I commend this location for trying to do something different but personally, I don't think it's working just yet. A human cashier experience is almost nonexistent here. I was amazed at how many self check out machines are here so I assumed, I would run in and run out in a timely manner. I was wrong! I spent more time trying to ring up my items than looking for the things that I needed. The self check out machines are highly sensitive. Most of my items were double charged and after each item, I had to press the help button for help to void out the double item. The self check out attendant will come over and delete one item and before you know it, you doubled ring again and the attendant is at the next station deleting something off for the next person. I'm not sure if this is an easy fix for Walmart but it definitely is a costly wait for the consumer. Once the kinks have been ironed out, I can see the vision in decreased service time. However, It is disheartening to see so many jobs lost due to the number of self check out machines here. read more

New location shopping like I thrive on. This store was either new or newly renovated. Lighting was great, the selections were great. Moving around the store was easy. It was fun and rewarding to the tune of $100+. The parking was lighted and police patrols were visible. Great experience. read more

As a major superstore, it leaves some things to be desired. I felt most disappointed in the fact that there were no outlandish characters to be found in my fellow customers. Everyone was super normal and in shopping mode. This Walmart actually boasts a nail salon, check cashing services, a guns and ammunition department, a beer and wine section, a pharmacy, an automotive section and a grocery store complete with a deli counter and fresh produce. That's one mighty, big smorgasborg of options and a great way to knock out a few errands in one place. Prices are affordable in my opinion, especially when compared to NYC retail prices. I could not help making a mental note of how much more I pay when shopping for the same items in New York. The shelves were not always fully stocked but considering the volume of customers that frequent this location, it may be reasonable. The location is prettt clean and well maintained. There are restrooms available for use and these were clean and stocked for use. If you're looking to fulfill your need for everyday basics this place is a good place to start. If you are looking for a luxury experience, with say employees to guide you as you shop, this is not the place for you. Great place to kill some time and browse away. This Walmart is terrible!!! I went through the self service line and there were only two machine that had cash back, one of the machines didn't have enough cash so I had to wait for one of the Walmart representative because she took the entire time I was in line speaking loudly about her dislike of the customers that shops at Walmart. She stated her dislike loudly as she wanted all to hear. She stated how rude the customer's were and during this entire process this representative and a greeter spoke ill of their co-workers and the customers. I waited to get assistance, I wanted to see if she was going to at least look up and notice that a customer needed assistance. I finally had to ask her for assistance because she wasn't paying anyone any attention, and then she came over on the system and gave herself a five-star where I was standing at at the end of my transaction. Like she really deserved a five star service. She paid no attention to the customers in line and I stood there and watched her, and listen to her as she bad mouth not only the customers but her coworkers. Needless to say, I gave her what she should receive from her management, prayerfully wisdom. Next, I'm going to ensure that the management have feedback. If you're not happy with your position working at Walmart, then don't work there. It's bad enough the customers has to basically come in and check themselves out without any assistance from Representatives at walmart. This is the first time that I have ever experienced a self check out line this line outside of an holiday... One lane open (express checkout) and self checkout on one side of the store only. I'm not sure if it's the change in management or what that has caused this Walmart to fall apart but, I will definitely go to Target next time. Do not place online orders for this store unless you want to get expired, spoiled and wrong items. Not sure how you can pick out brown lettuce and think its ok. Confuse taco cheese for cheddar cheese. My pork chops smelled like fish and had a hole on the plastic. Ground beef was full of blood. I'm so disgusted I cant even go on with the rest. I did Walmart grocery pickup. I arrived. After five minutes, someone asks for my name. I give it to them. They say they will be out shortly with my order. Ten minutes later, he comes back and asks my name again. After 20 minutes, he comes back and says the order picker left off some items and it was not his job to get them, but he has another employee getting the items. Finally, 30 minutes later my order comes out. This Walmart is all around terrible. I would not recommend it for grocery pickup. I would give zero stars if I could. read more

I had an appointment here to get new tires on 1/17 @9am. I got there about 8:40am so I can be early. 9:00am hits and they're open. BUT the lady working tells us no mechanics are here so there isn't much she can do. Cool. I'm a patient guy. Couple more minutes go by, and they still aren't here. I think they arrived about 9:40ish give or take. Young lady comes out, gets everybody into and tells them where they need to go. I set this appointment two weeks ago. As time goes by and they have my car, she tells me my order isn't in. I never got an email or anything about my order. Nothing besides the confirmation of appointment so I came in as prompted. After saying my offer has been delayed (news to me) the mechanic comes out and tells me he will look for my tires. He ends up finding them, and able to complete what I needed. My car also makes a weird sound now as I press on the brakes. This didn't happen before. I will not comeback to this particular store for anything. The miscommunication and new issue in my car has turned me away. This is ridiculous EDIT. Had to give them 1 star. Lousy job all around. read more

I went to Walmart in LoveJoy to order some tires . Well let me tell you please don't order anything from the tire center horrible place of business . First off I order the tires on Sunday well today is Wednesday and I called to make sure the tires were at the store. I stayed on hold 25 minutes for some manger to tell me sorry but we shipped the tires to Texas when that was the store they was suppose to ship from.Then he has the nerve to say we will have to reorder them after I have taken the day off work thinking I was going to be serviced with new tires today. I have accompanied him on several occasions, and EVERY experience has been a poor one. The employees are rude, and the lines are always long. Francis the manager in the service center demonstrated outstanding customer service! My tire had a nail in it and he graciously explained the policy for Walmart that I needed to make an appointment. I expressed that I understood but my warranty would be voided if I use an outside facility as I purchased my tires and road hazard warranty from Walmart. He said that he would work me in but I could have a bit of a wait. I expressed to him to take as long as you need. Needless to say my car was done in less than an hour! I visit this Walmart regularly seeing as how I live around the corner from it. I only have one complaint about this store and that would be the stocking. They are always out of several items. I have never been to this store without having at least 2 items I'm going for being sold out completely. Whoever does their stock should be retrained or replaced. I shop at Walmart often so I already know what to expect. Walmart is the McDonalds of department stores so I don't expect star quality service but I'll tell you this, this Walmart takes the cake for worst Walmart out of the many many many walmarts I've shopped at. First off, Stock. Whoever does stock needs to be replaced. I typically don't order anything for pick-up because I don't trust the Walmart website to give me accurate information on products but I decided to go out on a limb this one time since I saw that the product I had been searching for for awhile was in stock at this location. I ordered, waited for the item to be processed and within a few hours I got a notification saying that my order was ready to be picked up. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make it to the store when it was ready because I had to work so I came in the next day. When I went to go pick up my order, I was informed that it was returned because they didn't have it in stock. I never got an email, call, notification. Nothing. The young lady at the Pick Up counter was very nice and expressed how sorry she was, however, this store does not calculate stock accurately. Why even send an email saying it was ready, have me drive 30 minutes to pick it up just to say you don't have it in stock? Makes no sense. Lastly, the store is ALWAYS a mess with employees just standing around socializing, not really doing anything. I'm a female in her early 20s and I can't tell how many times male employees have cat-called me and harassed me for my number and a manager just stood around and did absolutely nothing. I could go on and on about how bad the store is but what's really getting me hot is the fact that I paid for the product and was there to pick it up and now I have no product and the money has yet to be returned to me. This Walmart is absolutely the Worst!!! Many people work the evening and night shifts and have to shop after hours. I am a Registered Nurse and I work long hours on my feet. I usually have to shop after 11pm. If I only have a few items, the self check is closed, and when I have a buggy full, the self check is open but no registers with a cashier is available! This makes no sense to me when you see walmart workers walking around doing Nothing!!! Last night I was done. After waiting in the only line open behind 10 other customers, they opened up a second line. I moved to that one, to wait behind three other customers, then when it was my turn, they closed the register and told me to go to self check!!! I was so pissed off that I told him he must be crazy, after I have stood and waited all this time in two different lines and now you expect me to go to self check?!?!?! Seriously!!!!!
