Walmart Supercenter - New battery - Department Stores Near Me - Hemet, California

I am deeply disappointed with the Hemet Superstore. I started shopping on line with Walmart during the Covid Pandemic because they had pickup for groceries and prescriptions. I am a senior with limited income and COPD. I stayed with them after the pandemic was over. Since then I had to move my prescriptions because they stopped pickup. I took my prescriptions to the San Jacinto Supercenter because they have drive thru pharmacy. A few months ago they took down the shade for the cars in Pickup. Then they reduced the number of spaces for pickup. Today, in 97 degree heat I watched the employees bring out trays of 10-20 blue boxes at a time and set them under a shade. When I left there were still stacks of 20-30 boxes that were not picked up. I stopped ordering ice cream because it was melted by the time it got to my car, never mind the 30 drive home to put it in the freezer. I ordered fresh chicken on my purchase today. Had I been late to pick up I would be worried about salmonella. I have been buying my groceries there for 6 years. I am going somewhere else for groceries. My life is worth more than Walmart thinks. IDK why Yelp relisted this Walmart as it already has a Yelp page. ANYWAYS , I'll keep this short. Hemet's Walmart is a large hub of food, clothes, and garden supplies. I'm also pleased to announce that we have a McDonald's and Wetzel's Pretzels. Additionally, have services like an eyewear and money center. I hit up these places somewhat often and the service is solid. My wait for money services can be a bit lengthy, as sometimes they're understaffed. Hemet's location also has a large bakery and food counter near the front of the store with fried chicken, potato wedges and of course a bunch of desserts like custom-order cakes. Need a quick dinner or lunch? Rotisserie chickens and Nathan's hot dogs are available near the self-checkout line. There's a sizable electronics section towards the back with TV's, video games, and pop culture merchandise. Note, a lot of stuff is under lock and key here, so you'll need to ask a store associate for assistance. Why don't I give this location 5 stars? They took away their 24/7 hours of operation. This used to be my midnight go-to store, it's a shame. read more

Constantly having groceries delivered, and constantly having things missing some things they say they'll be shipped separately then they never ship them. The stores gone down here. Automatically the people that work and they were terrible having delivery you don't know what you're gonna get and if you're gonna get everything, they're really sloppy last time ordered paper towels with the groceries. Everything came with the paper towels, and it said it'd be shipped separately they never were shipped. You can't get a hold of nobody to complain or tell him. It's a joke we're gonna go to shopping at Winco for now on. read more

I 've just moved here and I would really like to give them at least a 3 star because of the decent service I've experienced in multiple areas of the store. However, even they cannot experience what happened to me this morning at their Tire Center. Basically I was illegally denied service. The ACC Supervisor David stated that he could not put my tires on because they were a different size than what the car originally had on. I told him that it's because I have aftermarket rims, and that I had not only bought tires from Walmart before, but they have since mounted them, and have rotated and balance them throughout the tires life cycle. He stated that it was against store policy. I asked when did this policy happen. He said it's been in place for ever. I said, then why was I not only able to buy my tires at another location, but also have them balanced and rotated at three different Walmart locations throughout the life of the tire. He said, they do not know what the "F@#k they are doing. Then he proceeded to cuss me out. Long story short, I called corporate and they've stated that Walmart has no such policy, and that they will forward my complaint to the Legal Department and have it escalated. If you are going to lock up batteries you should have someone available to get one out for you. Such as a 9volt which was all I needed. I stood by the one in the front for 30 minutes and then went to the electronics store for over an hour in the back of the store and spent another hour with no help and a rude worker to boot. Then back to the front and asked three different workers if they could open it and get me a battery and they said they would send someone. Well I spent almost 2 hours in this store and finally threw my arms in the air and walked out with no battery. So I thought I would try to call the store today and share this with customer service or management and after many minutes on the phone and being sent back to the receptionist I gave up on that too! Never spoke to anyone but the receptionist. I even told her at least you're working today. I even tried on line to see if I could share my experience and couldn't get that either. There was another lady looking for a special car fob battery as well and couldn't get help. Wow Walmart what happened! I taught many people in my lifetime on customer service and your company has really gone down hill. I would give Walmart a zero star but I can't post without something! read more

THE WORST WALMART IVE EVER BEEN TO!!! I was already running late for an appointment. I thought I could run in and grab a pair of boxers and be in and out. Not at this horrible store. Who locks up all of the underwear??? Had to press a button and wait for a worker who took her good old time getting there and then she wouldn't let me take the boxers to the register so I had to wait another 10 minutes for her to finally make her way to the register with the item. I order groceries online weekly. Every week for at least a month I ordered ground turkey for the dog food I make and every delivery the packs of turkey came very swollen. This means the turkey is spoiled so I could not use it. I wrote to them and told them they should let their people know this but still every week it was bad. Now I ordered coffee to be delivered same day and it was after 10pm when I reached out to them and still had not recieved it even though I ordered it that morning. They have not retuned my money or delivered the coffee still the next day. read more

Constantly on the hunt for this one important product that everybody should have in their household Dolly Parton baked goods ! Finally found it here in Hemet California. Must be a good sign. I went here today to get some stocking stuffers and other items. I went to self checkout and went up to the next available register. The person who was in front of me had a cart full of items. As I got halfway through my items an employee walked up to me. He said can't you read this is a 15 items of less line and you have to wait until we tell you what line to go to in a very unfriendly condescending tone. He did not say anything to people who had more items and those who walked up to a register that was empty. I am not sure if it was because I am black or if it was because I was a woman. Employees should not be able to pick and choose what person they tell the "rules" too. The fact that nothing was said to anyone else is absolutely unacceptable. Employees need to be better trained and need training in customer service. Not sure if this is a Walmart policy that allows employees to do this. read more

I went to this store this morning to purchase items in the cosmetic area behind the lock glass. I was told that the lock is broken and no one has a key. How in the F does this store have items behind a locked glass but no one can buy anything because it's broke and no one has the key even if it wasn't broke. Ruth and their manager at the time is extremely rude with customers, unfriendly, and has no sense of how to do their jobs. Items on the shelves are also unorganized, not faced, and I believe that has something to do with some of the day managers. The stockers of the shelves are often rude, and some will not help you find products. Walmart Shoppers, who work for Walmart, are unfamiliar with the store or how to treat customers. Many of them run into aisles without watching where they are going, or if there are customers in the way. At least one of them, as she almost hit me, said "excuse you", clearly without regard for the safety of customers. Update: I found out the manager's name is Ana. read more

Walmart Supercenter - Me liking Walmart - Department Stores Near Me - Hemet, California

All the Walmarts, including this one, have become the worst places to shop, especially for cosmetics. Because of a few degenerate thieves, the innocent have to pay the price of Walmart's policy. Everything is locked up, but that's not the problem. The problem is they don't have enough workers in that department. You have to stand in line in order to take the one person manning the register to walk over with you and open up the cases. If they have someone helping besides the cash register person, you have to wait for them to open up the case. Then you have to get back in a long-ass line in order to pay for it. People are allowed to check out all their groceries besides the makeup there with ONLY one person at the register. Even if the item is not locked up, like shampoo, etc..,they force you to stand in line and pay for it there. Hence the long wait and lines. It is ridiculous. No one has that much time in their lives to be waiting constantly to get a product and wait in a long line to pay for it. This is why I'm going to start buying cosmetic products and other essentials at a pharmacy. I don't care if I have to pay a little bit more money. This is not worth the hassle. I'm not the only one that feels this way because everyone is grumbling and complaining in line, yet, these stores/workers don't give a damn how they inconvenience customers. Walmart solves their problem regarding theft, but they create another one for law abiding customers. Also, customer service and skills are dead at Walmart. read more

The only department that will answer a phone in the store is the pharmacy you cannot get a manager on a phone. You cannot get any departments on the phone. It's very hard to contact if need be last I was in there there was people yelling and screaming and threatening. Horrible customer service. Went to the store for what should've been a quick purchase but instead wasted an hour. I was trying to purchase an Apple Watch when the tech associate took over 30 min to get to me wasn't even polite enough to greet and say he'd be right with me. Line got longer and longer behind me. Then when he finally gets to me asked if he could assist someone else quickly before me which I was still nice enough to say yes but when he came back he proceeded to waste my time. He looked for the watch that was right in front of him the whole time but he kept looking through the same pile didn't even bother asking another associate for help till finally my husband told him it was right there and pointed it out. I tried price matching it to their online price but said I couldn't I had to purchase it online. When the manager came to assist him I tried to politely express my frustration with the quality of service and instead told me to just ship it home in a rude way. As a manager I told her she should listen and be more receptive to the feedback but instead her and the tech looked at each other making faces and laughed. Tech name was Robert and manager Griselda. Great Walmart location hidden in this town, I never seen any Walmart that stocked up so many toys, I mean have you taken a look at their collectibles section? They had filled up one single aisle of electronic department, unlike some stores only get one tiny spot for Funko Pop and whatever left over they had. Also employee here was very nice, helpful and trustworthy, they didn't even care to lock any up, meaning no petty theft in the building, I thought the glass door was locked so I came to ask for some assistance with a key, the employee told me it wasn't locked just don't make a mess and keep everything organized, I dropped my jaw lol. When I got my toys, she asked me if I wanted to pay now, And I Told her I wanted to look for more at the toy section, if she wanted to hold them for me here at electronic, and she said it was fine I could pay up front. Wow this Walmart was the first one ever trusted in their customers, that tells you something. Thanks to this Walmart I am now down to 1 Ninja Turtle to hunt. When you live pay check to pay check why am i paying ridiculous prices for basic food options and necessities

I placed an order for free delivery through walmart+ at 1:15pm today with the expected delivery between 7 to 9 pm. At 8:40pm I received a message stating my order was delayed. At 9:40pm I decided to have them call me which customer service did so and looked into the issue. She told me Francisco had picked up my order at 9:28pm and was on his way. I waited until 10:40, still nothing so I had customer support call me again. Usman told me the driver had cancelled my order and would lodge a complaint on his end and would I like it to be delivered tomorrow. No, I would not, I wanted it delivered when I was told it would be delivered when I placed the order nine hours ago! This is not the first time walmart has delivered to my address and I give them plenty instructions on how to get through my communities front gate as well as how to navigate through the complex. Unbelievably pointless to offer me same day delivery on a $100+ order if it can't be done. Utterly frustrated. My mother is having surgery tomorrow and I wanted to be ready with food for her recovery. One star read more

Tried getting a couple tires at the auto center. Complete rip-off, utter disappointment. Walmart rules require that you buy the tires in advance -- never make that mistake! Arrived right on time for my appointment, but after a lot of muttering and bumbling around the "customer service representative" admitted they had lost the record of my appointment. Said they'd get to my car in 45 minutes. An hour and a half later all the mechanics had gone to lunch, and the same fellow now said he had no idea when they could get to me. I drove off. Have contacted Walmart three times and talked with people in India about a refund. After almost a month, nothing has happened or shows any sign of happening. Not sure if this is total incompetence or deliberate theft. I'll never have anything to do with Walmart again. You shouldn't, either. Tell your friends. read more

Do not do the drive up pick up, especially on the weekends. I have been waiting over an hour in my car for 5 items. With COVID this seems like a great idea to avoid too much contact with people, but the wait is absolutely ridiculous. They do not ask for your stall number in the app (corporate I know), and the workers have to come by and ask your name and then say nah and just walk away... So glad I was able to leave my kids at home as that would have made this wait 1000 times worse. They have multiple people bringing stuff out but for some reason cannot manage to get order going. They bring out only 1-2 orders at a time when other Walmart's and Targets bring out as many as have checked in already. On top of my wait they are also out of the most random things like marshmallows. I understand that stores are running low on certain items but I had $20 worth of items cancelled from my order because they did not have them anymore. So sad. (By the way I wasn't even looking at electronics. I needed help in the fabric department.) Also, I wish I got her name but there was another employee she's really pretty lady with very long light hair and she was stocking the detergents and cleaners. She was so helpful talking to me about different mops I could use for my new job. It was just all really nice interactions with everyone there.
