Stopped in here before a cruise to pick up a couple of things. I've been here before also on a cruise (the ships that leave out of Bayonne have a stop in Orlando). Laid out like every other Walmart. Lots of parking. Employees were helpful. Noticed that they now have a gas station (they didn't when I came here a couple of years ago) and it was $0.20 a gallon cheaper than other gas stations do filled up the rental car here. This Walmart Supercenter location has been serving our Merritt Island area of the Space Coast of Florida for many years now. I remember when this Walmart Supercenter location was first built and everyone was just so happy to have it. I appreciate Walmart because they have great products at a good prices. The team at this Walmart are always super friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. This Walmart location does finally offer gas to purchase. Waited for 15 minutes after Pressing the service call button in cosmetic area - 2 employees were of no help & unwilling to do anything to help me - finally a young man Nick went and had them call over the intercom for assistance- he deserves credit & to be recognized. Also it's makes no sense to lock up the cheaper cologne & have the face creams that cost 3 times more just on the unsecured shelves next to the locked cabinets -- and customers should be a higher priority than stocking shelves . read more

Been coming to this Walmart forever, I am a 6 generation Floridian. But, when I went to do some shopping (3rd time this week) I needed some help in the ladies department. Came in today after getting off cruise, we went to the liquor part and soon as our group of 4 stepped in she yells if your under 21 step to the side as we entered. We are all in our late 30s. Then a few mins later 2 younger white males came inside & she said nothing to them. Noted! My wife tried to enter the restroom and the door was locked so she asked cashiers did she need a key to get inside. No answer they just looked at her. this place specializes in hiring people that don't actually speak Any English, if you want to interact you have to use your cell phone and a translation application making the whole process pointless when I can just google or use the walmart application. So what is their purpose? they can not conduct customer service for English-speaking customers (shocker English is the main language of America). This location has half a dozen none English speaking employees. The store seems to be in a constant state of filth, think Family Dollar and that's what Walmart has devolved into. This place doesn't even deserve a star. Do not ever order anything for the walmart. Every single delivery driver sits at this Walmart for over an hour which ends up getting order's canceled left and right. I just sat at this walmart for an hour and 10 mins waiting on an UBEREats order along with 19 other cars. Of those 19 cars waiting only 2, yes TWO, people received their orders. The cocoa Walmart will have your order out and in your car in less that 10 mins. They are completely under staffed and do not want to do anything to change that. 8/10 Walmart workers you see in this store don't care about anything let alone a customer. Their customer service is fuckin horrible, when they're there. Half the time you'll be waiting for 15 mins just to see someone. Go ahead and try to call customer service. I was on the phone for 20 mins with just a ring before I hung up. Management here is down right HORRIBLE. Please drive an extra 10 minutes to the Cocoa Walmart, or any other grocery store that is. I'd like to give Portia a 10 star review if I could. She went above and beyond to service her customers in a very difficult situation. Sebastian, the front end manager, I assume, would get zero stars if that was possible. He was slow to respond to her calls. Then when he finally arrived, he decided to reprimand her in front of the customers she was trying to service. Sebastian, or leads like him, is precisely the reason Walmart cannot keep good associates. We need more Portia's and fewer Sebastian's in customer service! read more

Auto Service Center was Fantastic! Had my car towed here with screw in it. They evaluated to fix but couldn't because of where the screw was located and helped me pick out the perfect replacement tire. Took less than an hour and everything was all put together again. Went to the store on the causeway between Merritt island and Cape Canaveral. Must be the worst store I have been to. Asked one associate where the book section was. She had to get her phone translated app to understand what I was looking for. Sorry but if you are working with the public you should be able to at least speak the language of the country. Asked a second associate and she said it was near the Pharmacy, it wasn't. If you work in the store you should know exactly where all the departments are located. read more

visited this store from out of town and I saw 4 employees at each entrance. Only one register opened and lines for self checkout going to the back of the store. we asked who the manager was and got three different answers. The last answer was that the store doesn't have a manager. nobody was concerned about all of the customers waiting on excessive long lines and no registers open. "We may not be able to cancel this order, it may have already been prepared" was what we received back. living in Merritt Island grocery shopping is challenging the only big box store (outside of paying membership) Walmart is our only option. the store is basically clean, fairly well stocked but the two main problems are finding an employee to assist and their lack of sufficient number of electric carts. the island is notes for its senior citizens (before the dreaded snowbirds and tourists arrive) but finding a cart is next to impossible! Publix a much smaller store has at least 10-12 carts to walmarts 3-4 if they are working. then they're usually occupied by overweight shoppers! read more

I was left at the paint counter for 20 min. I had automotive page and I called and spoke to the human switchboard and they also pages for someone to come. No one came, while walking out a manager passed hauling some stuff on a pallet and I was thank you for sending someone to help at the paint counter. This blond of a girl said no one showed. Wow what happened, this used to be a decent Service Center. 7:43 am we waked in. The guy in front of me beet me to the Counter by 10 Seconds. Fist 5 min. Nobody shows up, then a friendly Staff member takes our Orders and takes our Car keys. The other guy gets a oil change and a tire rotation and I get 4 Tires mounted that I brought in. All bays are empty, Nobody in front of us. He is out a mediocre hour and 15 minutes later and my car is finally finished 2 hours and 47 Minutes after arriving. It so happened that the Manager walked by and I approached hin in a quiet spot, not trying to draw attention. His answer explained everything: what you want me to do I only have two Technicians here.... it is what it is.... the other Store is worse... bla bla bla...I don't know how much money the Technician gets per hour, but the 48$ they charged me is for work done in 45 minutes or so... Every DIJ car guy with a wrench and a carjack could do it in one hour. The previous Manager an Hispanic Man wit a havy accent was on top of Things and it didn't take two hours on a busy day, or he would have helped himself. I don't accept the new Normale where everyone is just doing things less the mediocre. I have a Car park of seven Vehicles that got all tires from there, but not anymore. I want to give special recognition to Laura Lee in Electronics for helping me set up my new phone. I had no way to call customer service to set it up, so she used her own phone to call them. Her help was greatly appreciated as my husband is not well and I needed to get the phone activated and get it done as quickly as possible. Living beachside we have very few options to begin with, this place is no longer one of them. The staff is so rude. I was treated like a criminal every time I set foot in this place especially while checking out. I once had an employee actually grab my debit card out of my hand... I wish I was kidding. Backstory: I was purchasing last-minute party supplies for my baby shower and in a last ditch effort went here (it was the only store still open past 10pm). When I was paying at self-checkout the system wasn't working so I informed an employee and she acted as if I had broken it, snatched my card out of my hand, and pushed it in the machine. It still didn't work. So I waited another few minutes for it to "restart" which was fine I've just never had someone grab my card out of my hand. It was very inappropriate and just plain rude. I've had so many issues with this store and their staff. Prices marked wrong, bad attitudes, and just bad vibes overall. Stay away!!! Target has the same stuff and at least the employees aren't rude. Oh and prices are really about the same. If you're grocery shopping Aldi is a much better alternative as well!! read more

They say this store is open 24 hours, but they don't tell you what is open. I waited 20 minutes to return some items at 4 a.m., but no staff was around the entire place. I ended up dropping my returned items in a bin by the counter, walked through the store grabbing items I needed for the same amount, and then left. There are no cameras around or staff, so I guess this is what I'm supposed to do for an even exchange. read more

I know that this is Walmart, and not a fine boutique but it was messy and disheveled. More than any Walmart usually ever is, and yes I get that the holidays are approaching but it makes it hard for me to shop when I can't find correct prices or items. After searching for what we needed, we got in a check out line, and our cashier was less than thrilled to be there, she had nothing to say, not even a greeting until there was a problem with the credit card machine, and she said "What's it doing?" To which I replied "Nothing" and she said "well it has to be something cause it's locked on my side"... then she figured it out, and never had another word to say to me. Maybe it's just me but I love the holiday season and love to see the cheer spread. It is my local Walmart so unfortunately I shop here more often than I would like but the terrible customer service today threw me for a loop. read more

Nice to have a place that has EVERYTHING in the area. I do buy the stuff I can't find elsewhere here (most likely because all the small shops had to close because they can't compete on the prices). I'm a local, and I saw how they killed the locals. But this is the card we've been dealt. But this particular store...not so much. I usually drive to the Cocoa Walmart. Unless it's mid-day in the middle of the week, I don't go here. It's crowded and they have two lanes open. Maybe three. And I feel like I need to take a shower after I go here. Only good side is the folks in the marine section (or the auto folks, whom help out with 12 volt stuff that crosses over to marine stuff) when I need something for my boat. They have been useful. Forget going to the electronics section and finding anyone who has a clue. Target kids actually understand the hardware. All I get here is a dazed look from this Walmart. Bottom line, I feel like I'm in a store surrounded by zombies when I go here. I get in and out as fast as humanly possible. read more

Pretty clean for a WalMart! The staff here are quite friendly but the store is laid out in a very strange way, and I couldn't find a couple of things I was looking for. It seems that most of the staff are either the greeters, cashiers, or in electronics. I couldn't find any other staff members in the store, so I left without a couple of the things I had originally gone in for. My boyfriend and I looked at some TVs and the girl working in electronics was extremely helpful. She knew lots about each product and tried to guide us in the right direction. Overall, it's a clean WalMart with friendly staff - how can one complain about that? read more

It's a typical Supercenter and has all the usual options. Clean aisles, cold AC, and has the new layout/design. Staff is helpful and friendly when needed - previous visit was returning an item and Customer Service was quick to get thru the line. Better than half the WS in Orlando. read more
