Walmart cares nothing for it's customers. If you go to a store and ask for a person in charge they try every way to get you to go away. If you do get to talk to someone in charge you are automatically told to leave if you try and loge a complaint. The Walmart in Crosby TX has to. E the absolute worse . There is never shopping carts available or sanitizing wipes for the carts, but there is a dispenser for the wipes that's always empty. Always see police vehicles by the front doors, because they're about to make another arrest for theft/shoplifting. The only reason I came here was the name Walmart in the middle of huge parking lot at Northline Commons Mall. I was cold and hungry. I walked in and I already didn't like what I saw. There were lots of people on a Tuesday night. Mostly working class families buying TV and toys. I had to look at my calendar app several times making sure it's not Christmas. The store layout is extremely awkward. I accidentally found what I wanted for over a month. It was a measuring tape. And, it was a dollar. That was cheaper than the online price. But I wouldn't come to this store just for dollar stuff. When I was checking out my purchases, I saw a couple of machines open. As I was scanning, I noticed a lady with a cart standing next to me. I looked at her and thought I must had jumped in front of her. I told her, "sorry I didn't see you." She saw me almost done, said "it's ok. go ahead." The guy rescan the items 2 time with my recipe in my hand. He Didn't Id me for the alcohol., but want to rescan it two times. He scanned my ticket to make sure the number was right. After he realized that I didn't steal anything all the numbers match he told me to get out the store he never offered me an apology so I asked him can I speak to his supervisor . He still ordered me to get out the store before I can speak to the supervisor . I did not move I held the line up until the supervisor come to speak to me . No supervisor never came up to me so I went around the store to find a supervisor to report what just happened to me . There's no reason to be discriminated against it's not a good feeling . I stopped by this Walmart with intent to grab a few quick groceries. When I arrived and entered there were not shopping carts. I walked down to the other entrance, still no shopping carts. So I asked a Walmart employee if it would be possible to get a shopping cart. The employee stated to me: "If you want a shopping cart you will have to go find one in the parking lot." SO NOW I HAVE TO WORK AT WALMART TO SHOP THERE? I decided that the Fiesta up the street would not require me to search for a shopping cart. Oddly, as I exited the Walmart I noted that a large number of shopping carts were stored outside out of reach of customers and, yes, there were carts in the parking lot. read more

Today's walmarts visit went horribly wrong. I understand walmart had 15 minutes before closing time but the employees were very disrespectful towards customers. I believe it was a manager who was rushing towards the checkout lines and he pushed a customer and started yelling "NEXT CUSTOMER" over and over. I understand they are also renovating this walmart to make it seem more professional however a store cannot thrive only on looks. This is such a nasty Walmart. I don't like this already and knowing I have to come here for a few simple basic necessities that the Dollar Tree nor the .99 cent store wouldn't have.. I had no other choice since HEB is no where to be found in such a neighborhood like this one. The staff wasn't helpful that much and when it came to closing time tell me why they only had cashier running things and she was slow as molasses?! On top of that I spotted a baby roach crawling on the gum while I waited in line. I let out a small scream and was stared out by the cashier.. she didn't look like she cared when I told her I'd just seen a roach on the gum. So just letting you know not to buy gum here or any food here. You never know what could be hiding in the freezers or in them shelves. Also, while waiting in line periodically there was an associate walking around telling people it was closing time and we had to leave, but we were all in slow-poke line. The worst of all of them. Walmart review This Walmart needs new management. When this Walmart first open everything was okay then after a year everything about this location turned into a complete disaster. The store is completely unorganized. Most employees do not know where certain things are and are always on their phone. The employees need more training and need to follow the dress code. Upon my last visit I came to the conclusion it's time to write my review. The Walmart pharmacy needs to be replaced with new employees. Throughout my time waiting I had to witness racism (amalia) , I had to argue with an arrogant pharmacist and her employees to receive my medication ( Victoria) , and I was given false information by a rude employee ( Jorge) . Ahhhh Walmart. What can one really say about Walmart? We have this crazy love/hate relationship with Walmart. We all want to save money on every day items, but hate dealing with the swarms of people moving slowly up and down the supermarket isles, not to mention the headache it is just to check out and leave! Well...I've lived all over the country and have shopped at more than my fair share of Walmart stores. Rarely does a Walmart ever score higher than 2 stars in Yelp. Not to question the motives of my fellow Yelpers, but I always find it strange that reviews will judge so harsh on the same common flaws: long lines and bad/rude customer service. Think about it...isn't it more reasonable to just go in to a Walmart and simply expect long lines and rude people? Have you ever met a Walmart employee that was thrilled to be working there? I mean...this isn't the 90's when you had all those happy little old men and women working as greeters. Those days are long gone. This Walmart gets three stars because, for the most part, what I'm there to buy is in stock, and the grocery section is for the most part clean. There is also one sweet woman named Geraldine who checks your receipt on the way out, and she is soooo sweet. She always makes me smile. There are always homeless people outside the store and in the parking lot asking for money. Always...day or night they're there. All I have to say is avoid this location !!! It is conveniently located right off of 45@Crosstimbers; however, it's not a great experience because of the types of customers it draws! This place has the most trash managers I've ever encountered in my life. I had the unfortunate interaction with Ronnie, who looks like a child actor reject from Mayberry RFD. I was sending money via Walmart money services and the transaction was blocked AFTER they took my money. I called customer service and I was placed on hold twice. They tried to put me on hold for a third time and I told them I was going to get a refund from the cashier and I ended the call. When I tried to get a refund, I was told that I couldn't get a refund without talking to customer service. I told Ronnie that I shouldn't have to go through all of these changes in order to get my money back because it wasn't that hard to send the money. Walmart is playing this little game but they are really earning interest on our money while holding it. This is another profit center of the worst type. read more

I try to go to this Walmart because it is close to my job. I thought it would be easy to dip in after work for personal needs. Today was a mess. I picked up medication through the pharmacy drive through. The problem I see with this drive through is when you check in they can say it will be a few minutes and to be patient. The drive through employees for the pharmacy do no say anything, I push the buttons several times until they probably are annoyed with me. When the employee then assist me they have me wait over 5 minutes for medication that is ready and free. They get a 1 Star tonight. read more

You know this Walmart is new and all, but for some reason it had me feeling some type of way. Let me explain. So my best friend lives on the north side of town, and I'm more south... So this place was in the middle. We just decided to exchange exchange or gifts and do our walmart shopping. Great idea, so I thought!!! So we both arrive around the same time and parked next to each other. Let me start by saying this.... I am all for people becoming better people. This guy comes up to the car asking for money saying he found Christ and he's trying to get his life back together. Scared the hell out of me.. I am giving 5 stars not for the store in general, the VERY unfriendly "greeter" by the baskets or the clientele, but rather for the 2 associates that assisted us today. Jeff in the paint department & Gerald (not sure his department as he seemed to be helping everywhere) were both extremely helpful & attentive. They both were very quick to assist us even with a packed store. It was nice to have associates who seemed to actually enjoy their jobs & treat customers as actual people. Well...not sure what else I can add that any of the other reviews haven't covered. Plenty of parking, but be prepared to be asked for money by the abundant number of people that are loitering. There are some people that sell food like tamales. This I do not mind as much and the tamales were actually good the one time I bought. They have improved their produce area a bit, but I struggle to find items as common as parsley. This issue is location specific since I have been to other locations that have what I need. Boo! I think this applies to the majority of WalMarts, but boy oh boy....the friggin checkout lines! Why??!! They are always long and this gets people worked up. This is not a new issue and like I said, a common theme for WalMart. Staff is hit or miss. Some of the staff is friendly and helpful and others don't seem to care as much. I don't care either way since I prefer to look around for what I need anyway. They have the essentials and I could get away with doing my weekly grocery shopping here, but the accumulation of all the bad things is what keeps me from coming here. I know when I shop at this particular location, I know to not be pressed for time. read more

The Walmart on 1960 & Eldridge NEVER answers the phones. This morning I started calling at 8:03 and it was exactly 8:25 before someone had enough sense to answer the phone. At this moment I'm highly pissed because non-stop dialing Walmart pick up and delivery, the operator and even deli trying to get someone to answer the phone. Finally at 8:25 someone finally answered the phone. I asked to speak with a manager and after calling for 30 minutes the manager was no help at all. I hung up and called Walmart Customer Service and asked to speak with a supervisor. I don't know if Leo was actually a supervisor even though he said he was. If he really is a supervisor he need to go back through training because his customer service skills is one of the worst I've experienced. I hung up and called Walmart Customer Service again and finally I talked to a supervisor with good customer service skills and was concern about my situation. She handle everything and was very professional. The manager at 1960 and Eldridge should have took care of the issue and I shouldn't have had to call Customer Service twice before getting this issue taking care of. Walmart you have to do better in training your employees on how to utilize good customer service skills and hire some people to answer the phones. It's ridiculous to call for 30 minutes before someone answer the phone. read more

The only reason I went to this Walmart is because I was returning something at Rue 21 and this was right there. With that being said. Yeeeees it's kinda ghetto-although it is the furthest from the worst Walmart I've been to. The one on West Road is a disaster! BUT IT'S WALMART! If you came in expecting not to see pregnant women walking around with their stomachs out like it's cute, then shame on you!! You should have known better. I will say that this Walmart is unique in that the layout is not at all common amongst Walmarts in Houston (in my experience). This made things incredibly hard to find. I had to ask the staff where all but one of the items on my list could be found in the store. However the staff members were very nice and gave me detailed and accurate locations of all the items (with the exception of one). They were even very nice about me literally checking out and immediately walking to customer service to return some items that I was informed just as I finished paying I didn't need to buy. Three stars, two for the amount of items that I walked out of the store with and one for excellent staff. read more

God I hate this location, they don't help it's nasty someone took the middle of the floor for a restroom, the store is messy and it's products all over the floor. The food and bakery employees move with speed of a snail and ask you 5 or 6 times what's your order and please don't get me started on the cashiers you have 25 lines but yet you have only 8 lines open and the are moving at a snail's pace also. read more

They tried to make it look prettier on the inside but the staff is still horribly rude, and thanks to the trashy people that shop here along with the store acting like the parking lot belongs to the city, the lot is disgusting. If you want to wait in line for 20 minutes just to have your cashier walk away with no explanation then come here. Or if you want to step out of your car and into a pile of several used diapers. Let me start by saying : I truly wish that I would have read the reviews yesterday!! I came here on my way home from work, I am not familiar with this area at all and thought that since I was only going for a Softball glove, the reviews wouldn't pertain to me. BOY was I WRONG! The staff is rude, as stated in the previous reviews. This place is surrounded by homeless people asking for money, note I am NOT using the word "surrounded" loosely at all! This place is really busy which didn't really matter to me. After parking my care to go inside I was stopped 3x then when leaving this man with a baby in a stroller followed me to my car,I had my headphones in so imagine how frightened I was when I actually realized he had followed me. This location is by far the worst Walmart I have ever had the misfortune of visiting. The customer service is horrible beyond words! Particularly the 2 ladies that worked the watch and jewelry counter on the Friday evening of December 18th, 2020. It was a Hispanic woman and an older Black woman. Both of them were rude and ignorant . All I wanted was to buy a particular watch that was locked up behind a case . And both of those 2 lazy women completely ignored me and treated me like I was invisible or didn't matter. I am positively sure that if the color of my skin was whiter, they would have treated me differently and probably would have bent over backwards to assist me. They exibited zero customer service and zero class. And frankly, they should be fired and not allowed to work in retail or service industry ever again. Yes. They were that terrible! Absolutely the worst customer service that any Walmart in Houston has to offer. I had a return with my receipt and got denied the return. The ladies that work that service desk assume everyone is a shoplifter. I was fifth in line and three people in front of me had a bunch of merchandise they were returning without a receipt and they has no problems. This is not the first time this has happened. This was the seventh time and I've noticed a pattern. The same people working the desk and the same people returning things without a receipt.
