Eastern Hills mall is in the process of converting into a lifestyle center; this store is a great addition for supporting local with are recent added coffee shop in former Tim Hortons. Paul, the owner is friendly, appreciative and greatful for every customer business, no matter if it's a small or large purchase. If you find yourself picking up an online order from JCPennys, or the DMV, or feeling like mall walking check it out. We took home some chocolate covered Oreos and salt water taffy, which were all delicious. Our daughter got this gigantic ice cream cone and ate every last crumb. Not pictured are the cappuccino that I got (so good!) and the loganberry soda that my partner and I shared. I'd never had a loganberry soda and it was SO good. These old fashioned candy and ice cream shops seem increasingly rare these days and there's something quite special about them. They make their own ice cream, sauces and toppings, and the chocolate/fudge in the candy cases. We had a blast and will certainly return.

The sauces are all homemade and in my opinion, they're really the star of the show. If you want to go all out you can get the "king's portion" double scoop sundae, but I appreciate that they also serve single scoop "queen's portions" for a slightly lower cost. The staff are always friendly and efficient, willing to make modifications so that you can craft the ice cream of your dreams. Worth noting is the very silly water station near the front door. Condrell's has always served tiny glasses of water, which is now offered in Dixie cups that you fill yourself. If you're trying to stay super hydrated these baby sized cups aren't going to meet your needs, but I have come to expect them and think they add to the charm of the venue.

This particular store only gets a 2 because they overcharged me for water and cat food, and because they refused to look in the back to see if they had any more of the things I needed, and complained about me even asking. Also they bagged my waters 4 in a bag instead of 2, making them almost impossible to carry. Edit: my subsequent experiences here have all been good, nice service, clean and easy and quiet store, quick in and out (just the way she likes it, not the way I like it though), and cheap-ish goods. Right next to my gym so convenient too. Raising it to a 3. $5 off 30 or 25 sometimes, on Saturdays if you get a coupon. Holla at Dolla General.
