I was called around 6:30 by Alex to say they had a problem and was informed by him, Robert, and another technician George Jensen that I had a tear in my tire. After some conversation I was informed by all three that there wasn't anything they could do and that I could order a tire or put on a spare or put back on the original tire. I chose to put back on my tire and just tough it out back to my base. George Jensen informed me that ALL that would be done with my vehicle is that the single tire would be put back on and parked right after and my keys would be returned. I asked Alex if it was possible that I could pay for labor anyways for their time at least but that wasn't an option. Around 7pm I was looking outside the window of the Automotive department only to see associate George Jensen pushing my Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution to its limits and my turbos whistling and doing figure 8's and donuts and having a blast of a joyride in my vehicle as he assumed I wasn't watching. I don't drive the typical everyday vehicle and I take extremely good care of my car and I don't even expose it to such things that George was doing with MY Pride and Joy. After running all over the store while this was happening and stressing to find a manager I finally found the manager who was present in the store at 7pm on June 8th and rushed him over to the auto dept and let him know what the hell I had just seen. I told him George Jensen needed to show himself now and explain himself and somebody was going to be held accountable for treating my vehicle as such. George then appeared and before even entering the area I asked George assertively why in the hell was he driving my vehicle to it's limits, doing figure 8's and donuts in my car and etc and his answer verbatim was " I didn't do that sir no clue what you're talking about ". So first he lied in my face and his manager. Then George changed his story and said he had never driven a car like that and wanted to " see what it could do". Then after putting my supervisor on the phone who helps me maintain my vehicle and recommended I take my car there George told him over speaker phone that he informed me he would be doing all his previous joyride activities in my car and he had to " re torque the wheels like that" which I wasn't informed of at all. And I wouldn't have had to hear my vehicles exhaust reaching its limits in 1st and second gear through the window. This was another bold faced lie and I cut the conversation right there and told George DO NOT lie on my name. George is the same technician who told me that I needed to drive my car carefully and take it slowly and just be extremely careful and that the tire could burst. Only to turn around and push the outcome of such even further and quicker. George changed his story 3 times with his manager, Technician Alex, and I. This whole entire time I didn't receive a apology from anyone within this matter. After a discussion between manager and I made it clear I wanted my keys back and wanted a assurance that someone would be held responsible for my vehicle. As I was about to leave I took my first inspection of my vehicle. My whole entire car was covered in dirt and dirty water everywhere on it most definitely not as I brought it in. I returned back inside to ask the manager present when the store manager Alan would be present. I told him expect me next morning and I would be there to further discuss the matter Bc this was ridiculous and just out right disrespectful and no way My vehicle or I should have been treated that way. Mind you I haven't showered and am still in my Airforce uniform dealing with this matter and my time was wasted all the way till almost 8:45. I returned to the store in the morning around 9:30am to be greeted by Alex the technician again and told him that he needed to speak with Alan ASAP. Alan came and his manager from the shift failed to inform him of the serious matter so a lack of communication was already a problem as I could see. I informed Alan throughly of the situation in front of my partner and my Flight Commander who just so happened to be present in the store that morning only for Alan to tell me I was going to " be given the phone run around" and I would have to wait till Monday for anything to be started or done. So Walmart if this is how you treat customers and assume responsibility or hold people accountable you have a major problem on your hands. read more
