Everything! I have tried to continue shopping with Walmart because everybody knows I use to love me some WallyWorld! Since I became Disabled and had to start getting groceries and stuff delivered, they are HORRIBLE to SAY the LEAST! I'm diabetic and have mobility issues! So just to give you a heads up, I placed an order and paid for 3 hours or less! They didn't come at all! They told me they couldn't deliver the groceries because they would have to send the money back in 7-10 days! So I paid again because I needed food, they canceled that order! When my nurse got there the next day my blood sugar had dropped so low I was about to go into a diabetic coma! She could barely awake me! She ran and gave me peanut butter and a coke to stabilize my blood sugar! When I tried to get up I fell and hurt my right side where I had previously had a stroke! I'm warning everyone about the crookedness of Walmart! Mr. Sam, is flipping in his grave, because he was concerned about the well being of his customers!!! What Happened???? Also week two and I haven't received my groceries or my money back! Do anyone know of an attorney that can help me SUE WALMART! Enough is enough! They took my OTC Benefits! It's a ok place to go shopping I just would not buy the meat from there. I also would check your stuff that's supposed to be closed as I got peanut butter and it was open with what looked like fingers have been in it. The parking is hard always no matter what time you go. read more

This Walmart recently went through a remodel. All though the store looks way better than before, the number of self checkouts went down and it isn't as convenient as it was before. The store also has 2 large self checkout areas, but 1 side is never in use! This is just poor management. I understand the business is trying to minimize theft but minimizing self checkouts creates longer wait times for customers. Please open your self checkout area that continues to collect dust. read more

Dorian is an awful worker . We tried to purchase glue for glasses and my dad had his ID , just because I scanned the item , he wasn't able to purchase it. So I said okay , he will get the items, scan and purchase with his card and ID . NOPE SHE REFUSED . she said he couldn't purchase it even if he did that? Awful customer service ! AWFUL ! I can get the same glue at my local dollar store or grocery store . Kudos to management at this Walmart location the store was clean, organized, and well stocked. The employees were pleasant and helpful. The overall experience was delightful. It's a shame this Walmart is not my neighborhood store, however, I will definitely be back when I am in the area. read more

I went to transfer money and had to stand on the line for over an hour with only three customers in front of me!

I order pickup on a regular basis. Oftentimes, their shoppers pick items that are about to expire. Walmart expects me to go into the store to return these items. I should be able to expect fresh meats and produce. Their shoppers don't care and Walmart doesn't care about my inconvenience. read more

The customer service at this Walmart is a joke. I came here looking to buy a small piece of fabric for a project I was working on and I could not get any service at all. After walking around for a bit I was able to find a customer rep to call another customer rep to be fabric section. After about ten minutes of waiting, no one came by. I then tried again and still no one came by. After about another ten minutes of waiting next to other customers needing fabric, I decided to call the store using my cell phone. I thought my idea would work and my dreams were going to come true... but no... after even more waiting, no one came. I then tried again, but this time I requested the manager because I was trying to beat rush hour traffic. After even more waiting, the assistant manager finally came out, but instead of finding someone for me, she actually cut the fabric for me. She apologized when I lightly informed her about the experience, but I felt little efficacy in the cause because most of the employees there just don't care. I also felt like she was used to customers unleashing loads of complaints so I spared her my full rant and just left the store. There is no such thing as a "quick Walmart run" (even before rush hour). My simple purchase should have taken ten minutes but ended up taking way longer. If you can, avoid this place unless you really have time to spare. read more

Most of my items were mildew and I threw away. I should've brought everything back but had work later on waste of my time! They must have toddlers making selections. Worst experience ever! WalMart lost a customer today. We generally spend $500-1000 every month at the store at 5655 E. Sam Houston Parkway, Houston, TX 77015 and we've generally been satisfied. However, today WalMart elected to close ALL staffed cashier stations and had only the self-check out open. I am not an employee of WalMart and my wife and I are disabled. It is difficult for us to do self-check out even if they had enough space on the counters where the self-check is to be done. I will happily take my business elsewhere. Even if I wind up spending a little more to have a live person doing the check-out work I will happily do so. I wonder how many other senior citizens and handicapped people will opt out. In my opinion, WalMart loses. I'd bet there will be no reply to this very critical review. read more

Oct. 07, 2022 Robbie Johnson violated my Civil Rights, ADA Title 3 by refusing me entry with my Service Dog! Even after trying to explain he's a Psychiatric Service Dog, she stated, "YOU CAN'T COME IN HERE WITH THAT DOG", This woman has caused me so much stress, sadness, heartache, embarrassment, breathing problems and awful aweful panic attacks and I can't eat, of I do, i throw it up. I'm refusing to leave home. My therapist is working with me with these issues. Walmart has been reported to DOJ and Walmart Global Ethics. We have shopped this Walmart ever since it opened... My husband and I shopped here two evenings ago... He left his basket at the end of an aisle just to walk down the aisle and pick up one item. When he went back to his basket, it was gone. After searching the store for over 10 minutes, He went to the customer service center where the basket was basket was already being restocked. We had been in the store for 45 minutes shopping and this was very upsetting. The manager... Clarence... Told him that that was store policy. Ugh! Anyone whose read my reviews before knows I will slam Wal-Mart in a minute because I DO NOT like the place at all. If it's not the long lines, it's the kids running around tearing up the aisles. If it's not bad butt kids, it's rude employees. It's just not a place a prefer to spend my time and my money. Therefore, I was disappointed that I passed up the HEB and had to get my shopping done here unless I wanted to go out of my way to drive. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I shopped at this Wal-Mart location. There were quite a few lanes open--one which happened to open up when I got in line. The shelves were stocked and organized pretty well, and wild kids were either in school or at home because the children were quite tame on my visit--thank goodness. The employees were very sweet too. I had just given blood that day and when I pulled up my sleeve, I caught the bandage at the same time and said, "Ouch." The cashier asked if i was okay. I explained to her the situation, which we had a big laugh about at the end, but I appreciated her humanity. Besides the location having a pretty full parking lot in the middle of the day and the restroom needing a little attention, I could actually ALMOST see myself shopping at Wal-Mart again--in a crisis--but at least I won't cringe at the thought of having to go inside of one if i need to! read more

I have a love/hate relationship with Walmart. Love their prices, hate that they are always packed. So I try going really early in the morning to pick up what I need. My card was fraudulently used 3 times back to back in this store. Store #3500. 3 times IN LESS THAN 10 minutes. My bank notified me after blocking the 3rd transaction and I recovered my funds. I could not settle for this because crooks are getting away with stealing from hard working people. I called the "Cash Office" with all the fraud information needed for them to immediately research the problem and check the footage, my details, etc. Yet, nothing. Imagine waking up early and trying to come get a PlayStation like everyone else at 7am. Only to find out they were only doing it if you had a ticket they handed out without ANYONE Knowing except for-those who handed them out. It was never explained or said you had to have a ticket to reserve and purchase yours... I literally saw 6 Re sellers with tickets and I know this was done purposely.... What a surprise that it was a today only kind of thing MAD suspicious, and they pointed out a small tiny sign that wasn't able to be seen because THERE WAS ONLY 1 small one that was hand made and the resellers were all balled up covering it up. Today I went to go get a oil change at this Walmart since they have an auto center. I've gone to many places for my oil change but I decided to give them a chance. At the time I had to get a new cabin filter and air filter installed. I waited for an hour which is longer than some places I go to, but I did not mind. Plus, it was cheaper. After they finished they were suppose to inform me when it was ready but I watched them pull my car out and wait over 30 minutes till I had to get up and ask if it was ready and it was! That's not the big issue. My issue is when I got to my car they had taken everything out of my glove compartment and put it on my passenger side floor! My car is messy yes but you do not put my sensitive documents on the floor including a spare wallet I had out in the open. I went back to ask who did my car and this African American man with dreads came over and told he had serviced my car. I asked him why was my stuff on the floor and not placed back? He told me it was a lot of mess and he had to take it out to fix the cabin filter. (Which is fine cause I knew they had to proceed like that) Then he further explained that it was my fault I had all this trash in my glove compartment and he didn't know it was trash or not. Anyone can see some of the stuff wasn't trash, but his attitude was not needed and he just walked off like I was the stupid messy hoarder. This is not right and I even inform the manager and he agreed with me but it didn't sit well with me. I work like everyone else in customer service and treat everyone the same no matter who they are, but the way I was treated and talked to didn't make sense. This is a typical WAl-MArt; long lines, slow service, difficulty getting someone to help you. It is painfully obvious that their staff is very unhappy and probably treated badly. They are a big company so I guess they think they dont need to treat people like humans. I remember back in the day when Wal-Mart was the cheapest and nicest places to go; it is opposite. Today WM are getting more and more expensive (same or more than Kroger on many items) and dirty, stinky, overcrowded, and unsafe parking lots. The cashiers don't smile, the bakery people take forever to help you. REALLY? Treat your employees like they matter, pay them better and your store will come up fast I am SURE of it! This is the absolute worst location in customer service. It started with the greater that wouldn't part her lips to great us as we walked in. She tried to turn away to not make eye contact but I never get this treatment in Barrett Station. As we went to the sporting goods area to get one item, we asked an associate to assist with the locked case. She grudgingly tried to open it then stated that she didn't work in this area. After her feeble attempt, she then suggested that I give it a try. I had to let her know that I didn't work for Walmart and did she think she should call for help?? At that point she just walked away without words. I found her on the next isles stocking and asked if she was able to call someone else for assistance. With a wave of her hand she coughed/laughed out, "Yeah". That is when we had someone to call supervisor Ashley, who was customer oriented. Even if she doesn't do anything, she made me feel heard for that moment. I will never visit this store again. This was my second visit in the last 3 days and it just got worst. All employees need to go through customer service training again! read more

Wow where do I start, my husband went in today to purchase a bike for our sons birthday, purchased the bike and got a 2 year warranty. Started to leave and realized he didn't receive a receipt. He walked back to the cashier and asked for a receipt, and the cashier couldn't find his purchase. So my husband had to wait over an hour while managers "looked at the camera" to see if he purchased the bike. Well they didn't look at their cameras. And then proceeded to tell him that he had to leave the bike there, until they find his purchase in their system. Even when we have proof on our bank statement. We refused to leave the bike there, we know we purchased the bike! They can jot down all our information if they want! We know we are in the right. So disappointed in you Walmart. read more

As with all WalMarts, the selection of products is great. This particular store appears poorly managed on the local level. I rarely get though the check out lines in less than 10 minutes. Expect long lines. read more
