This review is for two of their donuts. I wanted something sweet and after walking around for a bit I decided to try their donuts. I found a two pack of ring donuts which were filled with both chocolate and Bavarian cream. They were definitely very good but I took a star off because I didn't like the flavor of the chocolate on the inside too much. It didn't taste like something I would put inside of a donut and it was.....kinda bland. Would have been better with only Bavarian cream inside. Still good but I wouldn't buy them again. This evening went into Walmart Super Store w/a leather Chicago Bears jacket along w/a Marine Corps scull cap. My purpose for being in the store was to cash a check, which is $500. The cashier never reached for the check or verified my ID. In the check, if the cashier would have taken the review has my address. Then I asked for a manager, the manager never looked or reviewed the check. Now, if either the cashier or manager had taken their eyes off my appearance to review the check, they'd have noticed the check was mailed to my home address. Instead their suggestion was to take my retired military ID with my name and social listed on it and to go home to find a utility Bill with my address on. I had to forms of ID on me, my military ID along with a Social Security Card, somethings I'd had to have punched in to certify receipt. Not to mention these were two African-American females who racially profiled, instead of providing top-notch customer service they assumed I was pookie from New Jack City. If I could give this Walmart Super Store a negative Five-Star Yelp review that would have been the choice that I'd have selected. read more

This is my go-to Walmart due to its proximity from my home, school, and work. The parking can get super crazy sometimes. This is where I get my 5-gallon water jug refilled, good price. While there have been many issues in the past, the water station has been fixed. I guess we shall see how long till it breaks again. I like doing my grocery here, lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. I like buying my frozen fruits here as well for my smoothies. The pickup dome is so cool- it is available 24 hrs for most pickup orders. In the past, there were incompetent staff working at the pick-up station which is not a good business. Otherwise, great and affordable prices after all, it is Walmart. This location has more self-check-out stations that are open and available simultaneously at a given time. I still prefer this location over the other ones that's within 10 miles radius. read more

It's a Walmart. Nothing outstanding. What'd I did like about this one over other walmarts is that they have plenty Of self serve check outs. The lines are really short I was able to get in-and-out really quickly I plan to come to this location again, it's right near my hotel. And there are a lot of Soft drink mixers. read more

It is really a sad situation when we I tell you that this is a SuperCenter and they have two lines open on each side during the busy days of the month. It does not matter what time you go there you are going to wait in line for at least 30 minutes. Most of the cashiers looked haggard and overworked or just plain unprofessional. What ever happened to saying hello to a customer and its not just me because I am in line long enough to watch them not bother to interact with at least 7 other customers. Management does not seem to care. It never fails that someone in line pulls out their cell phone and calls the store manager to request additional cashiers. Sad sad sad. I live across the street from this Walmart and I hate coming here. They have cleaned up the "ghetto" Walmart on Skibo and I drive over there if possible. read more

I started somewhat enjoying this Walmart again now that I use Pick Up. I Check-In on the app when I leave the house (allow it to track my arrival time) and I hardly ever wait for more than 15 minutes. The staff is very polite. The lines in the store are too long (of course for a city this size) and Pick-Up saves so much time. I am giving it 3 Stars because items that are In Stock are more recently being listed as Out Of Stock on the grocery app. Example: They have had an item (GV Vanilla Coffee) marked Out for over two months online. Yet, every time I go in store it is fully stocked. I've even walked in after pickup and bought it so I know it is there. The reverse holds true. They have Orchid plant food as Stocked but it's not. That defeats the purpose on Pick-Up. If they don't find a way to keep their inventory updated then I will be going somewhere else. read more

Every time I need an odd combo like printer paper, socks, and milk I come here, then regret it. Badly dented cans, especially in the cat food section. One dented to badly you could smell it, indicating it was spoiled from being dented. Took a few cans to the service desk where I was met with a "yeah it's dented, so what?" look, had to explain why dented cans can be bad. She said, "I tell someone" (no kidding) and tossed it on the stack of things to be re-shelved. Another time an employee was talking very loudly to a customer. The employee was black, so was the customer, who was saying she did not like greens. The employee said, in a LOUD voice, "What? You ain't no N*****r!" I find that very offensive, I don't care who says it, and to hear staff talking like that is just plain trashy. Saw a group of new employees another time being given some orientation tour, they looked like they were going to a firing squad they were so miserable. Don't expect the cashiers to ask how you are or even say "thank you." Have had plenty of issues with panhandling in the parking lot, and even inside the store, someone following me around wanting me to cash a check for him! Lots of shoplifting, I see cans of pop and beer opened and empty sitting on shelves, and packs of things like makeup opened and empty hanging up. Still not quite as bad as the woman who was walking around in a dress so short it was more like a shirt, and NO underwear. You'd think someone would have some standards and not let people like that in. Whenever I let my guard down and shop here I feel the need to go home and take a bath. When you think of "Fayettenam," this is one place that comes to mind. read more

Wow! I asked four employees could someone assist me, I needed to get razor shaving blades that they keep locked in cosmetic section. No one could help, they all said that the lady with the key is around here somewhere. I waited for over an hour no one even came to the register desk in cosmetic. Only after I decided to leave the store did one of the employees ask me did I want her to page the lady with the key. I told her no thanks it's much easier for me to go to family dollar and get the razor blades for myself. I like Walmart but I will not go there anymore to purchase personal hygiene items. read more

You can walk around in here for hours and never find someone who works there. If you do find an employee they have no idea where to find something you need. The operator has no idea who to forward your call to when you have a question or need to speak with someone. THERE ARE ALWAYS THREE REGISTERS OR LESS OPEN! I have never seen the manager or any assistant manager. They must be hiding in their office or go home at 2 pm. It's not that safe to shop here at night, either. One night I was getting in my car and a semi overweight person in security tackled a man with a case of beer. The beer didn't make it and the guy ran off. And there are the people who stalk around the parking lot asking for money. Normally there is someone in security circling the parking lot, but not always. If you use their pick up for grocery shopping be prepared to wait your entire hour long block for them to bring your groceries. You can expect to find issues with why you receive like damage to cans and boxes and produce to be older or bruised. You can also expect the people wheeling out your products to be slow, lack social skills or be generally rude. This Walmart needs to implement QC and reassess the personnel they have working this section. UPDATE: Returned for a second go at this place thinking if I did the pick up late enough I wouldn't have to wait. My family and I sat here for 30 minutes as the only people in the pick up only to have the worker bring out the wrong order and then disappear for another 10 minutes. I'm beginning to wonder how anyone working the pickup section remembers to breathe every morning. This place is useless. Go to anywhere else and do your shopping, these people need to be pulled off life support and this place's pickup need to end. read more

I'm just here 5 weeks on business and am staying at a hotel near by. I'm not to impressed with some of the food restaurants here so I'm buying food here to eat. Found out this place got a new store manager a year or so ago. It shows based on some of the past reviews on here. This is an Academy store which means it pays extra attention to being clean, having a fast if desired shopping experience, and strive to be friendly. I see all three of those things here. I came for an oil change, I will admit I didn't specify what kind of oil change I wanted, but the guy asked me what kind of oil I use, I told him 5w30, and he asked "high mileage?" And I told him, holding a bottle of oil I normally use, "yeah, thats what it says on my oil bottles I use" so I wait like an hour, I was going to shop around but it was too packed, it wasnt a holiday or anything so I was confused about that, they didnt have a waiting room to wait in. After 30 more mins of leaning on tired because there wasnt any chairs, something told me to go outside. I went outside only to find my car parked in the parking lot. I didn't get any notifications on my phone that my car even started or that it was finished. So I was confused, I walked over to the bays, people acted as if they didnt see me standing there looking confused. I had to interrupt a conversation just to get some attention, the guy met me at the register and rang me up for the "high mileage" oil change. I normally get the pitt crew oil change which is cheaper. I have an older vehicle but its very low on miles, I just use that specific oil when adding oil myself. It came up to 50 dollars. Im irritated because I didnt know he was going to sign me up for that. I do remember him asking me if I want to get the oil change I had the last time, and I know I normally get the pitt crew which is why I just said yes and handed him my keys. I never had the "high mileage" oil change ever, so why would you ring me up for that? The guy at the register asked me if I wanted to call the guy over and I declined because "lets be real, its not like yall are going to drop the price or anything" and all he was going to do is reflect and I didnt have time for that. I have spoken with management twice now. They never have enough check out lanes open. I asked what the policy was on the number of people in a lane before they open more. He said 5. Almost every time I come here there are 8-10 people in each lane. The lines wrap around to the point of customers not being able to pass anywhere near the front if the store. I have complained twice now, and management does not care. I normally travel all the way out to Springlake Walmart to avoid this place. Wish I had done so today too. The Ramsey Street Walmart! So tonight I feel like we were discriminated against! My friend carries his leather bag with him wherever we go. When we arrived in Walmart there was a security lady paying absolutely no attention but one of the employees pointed over to us. Security came over and told him he can't bring the bag inside, I told her that wasn't fair there must have been at least 20 ppl in the store with bags. She said if he wanted to bring it inside she needed to check the inside. A total invasion of his privacy! So after being violated I called the store, according to the CSM there policy is to check bookbags so that when we leave they can glance to see if the bag looks more full than when we came in. However, when we left security was too busy talking and laughing with employees to even glance our way. I think their policy is completely foolish and sexist. If the policy is to prevent theft they should check every bag, stroller, baby bag, etc. It's very offensive to be singled out and profiled because of the type of bag you like to carry and it's not a good look to make your customer feel like you don't trust them before they even enter the store! I asked to speak to the store manager apparently I have to wait 8 days before he returns from his meeting in Florida and the shift manager thinks I should call back because I assume they are too unorganized to see to it he calls me when he returns. read more

If Walmart is the only "supermarket" near you, check the expiration date on all the product you buy and make sure you keep the receipt! On three occasions I've brought home expired groceries, which were marked with a different date. One thing that I bought had been sitting on their shelves for more than a year. I tried to contact their corporate office, but unfortunately and predictably never received an answer. If you must, limit yourself to buying product that you don't have to ingest, otherwise be careful of what you buy. read more

Where should I start? 1. The pharmacy sucks. I show up and go to get my prescription. "Oh it's on hold it'll be ready in thirty minutes.". Ok, why tf is it on hold? If my doctor called it in that means to FILL THE DAMN THING. Why would anyone want to show up, especially in pain or sick, and have to wait 30 minutes to an hour? It should be ready when the patient arrives to pick it up. That is literally why the doctor calls it in to begin with. 2. Smells funny all the time AND everything looks open messy and strewn everywhere. 3. The auto parts is horrible. NONE of your mechanics know what the hell they're. They probably couldn't tell you where thetas tank was if you asked. Bunch of losers who could barely pass school working there because they couldn't get a job at a real mechanic shop. Dropped our car off and was told it'll be done shortly there's a few cars ahead. All we needed was the tires rotated. THREE HOURS LATER we got ill and went back up there. Then we find out they never touched the car. They said there was too much wear and tear and it's dangerous so they can't rotate them. Duh, it's a tire that needs to be rotated of course it has wear on it. (But it wasn't bad). Also why keep the car three hours? Wastes our damn time. Took it to the shop (a real one) up the road and they had them rotated for us in 45 minutes with no problems. Walmart mechanic just was clueless or lazy. And probably both. Just wanna stand around all day running their mouth instead of working. Whatever, your loss $$$. read more

I live about 3 minutes away from this wal mart so it gets a star for that & after going to other WalMarts in the area I realize that this one is one of the safest, fast, and offers a lot more than the other stores . The produce exceeds in quality & they have a larger variety of food in the international section. They are usually stocked pretty well & although the employees aren't very friendly and helpful I can still always find what I need when I need it. read more
