We placed a order for delivery and it said it would arrive between 3 and 5 pm, great right? Wrong! That time came and went because the delivery driver canceled our order.The delivery time got pushed back to 8:10 and we finally had a driver. But these people love to test my commitment issues because yet again the driver canceled. Now it's saying the order will be delivered tomorrow if we wanted our food in 2-3 business days we would have ordered on Amazon. Now these people got me out here changing my order from "delivery" to "pickup" because I'm not waiting anymore this is just ridiculous. Give me some Ice cream or something for the wait since you want to be greedy and keep my money and refuse a refund. read more

Stopped here to complete my grabbing of items for my room. Mostly to round out my snacks so I didn't have to go out late at night from my hotel room to grab anything. To my surprise, the parking lot was not as big a nightmare as I thought it was going to be. It was one of the easiest parking lots I have been in at a Walmart in a long time. I ended up being able to find a parking spot quickly and didn't feel like I was taking my life in my hands walking through the lot. Inside, it was at least decently stocked and clean. Unlike some I have been to, I was able to grab everything I needed and was pleasantly surprised with the ease of being able to make it through the store. Checking out was easy. A quick stop to visit the restroom and pick up something for lunch, this was a good visit. The restroom was clean - Miss Helen would be pleased - and the store was properly stocked. I had no trouble finding the things I needed and there was no wait for a register in the self checkout. Yeah, they don't have many staffed registers open these days. Customer service desk only suggest you keep calling and calling support. 2 positive Walmart experiences in one year?! I'm just as shocked as you are! I realized I had forgotten some camping essentials such as pillows and drinks so I pulled off the highway since I saw the Walmart sign. I knew I would find what I needed and it was early enough in the day to hopefully not be a headache. I was in and out of the store in 15 minutes easily. I found pillows, pillowcases, drinks, a cooler bag and bought ice as well. The store was clean and not busy at all. As with all Walmart locations, even though it wasn't busy, there were still only 2 cashiers open so there were lines for both registers. The cashier was pleasant but seemed a bit overwhelmed by the sight of a line. The parking lot wasn't my favorite either. But I was able to get everything I needed and quick - which was exactly what I wanted. read more

It's good to have a super market like this one right near where we live. While there's a Kroger in both the sides of Frankfort, there's only one Walmart for the entire town. In general, the store is maintained fairly. They start restocking around 9 pm on some days which can be a major inconvenience. Also, the self checkout machines all go a little crazy sometimes. It's something to do with the faulty sensor. But, always, there's staff nearby to help. Just the other day last week, I noticed the entire freezer section was cleared out and locked because there was something wrong with the cooling system. Not sure what was up with that but good on them for acting on it quickly. With the Walmart app, check out, price look up, price match have all become super easy. It makes Walmart runs lesser of a pain. While the produce is not the best in town (ahem), they do have a large collection of household items, toys, etc ranging from the most generic of brands to the most expensive. The OTC drug section is very good - they carry drugs for most ailments. Well, it's a regular Walmart - convenient and cheap. read more

I had to make a quick stop in the electronics department. I wanted new memory cards for my cameras and there was only one employee working in the department. I was worried that I'd have to wait a long time because she was helping another customer with a cell phone, but she multi-tasked and I out of the store in less than 10 minutes. read more

I want to start out by saying I hate Walmart as a company so I have an extreme negative bias when it comes to it. Thankfully, I only had to roll up to it on this particular visit. Sadly, this was not my first visit to this store. I found this store to be dingy. The cashiers are unfriendly and soooo slow. I could have driven to a target in Lexington and been half way back to frankfort before they even got to process my purchases. I could mention people that are at this Walmart but really everyone that has ever been to a Walmart understands the stereotypes that frequent this store. Currently have been waiting for a hour for my grocery pickup. Called 15 min ago asking if they saw my check in and was told they still have a bit until they can get to me. Unacceptable. I could have already grocery shopped myself by now. When I order groceries for pickup, most I should wait is 15 minutes. Don't schedule so many pickups at once if you cannot get to them. Will not shop Walmart for pickup orders again. Will use Krogers as they get to you in a timely manner. read more

Hate the layout if this Wal-Mart and the cashiers are slow as mud no matter the time of day. I did find a Grill I wanted at this location last but ordered it online from this store so I could get it delivered. I naively thought, since it was 20 minutes from my house, they would just run it over like Lowe's does with their stuff. 2 weeks later, after arriving on a freight truck from California, a busted hunk of crap was dumped off at my house, broken 9 ways to Sunday. Needless to say, my money was refunded, but it put an even more bitter taste in my mouth towards Wal-Mart.. and this one in particular... On this visit, we went in for a video game that was supposed to be in stock for a certain price. After we left my hubs let on it had cost $7 more than advertised. Will never use the pick up at store option again. Pick Up service desk dont call hardly at all. Called four times and took over a half hour the last time for them to actually answer and the told me they werent going to fill my order until the next business day when my email stated before 8pm 2/1/20... Two stars - too sketchy. The other day I came here to grab some scotch tape. So a quick run in, a quick check out, right? I tried to use Walmart pay at the self checkout and it just didn't work. The lady that was 'manning' the self checkout counters came to help me after I'd waved at her like a maniac for a good minute. She had no clue why the machine wouldn't take Walmart pay. She seemed very eager to help me but alas, no idea how to. Okay, at this point I'm frustrated but still want the scotch tape, so I take out my card to pay. I'm almost done paying, when I feel someone peeping over my back. Why? Why would anyone want to do that? I grabbed my tape and walked/ran out to my car, looking behind me every two seconds. I've been going to this Walmart since I've been a child, ok workers. Not enough lanes open, always self checkouts.

The store itself isn't that bad and I would give it like 3 maybe 3-1/2 stars but as for the employees...... 1 star tops! I went in yesterday with a little spray can in my hand and wanted to find the exact one so I stood at the door and waited to get a tag showing I brought it with me and the little lady said exact words "oh don't worry about it hun you'll be fine" so I said ok and proceeded to go get the few things I needed.. well I get back to the paint and I find literally 1 can of what I needed but it was in the wrong spot so I didn't know the price. So I get to the self checkout area and there's this old lady standing there and I ask if she minded to check the price for me. She seriously huffed like I was bothering her and snatched the can out of my hand and scanned it. She told me the price and it was damn near triple what I was expecting so I told her never mind I didn't want to get it and asked if she minded to put it In her return buggy. Once again she huffs like I've asked her to freaking mow my lawn or something. So I go over and scan all my stuff and as I'm about to pay she yells at me and says well are you going to pay for that, referring to the open, half empty spray can of paint. I calmly told her I brought it in with me and was going to buy another one but it was more expensive then I wanted to pay and that the lady at the door told me it was ok. She then yells and basically demanded me to show her my receipt for it and I have to tell her that I bought it weeks ago and don't have the receipt and lol she seriously says well we sell those so how do I know you brought that one!!! I said well other than the fact it has no lid, is half empty, the lady that works the door saw me and lastly I'm sitting her telling you it's mine... she gets pissed and was like well I'm gonna have to call security and let them talk to you.. I told her that's more then fine but to please hurry I am going to be late for work if I have to be here much longer... so I stand there for damn near 10 minutes waiting and nobody ever comes so I tell the lady " you know what ma'am you can take this half empty can of paint and shove it up your ass " and I threw it in the trash can and walked out... I was so mad I had to sit in my car for a while and calm down... I mean if I'm going to steal something it's going to be a hell of a lot better item than a half empty can of $20 dollar paint lol... But anyways every time I've had to deal with an employee at this location they've always made me feel like I'm interrupting them or something! Well other than the lady in the men's watches area! In the 20 items or less line, I was behind two ladies who decided to purchase the store and pay in multiple payments while haggling over prices like a couple gypsies. Today I had bad and negative experience with Walmart store. I took our vacuum cleaner and juicer for exchange. Both had the label and boxes. I waited for 10 minutes until the manger came. I explained to him that I don't need the money back I just need to exchange the vacuum because it didn't work for us and and the same for the juicer. He was very rude, didn't have good costumer service and manner. Refused the exchange. I went to other Walmart store. They were willing to take care of it but after scanning the item. They said they couldn't replace it, because I went to the Frankfort store. I am a good costumer always shop at Walmart. Because of bad the services I decided to stop shopping at wallmart. By the way the manager name is Josh. He needs a training in respecting other people and in customer service. He is presenting his company. The company is losing business because of him. Also, I asked the manager to scan our credit card and make sure of the payment. The manager refused to cooperate. read more
