If you ever have the misfortune of going into this Walmart where everything is locked down like Alcatraz and you have to ask for help getting low-cost items out of the cabinets, make sure Ashley is not the one you talk to as she apparently hates customers and does not do well around the public. Apparently this Supermax center does things different than any other Walmart and you have to "push a button" to get help, when there's no signs to tell you to push a button. And when you're from out of state where they actually do not treat people like dirt, and the items are not locked away like they were in this store, and where you don't have to push buttons for help, it takes a bit of getting used to. Remember, if you go here...push a button. You may not know what button to push, or what the button looks like, but push it! I had forgotten my card at home, and luckily, I know my card number, so I created a Walmart account to pay via Walmart Pay. When everything was completed, and the order was about to go through, it failed. I was deeply disappointed because I knew there was nothing wrong on my end; I had money in my account, my card was unlocked, and the information was entered correctly. Of course, this was all unconfirmed at the time, which is why I wasn't as upset when it didn't go through in the store. As soon as I was home, I checked my account and card information, and all was fine. This ultimately left me to believe that Walmart's pay is not a true payment method, so why is Walmart offering it? I haven't been to Walmart in a while and I just went for a couple of things and they don't offer plastic bags at self check out even though I'm willing to pay the $.10 and they don't offer reusable bags. You can buy a self check out as well as well. I have a lady with glasses and colored hair standing right next to me at the end, where you bag stuff, watching my every scam literally like two or 3 feet away for me. Also having another lady right behind me a self check out standing in front of the computer looking at me while there's three or four of the self checkouts open with people scanning I'm always getting profiled at this one and I don't understand why they sometimes have to scan every item I have at the door instead of just checking the receipt they scan every item I have with there gun I don't know what's the problem Should have went to target or some else read more

I came here to buy shoes (their shoe section is big, yes?) and I remember they don't have a size above 13 for women's styles, nor did the business have a size chart to measure adult feet with. We have loved using pickup for the convenience but after waiting 30 minutes in the parking lot, having them substitute incorrect items and finding out we received rotten food I do not think we will be returning. This Walmart is so unprofessional, I ordered a drive up order and when I arrived to get it the app didn't have the bay number that I was parked it so I used a different number thinking the employees could figure it out. Instead, the just didn't bring out my order and I waited over 10 minutes until I called them and asked what was going on. So ridiculous and dumb. This would never happen at target. Err, in the WALMART Website, they mentioned that this WALMART is open 24 hours. To verify, we went to this Walmart after running some errands in the other part of Neighborhood. That recent visit was on Sunday June 15th 2014. Unfortunately, when we went there, this Walmart is NOT Stocked up as we were hoping for. Maybe for one, it was a Sunday that we came in. Second we went to this Walmart at 20:10hrs ish. Extreme Left Side of this Walmart is where you get all your Grocery and Produce section/aisle. Extreme Right are the Household items and other products etc. For a 24 hours Walmart is a little on a smaller side to our liking. We managed to purchase some Grocery items for the week and other essentials needed. We even spoke to the Staff at the Check out counter to verify whether this WALMART is opened 24hours. She said it is. But that DOES NOT include the Pharmacy in which what I could recall. The one thing I am puzzled was the taxes they have at this Walmart. This was my first time visiting this Walmart and the State. After purchasing several items and walking towards the exit with my receipt still in my hand, the greeter asked for my receipt and I gave it to her. No one before me was asked for their recept nor after me after I tried asking the greeter "Why me?" She just walked away. After thinking about this incident, I felt like I was targeted and stereotyped. I returned the items for a refund and then spoke with someone who presented herself as a manager. I explained the situation to her but her explanation was not sufficient. I left the store and drove directly to Target. I purchased comparable items for a couple dollars more. As I was checking out the items that I wished to purchase, I came across an item that would not scan. The attendant wasn't sure why the item wouldn't scan so he called far a manager. The manager came over and informed me that the pants that I wanted were part of Black Friday and that's why they weren't scanning. Because it's three days prior to Black Friday. I told him that's not my fault and that they should've keep the product off of the sales floor if it wasn't for sale. He said he could not sell me the pants so I asked to speak to his manager. That's where this story gets interesting. MICK, the "manager" comes over with a terrible attitude. No hi, no smile, no eye contact, very cold demeanor, no name tag and says "what's up". I explain that if the pants are not for sale they should not be on the sales floor, but since they are one the sales floor with a price tag on them, I would like to but them. Mick the d*ck says " where'd you get these?" Like I snuck into the back room or something. From the sales floor I respond. Mick the d*ck tells me that he's not going to sell me the pants. I ask if he is trained to not take care of the customers that pay his paycheck. He says "I'm denying your transaction." He VOIDS THE WHOLE ORDER ($120 order) THAT I JUST RANG UP and he walks away before I have a chance to respond. He voided the whole fricken order!!! I could have gotten over him not taking care of business and not selling me product that is merchandised for sale, but voiding the whole order? F*ck no! Anyway, the reason I shopped at Walmart is because some items I purchase regularly are cheaper than other retailers. Based on principle alone, I will pay more from here on out because I will not patronize a store that does not take customer service seriously. I have a Capital One Walmart credit card that will be canceled today. Also, I generally spend about $10,000 annually at Walmart. That stops as of yesterday. I'm sure Kroger and Target won't mind the extra sales. All over a ten dollar purchase, Walmart will lose much more than the $120.00 that I would have spent. Walmart gas stations, (Murphy's) will put between $100 and $150 dollar hold on your debit card if you pay at the pump. so that means if you go into a MURPHY's fill up you gas can to mow the lawn it will cost you $100.00 dollars out of the balance of your debit card for the next day for that lawn mower gas. When I went inside and complained they said it was my banks decision. I called my bank they said no it was Walmart who negotiated the hold. the way to avoid it if you are paying debit for a small amount of gas is to pay at the cashier and specify an amount. this will not cause a hold. I think all gas stations should post a sign on their pumps warning customers. it should be a law. read more

Good location. Loads nicer than the one further up on Sheridan at 72nd. Pretty much the same store layout and item wise. Just find the staff here nicer and shelves neatly stocked and organized better than 72nd. Great proximity with Lakeside and Wheat Ridge too. Out of the way so it's a nice stop when picking up dry cleaning or running to the bank. Less crowded too so parking is a breeze. Be careful racing around the open parking lot though, Lakeside police hang out looking for action. Molly's nearby so I'll hold off on beer or liquor purchases. Otherwise have at it! Pharmacy, Vision center, Deli, Paint Department, Hunting/Fishing/Camping too. Walmart you know and love. Just decent humans inside and you won't spend ages waiting to checkout. read more

Parking lot is kinda old and needs an update. The customer service was amazing I was welcomed into the store by a very friendly woman. The store was fully stocked. Great sales on so many things. They close at 11pm not midnight. They were nice enough to let my grandma mom, and myself use the restroom but we couldn't buy anything we needed. Went to Walmart to get supplies for my nephew's distance birthday parade. The associate at the fabric counter interrupted me while asking a question to tell me she would not be cutting fabric today. "Look at this mess, there's no way I'm cutting fabric". When I asked if she could in a little, she insisted no, that it was impossible because she had so much to do. All this with a rude attitude and tone and then when I left she huffed and went to adjust the fabrics I had looked at. I attempted to call to speak with am associate but when you do it just rings and then hangs up after 5 minutes. I tried a few times. First off it's a Walmart so like I always say: you need to lower your standards. That being said this Walmart fell short for me. I went there really early, probably 20 minutes after they opened, on a Sunday morning. You had your typical angry employees and then you have the overly friendly type. I don't appreciate being flirted with while trying to purchase a yogurt for breakfast, thanks anyways. (lol) Thankfully over the years I've become paranoid about food dates and I noticed the orange juice I was planning on buying was 2 MONTHS expired, disturbingly it didn't look bad other than the container was bloated. (yikes!) Same thing with the yogurts; half of the nutty nana chobani flips were expired so I had to find one in the back that was okay. I also got some great value precooked bacon which was "bleh" at best. Check out was okay, I used self check, and the cashier working was your typical angry type. I wished her a good morning and her response was "yeah whatever". Okay... While I sat in the parking lot I noticed the clientele of this store early in the morning is questionable and I finally got so paranoid I left and finish my yogurt later on. As others (Amanda) have said: "Well, it's a Walmart." Sure, it' s a new Walmart. So it's cleaner than your average Walmart. But then, so is your average Truck Stop Bathroom, so that's not saying much. But hey, the cart's aren't squeaky and out-of-alignment yet. So that's a plus. It's not convenient, though, to anywhere I frequent, and the Broomfield Location is bigger and better than this, and will probably remain my "Destination Walmart."
