "Search Walmart" , click on the product itself, scroll down and click on the word "Pickup", and you will see the "Aisle Number" right there. Clicking on the aisle number itself will bring you to a map of the store. So I searched the app for the next product that I was looking for: "hanging file folders", and it told me aisle L9, but the app guided me to the wrong location. It brought me to the toy vehicle aisle, where consumers purchase hot wheels and drones. So I spoke to yet another non-English speaking associate, and I showed her the product on my phone. She did not even know how to say the aisle letter and number in English, so she pointed to where I should go, but she pointed in the wrong direction because I found the product in the next aisle. This is pathetic. I have travelled overseas multiple times, and never have I been in a situation where at least one person did not know English. I will not come back to this store again. Too bad Yelp does not have a zero rating system. If it did, I would give this store ZERO stars. read more

Walmart allowed us to host a holiday event where 100 youth were able to shop with a $150 budget each, and the experience was wonderful. The team was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Staff assisted with moving items and making sure everything ran smoothly, and the supervisors were especially kind and supportive. On top of that, they generously donated additional toys, which made the day even more special. The store was clean and well organized. They do have a strict receipt-check policy when exiting, which is clearly in place to prevent theft and was handled professionally. While perhaps not the tidiest Walmart I've been to, it certainly is the closest. They also have some pretty rad clearance sales, if you look hard enough. For example, this past weekend I snagged an Igloo 48 QT Laguna Hard-Sided Ice Chest Cooler in Aqua Blue for only $13. I know they're not the best coolers out there but still, $13... like what?! On their website, the same model is on sale for about $25, so I def got a nice in-store deal. Your mileage may vary but it's worth taking a look. read more

We want to give a 5-star shout out to the assistant manager on duty at pick up today. Our pick up package was missing and we knew it said out of stock online after we placed the order, so we were panicking that there's no way to fill it if they couldn't find the missing package. The assistant manager stepped in and offered to look for it on the floor. He took us to look in the regular Squishmallow area and then in several seasonal areas. We were losing hope, but he kept trying and eventually found the one we wanted in the last seasonal area. We didn't get his name, but he was so helpful that it more than made up for the missing package. Again, heartfelt thanks to the assistant manager on duty in the pickup area today! read more

I've had a Wal-mart card for 14 years, and trying to make a purchase, I was told my account was close. A week ago I called customer service, and was told sorry I will look into the matter. She then said, your account will be open within 48 hours. I waited 3 days and it still says account closed. Today I called back to inform them, that it's showing account closed again. My average rating for Walmarts are about 2 stars and we've been to this one quite a few times for their ho-hum goods. Normally I'd be here to pick up $9.86 jeans or work pants, $1.97 T-shirts, but I don't expect them to last. But recently, this Walmart underwent a metamorphic renovation/expansion that was completed last week. The entire supermarket side has been redone with brand new refrigerated sections, produce, bakery, deli and prepared foods with lots of food options. It seems they want to go after the Costco/BJ's, Trader Joe's and Whole Foods customers. Walmart is now offering many of the same type of prepared or simple to prepare foods you would get at their competitor's stores, with good quality and priced to go. We used to get individual salad boxes at Trader Joe's like the Southwest and Caesar salads, but now Walmart is carrying them for slightly less. Ready-for-the-oven pizzas like Costco? Get a medium Meat Lovers for $5 or large for $8. There are some unbelievable prices on some stuff that they obviously dropped their drawers on to get you in the store. They rolled them back pretty far to like 1990. 19¢ bananas at TJ's? Try 25¢ per pound or 5 for 45¢. Dozen large eggs? 91¢. Or Jumbo sized for $1.16. Got Milk? $1.69 per gallon. Also got a pack of no-name (Bar-S?) hot dogs for 88¢. Not everything in the store is priced crazy stupid, but if you look around, you might save a ton of money on every day goods. read more

Can't really say too many negative things about this Walmart. I mostly shop at the supermarket portion of the sore. In my opinion, they have a better variety of items than most other supermarkets in the area and their prices always seem to be just a little bit lower. The store is kept pretty clean with the shelves usually very well stocked. I like that they are open to 11pm on weekdays so it makes it convenient if you hate shopping during peak hours of the day. Because it's a Walmart Supercenter, you can also shop for anything else that Walmart usually offers. The only negative I've experienced is if you need assistance with electronics, the staff is scarce and have little product knowledge. read more

Took two cars on different occasions to get tires installed. The first bad experience was that I booked an appt online for Sunday at 6pm two weeks in advance. On the day of my appointment at 3:45pm, walmart called me and said they're closed at 4pm. I asked why they had the appointment was available if the store was going to be closed. She finally said, to bring the car in as soon as possible and they'd fit me in. I got to the store at 4 and guess what? It was still open. In fact, they had people coming in to get tires replaced while I waited. Do you know when they took my car in? at 6:15pm. I wasted several hours of my day off because someone wanted to leave early for the day. The second time I took my car in for an 8am appointment. I got to the store at 7:55am. An employee was standing around and told me they couldn't find "the key" to open up the garage bays. Apparently this giant store only has one set of keys to open the garage. After waiting over an hour, they finally took my car in. They didn't start work on it for another half hour and finally finished the install an hour after that. I didn't get home until noon. Just know that you're going to walmart because the prices are low, but the service even lower. I always end up feeling depressed after visiting that store, but hey, that's where the extra start comes in, sometimes you can get really cheap stuff there... but at what cost? read more

Walmart Auto Center destroyed my car. It was $12,000 to fix it. Worse than their negligence and error, they still, two months later have done zero, nothing to resolve their crime. The crime is their mega corporation disinterest in 2024... and non -existent customer service. The store manager, never reached out to me, the lower level store employees lied to me. Four employees were part of the mistake and their doing nothing to fix their error or my car. They drained my transmission fluid. thinking it was my oil pan... never refilled my transmission fluid... and overfilled my un empty old oil with five more gallons of fresh new oil. And they highlighted their work with color coded stickers which were dated. My transmission was destroyed while driving home. $12,000 of damages. An entire new transmission needed to be installed. Walmart corporate has done nothing to help. Lots of "we are working on it for two months".... To Walmart their error is a cheap fix. They are a multi billion dollar company. they also are insured for billions of dollars .... Walmart is sadly no longer and honest company anyone should ever shop at. Walmart as a company should be avoided country wide. Ultimately tgey dnt care at all about their customers. They owe me money for a crime and negligence they've admitted to on recorded interactions. Top Walmart executives are aware of my situation and don't care. The store manager, district manager and regional manager are aware of my situation and their liability and don't care. Don't shop at Walmart and NEVER trust your car to them even for a simple oil change. Sadly its employees and managers are awful too. read more

Absolutely love the Subway here and the employees! Walmart itself has a large and varied selection. Unfortunately that's where the good stuff ends. Place tends to be quite crowded even during weekdays. This location continues to be a pain point when it comes to convenience and customer satisfaction. They treat you like a criminal and scan and go is such a pain to use and they for some reason now limit it to two registers instead of the 6+ they recently closed down and watch everyone like a hawk leading to an uncomfortable and strange checkout experience. I'm assuming shoplifting is an issue here but that's what insurance is for (and I can't imagine this location will last as shoppers will inevitably give up and leave especially with the checkout situation and longer lines) and it's a frustrating why they have to inconvenience the many honest shoppers who want to get in and get out and the fact that some items are locked up and you'd be lucky to get anyone to help you. With these issues this place only has so much time left. Hope to see improvements made to the shopping experience soon. read more

I have never felt more insulted than being stopped by security and forced to prove the purchase that I literally just came from the customer pickup area for, not 10 ft away. I understand a company's need to control loss prevention, however badgering customers as they exit and forcing the check of every customer without cause is unnecessary and degrading. I frequent Walmart's most often when I travel and have never experienced this level of disrespect ever. They don't take Apple Pay or any sort of RFID payment, but of course this isn't noted anywhere, so you just find out as you're trying to pay, so make sure you have your physical cards with you. Your only other option for digital payments is Walmart Pay, but who the heck bothers with that? Not like you get extra incentives. read more

f you go early you are forced to use self-checkout. The machines very often double charge you for numerous items. If you catch it you have to get an associate to correct it and that can take time. If you don't catch it, it is near impossible to get it corrected after the fact because their customer service is not open and even if it is, there could be a long line. If you try to contact them, there is no way to send an email to customer service, so you have to connect with them by phone. This is very problematic since most associates are very hard to understand and they are very limited with what they can do. They will refer the case to a supervisor who is supposed to call you, but that simply does not happen, even though they will tell you that they did call you, but your phone log will have no record of it, so they simply lie. I try to avoid trips to Walmart as much as possible especially to this location. I just can't stand the busyness of it - crowds, long lines, out of stock items at times, etc. I think it's even worse now that they've expanded. It's huge for a Walmart in downstate NY (Long Island).
