This Walmart is getting renovated and is looking FASNTASTIC. The floor and floor is clean, service is not the most friendly but at least is respectful. The offering in the fresh produce is always stock up specially in the mornings. They now locking things up like the detergent and such but I didn't as why so when u here u just need to ask to any associate to help you to get some of those products. For 20 years, this was my go-to Walmart. I was a loyal customer. Not anymore. My lifelong boycott begins now. Looking for sales on Christmas decorations in late December after the holiday had passed, I found an excellent deal! There was this Santa's Bake Shop inflatable normally priced around $100, but it was about 75% off with "only 2 remaining" as the website touted. Stock was low so I had to act immediately! At roughly $25, this was a nice little bargain. And I could pick it up at the South Nashville location. So I bought it! Two days pass and the item should be ready in South Nashville. Instead, the South Nashville store cancels my order and claims that the item is sold out. What's the purpose of having a button you can press on a website to buy something that is low in stock only to have your order revoked? Is that how online shopping works with Walmart? But it gets worse! A day later, the item reappeared on the Walmart website ... fully in stock ... for $199.99! Say what?! Yup, Walmart is just that greedy. Why make $25 off a customer when you can make $200? And that BUY button on their website? It means absolutely nothing. read more

I order for delivery once or twice a week. The delivery has been going downhill for months. But, my last order blew them all away. The delivery person carried 15 bags of my groceries in one hand. I had to get over $18.00 refunded for my broken eggs, bread flat, a whole list of items destroyed! I do not want refunds. I want someone to care enough to respect the people who have hired them and the customers who tip them. I was told last time back in delivery and pick up that it is delivered though a third party called, Spark. I researched Spark and they are OWNED by Walmart so do not give me that excuse again. Most are on their cell phone as they carry my order to the door and many do not speak english. I just turned in a $300.00 delivery order. If this order is messed up, I will not be a walmart+ shopper anymore. I will pay the difference and shop at Publix. I am a good customer. I needed a charger for my phone and different people actually walked me to where I needed to go. I spoke to 4 employees and all were kind. This is one of the more popular Walmarts in the Nashville area as it is probably the closest to downtown. It's always fairly clean, but getting in and out of the parking lot is really awful at times especially during rush-hour or the weekends. The biggest issue with this Walmart is getting in and out & parking. It's notoriously difficult for both. As far as Walmarts go, this is my least favorite in the greater Nashville area, but the closest in proximity. It's chaotic, overly crowded, and in the store too condensed. I will say I appreciate their newer way of labeling areas in the grocery part. I visited this Walmart multiple times. I can not in all fairness leave a positive review for this location. The overall Cleanliness on a 5 point scale merits a generous 3. The electronics department each time I've visited is understaffed. The employees I suspect are taking on more than they can handle. Having said that, the service could use improvement however let's be perfectly clear. Running a money making Goliath such as Walmart as they rake money hand over fist,their lack of staff is inexcusable. I feel that many of their workers suffer from the verbal assaults from disgruntled customers. My heart goes out to these employees who are subjected to such abuses. This is in no way a negative review on Wal-Mart as a whole for I've frequented many Walmart's from the west coast to the east and my overall impressions of most is most favorable. I have however had good experiences in the grocery section of this store. The electronics department is a product of poor management putting profits before consumer's. I recommend taking a little extra time visiting the two nearest Super Walmart's nearest this location. read more

Terrible customer service. I went to get a beauty product but it was locked up. I pressed the button for assistance, no one came, so as one would I went looking for a worker. The worker came over, claimed that this is pathetic and that someone should always be in that section for assistance, but did not unlock it for me. I go to find someone else, she rudely tells me she cannot do anything to help me because she doesn't have the key. I go to ask someone else, she says to go to customer service to ask. I go to customer service and the lady says, "someone's over there right now unlocking it". I go back over there and no one is in sight. At that point, I walk out. This Walmart plumbs new depths every time I'm forced to go. What little personnel are scheduled to be there--and there are never enough--are beyond miserable to be working there. There is no one in the floor to help you and the register attendants are the slowest at any retail joint I've ever visited. Today I went to pick up an online order and left empty-handed after waiting for twenty minutes for an employee to show up; they paged five times but no one came. There was only one line in service and the self checkout line was a mile long, Needed to get in and out to grab a shop vac for a flooded house and I had to wait in line for almost 30 minutes. We love Walmart for prices and variety. They seem to lack quality brands for some people, and I understand that. For the most part, produce is very good, quantity is very good. Their salsa (Pico de gallo) is better than any other brand. Walmart brands compare favorably to many. read more

Walmart I have been trying multiple times all week to purchase tires online for my car! I have ALWAYS purchased my tires from Walmart! I order them online and it's usually easy! Not this time! I have spoken to several customer care agents at your 800 number and continued to get told they fixed the issue. I was told I had to wait 2-4 hrs then retry the purchase. I got told it's because I had not purchased anything online for over a year. I got told it was resolved! I got told Walmart suspected fraudulent activity despite me jumping through your hoops of codes in my email and resetting my password multiple times! I even attempted to have another person purchase the tires from their account with the same results! I have been trying for 4 days! Now I'm told it will be another 48 hours before I can attempt to purchase anything and that my order had been "escalated." I'm not sure where things get escalated to but I suspect it's to nowhere and that results in additional days of telling customers to wait! Do you not have the tires?!?! Is it false advertising?! I know the issue is not with my credit card because the credit card company approved the purchases but Walmart continues to cancel the orders! Is Walmart suddenly not interested in close to a $1000 sale? I realize to a huge company that is not much but this loyal tire customer is no longer interested in waiting for an issue to be escalated to Nobody in the department of Nowhere! I was highly disappointed at my experience here. I tried the store pickup option to try and save on time, but I will say that you will have a better chance at getting faster service if you just shopped in store. Before heading to the store, I checked in through the app as stated and upon arrival I waited 15 minutes before asking someone where the pickup assistant was. When the person was called, it took them another 15 just to bring me the items. I was baffled because it's not like I had multiple items. Not to mention the traffic to get in and out of the location is horrible! You spend a significant amount of time just navigating that. Definitely not located in the most convenient place. read more

Might be one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. I went there to transfer money to a friend in Mexico and the pretty little Latina girl at the customer service desk was super helpful. We decided to do a Walmart to Walmart transfer because we weren't sure whether or not the Walmart in Mexico supported the other transfer types. We got everything setup and then my card wouldn't work . I ended up having to go back to my house to get my other card, which was no big deal. But when I got back, a different person was at the customer service desk. After waiting in line, I asked to do the Walmart to Walmart transfer again but she said there wasn't an option for that. I explained that I had just tried to do one 10 minutes earlier and she didn't seem to care at all and just showed me the screen and told me those were my options. I asked if she could tell me for sure if my friend would be able to pick up the money if I used the other options and I don't even think she answered me. Eventually I asked to speak to the manager because it was obvious that this lady didn't care at all about helping me. But the manager didn't care either. Even worse, the manager just ignored the lady being rude and giving smart responses back to me. I will be avoiding this place from now on. If anyone at Walmart cares, this occurred around 3:00pm on the 8/22/23, so you can figure out who the rude lady was behind customer service was. read more

I walked in to this Walmart at 4:35pm on a Wednesday (today). I was quickly stopped by the greeter who saw the bag and receipt in my hand. She asked if I had a return, to which I said, "yes." She told me, "Sorry, no one's here." The returns section looked like a ghost town. I asked if a manager could do the return, and the greeter said she didn't know. She then said I could go to another Walmart. She was not rude... unfortunately, she made no effort to try to help me. Maybe she was told to send people away. I understand that everyone's dealing with staffing shortages, but come on. I then tried twice to call the store and speak with anyone. The phone hung up on me both times after ringing for a while. The fitting rooms weren't open (and still aren't) so I had to buy a lot of stuff to try on at home. Tried them at home and when I tried to return the wrong sizes, customer service weren't available. I've been there three different days at different times and customer service HAS BEEN CLOSED. I asked store employees what time customer service comes and they told me THEY DON'T KNOW! This has been going on for about a week now and I'm just fed up. I'm a student and don't have a car so I have to Uber there everyday to get told no one knows when customer service will be available. I've already spent so much on Ubers. My pocket is bleeding and I'm quite frustrated. Once I get this sorted out I won't be stepping foot into a Walmart ever again. Granted, I won't be missed, but if it gives me peace of mind then so be it. read more

Nice clean interior, weirdly lit, oddly reminds me a bit more of a K-Mart than a Wal*Mart. Little smaller than the megastores I'm used to. Interior experience was fine, I guess... I heard more cursing at that store than I think I've heard in a lifetime at other walmarts. It appeared to be mostly from Vanderbilt staff on break being foul-mouthed and in nicotine withdrawal (why is it hospital staff all have to smoke - never understood that bit). But I heard at least 4 different people exclaiming profanities or vulgarities quite loudly. Yeah dude, I really want to know what you want to stick your dick into... really really want to know that. The entrance/exit is the worst I have ever run across. This was around 1 or 2 on a Friday, there were cars backed up 10 deep trying to get in blocking lanes of traffic. A rolling parking lot was parked in the entrance lane delivering cars to the car lot next door, there were cars 20 deep backed up attempting to get out. When I exited and was returning a cart on foot, guy floored it to get past me to stop before he slammed into a car, just cursing away I assume from his erratic and hurried attempt at exiting the place (really, the way he left I assumed he was fleeing) Good Walmart, bad design, crazy trashy customers for such a nice area and store. No problem with the staff, no problem with the store interior. Laziest fucking people I've ever fucking dealt with came here to buy an Xbox controller at 10:30 at night and everybody selling me. Electronics is closed. Well they get the fucking key and open the case that's all I need you to do. You can take the controller out front I'll pay for it, but no lady said probably there's no key because the person that works in electronics probably took it home, so why do you have store hours then? My roommate and I knew that Wal-Mart was coming to our neighborhood for quite some time. My roommate was heartbroken because it wasn't a Target but I was really looking forward to having a grocery store right down the street! Growing up in Arkansas, I have seen the best of the best in Wal-Mart shopping centers and Supercenters. I was excited to check out the newest one. It is clean and things are easy to find. The parking lot and entrance/exit is a bit of a fiasco but hopefully they will install a light in the future. It's only crazy during peak hours. If you go in the evening/late evening to off hours, it's not a problem. I went on opening day and they had a nice arch of pink and white balloons welcoming you into Wal-Mart and even though the produce section is small, they have quality items. I have purchased great tasting fruit such as strawberries, bananas, blueberries, clementines, and apples. The meats and salads selection have been excellent too. Last night, I went hoping to pick up some photo collages that I had already paid for and was trying to find assistance. I had to go to the only open registers because at night, they use a few cash registers to check-out customers. The cashier told me that I had to come back tomorrow because the Photo Center is only open from 9am-9pm. I tried to explain that I had already paid for them and was only needing to pick them up. She told me that no one was back there to help me. I understood and was walking out of the store when I ran into the Assistant Manager. I asked him if he could assist me with picking up my pre-paid photo collages. He asked for my receipt and I gladly gave it to him. One minute later, I had the photo collages in my hand! The quality of the collages was fantastic. I ordered 14 sheets and all were excellent. I couldn't wait to show my boss at work the next day. This was a work assignment and I was so pleased with the unexpected service! Thank you so much to the Assistant Manager for helping me out. I really appreciate you and because of that, I will be ordering 50 more collages today and picking them up at your store! I like Wal-Mart and I know that there will always be biases and haters towards them but at the end of the day, isn't it about being treated right? My interaction with the Asst. Manager was professional and he tended to my need. For me, I will never forget the customer service they provided for me and will definitely be returning. read more

Unsure if it's the management or the workers however some lady at the returns was very rude when I asked if I could take the unoccupied grocery cart. Told me that it's hers even though she's wearing a Walmart vest then gave me a nasty look. Wouldn't come here unless you enjoy the cigarette smoke coming off the employees as their being super rude. I absolutely loathe this Wal-Mart. I have never once, not one single time, had a pleasant experience at this store. For starters, the parking lot is extraordinarily inefficient to enter and exit, so your inconvenience begins before you even enter the store. The shopping carts are all old and either have shaky wheels, get stuck together, vibrate, or make loud squealing noises. The store is always filthy and the shelves are only ever half-stocked. The employees are extremely unhelpful, apathetic, and at times have even been rude and aggressive. There are a dozen checkout registers at the front of the store, but only 1 or 2 of them are ever actually open. I began shopping at this store to take advantage of Wal-mart's low prices, but this location is such a dumpster fire that I quit visiting entirely. I will not return to this store. I have been twice in the last several weeks. Amid the COVID-virus, they are not controlling safety. There are NOT any signs promoting social distancing, enforcing traffic in aisles or cleanliness in the store. Many of the employees were wearing their masks severely wrong 0r NOT AT ALL. There was not any sanitizer or cart wipes at the door. Only 1 of 3 people had on masks and there were not any signs indicating mask safety. So i create a walmart.com user account and i search for google chromecast and i purchase a google chrome cast 2 as a Christmas present. I get a confirmation email saying i bought a google chrome cast 2. So i call walmart "customer service" and ask why my item was delivered to Minnesota... they said that I apparently bought the item from a 3rd party vendor. I said that's pretty bad that I bought it without even knowing i was buying this from a 3rd party but still needed the item shipped to the address I put in... They let me know that I needed to contact the 3rd party vendor... and he gives me a phone number to call. So I call the 3rd party vendor and get a computer recorded message saying that they cant pickup the phone (got same message 3 times) so I left a voice mail message... I get no call back... Then I actually received a package to my surprise and delight! I open it and i get this... http://prntscr.com/hmhawh A MiraScreen... All i know is i didn't order a MiraScreen i ordered a google chromecast. So i call walmart back again and explain i got the wrong product. The lady tells me that she will fill out a ticket to have a manager contact me back within 1 - 2 business days and then hangs up on me. I promptly call back and ask to be transferred to a manager and the new lady transfers me right away... I explain to the manager that I ordered a google choromecast... the confirmation email says google chromecast and that's what i would like. She says we need to give the vendor 24 hours to "make it right". I get an email in the middle of the night full of typos saying that they are sorry they shipped to the wrong address and a new one should arrive soon and they provided a tracking code... for the item i already received... I called Walmart back for now the 4th time. I have to fight with the lady to transfer me to a manager... i have to explain all over again to the manager whats going on... i get transferred to an "Escalation Manager". I explain what happened to the escalation manager and he promptly tells me that i got what i ordered... So apparently the item title is "For Google Chromecast 2" which actually means that its not a Google Chromecast 2 but is an imitation that looks just like it. So that I got the item i actually ordered. I explained how misleading that is that Walmart would allow 3rd party vendors to sell products on walmart.com with the title of another product and that I'm sure Google would be happy to hear walmart is selling knock off Google Chrome Casts and calling them Google Chromecast. He said he wanted to call the 3rd party again to ask for a refund. I said go ahead they are in china and aren't going to pickup... which they didn't. So he said he would issue me a refund for the misleading advertising. I told him I didn't want a refund... i wanted the item I ordered... he said he couldn't send me a google chromecast because those cost a few dollars more than the fake item I purchased off their website. So after 4 phone calls 9 transfers over 3 hours working on this I am right back where i started had i never purchased the item from Walmart. Never again... will i be shopping at Walmart. read more

We went to this Walmart about a week and 1/2 ago. There was only one checkout line open and a assistant manager came up while we were checking out to tell the attendant to close it up after the person behind us. Her words were after that lady there, close it up and go to lunch, she said, the other customers could go complain at customer service and then maybe the lazy employees sitting on their (caboose) (my word not hers) would get in trouble and actually do some work. At that point the only way to check out was the self check out area. Should have had more than one lane open anyway, but I understand the attendant deserves a lunch. Today we went back for several things we needed and there were absolutely no attendant to run registers, but there were at least 4 watching the self check out lines. I spoke to the actual manager of this store and he was extremely rude and said self check out or nothing as he talked on his cell phone to someone that seemed to be a personal call from what I could hear from his end, so I left my full cart and took the nothing option. This is absolutely the worst Walmart I have ever shopped at so far. It is getting apparent that all Walmarts are getting to the point where we do all the work and all they do is provide the products.
