I always find it fun to stop into a Natural Grocers when I'm out of town so I can see what they might have that mine doesn't. Since we are still in the midwest its pretty much the same as Nebraska. I appreciate the variety and quality of foods and supplements. read more

I was in a hurry this morning but since I was in town I wanted to get an item but no person could be found to assist me and I went around around in the store searching getting more and more stressed because I could not find anyone.Finally I see a man stocking and ask him and he says I will find the manager .He got her out and I complained about the lack of service she finally assists me but by this time I am so stressed and could not make a choice of product and left without it Also one clerk was still wearing the stupid mask and masks are not healthy and there is no mask mandate and the irony of someone wearing the nasty mask in a health food store . read more

As someone visiting the Midwest, one of my biggest surprises is the lack of healthier options when it comes to food. The grass is green, the sky is blue, the weather is fair (summer), and the people are friendly. Why can't the food be good too? Well, step aside Hugo's, you aren't the only grocery store in town. Natural Grocers is a breath of fresh air that is long overdue for the people of this area. I'm happy that not only can I shop here when I'm in town, but you can shop here too. Enjoy! read more

Great prices and amazing selection! I would recommend this store to anyone looking for healthy food. I've heard people say it's expensive, but honestly it's much cheaper than a Whole Foods or even Walmart or Target. This is by far the best store in the area! read more

I was completely surprised when I found this store! New to the area, I had only been to Super centers, and the local chain for groceries. As a vegetarian, finding variety in smaller towns can be a challenge, this store has a massive and varied amount of inventory. I believe that prices were fair for the items, similar to that of a Trader Joe's or Whole Foods. The staff were friendly and helpful too. The produce was a little sad, so I docked a star, but I'm not holding it against them, as all of the produce locally seems subpar, most likely because it's the middle of February in North Dakota. It's unfortunate that Natural Grocers doesn't enforce mask-wearing. Their staff routinely wears their masks under their nose and several times I've been in and seen unmasked healthy appearing adults not wearing masks. The company line is that they won't force people to wear masks because of underlying conditions. This is code for "do whatever you want" because people who have underlying conditions aren't going into stores unmasked. They are either using curbside or delivery services or have friends do their shopping. Since NG won't offer curbside, their true stance-ignoring science-is clear. Because we are protecting a family member with an underlying condition and we believe in science and know people who have died of Covid and have been debilitated after surviving Covid, we won't support a business that's hiding their disbelief in science and the care for their customers' health behind a weak policy. read more

Kind staff, good produce, lots of good products. The only grocery store I shop at in Grand Forks.

I shop at the Natural Grocers store on a fairly weekly basis and have found the staff to be friendly and helpful. If one staff member doesn't know an answer, they will find someone that does which is nice to see in this day and age. It's also nice to be able to shop for a variety of supplements and other items without having to order online. In my opinion, the store has a pretty good variety of items that other grocers in the area do not carry. Glad they came to town! read more
