The movie ended at 10pm and as we were walking out, we noticed a couple of claw machines on our way out and I gave my nephew $5 to play before we left. Well this rude lady comes from a door near the claw machines, maybe security I dunno cause she wasn't in a uniform but with a pretty ridiculous attitude she says "YOU ALL MEED TO LEAVE, the mall is closed!!" I looked at her and said "Excuse me!" And with an attitude again she said the same thing..... so I told her she ask politely without being a B! The mall should not have movies that end that late if this lady is going to harass people on their way out..... I was treating my family to a fun night and it was just nonsense how she acted. If she is part of your employment.... Maybe find someone who is actually wanting a job and considerate. Unnecessary drama for no reason. Side note- all the theater employees and the movie was amazing!!!!

It has been my go-to for formal wear, Iowa Hawkeye gear, shoes, accessories, swimwear and more over the years. But this summer they changed their return policy. I think a lot of it is pretty standard... - Return within 90 days with a receipt: Receive purchase price back to original form of payment - Return after 90 days with receipt or anytime with a gift receipt: Receive purchase price as merchandise credit only. - Return without a receipt: Receive current selling price as merchandise credit only. My issue with this change is with their new FINAL SALE policy. - They cut the tags off your brand new items to ensure you can't return them. Therefore my newly purchased, never worn item that I just so happened to score a great deal on... looks not new. Possible pre-owned. What if I planned to gift someone that item? Don't they deserve to know it hasn't been worn and is right off the rack? (Or in my case, I got a supposedly unworn bikini without any tags... which was unexpected. And kind of weirded me out.) If you need to scribble on the tag, over the barcode-- go for it. But I go to Von Maur for the experience and the unique items sold there. It is tacky and off brand to send new items sans tag. (And when I contacted customer service to express my opinion about said two piece. I was basically shrugged off.) I buy plenty of thrift items for myself and even they include a tag... just sayin. This would be a two star, just because of how I feel about the new changes. But I still stand by Von Maur as a quality store. This change may stop me from getting certain items here now. I have noticed they are often out of stock or very limited stock on items particularly electronics. The Apple area is particularly abysmal. It's really hit or miss if you'll be able to find the item you need. I've noticed this seems to be a consistent issue at this location. I've been to many other Targets, particularly Super Target locations that do not have this issue. Despite the often stock issues, I do much prefer coming to Target rather than that other big box store in town. The vibe at Target is a gazillion times better. The staff are always helpful and seem to know their stuff more than that other place. This Target would receive a 5 star if they'd only address the product stock issues.

I timidly approached the racks and realized that this truly is a Clearance Center from a price perspective - the markdowns are astronomical! I saw someone else say that it was worth the two hour drive, so I decided to tempt fate and cross my fingers that it would be just as good for me. Over $700 later, I left with gifts for nearly everyone in my life (including myself!). The highlight of the place is the women's dress section. It's huge and dresses for EVERY occasion. The amount of sequins in this place is unreal. The men's section is also enormous, as is the women's (non-dress) section, including a great plus-size variety. The shoe clearance section was all women's; there was another shoe dept but I never made it over there. The most underwhelming area was the kids department, and specifically the boys section. The girls section was decent, but the boys was crazy sparse. The baby department had a fairly good selection. The main focus here is ABSOLUTELY clothing, but there are some home goods. If you're making the visit, make sure you walk the whole store and aim for clothing!

When it comes to customer service and quality of product, Melissa's knocks it out of the park. The store is unassuming, located in a quiet corner of Westland Mall, but I had nothing short of a five-star experience and love the items I purchased.
