Walmart is my go to for veges for my staple home dishes like onions, cilantro, cabbage, tomatoes and bananas. Then you have everything else one needs at low prices. There's a selection of anything you might need. I don't know how my life would be without Walmart bc everywhere I live, I can't survive without Walmart. My go to place for ice cream, snacks, chocolate, car stuff, clothes, electronics, and even plant based lotions. Very nice return and exchange policy. Thank you Walmart. America and Walmart is the best for shopping in general. But this Walmart in Grand Forks is not so nice. The customer service is not nice. Seems they don't want to work. The manager is not nice. Doesn't really do anything to fix customer service issues. Doesn't feel like there's much care for customers. Just protect the staff. I was in electronics tonight and I had asked the first "available" employee if they had any Mac chargers in stock. He rolled his eyes and said "No" immediately. Turns out he was moments from his break and wasn't in the mood to help anyone at that point. I understand wanting to start your break but it would've took maybe a minute to check and see if they were in stock also didn't need to be so rude about it. read more

As me and my wife were getting ready to pay at the self check out at the Walmart in grand forks nd. We noticed only places to pay for our stuff was at the self check out. NO REGULAR CHECK OUT LINES WERE OPEN. After seeing that Walmart found d a way to falsely accuse a woman of shop lifting I was studying the Walmart in grand forks N.D. and the cashier was watching us and just waiting for us to mess up so the could accuse us of theft. My wife noticed it also. And noticed the cordless scanner would not work on certain times. We asked for help. The Africa American clerk even rudely accused my wife of not scanning done items, when I said I watched my wife scann the items, the clerk looked and said extremely I guess you did scan it. The self check out was packed and over crowded yet when I said out loud "no wonder why it's crowded here there's no regular check out lines at all open the same clerk gave me an evil look. We figured why Walmart does this cause they know if self check out gets too crowded it'll make customer panic on trying to ring up their items and miss and item as a way to accuse the customer of theft. By doing that it's called SCAMMING mental and emotional abuse. I will post this on social media read more

Yep it's Walmart. Needed a few things for a trip and they had everything. The staff here are sub-par. They had weird way about them. That kind of look at you instead of helping and blocking the aisles and seeming surprised when you move their stuff to get by thing. The usual merchandise is there and prices well so that is why this is 2 stars and not 1. Essentially every evening, and especially on weekends, this place NEEDS MORE CHECKERS. The self check line moves along but the machines malfunction and I end up holding 1/3 of my bags so the error "unexpected item in bagging area" won't hold up every third item. When I have more stuff than will fit in a self check, and putting back in cart isn't an option because not enough room, then self ck isn't an option. Only one regular ck line open, one 17 item line open, and the self ck means 38 minutes to check out. UNACCEPTABLE. read more

I've gone here a few times and I prefer it over my local Walmart. There's quite a bit of stuff here, which almost always means they have what you're looking for. As someone who sews quite often, they have a very nice sewing and craft section and there is almost always someone there to assist you if you need fabric cut. My only criticism is at the huge lack of registers open. Usually this isn't a problem but when I went there the other day they only had one register open and a line of at least 15 people behind it, as well as only one self checkout area open. It was a very busy time so I figured they should have had at least 3 of the 12 registers open. Especially in a Walmart of that size. One of their claw machines ate 4 of my quarters and didn't let me play or return them but it happens. Overall this is a pretty decent Walmart and I enjoy shopping here when I'm in town. read more

Walmart+ and their delivery is a valuable service to me over the last few years as without a vehicle there's no better option to have things delivered to my door. Usually when a mistake is made they take appropriate actions to address it, until recently. I had a PlayStation 5 delivered, not to my building but the building next door. The driver initially contacted me and told me my door code did not work and that they would just leave it in the entry way, which I didn't think was a problem because they've never delivered to the wrong building before. I checked and it was not there, and with a baby I wasn't able to immediately run from building to building trying to figure out where they left it. The entryway they left it in was unsecured and I never was able to find the item, either someone walking by noticed it and grabbed it, or it was the driver's plan all along and maybe they did it on purpose. I sent them photos of the two different entryways, the one they left it in and two photos showing both sides of mine, different color carpet and all, but customer service initially dismissed it saying it was marked as delivered and to contact my bank. Contact my bank? I paid with a payment option that I'm still paying for, for an item I didn't receive, contacting my bank isn't going to fix that. I kept pushing to talk to higher ups, and they said they'd escalate the problem to higher ups in 24-48 hours. It's been 4 weeks. No replies or responses since. Contacted Walmart corporate, was told I'd be hearing from someone, again nothing. This is unacceptable, and I can't recommend anyone ordering anything though this service that they can't afford to lose. read more

This Wal-Mart makes me want to call it BALLS-MART instead of WALLY WORLD like I used to... BEFORE I came across horrible customer service. I mean, we all know retails is a crappy industry to work in, but it is also what makes most of our pocket books plump. I wire money a lot, and the nearest spot to do this is at WAL-MART. I am SO sick of the workers constantly just staring at the long lines and not do anything to help the matter. WHY is the customer service line ALWAYS backed up around the corner with only 2 cashiers working? Wouldn't you think that they would know their busy times by now and have the appropriate staff for those times? The store looks like crap for the most part, and you can never find a friendly face to speak to when you need help. The nearest worker looks like they haven't showered in days and you're just bothering them with your questions in their busy day. I will say this, I have come across the best cashier EVER, EVER, EVER at this Wal Mart. His name is Jimmy, and is superb. :) Jimmy is always pleasant to talk to, and he never lets me forget a bag. He addresses me as a person and not just another customer. I do understand that stocks on many items are low but I was apparently substituted at item and never got the item. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal but the guy loading my truck for their grocery pickup was rude. He asked "did you see your substitutions?" I said no. He said "oh, I guess you'll find out." I found out later it was one item and I know he had it on his little computer screen there cause I've done pickup many times. Grand Forks Walmart is a NIGHTMARE! Go to Target or Best Buy!! I own a business, and decided to try Walmart's electronics by purchasing two of my business PCs and some flash drives at their store on 32nd Ave last Sunday (3 Aug). The flash drives were locked up on a display board, & there were no store personnel or other customers in the electronics section. After looking nearly half an hour for someone, a young blonde guy finally showed up at the desk. He ignored me, and when I asked him for help he refused; he was so rude that I abandoned all my shopping there, and went back to Best Buy. I'll never go to Walmart again! read more

Stopped here to get some groceries. Plenty of room to park the RV, but I did not inquire as to whether RV's could overnight here. The produce was decent. I took some printer cartridges in for recycling, was told, "we don't have the recycle box out because it got full" but then one of the workers decided to take the cartridges anyway. I'm not sure what the other two reviews are complaining about, this was a "typical" Wal-Mart to me. You don't expect a lot at Wal-Mart. I think I saw the "Jimmy" mentioned in other reviews. I believe it may have been "Jimmy" that I first approached about my printer cartridges, and he directed me to the appropriate place in the store. read more
