Went to this Walmart while passing through the area to save us making a special trip closer to home. It's a very colorful and modernized version of the supercenter in our area, and while hunting for rotisserie chicken [sold out], we noticed that the deli offered general tso chicken, so we ordered some [VERY expensive at $9.46 for 16 TINY various sized pieces BUT mostly smaller than a 6yr old's palm]. I do NOT recommend this at all since it was sticky [that's okay], no orange flavor and the meat was hard and dried and NOT VERY favor nor tasty. We wished we could return it but....... I got there at 1:40 to find pharmacy closed until 2. Not great, but they have to eat sometime. BUT when they came, I had to wait for a "technician" to add me as a new customer. Meanwhile, a dozen other people came, and the technicians were being used as cashiers for these people who got there, a half hour to a full hour, after me. So I didn't get my order until 2:49, more than an hour after I arrived at the pharmacy. If technicians are needed to fill pharmacy orders, they should NOT be cashing out customers with full carts of nonpharmacy orders. Get more cashiers to check them out or have people take groceries to front of store. Again, these people came after me, some an hour later, and were served before me. Not fair, and if I had not gone up (waited in line each time) three separate times I would never have gotten my medicines. Lousy service, not first come, first served. Wish the emergency room had sent my prescription somewhere else! read more

Not to be confused with the Walmart Strippercenter, which is much sexier. This is the Walmart for Lockport and they recently redesigned it and turned it into a huge extensive Walmart Supercenter - now it seems like everyone in Lockport and anywhere near Lockport drive here to use it. So yes - Gets a little clustered and busy at times, but it's still a good location to pick up a little bit of everything you need. I can't stand Walmart but I still shop here (and especially the Transit Williamsville location) more than I want to, so I can't give them the lowest rating, but I'm extremely critical of all things related to the ethics of the company. read more

Absolutely terrible electronics section and the staff were just as bad, bought a phone 5/4/23 took out the extended warranty, today I dropped the phone not realizing it fell under the car and I ran over it needless to say the phone was toast, went back to Walmart phone and extended warranty in hand, went to the electronics told them what happened and the assistant looked at me saying go through ALLSTATE, he didn't even look at the phone and walked off, needless to say I was pissed off with the attitude of this person, it's not the fact I broke my phone I know it was my fault it's the fact that employees have their own god dam agenda when their at work and bugger everyone else moral to this story DONT BUY EXTENDED WARRANTY at walmart especially electronics you'll get screwed without even knowing it. Worst customer service I have ever encountered, I went into the customer service at the lockport NY location to pick up a money gram and got up to the desk at 7:57pm and was told by a representative that customer service closed at 8pm... first of all WHAT, ans Secondly it was clearly not 8pm as of yet. The lady that worked in customer service was very rude and basically refused to serve me. She said in no uncertain terms that they had closed down and that was that, didn't matter what time it was to her. That's just pure laziness and she does not belong working in customer service at ANY place of business... that store has always had the worse employees, they all walk around like they hate their jobs and they probably do, I'm not in love with mine exactly and I have a role that requires customer service skills as well, if my company ever heard of me acting like that toward a client they would fire me on the spot! If you hate your job..... QUIT! Don't take it out on your customers. read more

I am a frequent shopper at this Walmart. I understand the under staffing and inflation issues, those issues are not completely their fault, but my family and I have reached our final straw with this store. Friday or Saturday we went shopping, as usual the greeter there (Tom), was extremely happy and polite. He always makes our day! As I was leaving, however, another employee (I know from listening that her name is Lisa. Tall, blonde hair, big green tongue ring) that seemed to be a manager of sorts was SCREAMING at him so loud that half of the store could hear her. She was screaming for not checking one single receipt for blueberries. This went on for FIVE MINUTES. Mind you, he was not able to check ANY other receipts during those five minutes he was getting humiliated, nor did she bother to check or let him check receipts for much bigger items while she was screaming. This man did not deserve to be embarrassed in front of a ton of customers like this. Especially when he's never been anything but sweet to Walmart customers! I will not be supporting the verbal abuse that these employees are forced to put up with because "Lisa" doesn't know how to handle her big emotions. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! This is a great Walmart! New, clean, organized, well stocked. The only complaint I have is that the restrooms in the back of the store were taped off and closed (no idea why). The restrooms at the front of the store had several toilets that were "out of order". C'mon Walmart... Get this shit fixed! I like the different products at this store. I found a couple of body washes I like that the Transit Road, Williamsville store is ALWAYS out of, and a new lip balm that I really like, again not sold at the Williamsville/Clarence store. I'm a Walmart fan, and I don't care who knows it!!! This is a good one! read more

it's been a couple days and i'm still absolutely bewildered about this horrible experience i had. i had a witness so i promise this is all true (nonetheless confusing). so there's this new method of paying rent using cash that you can only really do through walmart. i attempted this three days in a row and was only successful one, on day 2/3. so day three when i went in, i was confident because i now knew the process. i had the slip to complete the transaction, and my rent money in cash to the exact change! firstly, the employee SHILOH (i will never forget that name and how uncomfortable she made us feel and how demeaning and immature she was the entire time) basically made me feel dumb from step 1. i gave her the slip and she basically said "i know exactly how to do this" and then still had to ask me question after question that was answered on the slip, ignored me trying to give her my ID so she could input an answer (remember i said i'd done this successfully so i knew she needed info from my ID), and instead had to take my ID back from where i'd put it in front of her to check the info myself. we get through the whole (somewhat lengthy) process and i give her the cash. now mind you, i'd done the math beforehand, the bank tellers had done the math, and I'd asked my best friend who was with me to count the cash and organize it from large to small bills. SHILOH took the cash and miscounted it not once but twice and told me i was short, the second time saying "and i just counted it in front of you so you know i'm not wrong" but counted it in her hand so we couldn't see it. she also held the big bills up to the light as if we were suspicious for some reason, and as if fluorescence is how you determine counterfeit money. i've worked in human services my whole life, including in retail and on register. this is obviously not how counterfeit money is determined, and that is not how you count money for a customer. i agreed to move to the side to re-count even though my best friend and i both knew we had the correct amount, and my best friend suggested i hold up the line to re-count since we'd have to get back in line after verifying what we had, but i didn't want to be rude to the other customers. we moved maybe three feet away to the other side of the other register and sure enough, had the right amount of money to the penny (also when we re-counted the money it was all unorganized even though my best friend had put it from large to small bills, so i can imagine that's part of the reason she was continuously miscounting because she was moving around the bills so weird). now we were just confused. so when we come back up, we unfortunately got SHILOH again. immediately when she sees us she says "i can't serve you, i have to get my manager." so she left and came back awhile later with a woman whose name was either laurie or laura. instead of trying to help us, instead of completing the process for us, the manager straight up said "our policy is that if she said she can't do it, i can't override that." i to this day have no idea what this means. a manager can't override a regular staff member? a manager can't correct the mistake of a regular staff member? my response was "so because SHILOH couldn't count my money correctly, i can't pay my rent?" they basically kicked us out after that, telling us we needed to leave. looking back, i have no idea what even happened. the customer service representative SHILOH was making us uncomfortable, making us feel like we were suspicious. she was demeaning by whispering in the ear of her manager about us, and obviously that also made us uncomfortable. we're still not sure how a policy like that could exist, why we were treated that way, and why they wouldn't help us at all. i had to drive 30 minutes to a different walmart (where they had NO issue helping us and completing the process with the correct amount of money that we had from the beginning), when i only live less than 10 minutes from the lockport one, to be able to pay my rent before the first of the month. SHILOH is the reason i will never be returning to lockport walmart, and i suggest you don't either if you ever have a need for customer service. ruth and brooke had both helped me the two prior days and i wish SHILOH hadn't ruined my experience when this is the walmart i've gone to my whole life, and now dread the idea of having to go back. we felt belittled and disrespected and intend on filing an official report about SHILOH. good luck to anyone who tries this transaction with her, as apparently she doesn't want young people to be able to pay their rent. read more

This isn't as dirty as some of the other Wal-Marts that I have been to. Outside of that, if you have been to one Wal-Mart, you have been to them all. I typically try to buy elsewhere, but you can't beat the convenience of a one stop shop when you are pressed for time. Half of the staff are really friendly and the other half act like they get paid Wal-Mart wages... To me that is as expected. read more

This place is laughable. I called and waited on hold for about 5-10 mins for the auto dept. the lady that answered the store phone couldn't really give me any information if anyone was even available in the auto dept. then a guy answers in auto and was rude. Telling me they weren't really open and didn't open til noon and kept calling me "guy" as in "I'm really busy guy do you want the appt time"? This place needs a huge upgrade. read more

There are so many negative things to be said about Wal-Mart, I will only mention a couple of the latest things that annoyed me. Today I waited in the customer service line for 25 minutes-- there were 7 people ahead of me when I entered, and only 1 person behind the counter... 7 people behind me when I got called. The pharmacy is a joke-- I just switched to Rite-Aid after the last straw last week, I'll pay more for my prescriptions rather than deal with that mess of a place. They continually messed up my prescriptions, were not discreet and once shouted the name of a medicine I was taking for all to hear when someone I knew was in line... I would stop in to pick up my script and wait 15+ minutes with no one in front of me in line!...one person on register with 9-12 others on staff. Ridiculous. No sense of urgency. Om general Wal-Mart is not well stocked. Their staff is unfriendly and not well trained. Unfortunately, when Wal-Mart came to Lockport most of the competition closed... So unless I want to drive to Amherst or Niagara Falls, one is pretty much forced to shop here. And often times they are sold out or don't stock an item I need, so I'm compelled to drive out of town anyways. read more

I took my car into Walmart Lockport auto center, I had a feeling ( a bad feeling) that I was not getting all of the checks, fills, and service that I paid for upon inspecting my car at the end of it's service. I noticed 2 items that were not done. When I addressed my concerns with Michael the automotive manager he was steadfast in his assertion that all of the required items were done. During this exchange the associate who actually worked on my car came over and, trying to be helpful actually admitted that he did not do some of the items on the list !!! Well with egg all over his face Michael changed his tune, I then got the store manager involved Diane Waters, she was more concerned that no other customers hear our exchange than in actually helping me resolve my issue. Her whole tact was to try and turn things around on me , the customer. She actually scolded me for being angry!! She finished her exchange by telling me, " I guess we can't help you" I was at this point angry, who wouldn't be angry when the automotive department actually admits they skipped steps!! This Walmart auto center is in my opinion not to be trusted, I would stay away. Their whole customer service mantra seems to be, circle the wagons, pass the buck, and hope that the customer just goes away!! read more
