Im a disabled veteran who has a legit, trained service dog, and the amount of times I've seen customers walking around with their pets in the shopping carts, and the employees don't say anything, is disturbing. There are signs on the walls and doors stating no pets allowed, and no service dogs in the carts, and yet, the employees don't give a damn when this happens. Then, when you bring it up to the managers, they alalways pull some garbage excuse straight out if their butt, like the last pathetic manager I spoke to. He tried to say he's only allowed to ask 1 question when it comes to questioning about service dogs, and when an employee corrected him and told him the train explicitly states you can ask 2 questions BY LAW, he then admitted that he hasn't been up to date on his training for quite some time. They honestly don't care. These are the reasons why I refuse to bring my service dog into this business. They allow this garbage, and then make excuses instead of actually following the law. read more

My uncle and I went to mall Walmart Walmart and got some stuff about $200 worth and I got egg white bar and when we went to check out the cards in the garden center a A worker told us that he couldn't ring us up because the computer locked him out and he had to take a lunch and with him there was another worker and she never opened her mouth so we had went back up to the main store to check out and we asked employee was the gardening section supposed to be a lockdownAnd then she said no they're not supposed to do that not to mention that I have a sprained arm and I had to carry my bar across the store so I got read more

I go to this Walmart all the time! Best customer service and always has what I need. It's fast and quick! They always keeps me updated on the clearance items. And even offers to carry my items to my car! Best Walmart to go to. Always has deals and the parking lot is super easy to park and easy to pull out off. The employees are absolutely awesome! I was shopping with a torn rotator cuff. I was reluctant to ask for help because it has been my experience that retail staff, in most stores are generally unapproachable. I asked for help in 3 different departments and everyone I asked was genuinely happy to help me and all of them made sure I was completely ok before going back to the job they were doing before I interrupted. read more

Walmart really is terrible. The only reason I continue to go there is because it's close to my house and my medicine is sent to their pharmacy, which actually does a good job. The rest of the store, however, is a disgrace. They are always sold out of everything for weeks at a time. The staff are useless and don't know anything if you ask them about a product. The cashiers most of the time are rude, stupid, and slow as Christmas. Especially the fat girl with the purple hair and beard named Allison. I think you have to have an IQ of 2 to work here. God help you if you have to use the money center because there's never anyone working in there and if there is it's one person and the line stretches out the door. I am writing this review as a concerned customer because of the working conditions I saw for the employees of this store. I went there today and saw an elderly employee working out in the COLD and RAIN bringing orders to customers cars. There are no coverings to protect employees from harsh weather conditions as they bring orders to customers vehicles. She was soaking wet!!! This does NOT seem like proper or SAFE working conditions. That poor woman was made to work ALL DAY cold and soaking wet. I'm absolutely disgusted by what I saw three today. Walmart should be ashamed! read more

Was here on Sunday, 8/12/2018 for an oil change. It was quick, easy and I thought the price was far enough. Additionally, they were helpful making suggestions about changing car/cabin air filters. As I started home to VA, I discovered a strange noise. I pulled over in Duffield to find the plastic "plate" underneath the car (removed to release oil during a change) was dragging underneath the car. When I tried to call the auto department (multiple times) no one answered. Eventually, I was able to contact an assistant manager who told me to call "Devon" (auto manager) the next day. Monday (8/13) I notified Devon of the problem. Much to my surprise he was super; apologetic, said they'd fix it or order a new plate if necessary AND give me a $20 WM gift card for my trouble. Wednesday, the assigned day, I was there at the agreed upon time (11 a.m.) and there was someone ready to take the car in. Strangely, when I asked for Devon, the young lady said she didn't know where he was. 10 min later, I returned and the car was fixed. I again asked for Devon and was told "he's in there somewhere" (pointed to garage area). As I was exiting, a guy named Justin (pentagram around his neck) approached me. He said the problem with the car was that the plate was "old and falling apart; it was being held together with zip ties!" Knowing the car was purchased new just two years ago, I did question him. His reply, predictably, was "I was the one that took it off Sunday, I cut the ties". My reply was simply that I assumed he put it back on too. Anyway, rude customer service and broken promises (gift card) added to poor performance will prevent me from EVER using this location again. Since I came here because Wise, VA's service is so poor, I think I'm done with Walmart's auto service altogether. read more

This place is really awful in the evenings. They have the new ridiculous scanners that you scan items ahead of time before paying at the "scan" register. I went through one to check out because they only had like two cashiers working only to have the cashier give a flippant, Did you use the scanner to scan items? If not you have to go to another register. So down to the other register I went only to have the Cashier close it. I don't even know why they hire Cashiers if they just stand around and don't work. I was ready to leave my items and just walk out. Very rude Cashiers not to mention they also got rid of their Pick Up area when ordering items online. It's just one big blank area. I'll go to a different Walmart from now on after experiencing that baloney. read more
