Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals, and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. This particular Publix is located in Cocoa Beach and has a great overall ambiance. Also, parking in this shopping plaza definitely was not an issue. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location for that matter and I give it five stars. read more

I enjoy going to this Publix when in the area. This is the closest Publix to the rental I stay at. It is bright, clean, and the aisles well stocked. Whenever I have had a question or was checking out the staff are friendly and helpful! There is ample parking but the lot can get crowded depending on what time of the day you go to the store. I suggest going early in the morning when shopping at this location. If you are a local or in the area for vacation go to this Publix. read more

Great looking Publix with a nice Deli section that has friendly and smiley associates. I went to check on their subs but decided instead on buying some fresh veggies and cooking them for a nice vegetable stir fry. This week they had their green beans at BOGO which was a great deal. Some of their other bagged vegetables also looked very fresh and I got some for my stir fry. I always check their weekly grocery flyer to find out the best deals.... There were so many associates organizing fruit and vegetables as well as canned goods all over the store, no wonder why this Publix looked so clean and so neat. read more

Everyone from the South always hypes up Publix' "Pub Subs". Visiting from a state whose grocery stores suck, I never understood how people could be so adamant about a simple deli sandwich. Upon my roommates advice I order a Chicken Tendie Pub Sub with buffalo and ranch. For $10 I got about three pounds of chicken tenders shoved in a whole ass baguette, drowned in condiments and covered with melted toasty cheese. Wow, I've never seen a store that has both a grocery store and a completely separate Liquore-only store! Guy was super friendly and asked how our day was. I was surprised to walk in and out within 5minutes. It probably took me longer to find parking. Again, really have to check this place out. I recommend coming here vs a grocery store. Oh yeah they have more then wine, spirits, snacks and all. Just a quick fast trip to grab adult beverages. read more

This place makes the phrase, "Where shopping is a pleasure" a true reality. The checkout cashiers were wonderful. One of them actually helped us put the groceries on the check-out belt. They thanked us more than one time for shopping at Publix. The store met the top standards of the Publix grocery chain. It was clean. I felt comfortable shopping during Covid-19 with social distancing and sanitizing rules enforced. Our groceries were reasonably priced and we took advantage of 2 for 1 sales. There were many of them out front just as we entered the store. My husband is handicapped and we had no problems finding a parking spot close to the entrance. We are visiting the Cape Canaveral area and this Publix made the chore of food shopping an actual pleasure. read more

The team at Publix (I'll call them Publix north) does a great job of taking care of their customers. The group working the deli is always very helpful and attentive to the questions you have. The store is typically well stocked with all of the usual items I look for. Yes, you can find an item or two lower at Wal-mart, but you won't match the customer service or experience there. read more

The pharmacy and pharmacists and technicians in this Publix closest to Cape Canaveral are outstanding. I think the grocery store managers are superb also -- everything is neat and clean -- top notch. I do want to say more about the pharmacists -- Ms. Tanya and Ms. Beth. They have been wonderful any time I have a question -- and, with my mom at 94, we have a lot of questions. They have administered shots, counseled on medication interactions and recommended more economical ways of doing things - all done with such respect and dignity under difficult times (Covid, etc) that I just had to reach out and let the public know. I have called several time and spoken to Ms. Nancy, who is a pharmacy assistant. She was so polite and gracious. Thank you all! read more

I have used the self check out lane in a couple different stores, usually no one acknowledges us unless we need assistance, which is fine by me. But, today my toddler was in somewhat of a mood, you couldn't tell from the outside looking in. I was very uncomfortable shopping at the store this morning. Most of the staff and customers were not wearing masks. This is my favorite Publix out of the 5 Publix's in the area I use.. The bakery smells amazing and takes the extra time to help you when ordering that special cake.. The deli, I hate waiting, so I give them a list and I come back near the end of my shopping the meats are always sliced the way I noted .. Big plus+++! The meat department is so easy to work with to cut and/or repack my selection to my family's needs.. These are my top 3 reasons I like this Publix the best!! I'm the dad of the family, and as such, I can't say I do enough grocery shopping to be ready for "the price is right". However, when I ran out Sunday AM to stock up the rental unit for breakfast, lunch, and general necessities and walked out with a $150 food bill, something is wrong. If I can spot a gouging, then it must be bad. I paid, grumbled, and left... And found Aldi on route 3 in Merritt Island. Everything is probably half the cost. I bought a 4 pack of disposable razors at Publix, $4.79...saw them at Aldi for $2.59. Groaned as I walked around Aldi, seeing the difference in prices...ad nausaum. If I lived here, Publix would possibly serve the purpose of emergency food runs...or filling in the gaps....but definitely not for everyday shopping. To its credit, the store was clean and had a great selection. It's probably got the best selection around, but not enough to justify the cost. read more

Absolutely love Publix. They actually have more diverse products than Meijer. Starting shopping here waaaaay back in the day when my grandparents were alive and living in Clearwater. Today we needed to shop for the week in the condo. Prices and selections are great! The store is very clean and well organized. I cannot say enough about the customer service! Nicholas, a manager, was present in ever isle we shopped in. He greeted us, ask to assist us with finding things and one time we saw him speaking with another shopper and asking how her shopping experience was. When we got to the check out, he was helping bag groceries. After baging our stuff, he wanted to take it to the car for us. I love him. read more

Too much plastic . Need to use less plastic. Start with bag. Then stop packaging fruits and produce with plastic clam shells. Not recycled. Stuff that had numbers for recycling are not recyclable here. Publix can be an innovative store and set a new standard. We are a beach tow. read more

My designated go-to market whenever I travel to Cocoa Beach. I typically stock up on groceries to make some lunch for the week if I choose to be "healthy." They have pretty much anything you would want from a grocery store, including an in-house bakery and sandwich and deli shop serving Boar's Head. The staff is always nice and helpful too. A couple days ago, a young lady working the register was helping out some guy in front of me with two little kids who were crying. She settled them down by handing them a Publix sticker and also went to the front of the store to grab some coloring sheets for them (after checking that I didn't mind waiting a minute). Stopped grocery while on vacation. Good selection of fresh produce, high quality bakery items, fast checkout, and friendly staff!

Five stars because this is where I buy all my food (other than eating out). Never have had a problem with quality, if you time it right, customer service is great (don't come at lunch time, or after 4 p.m.) If I do come BY ACCIDENT during a busy time, I just take my cart down to the check-out area by the customer service center and wait a minute, if there are 3 carts in any line, they open up a new line, and it's always by the customer service area. The deli folks are good, the folks in the meat department cut the slices I want if I don't see something desirable pre-packaged. The fish guys are always solid. Again, the key thing is timing it right. The seasonal folks can make shopping a nightmare when they pour back in town, and the apartment/condo weekenders will fill up the place when they hit town for their vacations. After a few years you figure out when to avoid shopping. We're glad they are here, and spending. But don't go to Publix in the Spring on a Friday at dinnertime. That's your mistake. read more

What can I say about Cocoa Beach?! It's definitely an interesting city! I felt that I DEFINITELY was a tourist in this town. My Besties and I all met up Florida. We came across this supermarket on our night drive the night before. We needed the last minute essentials- sunblock, toothbrush. . .etc. My friends and I noticed how "CHEAP" the prices were here. It was mind boggling! There was a couple in the same aisle as we were and I mentioned to one of my friends "OMG, this is hella cheap" while pointing at a Pantene shampoo bottle. It was $3something for the HUGE bottle. When it usually is $8-$10. The couple looked at us if we were insane. I smiled at them and they asked where we were from. I told them he's from NYC, I'm from Huntington Beach, CA and he's from Los Angeles. They told us "we were just saying, WOW, they raised the prices on certain items. When you pointed out how cheap it was we were shocked!" We all giggled. Coming from busy and expensive cities/states, everything outside of NYC and CA will always be cheaper. As we checked out, we stuck out like a sore thumb- we were the ONLY Asians. The cashier was friendly and had patience with us. read more
