Thr place is kept decently clean for a Walmart. Employees do anything and everything to avoid work . Waited over a half hour trying to get someone to unlock the automotive light bulb case. Flagged down over six different people who all said someone was coming. Everytime I come in someone is on their personal phone, and it's not an emergency situation either. Usually planning their night, or some party with the person, other times it is them repeating over and over again various nonsense and "I love you". 90% of the time it is people in the sales floor who go out of their way to ignore customers. But occasionally it's a cashier who never acknowledged you are standing in front of them, or respond when you attempt to talk to them, or ask them a question. read more

Dec.28, 2023, had oil changed. Dec.29, 2023 car lost all the oil while in operation. Engine blown. Auto repair states that Walmart messed up the oil pan & oil cap. Causing the engine to blow. Walmart insurance claim filed. Received an email from Walmart with a claim number. Sent Walmart all requested documents from the auto repair place. I haven't received any follow-up from Walmart. Pick up department is the absolute worst. They need to pick up an application for another job because they can't do this one. Notification on app said pickup any time after 11 am. Arrived at store at 1215 and checked in. Got the "check in received and were on our way out" Called the store at 1145 only to have to repeat myself to a gaggle of giggling and horseplay and "I'm sorry what" only to hear check in was never received. It's a Walmart need l say more. If it could be anymore complicated to second guess what department something is going to be in l would be a genius. They can update the look of their private labels like Great Value but it still looks low rent. Items are typically in wrong areas and l can contribute that to their clientele, l understand they have no control over their shoppers. But l can choose where and what time l shop. Walmart is 2 miles away but l rather pay more and go to Walgreens or grocery store. True some items you must go to Walmart for and about every six months l do. But, I know it's not going to be enjoyable. No expectations , no disappointments. read more

There is one lady in garden center who scanned everything multiple times, had to go to the service desk to fix it because noone else was able. On 9/27/2024 i had the oil and filter change on my pickup truck. After i got home i notice oil had be spilled on the front of the truck and where the oil filler cap is oil drippings was spilled on the engine intake cover. Seems like theses young kids you hire for mechanic work does not give a crap about not cleaning up their mess. Sorry to say, i will not ever get my oil changed at Walmart again. Help them please someone, the Walmart in what we all know as the East Towne area of Knoxville is a very busy store most of the time so I can understand the need to stock certain products, but their shouldn't be 8-10 stockers dragging pallets around while people are shopping it's dangerous and not curtious in the least. I have never been treated with such disrespect in my life! My sweet cashier had to get assistance to finish my order, after calling for Alexis (who was over that area) I waited for almost 4 minutes before she slowly walked to us. After getting there she said "I'm sorry for your wait, I was trying to finish up something because well I have a job to do to." I did not respond to her rudeness and she finished up and said "Alright well I hope you have the day that you deserve." This is the service manager Chris which refused to give his last name and he is inept and is not able to do his job he has no idea what it means to be a service manager he lets his workers yet swamped by what he calls a lot of cars which is the number 7 cars and he does not go out and help them catch up or anything like that and he is rude and he let you sit there for 4 to 5 hours they was like four to five people that come in with early appointments and instead of them having their tires change there they just bought the tires and went elsewhere to have them changed because Walmart cannot do it because they are not fundamentally capable of working on your car if you have had your car at Walmart I would take it to a certified mechanic and have it checked out before you have serious problems with your car they have been known to leave out oil plugs they have been known to short out starters and this one I know for a fact cuz it was an Isuzu and they put the wrong battery on it and they shut the lead and it shorted the battery out and I had to have quality rebuilders and Walmart is the worst place you can go to to have your car worked on please I plead with all of you do not go to Walmart to have your car worked on if you have any sympathy for your children you will not put them in a car that Walmart has worked on. read more

I usually go to the walmart in halls, but today I decide to go to the walmart close to my home,, Three register open but the line was long and seem to me each cashier didn,t know how to run cash register, finally went to self checkout ((card only)) and place my broc on the scale/register, wouldn,t come up, so I put it aside and starter ringing up the rest of my full cart, but first i PRESS THE BUTTON TO GET HELP ,No one show up and one walk pass and I said excuse me could u help me, I got ignored. ppl behind me said its this way all the time at this walmart, I told them yrs ago I went here and it was this way so I starter going out of my way to go to the walmart in halls,. have fun putting back all the food and icecream, I won,t be back. read more

This is for the express lube and tire not the store I don't recommend this one at all for anything not even to clean my windows they messed up my rims and even said they did worked out something with them then went to get my deal and the manager no longer works there so it was time for my tires be rotated and I had pointed out to them that it looked like the one had a broken belt and he said they would check it out so after it was done I looked it over the tire was still on there so I ask the tire tech and he said ( we don't work on belts here ) really and this is what you choose as a career after having to get really upset in front of my son for about an hour the finally came up with a solution but I had to leave my car running the whole time because at that point I had groceries in the car I was just over it read more

This store is absolutely disgusting! I thought they would clean it better during Covid, but there is filth everywhere! Employees might wipe the cart handle but leave trash in the carts. Registers aren't clean. Open product on the shelves more often than not. Rude employees, your stress level will rise just going in the store. My experience at this Walmart was not very pleasant, thanks to a miserable lady. The older lady, Mary, with short gray hair was extremely rude. She watched as I walked up to the self checkout with cash in hand and watched me ring up all my stuff. I had to ask for help with ringing up an item and she dragged herself over all frumpy like and then huffed at me. I thought to myself "well she clearly does not want to work!" She helped me then I said thank you and she dragged herself off. Next, I went to pay only to realize the self checkout lanes do not accept cash. I found miserable Mary and asked is there any way I can still pay without having to go back around and wait in line again. Mary's huffing began once more. She said no that she told me it only accepted cash and there was nothing she could do. She continued to mumble other things that I'm sure were rude as well. I never heard her telling me or anyone else that the self checkout lanes do not accept cash. I told her this and she huffed once again. A big bad billy of a security guard came walking over to gawk at me. Then, another employee, a female with dirty blonde hair, came over and tried to let me pay with a hand held device but it didn't work. I then went through a checkout lane and a nice lady with medium brown hair rang me up. She informed me that Mary in fact could have printed off a receipt from the self check out kiosk I used so it would have been easier and quicker for me to pay. She also understood my frustration. I will not be back to this Walmart thanks to miserable Mary. I give it one star because I have no choice and the store itself had the things I came for! read more

Just had my oil changed and they missed the grease fittings took it back in said they did them all that time. Looked under truck and they still missed the upper ball joints and I asked them to grease them. I sure don't trust Walmart!!!!! My son used his Christmas money to purchase a Wiiu game. When we got home there was a blank disc in the case not the game. When trying to return it the Manager there was a jerk and treated us like criminals. I called their main CS line and asked can they not pull up returns for each person as we have never returned anything there or any other Walmart) They said yes and that based on that that the Manager should have been courteous and let us return it with no issues. They were far from that! I would never shop there again and probably never another Walmart. Target may be out of the way but I would suggest giving them your money! I will not complain about the messy isles and stock because it was the day after Christmas and we all know that returns and stock are going to be crazy. What bothered us was going into the store and not finding a single cart at either entrance. My husband went out to the parking lot to get one. The first line of impression is the welcome person and carts being ready. I can forgive a lot of stuff if that first impression is good. When we found there were no carts, we asked the greeter and she replied, as she leaned on her podium, "there should be people out there getting carts." I already knew there should be, but there isn't. While going through the store we asked the manager about the cart issue and he said, "a lot of people called in because of the snow." Then it is the manager's job to call in others who aren't on for today and get the job done or do it himself. I heard two different conversations between employees talking about getting their hours cut and not being able to work much. Again, why not call employees who are off to come in who may live closer and able to get out in the snow. There were only 3 lines to check out and it took a long time; Evidently those were also the employees who called in as well. Overall, the experience at this Wal-Mart was poor at best. read more

This has to be the worst Walmart I have ever been in!! It took me over an hour and after asking for people to help me lift an organizing shelf into my basket finally I found a boy that was on break his name was Craig thank you Craig and he helped me. I had also asked another associate before that if they had what I really wanted in the back maybe he never came back and told me anything I had to hunt him down to get his answer. Then when I got ready to leave I had purchased a pack of cigarettes that I ended up leaving at the register after letting our belongings I realized that I had not grabbed them so I went back and they told me that they were closed I never left the parking lot. So I wanted to speak with management because they told me I had to come back the next day. After another 30 minutes waiting outside for somebody to tell me something or bring me my pack cigarette two members of management came to tell me that I had to come back the following day because they would have to check the camera. I'm sorry but it's a pack of cigarettes if they were laying there they were laying there she said they could not give them to me I stayed I had my receipt I paid for them you're not giving them to me this has to be the worst Walmart ever the workers are lazy management is rude and useless I'm never going to that Walmart again!!! read more

Wal-Mart wonders why their business Is down, following is several good reasons. 1. Shelves are empty most of the time 2. Wal-Mart is not competitive anymore in their prices 3. No employees to help in any department 4. You ask where something is and they will point toward the ceiling and say "Over thar" wow did they graduate from high school. 5. Go to manager and ask a question and he will give some off hand answer such as we are short on help today. In other words I need to live with it. 6. Wish you could give -stars! If I didn't need to pick up a Wal-Mart to Wal-Mart I wouldn't have gone! Rude staff and I don't know if the air units are broken or what. Its like 80° inside the store. Even the workers are having to wipe the faces off non stop. oil change and general poor conditions at this Walmart I have shopped at this store for a year or more at least once a week because it is convenient. The store is dirty so I do not buy groceries here, only things in wrapped packages including dog food, garden supplies, light bulbs, etc. This month I lost my mind and let them do an oil change. No problems before but now I have no oil pressure and they are the only ones who have touched my car in over a year for a mechanic issue. I do not drive it much. I took it back to them and they are now saying it is something they are not trained to fix. and told me to have it towed to a mechanic. A major dealer ship diagnosed the problem with a 1200 dollar tag stated the seals in the car were now leaking badly. I honestly believe they damaged my car. but now the car is not driveable for more than a few mile and quarts of oil each time it is used. Don't these people realize what they do to their customers when they make mistake. The managers are in denial. Walmart needs to straighten up this store. Hire some customer friendly knowledgeable staff!! read more
