I had a mishap in the Madison store and one of their products spilled and ruined my clothes. Three different people in customer service helped me until they found the person who could do something about the problem. As soon as that person was found, he immediately gave me a gift card to replace the clothes. I was expecting a hassle, but instead, everybody was extremely helpful and gracious. read more

I just waited an hour and a half at pick-up for groceries. The reason was because a negligent manager left some brand new hires alone while they went on break. I would like a refund for the time I wasted. I never wait more than 10 min for a pickup at Kroger. This was ridiculous. This Walmart has gone so far down hill its ridiculous. The employees are lazy and rude, but the leads and Management are lazy and dont do anything. So if there doing the training then there you go. I smell marijuana everytime I go in there. I have worked there and I use to shop there, but not anymore. People have their purses, wallets, and phones stolen right from their buggy. It really is pretty bad. Not to mention, the bathrooms are disgusting. The rest of the store isn't much better. I have used the online grocery order a few times because I have two young kids and would rather not tote them around while trying to grocery shop. I had one order to be picked up by 4 one day and at 3 they called to say they had to cancel the order because their workers were leaving! Ummm ok I guess we won't have dinner. So then I put the order in to pick up the next day and headed to the store after I got the email saying my order was ready. The bathrooms at this Walmart are nasty. They don't wipe down the shopping carts. The hand sanitizers are always empty. The floors are never clean. They have tons of items piled up in all the isles making it hard to social distance with crap everywhere. I read more

This Wal-Mart comes in my top five Wal-Marts, hence the four stars. I can find a slightly higher end food selection here, the merchandise selection is huge, the store is always clean, and it might be the only bricked (as in the building is covered in bricks) Wal-Mart I have seen. Wow! Big fail from Walmart Grocery pick up. I have been using the service since it started but tonight has been the worst experience. I was scheudled to pick up my order between 7pm to 8pm. Around 7:06 I get a message alerting me that my order is not ready, I go finish some things around the house--no big deal. I check back later and see my order is ready so hop in the car to pick it up. I try to check in on the app in route but the "server" said it was having issues and will not allow me too. I arrive around 8pm., frantically I am calling the number posted in pick up spot number 1 to no avail, because it goes straight to voicemail. I call the store number and ask for help and am told grocery pick up is closed, and offered no solutions. Normally I would just chalk it up to my loss, but this was not my error so I decided I really wanted my groceries or a refund. So I told the nice lady I would staY on hold to speak with a manager. I waited 45 minutes outside, also called on my husbands phone as well and never could get a manager. Needless to say I left with no groceries or a refund. You can bet I will be logging on tonight to figure out how to cancel this off my card and filing a complaint with corporate in the morning. So folks the lesson in this story is: Do not even try to arrive 1 minute late after 8pm for grocery pick up at Walmart because they do not check the parking lot or even call To ask if you are in route for your order. I cant describe how horrible this Walmart is. They have 20 lanes yet the most you see open are 5. The cashiers are rude and clearly don't want to be there. If you hate your job you should find a new one. If you're Walmart and you see that your employees hate their job you should let them go. The outside of the store is always dirty. The return line is always slow and employees are just goofing around and the "ladies" are usually just picking their teeth with their disgusting ghetto green nails. Make employees will often have their pants hanging down. Disgusting. I pray a Super Target opens soon. Maybe then Walmart will care about this location. read more

Good selection at this Walmart, but night management is among the worst I've experienced at a Walmart anywhere. We waited for about 20 minutes for a sales associate to open the cabinet to get a video game out. Then when we went to check out at the front, there were only 2 lanes open with about 10 customers in each lane. All self checkouts were closed even though there were 2 employees standing next to them. Our cashier grumbled that she was leaving in 5 minutes whether anyone was there to take her place or not and handed a "lane closed" sign to my husband and actually INSTRUCTED him to put it out. No please or thank you. No apologies to all the other customers waiting in line. I was amazed at how poorly this store was managed. read more

They have new items very soon, but when it comes to things like cosmetics, they seem to have a hard time keeping the shelves stocked with popular products. That being said, I was looking for a new item, and I found it right away. They have a great variety in their grocery department, and I even like some of their clothes. Worst Walmart I have ever been too. Last week there were only 2 registers open and I noticed 3 workers sitting around, in the buggy area, not working. Today, I went to return something in costumer services and there were at least 6 women working that did not great me as I walked up to the counter. I had at ask someone to check me out. Been trying to use Wal Mart's online pick up system and have been displeased everytime to say the least. They never substitute items, just say they "don't have" common things everytime (anything from bananas to chicken breasts), which I'm sure they would have if it went inside. Today i arrived and no one answered my first ten calls, then someone came to my window and said their phone had been stolen? It should've taken about 10 minutes and altogether took about 30, which is more time than i would've even spent in the store. read more

i have a bad experience nearly every time i go to this walmart. The one thing that ALWAYS happens is I become invisible at the deli counter. My family has learned to do without deli meats and sandwiches. The other thing that ALWAYS happens is the greeters don't greet. But my biggest issue is the rudeness and unprofessional behavior of the employees. Two weeks ago i loaded my groceries unto the conveyor. When the cashier was finished with the person ahead of me ....she looked at me and said "this register doesn't work". you will have to move to a different one. No "hello" no "sorry" and no offer to help me move my things. I personally feel there wasn't anything wrong with the register. I believe she was just being difficult. Yesterday i decided to use the self-checkout so i would not have to deal with these mean and rude people. well, one of the first items i ran over the scanner would not scan. The worker in that area came over and entered a code and then the item scanned. I said "thank you".....and of course, no response. (maybe these employees do not know how to speak) anyways i continued trying and trying to scan my items.....I did get 1/2 of my things to scan but the other 1/2 would not scan. Now mind you there was only one other person doing the self-checkout and he was not having any problems. She stood with her hand on her hip and stared at me. She refused me any assistance. i decided to pick up my purse and walk out. i left everything sitting right there. Me and my family have decided to give our money to another grocery store and stop shopping at walmart altogether. Sometimes it's hard not to get angry b/c when i was young and a cashier, we had to smile and be courteous and also have the attitude the customer is always right. But people did that naturally and we didn't have to be told. Now im a grandmother and this is the treatment i receive and have received everytime i go to this walmart. Needless to say my family shops in a different town altogether....it's much better, friendlier, respectful and we are happy to spend the extra gas money to get there. There have been countless incidents. Two different times they took my buggy when my back was turned and took it to the customer service area behind a wall. when i went there to try to retrieve my purse, they went through my purse to find my wallet, then they went through my wallet and told me to identify myself. Register #15 On Tuesday, October 27th, went to Walmart in my area at 127 Grandview Blvd., Madison, MS. I checked out at Register 15 at 21:26:31. My experience was horrifying with the Walmart cashier. I became afraid she was so stressed that I would be attached for "price matching". She became increasing insulting and angry rover items being priced matched. She berated me for "price matching" because "it could cause her to loss her job at Walmart. without seeing the ad even though ad in register." .Each Item I price matched an ad was presented to cashier. In addition, she stated she "only work at Walmart for gasoline money to get to her main job." I felt insulted and afraid. I asked to speak with a supervisor. She left the counter with three $1 cans of biscuits sitting by the register - didn't they need to be refrigerated? She wanted me to pay full price for biscuits (approx) $1.67 that I had indicated "no need for " if she needed to argue over ad she did not understand. Here are my concerns 1) I informed her if she had problem with Walmart's price matching policy put her suggest to discontinue it in a suggestion box at Walmart. 2) I am a customer - not Management to "fire" her over ad viewing as other customers wait in line to be checked out. She had already informed me that Walmart inputs all ads in its database and insists that the customer show ad to get "price matched." 3) I do not know you! I did not need to know "how" she got "to and from" her "main" job. 4) I did not need to know that she despised Walmart and only utilized her employment as a "gasoline" subsidy to get to her "main" job. 5) I needed to checkout and not be held as a hostage arguing with unstable Walmart Employee over "price matching ad". I requested to see a supervisor, she declined, to notify one. I asked a nearby worker, whom was on duty for supervisor. I received no assistance in this manner. However, I do agree that Walmart should train full and part time employees to be courteous at all times and not give their personal opinions about "price matching". I did not create the "price match policy" gimmick but Walmart cashier should inform you "why" the item is not consistent with Walmart's price match policy so you can find what does.
