This is my second review for this walmart because i thought i'd change my mind but no. I don't mean to sound like a karen because im a good person but my god its so hard to find an employee who actually gives a damn in this walmart, electronic department employees are so rude and look like they don't even want to work there, customer service employees are rude as hell and refused to give me my money i got from coinstar, the walmart is fine, its getting the remodel it needed but god, its the employees who make this place horrible, hire better people! read more

The customer service is extremely poor. Never will I visit this establishment again. I waited over 30 minutes for an associate to unlock a cabinet in the pet aisle. I would like to also add that my elderly grandmother was waiting for me and she suffers from arthritis. She does not have a phone so I had no way of contacting her and letting her know why I was taking so long. I had to walk around the store to ask a random associate for help and to my surprise she was able to unlock the cabinet. I was furious. My grandmother had to wait for me standing for more than 30 minutes. I then proceeded shopping, grabbed two more items and found that she was gossiping to another employee about our recent interaction and it was completely rude and unprofessional of her. I Then decided to make a formal complaint and asked another associate if she could help me, she said "I don't know if I can". She was an Old woman named Brenda I believe. I asked her to speak with the supervisor and I then waited 20 more minutes. No one showed up. I spoke to no one and Brenda did not provide me with any further details about the status of the supervisor. I even spoke to another woman who was throwing away trash if service was always this bad and she said yes. I asked her if it would be better to call and complain and she said yes so I left. I then called twice and after three minutes of being on hold each time the phone call was cut from their end. I will be complaining to the higher ups and I WILL be submitting several formal complaints to several different agencies. This is honestly so frustrating. DO NOT SHOP HERE. read more

I was trying to purchase an item that was locked in a case, when I asked the clerk for help she said she would after helping others. I waited & waited ony to find her laughing & talking to a coworker,I told her that she forgot about me. She Never apologized & was rude,never saying thank you after purchasing my item there. This review is for the curbside pickup. These guys are so quick. They always answer the phone and come out with my items very quickly. I actually have a Walmart about 5 minutes from me and I refuse to go there. I drive farther to this location because their service is so fast. I can actually get to this Walmart, get my items, and get home BEFORE I could get my groceries from the location that is closer to me. So keep up the good work! Where to start on this store! I used to enjoy coming to this Walmart location over the Super Center location on Wallisville because it was rarely busy, there was always a lot of parking, they had the items I wanted, and you could get in and get out quickly. The homeless problem at the location was mild, you'd only randomly be approached and begged. Now? You can hardly ever find a decent parking spot, they're always sold out of a bunch of items, the homeless problem has gotten close to epidemic status with homeless people virtually everywhere. It's gotten so bad that they're hanging decorations under the overpass and every time it rains, you can smell piss a mile away. Today was the final straw for me. I was in a hurry and needed gas, so I parked at the pump, ran into the gas station, and stood in line until I got to the window. The clerk looks at me like I'm insane and tells me that she REFUSES to serve me without a mask. I'm like, I just need $20 on pump 2, she tells me to go back to my car, get a mask, and stand back in line. The new Swift gas station on Uvalde got my business today, as for the I-10/Freeport Walmart, they'll never get my money again. read more

Do not use this location for your photo needs. One hour photo turned into a week. I needed them the next day and couldn't get them to answer the phone in the photo department and the lady transferring the calls was less than enthusiastic to help me. Get an email stating they are ready only to arrive and find an unorganized mess with workers who can't find their ass with both hands. Five minutes of waiting and excuses he did find them. Upped from a one star to a two as the guy who helped me didn't even work in photos but tried to help anyways. He was a decent guy trying to help. read more

Came to the Walmart on east freeway and waited 30 minutes for someone to attend us at the bakery section, and nobody approached us. After waiting for so long I asked a deli worker for help when she stated "there's supposed to be someone up there, hold on" Then she proceeded to go to the back and was there for a few minutes when she came back and said that they were not taking orders. Again wasting about 45 minutes of my time. Do not recommend coming here. read more

Avoid this Walmart like the plague. There was two employees smoking within five feet of the front entrance. I wanted to try on some slacks and I waited by the fitting room nobody showed up. I asked 3 different employees to please page someone to the fitting room so I could try on some slacks and they just kept saying they will be in a little bit. I kept asking to please page them they refused to page them. Everytime that I come here they have an attitude if it wasn't for the red box in the Walmart I would never come in this walmart. Actually I'm never coming back here again. This is the worse walmart I have ever been to. The employees are so disrespectful and rude. I went in there for one thing and needed to get a glass door unlocked. After asking 7 employees on duty and waiting 25 minutes just for someone to come unlock it for me and be rude, this resulted in me being late to an important event, this walmart needs to be closed down. read more

Why this place looked like Black Friday in March is ridiculous! At nighttime, I expected less foot traffic, but plenty of people were out and about trying to shop. Unfortunately, there were on 5 lanes open with people doing serious cart loading, so the lines did not inch one bit! Lines like these really make you consider what you were going to buy is worth the money. It may have been worth the money, but not my time--left the few items I had someone and left. I'm not a Wal-Mart fan anyway--this visit solidified my reservations of going into anymore Wal-Marts in the near future! read more

Is there an option to select ZERO star? This Walmart is just ridiculous. I called to ask for help regarding an item to make sure they have it in their store to save me a trip if it's not available. They transferred me to the right department. 1 minute later the same person answered it back and said please hold. 5 minutes later, complete silence. It was like I was put on hold until I just hang up phone and give up. What a total waste of my 10 minutes. read more

Stocking the departments should be done at night - not during busy daytime hours and only a few registers open when there are many, many of them all throughout the entire front of the store. read more

Initially this happened two years ago. I went to get 4 new tires, it took them three hours, they said they were short some employees. Horrible, just horrible, I went in to exchange my battery and they told me to go to the battery department. The lady (Sabrina) was being so rude saying she couldn't exchange my battery because it was "damaged" when I had bought it just the day before and wasn't even used. Then I contradicted her and asked her how it could be damaged and she didn't have nothing else to say but that the battery was dirty. Then she said she couldn't do anything and had to call someone and then I am waiting for a whole hour for someone to show up and nothing ...... then they told me finally to go back to customer service where I FREAKING STARTED, and this lazy ass lady named Elsa working at the customer service told me again to exchange at the hardware place, and I told her I just came from there and they told me to come back over to the customer service... she then gave me the nastiest attitude and was being bluntly rude. However finally this nice lady made the exchange. I cannot believe I was treated this way, this used to be my favorite Walmart and I used to be a daily customer but guess that is going to change. read more

I'd give 0 stars if I could! Walmart needs to clean out all them rude as employees they have there! The Walmart as a whole is 3 stars. The employees are lazy and NEVER know where items are at and always send you off to someone who doesn't know any better. The pharmacy has a good lead pharmacist, but lately the employees working there are unprofessional and rude. I wouldn't even rate it a 1 star. I'm very dissatisfied with the way I was treated today. I never had an employee check my bags continuously like she forgot what was in there. You use one coupon and all hell brakes lose, they treat you like you are stealing. I've been followed in this particular Walmart several times. This is my local store, I'm in there at least 5 times a week. They need to memorize my face and stop harassing me. Now this story gets even better...I spoke to a manager before I went about my business, he didn't even know that they no longer took internet printables. He's a manager and was clueless. So here I am at checkout and the lady says," I can't take these!" I said, "why not they scan perfectly well?" "We don't take printables!" She was scanning them all mad and triple checking my bags. I only had 3 bags. Some fruits, water, meat, and a baby item. They also said that the coupon has to match the picture on it. Like the manufacturer has all the space in this tiny coupon to put all their products??!! Wtf!! Y'all are ridiculous! If it states "on any Schick razor" what does that mean? Read the print. I think some of you are salty and need to start couponing and save your families some money like I do. Quit hating. Do your job, scan it and give me my items. The manufacture WILL reimburse the store. If you guys don't want our business then put a big sign outside saying "no couponers allowed" I guarantee you that y'all will be out of a job real quick. read more

Within the last week I have been to this Walmart at least three times to retrieve the same two online orders that was not ready upon my arrival and another that became ready only after I brought the product to the customer service area, was told they would be unable to fulfill the order and then with 10 minutes or less of my leaving the store. I was told my one employee when asked what I needed that they would not assist me because I was there to retrieve and online order. If I could rate this Walmart less than one star I would. I completely understand this being the holiday season and the influx of customer demand but the store is under staffed, unorganized and inattentive to the customer needs. While waiting I've noticed other customers who are returning for the second and/or third time. I over hear confusion about customer orders and customers being told they are unable to locate this purchases. So much for this being your Friendly Local Neighborhood Walmart Store. read more

busy store...just went in for some automotive cleaning products. not the best walmart but it was ok.

I was at this Wal Mart last week and the service their is horrible.. I forgot a bag there and when I called to pick it up they said that someone else had picked it up... Now mind you I do even live in this area just passing through. But they kept saying well mam one of our friends must have picked it up.. Well after 3 phone calls and a threat to call the police to have the camera film reviewed.. Then they finally said well I guess well will let you have the stuff.. So when I got there I had to go back through the store to pick the contents of the bag out again... And there reason for saying that someone else had picked it up it that the checker who checked us out signed on the wrong line making it look like someone had come and picked up the stuff.. Ok if that was the case then Why did I have to go and get all the stuff of the self again? Anyways I called walmart headquarters and they said oh we are sorry when is the next time you will be in the store here in houston.. I said never again at this location.... read more
