Do not go to this place for tires! We caught sidewall damage on OME Yokohama tire that Walmart happened to have in stock. I already had the wheel off as we needed the spare. Made an 8 AM appointment to swap the tire at what was a pretty reasonable price. My mistake! Over 2 1/2 hours later I was finally able to get out of there with the wheel, which I put back on the vehicle myself while they struggled to figure out the paperwork. There are plenty of other tire shops that for a little more money won't waste your time. read more

This is for the auto center. I brought my truck in for an oil change. Something about the oily finger prints on the hood made me want to check their work. The inside of the engine compartment was also stained with oil including around the filling hole. I also noticed oil dripping on the ground, so I went underneath for a quick Look. I found oil dripping off of the old, un replaced filter. I then checked the dipstick to find clean but not pristine oil. I had to put the truck up on ramps to confirm what they did. The oil filter was definitely the old filter as I mark them with a sharpie after every change with the date. As far as I can tell they unscrewed the oil filter and poured out the dirty oil and then put the old filter back on. Now if you are going to be that underhanded and screw your customers you might want to cover your tracks a bit better. I called corporate to report the incident and they said they will file a complaint but could not refund a service. I tried calling the store several times but could never speak to a person yet. I will keep trying as I expect a full refund as I can't trust that they put full synthetic oil in. read more

Crap customer service. Barely any checkers. Constantly increasing prices. Low stock on many items. Not my favorite place to shop anymore.

Many of the prices are intentionally miss labeled a continually overpay for things that are marked lower or conveniently don't have a price by them that are typically cheaper. I got a table that was listed as $29 and brought it clear to the front only for it to be $39 instead. We got a chicken that we thought would be seven dollars or less and ended up being closer to 17. This is extremely unethical highly recommend never shopping here or any Walmart ever. read more

Sat on hold waiting to get transferred to the clothing department for over 20 mins which is the entire drive to this place. Got there was still on hold, walked into the store still on hold, finally found an employee who was sitting in the floor chatting to another employee. Asked her about items and she out right said no we don't have that and told us to go to a completely different store. My wife walked away in upset and I asked the employee to scan an item I had picked up she said NO and kept saying go to a different establishment. We left and tried to call the store back to speak with a manager, was out on hold for another 10 mins, hung up and called again, was on hold again for another 5 to finally speak to a manager and he's basically said ya that shouldn't happen and I know who it was. Sorry. Called corporate and they where just as rude and useless in helping rectify the situation. I will not be shopping at this Walmart and will be telling people to stir clear of it. read more

I mean it is probably better than the Chubbuck one when it comes to size of the store and overall cleanliness , and closing Walmarts and Albertsons at midnight is probably an Idaho thing ,I am getting used to it (make us appreciate Winco more )... What is disappointing is an extremely poor choice of beverages for such a big store . We visited at the end of August and I was trying to buy some swim diapers unsuccessfully the lady I asked for help did not provide much assistance store only had 1 small size and she told me something about the end of season ...Which season was meant ? Idaho is not Arizona or Nevada the big difference between the day and night temperature makes it unreasonable to own an outdoor pool and last time I checked most indoor swimming pools such as the ones in the hotels can be used all the year around. read more

No one bothers to enforce mask requirements. While I was there, half the customers either weren't wearing a mask or were wearing it incorrectly. Covid cases in this area have been steadily escalating and everyone seems shocked. Don't have a giant sign saying "masks required" and then not care if no one wears them. How I dislike Walmart, but I must admit they have almost everything you'd need. The grocery, home utilities, and all the things one might need. The vegetables here are kind of overpriced, but I'm not exactly sure if this is the going rate for all supermarkets here in Idaho Falls. I'm comparing the prices of vegetables here vs in California, and vegetables in Los Angeles are much cheaper and so are the meats. But overall in terms of a one stop shop for supplies to cook dinner with on our road trip, Walmart fulfilled most of our needs. read more

Re: Tire and Lube Center If I could give zero stars, I would. I guess it's my fault for seeking car repair on a Sunday, but I was desperate. I was in the midst of a huge road trip with family and kids. We had run over a nail or screw the day before and were riding on a spare. While it was a perfectly good spare, we didn't feel comfortable travelling without a fifth wheel. So, I got there early, and was second in line. All I needed was for them to patch or replace my tire, mount it, balance it, install it on the vehicle, and toss the spare in the back. I got there at 9:01, I was written up at 9:28. It took until 10:45 before they pulled a new tire from the rack to start my order. I asked what was taking so long. One guy explained that they only had 3 technicians today. Really? It takes 3 techs over an hour and a half to install the 4 new tires ordered by the guy in front of me? I asked two more times about it, and got very absent minded excuses from the lady working both the automotive and the sporting goods counters simultaneously. By 1145, I went back and asked one of the technicians what the status was. He told me they were done and pointed to my tire leaning up against the outside wall. When I reminded him that they were supposed to install it too, I got a testy reply, "all our bays are full, so you'll have to wait until one opens up." They have 7 bays, and only 3 were occupied. Judging by how long it took for 3 techs to install four tires, I calculated that for the 3 to individually install between 6 and 12 tires, total, was far longer for this customer to have to wait! So, I jacked up my van right there in the parking lot and finished the job myself, the job I payed them to do, right there, in front of the other customers. What surprised me the most was that even though all the techs saw me too, none of them said a word to me. None offered to help. No one. Nothing. In my humble opinion, for what it's worth, if I saw a customer get so frustrated that he took to completing a job we were hired to do himself, it would have been "all hands on deck". We would have dropped everything at that point, apologizing profusely the entire time, to finish what we had started. I guess work ethic and customer service are lost arts these days. After all that, I went back inside the main store and informed management. I figured since they have already wasted 3 hours of my time, what's a few minutes more? This is an utter breakdown in organization and work ethic. Management needs to know, or else how would they know anything needs fixing? I write this review to the public to ensure everyone involved is aware of the problem, as well as management's stated commitment to customer satisfaction. read more

Walmart has increased the cost of mount and balance by almost double.So your 37 dollar tires can easily cost 65$ with road hazard,balance etc.12 dollars for balancing is ridiculous. I never thought I'd ever shop at Walmart for groceries. Not because it's beneath me, but because I'm a natural grocery store/health food kind of shopper. I guess I should never say never... We stopped by here to grab groceries on our way to Yellowstone. Being that this is a "superstore" I was impressed at their large selection, and even better, some organic options. Overall, a total of 7 of us with various tastes, all found what we needed. One star is high for the service I received considering I didn't receive any. Was trying to get my paint mixed and waited for someone to show for 5 minutes and nobody did. I found the nearest employee and she directed me to the sports department because she was off the clock. He said he would page someone in, which he did, but no one showed for 10 minutes. The same sports employee then walked by and paged in again only for no one to show for another five minutes. I then proceeded to the gardening department and asked if they could page someone in and no one showed for another 5 minutes. Spent over 30 minutes waiting for paint only to never receive it. Would only shop here if you don't need to rely on customer service. If you plan on buying paint take your service to Home Depot. read more

Checked on line for item needed in the paint department before traveling 20 miles to purchase the item. Found no one at the paint counter and no button to summon assistance. Once I found an associate it was like pulling teeth to get her to have someone help me. When he finally arrived, I showed him the paint code and explained that the online system for the store showed that it was in stock. The associate wandered the islands for several minutes and then claimed that he could not find the paint. It was very apparent this was not his regular duty and he made little effort to check with someone else that had more knowledge. After not getting any help, I spoke with the manager who said, oh are we out off stock? Rather than saying lets go check and see if we can get you the help you need. Instead he was more concerned with consuming his 48 oz pop and ignoring the concerns of a customer and trying to resolve the issue. It is clear that management does not care about the lack of knowledge or training with the employees and the Manager needs to be retrained or reassigned until he can understand that the consumers are what keeps his building open. read more

Customer service has dramatically fallen. Shopping is not an issue, getting out in a timely manner IS a HUGE problem. Store has drastically cut the number of open checkstands and employees working, making it EXTREMELY difficult and TIME CONSUMING to get out. Im starting to return to other store just to avoid the huge delay and loat time involved in shopping at Walmart. Im currently sitting at Jiffy Lube getting my car serviced after sitting 3rd in line for 15 minutes with no one helping the vehicles in front of us. Pretty good store to shop at a couple things one is it's always a bit messy or dirty might wanna a dress that issue. 2nd employees are helpful but don't really wanna go out of there way to help you find something they will just tell you what isle and wish you the best of luck. Wal-Mart auto center is the worst ever place to obtain service. Extremely poor management and customer service. They damaged our custom rims and the manager Tia spoke with us about the duckbill exploding on the tire changer, We made a claim and their insurance is giving us hassle. The vehicle is used by my wife to drive autistic clients for her employment. The managers were rude and the insurance company states that they deny it even when we provided paperwork and photos. Corporate passed off the responsibility to the local store and refuses to resolve the matter. I believe that they did not take our claim seriously because of the color of my skin, (discrimination). I am not using the card, it is a fact and reality as the manager Tia and the Auto Service manager were extremely rude, demeaning and did not provide customer service. They attempted to rush us out the door after paying until I looked at the damage. I there was a way to post the pictures on here I would. I do suggest that you reach out to me and I will send you pictures and video. No customer should be treated poorly like that. Luther Williams is the insurance representative for the area store and he was not cooperative, retained a piss poor attitude in resolving this matter. The damage has caused loss of income in excess of $1000 dollars and accruing as the vehicle rim is warped due to their negligence, They are not empathetic to customer needs. We are going on a trip and we explained the necessity of fixing their negligence, They are uncooperative, unprofessional and should be fired for such nastiness. I used the online grocery option through their phone app, and it was without a doubt, the best thing I've ever done. I place the order Sunday night, set my reservation time, and picked them up Monday morning. They worker was super fruendly, and she even helped load my car. All in all, my actual grocery shopping took maybe 5 minutes, and I never had to take my daughter out of the carseat. 10/10 would do again. read more
