Was shopping for Christmas, someone had plugged the shelf with a 50.00 item on a 20.00 lable when I noticed what the item rang up I took an associate to where I got it she verified there were 6 of them she then got three other associates then called management. Management just said we aren't going to honor that price. If it was just one I could understand not honoring it but there was 6. Thats some kind of customer service. read more

All I wanted was some baby powder and couldn't find any in the normal place it is stocked. I checked the baby needs section near the Pharmacy and the Infant section further back in the store with no luck. I asked at the Pharmacy Representative, but no one knew anything. I asked who in the store would know where the baby powder was. I was told to go to Customer Service. There wasn't anyone at Customer Service, so I returned to the Pharmacy. By that time, they knew where the Baby Powder should be, but I found they were totally out of stock. The Pharmacist who ended up helping me indicated that they had the Baby Powder in stock, but it was nowhere to be found. I wasted about 30 minutes for nothing! read more

The store was selling sunglasses on sale for $10.13. It took them 25 minutes to find the ones on sale. But then they said that they would ring up at the regular price and there is nothing they could do about that. However if I went through the online "pick up at store" process, they would be the sale price. I said "but I am standing right here. Why can't I just get them at the sale price"? Their response...we just can't do that. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why I don't shop at Walmart. They don't keep their word and they cheat. All Walmart in general. Please train your drivers on how to read a map ,GPS, or manifest carefully. Knowing the difference between E,W,S,N, and apartments letters. Good example, 1342 Village Crossing Dr E apt D, but on the package, it's 1342 Village Crossing Dr E D. Now, are they confused about the two letters? Not understanding the first letter is for East, and the second is the letter on the apartments door. This has happened too many times. I've lost track. We need to have a discussion about your employee named Joe who works early mornings back in electronics. I went to the store on Friday, November 8th looking for the Stan Lee NYCC exclusive Funko Pop. Two different inventory tracking websites showed that it was in stock there. I get to electronics but can't find it on the shelf. This was not alarming to me. I have been doing this long enough to know that even if it's "in stock" that it might have yet to be brought out to the sales floor. Might even still be being unloaded off of the truck. I have no issue with this and would have been satisfied if this had been the case. Instead Joe proceeds to tell me that, without even checking any computer or handheld device that it wasn't there. That they had received their shipment months ago and one person came in and bought them all. Also told me that all the Funko Pops on the shelf are all linked to the same UPC and so they don't order specific ones. These are all untrue. Came back on Saturday morning, November 9th and what do I see on the shelf. Stan Lee NYCC exclusive Funko Pop. Joe, I don't know if you were being blatantly deceitful, lazy, or simply have no clue what you're talking about. I am so impressed and so thankful to a young girl named McKenna who works at the Walmart in Greenwood. She found my purse in the silk flower dept. and turned it in to her manager. I was panicking and she saw me. I mentioned I lost my purse..she said, " Oh we have it. I found it by the silks" I was so relieved and happy! I had just cashed my check. I came here recently to get a birthday present and I'm not a huge Walmart fan and try to avoid it at all costs but this location makes me think there is some hope. Walmart store=4 stars There are two Walmarts on the southside of Indy and this is definitely the better/safe/nicer one. I have never had an issue here, although I will say that I don't shop here often. But I can usually find here what I can't find elsewhere. Walmart Optical=1 star I went for an eye exam and new lenses last year for the first time here. The assistant helping me was not that friendly, but wasn't rude either. The Optometrist seemed nice enough, but not overly friendly. When my new lenses came in, they weren't even fitted into the frames properly and then when I tried them on, I could tell the prescription wasn't right. They said "give it 7 days for your eyes to adjust to the new prescription". I could barely wear them for 3 days and I called them back and said I needed new lenses. When I went in to exchange/return them, the same assistant was acting like I didn't know what i was talking about, the lenses were fine and I just needed to get use to them. She was almost arguing with me about it. I insisted I get new lenses and she huffed and puffed and scheduled a new eye exam for me. During the second eye exam, the optometrist said the prescription was probably off because i was tired that day (What!??). Anyways, she wrote a new prescription and when I tried those on, I could tell they still weren't quite right, but didn't' want to deal with them any longer, so I took them and left. I wore them for a year and then as soon as insurance would allow me, I went to another place and got another eye exam and glasses. The optometrist there, said the prescription on my old glasses (ones from Walmart) were over correcting my vision. So, just as I thought, the second pair still didn't have the correct prescription! Don't go to the Walmart Vision Center at this location! read more

I placed a grocery delivery order that was supposed to be delivered between 9 AM and 1 PM. It is now 3 PM and I have received nothing. I have spoken to 2 different countries on the telephone with no results. I have tried to phone the local store numerous times and no one answers the telephone. It just rings and rings. I haven't experienced the total lack of customer service from any store, establishment, retail, wholesale, you name it, that this place gives. From the auto center (where employees stand around more than the work. Ask me about the 7 HOURS it took to get a set of tires installed. The lineups at the cash registers were a little bit longer than I expected but overall our visit was successful. I haven't been happy with my experience shopping at this particular location recently. Besides the lady that has been working at the front door for several years is always so nice and sweet . Every since I moved from the area and don't get to shop there often I know that I'm being stereotyped. This Greenwood Walmart is located the closest in proximity to where I live. It was nice to learn it was opening after I had been traveling much father to another Walmart in Franklin. It was great when it first opened, but I am very sure the novelty has worn off. As with any Walmart store in general, I alway say I have always had a love/hate type of relationship with them. I love to save money, but I hate the atmosphere. I take comfort in knowing I am not the only one who feels this way. It seems to be a running joke these days. This also includes the people that go out of their way to 'dress up' when they shop there. Hehe. It's just a bizarre experience when I go most times; that's why I rarely go anymore unless I absolutely HAVE to. When I go, it seems I am in there forever. It's like I get sucked up into a zombie state or twilight zone. Regardless, with any Walmart, it is what it is,....and you get what you get. One of my main critiques is, I wish they would expand their ethnic isle a little more like Meier's. That would be an improvement for sure. I would really appreciate that they get on the organic bandwagon-train and start selling more of those type products. That is why I primarily go to the Kroger super store across the street to buy my food. Besides having other name brands of organic choices, they also have their own line of all kinds of organic foods including produce. I feel it's really starting to turn around as more and more people are demanding healthier choices in whole food products. I am beyond thrilled about that. But I digress,..... The cashier said the couple was going to go first because they dropped off the script first. Huh??? Went to go shopping for a conventional oven today. The gal was putting up some items. And stopped what she was doing. She asked me if I had decided on the on that wasn't digital and I said Yes. She said Oh good.... I have had several of these digital returned. I said for the difference of 30 dollars. I didn't care if it is digital. And she sometimes they are good. But this one it was an Oster. The digital panel goes out. I thanked her because it made up my mine for sure. The manager of this store is always so helpful. And she really makes sure the lines move fast. It is always clean and all the clerks are always so helpful. I find just about everything I need. And I shopped around and priced things online. This one was just as good and the price I wanted to spend. The only problem I have is their parking lot is so dangerous. Outside of that I love Wally World. read more

Overall a nice Walmart but there pharmacy employs the RUDEST people I have ever met. We stick with them because there nearby but over last 2 years it almost never fails. I only go here when I can't find what I am looking for somewhere else. The store is actually fine and I never have any problems here. It just seems that the congestion in the parking lot is very high and the chances of getting caught in a game of bumper cars seems much higher than at other places I shop. I always prefer a Walmart over any other grocery store. And this location is the best in the greenwood area. My only complaint is the lines. Workers walking around talking on walkie talkies and I feel they should putting themselves behind a register when the lines are wrapped around the women's clothing. I've sat in line for 45 mins just to ring up my cart. My frozen food is thawed out by the time I get home. Most of the staff is good but some have no personality. I will cashier Grace is the best!!! This is the nicest walmart in the area. They also have better deals than I've seen at other walmarts. Usually the best deals I have found are during the day around lunchtime when they put out carts of clearanced merchandise, often just $1 an item. In the past year I've gotten new bath towels, rugs, febreeze, 3-packs of Colgate whitening toothpaste, body wash, car air fresheners, bug spray, roach/fly traps, multi-pk hair color, TONS of clothes and more for just $1 each. Don't use Walmart tire & lube to have tires put on if you have nice wheels on your car or truck. They scratched my wheel and then when I brought it up they treated me as if I were complaining about it and that it's normal to scratch wheels. Go anywhere else for tires or tire repair. I was traveling and got a flat in front of Walmart. My truck had 4 new tires on it and was told they could not repair my tire and that is fine, so asked them to replace the tire and was told they would only replace all 4 because they would not replace the tire with a tire that did not have the exact same tread pattern. I understand size and load rating but tread pattern. Go to a tire store or auto shop! read more

I called twice to see availability on a bike for my granddaughter and was hung up on, then called back talked to a manager and he kept me on hold 21 minutes before I hung up.
