Goodwill is genuinely elite. I've made what feels like 50 donation runs while moving, and somehow every trip ends with me discovering I apparently owned 30 pairs of shoes and enough turtlenecks to survive as a 1970s French philosopher for the next decade (oui oui) The staff outside are absolute legends too. Super kind, they come right to the car, help unload everything, and never once looked concerned by the mountain of unnecessary purchases I was donating. Feels good knowing all this stuff won't go to waste instead of haunting me in storage bins forever. More Therapy is probably my next stop because clearly I have a very specific talent for buying things I do not need. read more

Quality/Quantity - My daughter wanted to see what a Goodwill outlet store looked like. See pictures. Books sold as each. Furniture priced as marked. And clothing, including shoes, were sold by the pound. Interesting experience. I actually feel that many of these customers plan to resell what they were buying here. Good for creating commerce and entrepreneurism. 3 registers, but only one was open. Huge line by the backroom "doors," I think everyone is waiting for the next "shipment" to get first dibs on the products. Good to know that most, if not all, our donations are used. Honestly do not even attempt this... I've been to one before but this place is completely trashed. We came in and there was so so many people there and people have no shame. They throw stuff around, throw stuff on the floor to try to find a good deal. I mean... Yeah you want a good deal but seriously... I wish I could leave a zero. Imagine people donating things to you and if it doesn't sell you dump it. The worst part is if you just lowered your price slightly, it would sell. VHS are sold in Goodwills anywhere from $.25 - $.99, some a $1.99, but when you go to the Goodwill bins they're $1.89 per pound. That works out to over a $1 per VHS. So, you're telling me VHS in your retail store is cheaper than VHS at your bins? And you're telling me that you'd rather throw them away then sell them for the same price as the books $.59 per pound. Yepp, that makes total sense, especially when it was all donated to you. Just adding to the landfill instead of lowering the price. Shameful. Definitely not for the community. The most wasteful and ungrateful company I've encountered. read more

I'm a reseller. I decided to come and take a look in this place instead of my usually dumpster diving. I was in area because I'm a rideshare driver. I sell lot vacuum and houseware parts. The customers were really nice. Even helping me pick up things if I dropped something. I found oreck vacuum. The cord was really long. Only way to get it is to pull it. I wasn't going to stick my hand in there in case of glass. Unfortunately I dropped a lot of items. There was a employee that made a comment to me about dropping the items on the floor. I said really politely I am going to pick it up don't worry. I made sure to put all dropped items back. I clean up after myself. Even at my local thrift store. I don't want make employees job any harder. The cashier that checked me out was really sweet and polite. I was amazed how cheap and reasonable this place is. read more
