Matts Warehouse Deals is a pretty cool place. It has character to say the least. The music is what keeps me coming back. It is fun and refreshing to shop while grooving to top 40 tunes. Pro tips: Be sure to explore the whole store, ya never know where an unexpected discounted item may be "hiding". Check the expiration dates, most are prominently displayed, so that's not a problem. Great Prices and a broad selection abound. If you have teenagers, stock up on snacks, as the teens will eat them quickly and Your pockets won't feel the pain as much. I'd heard about liquidation stores, but always thought they were for furniture or appliances. But I saw a TV show that highlighted liquidation stores for household goods and got curious. A quick internet search gave me Matt's Warehouse Deals, so I went out there yesterday afternoon. I wasn't looking for anything in particular; I just wanted to see what was available. I ended up buying toiletries and some cleaning items that I purchase regularly so I knew what kind of deal I was getting. There are a variety of items - clothes, electronics, bath goods, towels, bedsheets, automotive, etc. It's a smaller version of a Sam's/Costco. (They have a website so you can order items online if you don't feel comfortable visiting in person.) The store was smaller than I expected; it's about the size of a CVS pharmacy. The aisles are neat and uncluttered, so it's very easy to maneuver carts around corners and other people. Considering that I went on a Sunday, the parking lot had a respectable amount of cars but wasn't crowded. If I lived nearby, I would stop at Matt's before I went to Walmart/Target for certain things. It's a good spot to shop local. If I had more storage space in my little house, I likely would have purchased more than 1 of the items I bought. Prices and signage need to be accurate. Also need to go back to carrying a larger variety of merchandise.

This place used to have good deals, but they just keep raising prices. The other day I was in there and I purchased a item and the register rang up one price and the sign said another, but they would not honor the price on the sign. They said that the owner had changed a bunch of prices, and he would not honor the sign price. I really do not like that if you need help with anything that you have to go hunt someone down that actually speaks English because the two illegals that they have working in there don't speak one bit of English. read more

This place does not honor their return policy even as listed on the receipt. Unused item just over 30 days and wouldn't provide store credit for $3 item. To date I have placed 2 orders with plans of future orders--as long as they keep the Tide pods and the Dove & Nivea body shower gel! You cannot beat their discount pricing and the quality, packaging, shipping is top notch. I ordered candles in glass containers in bulk and not one of them was broken (they know how to pack glass items... go figure). Check them out on their website, or if you live anywhere close to their business I hear you can actually go in to shop. Highly recommended. my first experience with Matt's Warehouse Deals was great I ordered several pairs of sunglasses they arrived quickly and were exactly as described. my second experience was dreadful. I reordered sunglasses along with sunglasses bags that act as cloths. I paid for the sunglasses on 8/29/2024 I received an email with a Thank you but no further information. Two days later I received an email stating I will be refunded for the cloth bags. I was refunded however After waiting a week on 9/7/2024 I looked up my order and it said delivered so I followed the tracking to Colorado (I have never been to Colorado) I live in PA. I called UPS to verify and they confirmed that a package with that tracking number was delivered to Colorado. I went back to my order and my information had been changed. my address now stated an unknown address in Colorado I took screen shots of my first order as well as the new order. I called customer service I was treated like a third class citizen I was told that I changed the delivery address to Colorado as well as my account address. I then looked at my original order which also had my account address changed to Colorado. I have the tracking to my home in PA as proof that I had bmy order delivered to my home and that I registered in PA. I have never been on the site accept to place the new order . don't have any reason to change my address especially as my card is registered to my home address and has never been linked to anywhere else. I was basically told I can kiss my $180 order goodbye and I would have to contact UPS. I did just that and as I was not the shipper and the delivery was accepted in Colorado They can not help me. I finally contacted my credit card company and filed a dispute. I gave them all the information I had and also took screen shots which I provided to them. I learned that this has become a way of life as several complaints have been made for switched addresses. I also learned that this either happens from the inside of a business or the business information has been hacked. I then wrote a letter to Matt the owner but as yet no response. I would advise everyone to avoid doing any business with this Company until things get sorted out as there has either been a hack into their system or there is an employee or worker that caused a glitch in their system. as I do not understand how the account was hacked I do know it was not from my computer as not only does no one have access I have security measures that block anyone from signing on and an alert for anyone that tries. Matts warehouse deals customer service is brutally unfair and could not care less about these internal problems and would rather blame it on the customer. read more
