For the auto service/tire center. First, the chubby dark haired girl working the counter (I think her name was Juliette) was a very rude little bitch. I actually saw her take a call and put the customer on hold saying "Let me check" then did something else and came back to the phone to say "No, we don't have that". She didn't check shit ! Just blew the person on the phone off. She never smiled or greeted us in any way, she seems to hate her job. If I were her manager, she would not last her first shift. I selected tires on the Walmart website. And made an appointment to have them installed. A process that is not at all intuitive, very clunky and confusing. When I showed up for my scheduled appointment I was told that since the tires were not stocked at their store, they would offer no warranty ! What !?! They were ordered from YOUR website ! I was also told that they could not do a spin balancing of the wheels and tires because they were out of the proper weights. They could only offer a static (bubble) balance. Totally unacceptable. Walked out very pissed off, not that an employee would give a shit about that. I went to America's Tire Store and was treated with respect and courtesy, got about the same deal and was out of there in about 90 minutes. This review is for the floor manager, Jen, who should really get trained on customer service and for Walmart to provide accurate information on receipts regarding return policy on electronics. Jen did not try to make things right and stood on their so called policy that the item I had only had 15 days to return but the receipt said 30 days. It didn't matter to Jen or her co-worker that came up to talk to us that they (Walmart) did not provide the return policy for an Apple pen upon purchase. The receipt for the pen said thirty days but they said it was only 15 days. Also "may be" and "maybe" are two different meanings. They were honestly all lame excuses instead of finding a solution. I had to call Walmart 1-800 customer service line and was told I had 30 days. I went back to Walmart a 3rd time and finally different managers who I regret I didn't get their names to provide a positive review since they took the time to figure out a solution. They were able to override the computer and completed the return. It took 3 trips to Walmart and two phone calls to get this resolved! If the item I purchase is only 15 days to return then correct your receipts to say that and tell the customer at time of purchase. Don't give lame excuses it would cause the wait time in line to inform the customer on the correct return time period or the other excuse on first attempt that it is too much paper to print out the correct return policy. LOUSY store service we did a online order pickup of groceries they changed the pickup location so we waited and waited nobody that we asked had any idea of how long it would take. One said we had a long wait then later he said we were getting closer then another lady said we had a long wait and no idea how long. First, let's correct the ratings. Zero stars. I returned diapers and was supposed to get a merchandise credit card. All the cashier gave me was a receipt, and told me *twice* that it was all I needed. When I went to check out with the diapers I was exchanging for, another cashier told me that I needed the merch card to complete the transaction. I told her I didn't receive one, and that the service cashier told me I only needed the receipt. While supervisors investigated the incident, the service cashier took it upon herself, (while on her way to her break!) to confront me about receiving the merch card, and called me a LIAR from nearly across the checkout kiosks. After all was said and done, supervisors confirmed via video that she had the card and just didn't give it to me, and it was still in her till/drawer. I was offered a gift card for my convenience but I found out that gift card was also gone when I went to accept it. A couple months later, a delivery that I ordered went to the wrong house, so I ended up having to get all the things I ordered elsewhere. This Walmart is ok at best. Some of the staff are helpful and recognize that we are all actually human beings. but when they mess up, they really put their worst foot forward. Zero stars, check minus, complete fail. read more

Every trip to Wal-Mart... every time. We go to Wal-Mart. We are eager to get what we need/want. We park but notice that the parking lot is super busy. We get a cart. Cart sucks cause one wheel has debris in it and it wont rotate. We grab a different cart. It pulls hard left or hard right and we don't feel like fighting with it. Frustration sets in. We find a cart that sucks less than the other carts sucked but still sucks. We secretly day dream of Target's superior carts that seem to glide effortlessly and are perfectly balanced and clean... and no matter what cart you grab at Target it is always a Cadillac. At Wal-Mart we settle for a POS cart that is like our hooptie we had when we were 16 years old that had a rag for a gas cap and the passenger window wouldn't roll down. The "greeters" that used to smile and say "Hello, welcome to Wal-Mart" now have their backs facing us and are shaking down folks that already paid for their stuff. We go for what we NEED first but can't find exactly what we want or there is no price. We look for an associate on the floor that can help. The only one that we see tells you they are on break. We finally get what we need, a bunch of stuff that we want, and a cart full of stuff that we don't need. We head up front to pay. We imagine check stand lights on from one end to the other. We are brought quickly back to reality when we see 4 lanes open. Beyond frustrated now. We take our position at the end of the line somewhere back in women's apparel. We used to do this a lot. Now we do this less and less. Why pay more at Target? See all of the above. For groceries, we LOVE Aldi. For Meat we LOVE Stater Bros. For stuff we don't immediately need... we LOVE Amazon. We hate Wal-Mart... every time. Wal-Mart needs to do some fixing from within. Kmart used to be king. If Wal-Mart isn't careful it will become the next Kmart. I was sad to see Kmart go because of nostalgic reasons. If Wal-Mart falls because a competitor delivers superior customer service, a pleasant shopping experience, quality diverse in-stock merchandise... so be it. Wal-Mart sucks. read more

I utilize the grocery pick up service at this local Walmart because I am disabled and I am noticing that the service is getting slower and slower and the substitution products aren't even close to the original, also the shoppers can't even count to make sure the substitution is just as many as the original order. Don't go after 6. We stood in line for 55 minutes, we timed it after we had stood for 15 minute. They only had two cashiers open, one of which was on her phone helping the SAME costumer for the Entirety of of waiting. I finally went and asked two women at customer service if there was any way they could open up any other registers because we have been waiting for so long, and the line was so bad it was starting to wrap around all of the clothes racks and into the back isles, the lady rolled her eyes at me and said we have everyone working that we can. We often hear really bad comments about Walmart shoppers and the poor image it gives the multi billion company. Well today, sadly, after years of shopping at Walmart I have to partially agree with some of the negative comments. But my review isn't based on the built (and not always truthful) stereotype. Because I don't feel that I fall in that category. I'm simply a frugal shopper who doesn't feel that any smart person should have to sacrifice their financial goals simply to maintain some sort of an image. Unfortunately, and for me personally, my review is based on the lack of customer service at this particular Walmart in Hesperia, CA on Main St. They appear to be overly staffed but when you ask for help everyone runs in utter panic that all you hear are the crickets chirping. Everyone seems to be hauling merchandise and no one knows what you are asking them because of the universal line "that's not my department." I get it if it's not their department but geese can they at least make an effort or at the minimum call someone to help you. The absolute worst service! I wish the Regional would step in and bring some good - very much needed change. read more

Old lady with white hair at cigarette checkout was so rude. Had to get a leash for my dog because I lost mine in travel. Grabbed a chew toy to keep him busy. Went to her check out and she threw the leash in the bag. When I got back to my hotel the chew toy wasn't in the bag. I had to go back over there and get him another one. The store is clean and the employees are not as rude here as they are at the Victorville location. I normally come here at night when target is closed and I need something. They have killer deals on Halloween costumes and decor. You will not find a cheaper price anywhere even online. I found a costume here that was the same brand and exactly the same as spirit shop was selling for 59.99. Walmart price I'm not kidding it was 15.99. I was so excited and even bought upgrades at another store to look amazing. They have nice home decorating stuff and it's a great price. Dec.22nd. Store#4340 Register#2: My family and I had four (4) items to purchase. We decided to go through "SPEEDY CHECKOUT" as self checkout was packed. Our cashier (Jamie) did not understand "speedy" in speedy checkout. She had one mode and that was "slot mode". At this time of year consumers are in a hurry. The last thing they want to do is wait in line with an inexperienced cashier at the register. Walmart has been around long enough to know that time is money and they should have their best cashiers running the registers (during a holiday). On another topic. As we were walking toward the entrance of the store we notice the strong smell of sewage floating in the air. Everyone knows sewage is not a pleasant smell and usually indicates a plumbing problem. We'll see if they respond to the e-mail I sent, and have one of their inspectors investigate the issue. read more

This Walmart has turned into a complete nightmare! I purchased a vacuum a couple months ago, get home open the box and there was someone's old dirty vacuum inside! When I went to return it I was treated horribly, like I was the one that put the dirty old vacuum in there, so, I swore off every going back (took me over 2 hours to get them to exchange it, they finally did, I never wanted my money back I just wanted what I paid for). Well, since it's so close to home I caved in and went back, my mistake. First of all they rip out all these cash registers and put in self check, then loose too much money so they close down the self checks (understandably) now with so few check stands open makes some people nuts, I was literally attached by some lady that was angry she was in line today, what does management do? sit and watch, apologize to me (like what's that doing someone should have called security) my finger is messed up because the lady wouldn't stop pushing her cart into me. Time to focus on a better place to shop, Target is worth the extra mile, at least the customers are safe and treated with respect, store is much cleaner as well. Worst management I've ever seen!
