Buyer beware. Check the prices marked on the shelves. Some of their soft drinks are marked wrong. Instead of fixing it they just ignore the complains. Last time I said something the young lady at checkout said they have been reporting it and nothing is done about. I was there today and even more are marked wrong. This is not isolated to the beverage department. Today I grabbed something off an endcap. Sure enough, $1 higher than the price on the shelf. Went to buy an adapter for my iPad. First problem the aisle is should have been on didn't exist. Then employee told me oh it's over there somewhere but I couldn't figure out where that was. Another employee helped me but the shelf price was higher than the app price and she gave me a lame excuse as to why they couldn't match the app price. Talk about bait and switch! Worst Customer Service Ever!!! 7/6/22 - I purchased an ice cream maker online. It was faulty. I was going to return this to my local store, and then changed my mind thinking maybe this particular one was a faulty product and I wanted to try to exchange it. I took it to the store and was informed, they can't do exchanges on an online order. I would have to get my refund and buy another one at what ever price it currently was, even it it was a higher price. I said forget it. I'll take the refund. I was then told they didn't even have any. I used a gift card for part of my purchase. I asked for the gift card amount be returned as a gift card and the rest go back to my VISA. They then told me that because I didn't have the original gift card, they couldn't do that. I had to get a gift card for the whole amount. I don't want that. I don't normally shop at Walmart. I did this time because the ice cream maker was on sale and I had the gift card for Walmart. I was reminded, after this experience why I don't shop at Walmart. I called customer service from the online number and was told that because I had started a return, it could not be changed to an exchange, and I couldn't mail it back for a refund, because I had said I would take it to the store. They said as soon as I returned it they would refund my money. I asked HOW it would be refunded and was told it would be to the original cards I had used. I again told them I didn't have the original gift card. They said they would put it on another one. I had to remind them I had to return it to the store and they said I couldn't get a new gift card. Yet I could get a new gift card for the WHOLE amount. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told there wasn't one available. Now I'm stuck with either a broken ice ream maker or an $80 gift card for a store where they have absolutely nothing I want. 7/7/22 - UPDATE: I received an eGift cCard with the same number as the one I tossed from a Domestic Gift Card Team, Resolution Specialist III, with a zero balance. I was able to go back to the store and return the ice cream maker with funds put back on the original sources of purchase. The eGift Card stated, "We are issuing this gift card as compensation for the recent issues you've experienced". I appreciate being given a REPLACEMENT gift card so I didn't have to place my whole purchase on a new gift card, but to say a gift card with ZERO balance was "compensation for the recent issues you've experienced" was a joke. Compensation would have been to allow me to exchange the ice cream maker for another one, or at least have a small balance of $10-$15 on the gift card with some sort of sorry for your troubles, maybe this will help type of note. All Walmarts are the same... Except for thier bathroom. I have been to restrooms all over the country, and even in many places overseas. This Walmart has one "seat" in the men's room. It is always occupied by someone uttering words like "oh man" or quietly crying. In the unlikely event there isn't someone using it (because there is always someone in line and listening you you using it), you will understand that it is only for emergency use... As either there is literally crap on the seat, or there is no toilet paper... But often both. read more

This store is literally the worst place I have ever been! The women behind the customer Service desk are rude and uneducated. They literally don't even know how their own policies work. I am now out $90 because they lied to me and told me I could return my item at any Walmart but I cant. NOT RV FRIENDLY!!! The parking lot, although beautifully designed, is not large vehicle friendly!! We got in - we really needed a supplies stop - but we drove very slowly and still did several curb checks!!! Store is newer, and the staff was pleasant - the low star are due to the parking lot!! Most walmart's are RV friendly, we didn't plan to spend the night (which per the signage in the parking lot is not allowed due to Flagstaff City ordinances anyway), but we were disappointed that the designers of the lot had literally gone to a lot of trouble to make it hard for RVers! read more

I agree with the awkward location but it's better than driving all the way across FLG to the larger store. I popped in around 10:30pm last night to pick up some wine, hair mousse, vitamins, and a vacuum pump wine preserver for my mom - a must have for wine. I wandered the aisles to find the electronics department which was quite small and had very few of what would of like to expect. One thing I did notice was the parking lot. What is with the maze of exits? I think I made two illegal turns just to get in last night. read more

This is absolutely the best Walmart I've ever been to -- parking lot has LED lighting at night; mountains, solar panels and covered parking in the daytime. Unlike someone else has mentioned, they actually do allow overnight parking, too, and there are plenty of RVs on the parking lot. It is also open 24/7, so, if it gets too cold, and you fancy a sleeping bag -- not to worry! Better than running the engine all night long! read more

We had an order for a day bed that was delivered to the store late. It looked like there were going to be further delays (up to a day) for in-store processing. We were limited by time due to renting a vehicle to pick up the item and I was in Flagstaff from out of town to help move, put together furniture, etc. I called customer service. You never know who you're going to get. I was fortunate on October 7 in getting Jaime (hope that's spelled correctly). She was helpful and pleasant and we had the bed available at the front of the store and ready to take home in no time. She's a credit to the company--could not have been a better experience. read more

I appreciate that the carts were sanitized, but everything else was a disaster. The most chaotic Walmart I've ever been in. No social distancing. Super crowded. Out of a lot of items. Cashier seemed half there, had to ask for one of my bags because she forgot. Worst of all, security assumed we were there to park overnight, not to shop just because we are in a large vehicle. He knocked on our door asking if we were parking overnight. We really didn't appreciate that assumption and disrespect as paying customers. read more

Refuses to do a return after 8 PM. The location on Woodlands does returns all night. If Customer Service desk is closed, they will do it at the register. Been that way forever. Why I try to not shop at Walmart.... It took me 6 walmart employees to finally get to the assistant manager to return a $5 item that somehow the wrong UPC on reciept (even though we bought it, took it home, found out item is broken, took the reciept from the same bag and put it in the cellophane with the product. It was the only walmart purchase we made that day and the item was clearly on reciept). So for a $5 item I was berated and called a liar and that they refused to help me, and even told me they were going to kick me out of their store. So 2 big bouncers show up and continue to 'poke the bear' and tell me I'm wrong and they wont return it. This whole time I was waiting for the assistant store manager, which i was lead to believe they were one of the bouncer dudes or i wouldnt have even acknowledged them. The associates refused to shut up and just kept saying nasty things to me and making inappropriate comments on the radio to all the walmart associates. Finally the assistant manager shows up, I explain, and he returns it within a minute. Meanwhile I had to be treated like a criminal during the whole ordeal and I was noticeably upset at there lack of help. I even told them where the product was in the store 3 hours away (that they demanded I drive all the way back to return a $5 item.... really.?) So they could call and validate the upc switch up. Couldn't even be bothered. And let me say this, i was the only customer in line, so it wasnt like they were busy! I loved the design of this Walmart. From the Family bathroom, which I originally thought was Unisex, to the landscaping in the parking lot, to the mountains in the background of the store. I enjoyed the views and they had everything we needed, even a bottle or two of Ciroc. Which was cheaper there than in the liquor store. But they also had no idea of what a Patti Sweet Potato Pie was. read more

I don't get over to Wal-Mart much, not because I hate corporations or because of my own sense of self righteousness. It's because it is quite possibly in the most awkward location of any building in Flagstaff, when coming from Cheshire. Also, I tend to buy toiletries and stuff of that ilk from online sources (soap). That said, I thought I'd share my experience this evening, and judge them on this one glorious experience. I needed contact solution and checked online and Wally World had a great price. So, after work I headed over, ~6, and picked up what I needed. I then browsed for a half an hour and then got in line. The "20 item Speedy Checkout" lane according to the sign. It took 30+ minutes to get 10 people through this line, and I was in the faster of the 2 "fast" lanes. ~50 people queued up in the 4 open lanes in a store with 20 some lanes is just a terrible way to express dedication to customer service. Once I got to the front of the line, there was no apology for the long wait. I didn't use any of my zingers about the speedy check out that I'd come up with while waiting. I was polite and that was extremely one-sided. I won't lie, the people watching was interesting especially with a Planet Earth voice over in my head, (of course it was Attenborough, not Sigouney Weaver). Here's where you earned 1 star: after my checkout, I'm returning to my car and there are 2 girls fighting each other in parking lot. A crowd of people watching, from a distance, and I swore I heard some cheering, or at least some goading. Thanks Wal-Mart, the $3 I saved on contact solution was totally worth it. read more

This is actually one of the better Walmarts I have been too. While the selection is not as good as the Forest Meadows location, its usually very clean, and it has bike parking nearby, and its also open 24/7. The food selection here is also ok, and it has a nice variety of groceries, deli meat, and produce. It doesn't have many organic choices, and the deli meat is not always the best quality; however its selection is good enough to be a one stop shop, which is kind of the point anyway. I don't give 5 stars to department stores unless there's something that really makes it stand out from others, and despite the convenience of this store as a one stop shopping experience, I have seen better. read more

The grocery section is fine. Other departments are small with a very limited selection of choices. You may not find what you are looking for at this particular Walmart if you have a particular brand in mind. And they have limited restrooms, so plan ahead! read more

I agree with the other Yelp reviewers. The parking lot sucks! Anyways, when Flagstaff decided to add another Walmart to this college, mountain, town. I didn't expect it to be in a weird location where I have to take 2-3 side streets in order to reach this place. Also, heads up to whoever is reading my review, the selection her in the men's clothing, grocery, and electronic departments are very limited. It's probably best to shop at Target over on Milton for all your own home goods. Finally, be prepared to come across a lot of empty shelves all over the store. read more

Probably the worst Wal-Mart Ive been to. Customer service stinks, selection stinks and the layout stinks . A customer in front of me waited in line and as soon as he's ready to pay, the cashier told him he has to go to the back register to buy the alcohol. I didnt see any signage or anything. He was frustrated. I would have been fustrated. The gift card selection stinks. Everytime I go in there im irritated when I leave. Never again. If you must go to a Wal-Mart go to the west side location. I do however recommend Target over Walmart. read more

Do NOT buy online and select store pick up! We ordered a crock pot and a microwave online with same day pick up option, went to the store to pick up items and even though they were right here in the shelves, Walmart would not allow us to take them as an employee had started our inline order and left their shift without completing it, so no one, including the manager could complete the ticket they started! Long story short, it took us a week and a half for a SAME day pick up. Because the order was placed trough a third party, it couldn't be cancelled and redone. WASTE of TIME and MONEY. read more

FAKE Greeter! What a BIT-H! The chubby woman with super short black hair .... I just saw her as we were waiting outside of the Woodlands Village Walmart and I said to her jokingly "hey you're at the wrong store"! She didn't respond so I didn't say anything else to her then she glared at me and said I'm not going to say anything to you... I'm like "OK have a great day"! She continued by saying to me "you started it" . Instead of having exchanging any more words with her- I went and reported her to the Customer Service Mgr on duty. I showed him who she was he recognized her and apologized for her actions. Now, I get it was her day off and maybe was shopping where she wouldn't be recognized and is entitled to have a bad day but she was beyond rude! I'm a retired Director of HR for an upscale Department Store known for its customer service and I find this behavior very unbecoming for someone in this relatively high profile position in a town of this size! I shop at Walmart all the time mostly at the Super Center where she works, I will make a concerted effort to patronize the Woodlands Store now, but when I do go into the Huntington Store and see her I'll remind her EVERY time how rude she was to me! read more

I'm from Arkansas and we have really big and nice Walmarts. Restrooms are way too small and I think there was only one. Parking is very limited. I got a prescription refill and the pharmacy did a good job transferring and filling it. Store just seemed cramped and small to me, maybe that's the way people out west like it but back east we like our room. read more

Very unhappy with the photo center at this store. I ordered invitations online and they were supposed to be delivered to the store FIVE days ago. I have gone in twice, called several times, but nothing gets done. They always take my number and say "we'll give you a call" they never call me back. They don't seem like they know what they're doing at all. I won't ever order photos here again.
