I can't believe I'm leaving a review on a Walmart but here I am. To start, the store itself was fine, different than the ones I'm used to visiting but I enjoyed that about it. It had a lot of stuff the other Walmarts in the area don't have. Here's where they went wrong. The lack of professionalism from people who are paid more money than the rest of the employees. Two coaches hobbling around on a walk through of the store, talking amongst themselves, normal. Except for when a family of four crossed their path and apologized for being in the way, and they continued their walk in silence for a moment before continuing to cruise by with their lack of manners and rotten attitudes. No acknowledgment of our apology, no hello, nothing. Am I mad over the lack of being greeted? No. I feel disrespected because we have two children with us and we were getting them in order for which we apologized for possibly being a hinderance and they don't have the respect to acknowledge our existence. Did they forget about there fact that their bonuses are a direct reflection of their sales? Have they forgotten who the buyers are? Are they ignorant to the fact that without the people they apparently look down upon, those bonuses wouldn't be so good, would they? The names of the "coaches" were Tasha and Joe?- I believe. The last thing I'll say is that they need to be coached for the blatant disregard for customers. Obviously they are used to acting that way towards others, I can't imagine how their team feels having to endure their poor attitude and lack of consideration. They have no social awareness and must have forgotten about the 5 foot rule. Poor customer service, terrible attitudes and -1,000,000 aura points for setting a shitty example. read more

Normal Walmart experience... but with an added twist. I needed to use the restroom and an off-duty worker was clocked out for the day and saw that I needed the bathroom in the front of the store and there was a cleaner in there, blocking entry. She walked over and asked if I needed a bathroom and graciously walked me back to the electronics department where there is a second bathroom. Incredible service. I'm just sad I didn't catch her name or I would've raved to her manager about her. If you are a maybe 5' woman and walked me (and my daughter) back just to be kind and got paid nothing for it, please know I greatly appreciate your help and kindness. We bought a box of Vegan Pistachio bars, and ASSUMEING. Walmart was a decent business, we started eating them, it wasn't until we got to the 3rd bar we noticed something was wrong, as the 3rd bar was as hard as a rock! confused, we check the date on the food. it's from December 2024! 5 MONTHS AGO! Walmart should not be in business, if they cant even put eatable food on the shelf. completely unacceptable. read more

It can't be real that I'm giving Walmart such a high review, but I had such a surreal experience in here the other day. I've been coming here for years and it was never such a shining experience. I even remember when this piece of land was still just trees. I stopped in on a weekday afternoon to grab a few of the items the neighborhood market doesn't carry. I usually avoid this store simply because of the atrocious traffic situation in getting here. I don't know if they had big wigs visiting or what, but the staff seemed to be in double force and full of vigor. Every aisle I turned down I was being greeted with a smile cheerfully asking how my day was and welcoming me to the store. When I couldn't find something, one such employee actually led me to the item rather than just pointing me to it. Meanwhile, others were actively facing shelves while the store was bustling with customers. I know this isn't an everyday situation for this store, but if it's still an all-around good supercenter location once you push through all that traffic in town. Make no mistake, this Walmart is still a cesspool of rude and useless employees on any other day. read more

Went in to Hope Mills store about 5:30 p.m to get a protective case and car charger for my new iPhone 14. Of course, as I've been led to expect, these items are locked up. The case where they were locked was right in front of electronics service desk, which two associates were manning. One associate was busy with customer. The other associate was ringing non-electronics customers out at register. Neither associate acknowledged my presence. When the one at register was done ringing customers, I said "excuse me, I would like to get a case and charger out of cabinet." The other associate, who was now done with her customer, put her purse on counter and spoke loudly over me to associate I was addressing, apparently for her to do something else, so she turned away from me and started doing something else. I waited another 5 minutes, ignored. I then went to customer service desk to request a manager. An associate went to get manager. The person I recognized as a manager came from behind desk, walked right past me without saying anything. I stood there another 5 minutes then walked out. Will never return to that location. Considering boycotting Walmart for good. read more

I had a veh battery delivered. It cost $150. It didnt fit my car. When I got to the auto service department, with the battery, they refused to return it even though had processed it online and only needed them to scan the bar code I was provided. There tire center closes at 6pm on Saturday. Me and three other people got there at 6pm on Saturday and we all had to change our own flats out front of the tire center in the heat because of incorrect hours posted. There was even a Walmart employee standing by the door at tire center with it open just waiting to get off. The hours posted are lies. read more

I don't ever plan to take my car here again. They were kind enough to mess up my oil pan and has taken five months, at this point, to call me back and set up a time to get it fixed. Horrible service and experience all around. When I try to call the insurance and find another representative to get help with this issue, I hung up the phone at the 2 hour and 45 minute mark. read more

Wonderful customer service after an issue today. The issue was that I accidentally scanned a coupon at self checkout that first appeared to work; but after I paid it prompted me that the coupon wasn't actually accepted. I then asked the self checkout cashier about it after explaining the issue and she sent to me customer service. After waiting a long time in line at customer service, I just left the store without even getting through that line. I wasn't happy about waiting in line a second time, especially after leaving the store without using the coupon, so I called back to speak to a manager. The store manager that picked up, Jerrard, apologized to me for waiting twice and asked me to come back in when I could so that he could make it right. When I came back in, I thought he was going to give me the coupon amount off with my receipt, but instead he had the front end manager meet me with a $25 gift card. This was a very nice gesture and I really appreciated it. I wasn't expecting that much over the issue- I thought it was just going to be the coupon amount, which was very nice and a wonderful way to treat a customer. read more

The customer service at the deli is terrible. Very frustrating to wait patiently yet the employees simply ignore you.

Customer service here is absolutely the worst in Fayetteville. It's like they do their best to hide from you and then when you do find someone to finally help you they act like you are seriously inconveniencing them. I only come here if I absolutely have too and I normally go to Harris Teeter and Food Lion or order on Amazon. But had to come here today because I needed something today the others don't carry it. I usually avoid this store at all costs! I would rather go to the neighborhood market to get what I need because it's much less crowded...that being said, I had to go there tonight because my son ordered something with his birthday gift card and we had it delivered to the store. The woman at the pick up desk, her name was Cynthia, was awesome, she was super nice, very personable, and had a great attitude, even though she works retail during the holidays I would go there every day if I could deal with her. This is my happy place.... I cannot stand any other Walmart but this one. It's structured well, it has all options, the people are nice - minus one guy who rolls carts but thinks he is God's gift on earth (eye roll - he reeks of dumb arrogance), there's barely a long wait, and it's always clean. read more

One of the dirtiest stores I have been in!!! Unorganized, lazy no sense of urgency. But Walmart as a store has great prices and some of the stuff other stores don't have. Was not impressed. I think I'll stick with Harris teater and SAMs club. read more

I don't know why I keep coming to this store. Only 4 registers open and at least 10 people waiting in each line. I don't know if the store isn't staffed properly or if the staff just doesn't care. But when hundreds of folks are shopping on a Tuesday night, you'd think the store would want their patrons to spend money. One look at the lines and we left. DO NOT BUY MEAT HERE. Their delivery truck must've broke down somewhere before reaching their destination or their meat dept. is slacking. Bought a bag of chicken quarter legs here and got it home and it was stinking so bad, We didn't smell it in the store. I rushed to get it back to the store, only to have the Ass. Manager, Julie, blame it on everyone except the store. She claimed there might have been a pinhole in the bag. NOPE! The bag was not leaking. Then tried to blame it on other customers that they picked the bag up and threw it back down in the bin with the other chicken. REALLY???? The chicken was contaminated and the meat dept. smells. So there is no telling what could be wrong with the other meat. read more

I would say that it's an above average Walmart. I've never ran into any rude employees like at some of the other Walmarts, but it's nothing super special about this place either. Worth giving a shot though, they always have what I need. read more
