So I am going to give a three star rating for this place. I live 45 minutes away, and once in a rare moon I stop here to pick up my supplies. Normally I go in the morning because the older staff seem very polite. Today, I think I will go back to the Bellefontaine or Marysville or Dublin locations, why? Well I normally hate shopping in MARION, because some of the people always stink. Today, I went here and I am dressed casual not bed time attire that you normally see at this location however name brand nice clothing. As I checked out on self scan with belt the lady named Margarine or close ( so close that I wear glasses and I could make out her name tag) stood right at the end of where you bag at and stared at me the whole time..... I literally, turned over and hey how ya doing like stopping staring and stop invading my space.... I get it MARION is full of drug abuse but not everyone is going to steal, if you alienate your customers, that's not a good thing. I can see watching from some space and not making it so noticeable like a creepy crawler. I know I won't be back to this one I think I will just go to Kroger's, everyone is nice. I also want to say this was the third issue with this store- one day they had no bread and TP stocked and the one time your proteins as marked down when I went up to the cashier she said it was my error. Well just so happened I went to the Marysville location and it was on sale I bought all 5 remaining protein shakes. That's why I gave three stars. read more

Had 2 tires replaced on my truck and when I went to pick it up, 4 dashboard lights were illuminated. When I went back in, the technician stated they were on when he brought the vehicle into the bay. They weren't. After complaining, they finally got the store manager, who advised me that their policy is to call a customer if any dashboard lights are present prior to beginning any work. I received no call, which supports my assertion that they damaged my tire sensor when replacing my tire. I tried filing a claim with their 3rd party insurance company, but of course was denied. Avoid getting automotive work done at Walmart as they don't stand behind their work. read more

Produce department. Produce is old. You really have to search for good produce. It does not last but a day or two never order produce online. I do not drive and have to depend on somebody to pick up my groceries. I am a vegetarian so I really rely on good fresh produce. The produce I received yesterday is horrible. All my vegetables are really bad The containers of arugula and spinach are slimy. Cucumbers are mushy. Roma tomatoes are mushy. My zucchini is bad. My tofu is expiring in a couple days. Grapes are smashed and leaking out of the bottom of their bags. I don't know how anybody can get this ready for somebody to eat very poor food quality and to have someone pick your groceries for you to pick nasty slimy stuff should not be working in that area it's disgusting. I went online to return the items and got the first item on the list and the website just signed out. I was not able to add the other items. read more

Marion Ohio WalMart: Had to run in and buy a FoodSaver as I was breaking down a tube of meat and the old one conked out. About $60. Later that night checking it out online and they have it listed for $45. Go back to the store next day to get $15 refund of price difference. So instead of just giving me back the $15, this is what I had to do: Return the FoodSaver to WalMart, Order the same FoodSaver online, for $45, with free delivery. So I order another one and go to the store to return the one I just purchased. WalMart delivers the the one I ordered online, the following day. And you guessed it, the one they deliver is the EXACT one I purchased in store two days ago. And when I say the exact one, not the same make/model mind you, but it's literally the same unit I bought in store. But hey, I guess that made the most sense for WalMart. What a ridiculous policy. read more

On 12/09/24 my 2001 Ford Explorer was serviced for an oil change at the Marion, Ohio Walmart Auto Service Center. The service technician (John B.) noted on the final paperwork that my vehicle had a "broken front sway bar link" that should be repaired. Upon bringing it to my attention, I then brought the vehicle to my usual mechanic to get the part replaced. At that time, my mechanic also pointed out that the rear shackles that hold up the rear leaf springs were in immediate need of replacement due to rust and deterioration. We also decided it was due for new rear shocks as well. If it hadn't been for the Walmart service tech notifying me of the front sway bar link issue while getting my oil change at Walmart, very serious issues could have gotten worse soon and cause major damage to my vehicle or myself. I'm very thankful he went "above and beyond" while doing a rather simple routine oil change so that I could get the issue looked at further by my own qualified mechanic. I was shopping at Walmart on January 10th when I heard a young lady working for OGP yelling across the store at a young adult also working in OGP. I think that she needs talked to because it was disrespectful. he did nothing. I feel so bad that she traumatized this young man, please talk to this employee and make sure no one else has to go through what he had too. I had to post this I tried to look the other way but I care too much and can't let injustice go forth unchallenged. It greatly pains me to leave a 1 star review on such a fine establishment such as Walmart super center. Please I beg the manager make sure no one has to go through this again!!! I avoid this Walmart as much as I can. I was in the auto area looking for a motorcycle battery. For some reason my Year, Make, and Model was not appearing in their lookup catalog. I tried using their electronic catalog. Same thing. I had visited the Bucyrus location and this information was in their paper catalog. I didn't think to write the number down. We approached the counter at the auto center to ask for help. The person said if it wasn't in the catalog he couldn't help. We had the old battery with us. He didn't even try to help us find a match. This is how a lot of employees are at this store. It will be a long time before I even consider shopping at this Walmart again. read more

This store is the worst possible customer experience in Marion, OH. Their policies of return are also completely ridiculous. I bought an inflatable bed here and found out that the inside item was broken. When I tried to return it with my receipt, they told me that they wouldn't take it if the box had been opened. Well, how am I supposed to know it's broken if I don't open the box. The staff was rude and gave me a glorified cashier to talk to instead of an actual manager when I asked to speak to one. Go to Meijer. Order off Amazon. Support downtown. But this Wal-Mart should never be your choice. read more

Awful customer service asked a person in a yellow Jersey to assist us with finding an item and she just points in a direction instead of showing us. Finally find the item and it is behind a bunch of full boxes on a pallet in front of what I needed no one around the department to come move them so we could get the item. Walmart really outdid themselves with the express lane for Money Services. Download the Walmart app on your smartphone and when you want to receive/send money fill out all the info on the app then when you get to Walmart all you do is scan the screen at the register for the QR code and the rest is done by the cashier. No fuss no muss and no annoying paper receipts. Plus there is a way to keep track of all the transactions you have had. Simple. Reliable. Fabulous! Also... if there is a long line... you won't have to wait in it... it really is express!! read more

This WalMart is sorry compared to other ones in Marysville and Kenton, Ohio. They are always out of stock of most needed items of any household and groceries. I never seen anything like it. I understand at the first of the month, but it has been every time I have gone in to this particular store. The help, not all, but most seen like they don't want to help customers when asked a question and they'd rather walk around in their WalMart attire and look important rather than to assist customers. I know the actual store can't help parents control their children, but this store has an abundance of screaming children and unattentative parents. I will drive 30 miles to shop at other Wal Marts rather than deal with the disappointment of shopping here. read more

Horrible trying to get a job through these guys. Keep getting the same person and about the third transfer back to the operator she was definitely bitchy. Can't get ahold of anyone in their HR and I have yet to receive a call back or any notice from them after 3 days. Nobody ever seems to be in the office. Do NOT visit this Walmart especially if you have a medical condition. I was denied access because I was unable to wear a face covering and the excuse the man at the front gave me was that everyone is doing it as he mentioned Meijer and Kroger. So because of peer pressure Walmart is practicing discrimination against people who have legitimate medical conditions. THIS particular store is a hot mess. Any time I return something, with a receipt, it's still questioned, probably because of all the nonsense that goes on in Marion. Any time I order pictures, which I've taken myself, they are questioned. I understand why, but being treated like a criminal gets old. I'm nurse, my husband is an attorney, I don't need to rip off pictures from the local wally world. I get sick of it, and I try to not order much from the place to begin with. Currently I'm on my 4th call, and 4th 10 minute hold, to the place trying to talk to someone in site to store. The managers are unsure of the actual policies, so they second guess everything, and make the customer feel like they've done something wrong. Normally a decently clean and organized Wal-mart. The only downside is going in there after 9:00 or 10:00. So many times they've only had 1 register open and the self check outs are turned off at night it seems. Kinda sucks waiting in line with 6 other people. read more

ok, let me start off by saying i have shopped at this location since it went in. i am very very unhappy with the quality of their regular ground beef. i have noticed that it is giving off twice the grease then last year. now i understand cost and all that mumbo jumbo, but there is no excuse when half of the meat turns to grease before it is done. this time i drained it into a measuring cup and it was 3 quarters of a cup of grease from 1 pound of cooked meat. i will no longer buy beef from them Meijers has much better results. thanks. read more
